We needed a paver walkway to match the tones on our home. We also were told by our HOA that we needed to install an underground drainage pipe in order for the work to be approved. Mark came to our home, surveyed the work, provided several recommendations of what would look best and explained the entire job process and what types of materials he uses, how the drainage installation would work and voila- the job took less than a week and we couldn't be happier! While many companies can brag about how great their pricing or work is, what is just as important is how they handle something the customer isn't satisfied with. We had a somewhat small backyard redo and unforeseen for us was the requirement for concrete footings for a pergola which we hadn't received yet but on the fly had to estimate where they would go. Since we were doing pavers, we needed to have the footings in prior to the pavers and that presented a challenge. Mark, the owner made himself available not only during the install (when he was done with our project) but also stopped by during the construction of the pergola. He even came back to our home to insure that we have ample footings to connect one of the bolts that we were unable to install due to the footing being off by a inch or so. In addition, while no concrete is w/o cracks all the time, we ran into especially hot weather and despite insuring as best he could the concrete being the right consistency for a small side run, it developed some cracks that I wasn't happy with. Mark asked me about how I wanted to handle it and readily agree to replace it w/o any hassles. So, in the end both me and my wife were very happy about the overall workmanship, pricing and more important the support that Mark gave us not only during the project but on a come back to address an issue. I will recommend Eminent and Mark's professionalism for ANY paver job that friends and family need help on. As an aside, one of my buddies is a concrete professional but would have had to do this job as a side job and was particularly impressed with the paving job- Omar, Santiago and Mark are all top rate and the workmanship of the paver installation is second to none. read more

We are so very happy with our back yard pavers. Mark was so easy to work with and made sure we were happy with the progress every day of our 1 week project. We originally wanted stamped concrete but after Mark showed us the samples of pavers and the combination of the 2 colors, we were hooked. This was my first project with Eminent Construction. They were one of many companies I obtained a bid from to demo my townhouse backyard and put down a concrete floor. The work included: - Removed of brickwork - Removal of a brick BBQ - Removal of a stone pond - Demo existing concrete - Put down a colored, stamped concrete floor The total yard is just shy of 800 sqft, so not a small project but not a major one also. Some of the companies came in with "magical" quotes that appeared entirely made up. I thought Eminent was very upfront. Miron and his team showed up on time each day and worked through to completion. He was present, gave good direction, and the project was finished ahead of schedule. I'm certainly not an expert when it comes to home project, but I thought this one went very smoothly and appreciated the professionalism of this team. One point of stress in the project was the need to pull in a plumber and AC specialist to cap a gas line and move the AC unit. Miron assisted arranging both of these, and his team was able to coordinate them to not impact the project timeline. The patio looks fantastic, it was a solid experience, and I would definitely recommend them. read more

Mark and his team tore out a very old and very ugly cement driveway that we share with our neighbors and replaced it with beautiful Angelus courtyard pavers. He was able to calculate the cost of each of our portions separately (down to the sq. ft.) so that we both felt really good about splitting the bill. I contacted Eminent about finishing my 20x40ft dirt driveway with paver stones. I found them through Yelp and they got back to me quickly. Mark, the owner, came by the next day to look at my job and quote me. He was great to work with from start to finish. He included removing a huge tree in the driveway in his quote and still came in competitively. I trusted Mark to oversee all the work and I'm glad I did. He was on site almost every day to make sure things were going well. Sending me pictures and calling me if he needed anything. At one point we ran into a small overrun in cost due to a miscalculation but it was handled professionally. We also needed to install a drain along part of the driveway, a surprise, but it was done really well, looks great, etc. Mark even coordinated a lot with the guy who was doing my automatic gate - which was really going above and beyond in my opinion - to make sure the entire project came out great. Got 3 bids for improving an old outdoor staircase. Went to three contractors, got 3 got bids. Miron at Eminent Contruction was the lowest. He came twice to go over project twice, down to the details. His crew did beautiful fast work. The man who set up handrails was a craftsman. He set the handrails a little wider at the bottom and the result made the steps look like an invitation to the house. I am in Silver Lake on a hill with limited access and the patio had 1/2 ton of pebbles to remove before they could grade and install the new turf and pavers.
