As I'm checking out, the 3 donuts I was purchasing rang up @ $17.99, I asked the self checkout clerk about the price of the donuts after 6pm and she said she didn't know, nor did she refer to a co-worker for confirmation. She just voted the $17.99 and charged me $1.89 each for essentially day old donuts...after 6pm! I was taken back and slightly frustrated and I'm the process of paying cash I forgot to grab my change for the bill I used. I didn't realize it until I was in my rig at the light about to turn left...in that time someone‍ grabbed my change and took off. When I came back and inquired about anyone returning unclaimed change, I got 2 no's and a shrug. Then the black woman, whom I'm assuming was in charge, had a..." I could give a damn, that's what you get!" vibe. Am I surprised? No; shit happens when you're distracted, apparently the thief needed my change more than I did...God's Hands My miss the crew that usually works self checkout! UPDATE: After talking to a manager this morning with the same 'could care less' attitude as the lady from last night, I accept the fact that my change from my $100 payment will not be recovered and I accept the possibility of my change being taken by an employee...such is life.
