The staff is rude and the food takes forever to come. Ordered take away and I waited 15 minutes after the waitress said it would be ready "soon". She came back 3 times to say it was almost ready. I finally left after the customer who walked in and ordered food while I was waiting got their order and left. I didn't realize garlic beef and fried rice were that hard to make! read more

We ordered for delivery two vegetarian dishes and spring roles. The spring roles were excellent. The "vegetarian" dishes were horrific. One was loaded with shrimp, which would cause one person in our house to go into anaphylactic shock if we'd not noticed. It's not often one realizes a restaurant could've killed them! The dogs got a lot of shrimp and one of us picked at the miserable dish. The other "vegetarian" dish was loaded with big horking chunks of chicken. I do now and then eat chicken so I ate this with only slight reluctance, but it wasn't what we ordered, and it wasn't particularly tasty, just soggy slimy noodles. I considered asking for a free replacement with actual vegetarian dishes but not convinced they'd be all that much better without shrimp and chicken. We've patronized this place for years and forgiven them for cantankerous attitudes toward customers and occasional errors in making up orders, as they are close by and until now never tried to kill anyone. But this eradicated all good feelings. read more

I wanted to love it but it was adequate. No I grew up in San Francisco with some of the best Chinese in the world. The egg foo young was one tiny egg patty then it was all rice and chow mein with a lot of chicken in the chow mein. The rice was dry and just nothing to write home about the chow mein was decent lots of veggies. Maybe I'm only tried the wrong dish. I'll try to go back another time. I did love the staff. They were friendly and you could tell they work really Hard. they were very busy and the ambience was that a place that is well visited. read more

I love Emperor's Palace and whenever we have takeout from here, it's a great night in our house. My absolute favorite thing to order is the Butter Garlic Chicken Wings! We typically round that out with Crab Meat Cream Cheese Fried Wontons as another appetizer; then entrees of Orange Chicken and Lo Mein (Typically House Lo Mein). The latter 2 dishes make delicious leftovers too. Though we have never dined in, every pickup and interaction with staff has been kind. Definitely would recommend Emperor's Palace to be anyone's go to Chinese takeout spot! read more

Ordered 5 Half-Trays for a birthday dinner with 18 guests. Spoke to "Ju" at the restaurant. The Chinese food was delicious, and there was plenty for all. Even had enough for guests to take some home. The food was ready on time, which we really appreciated. We picked it up You have to pay in advance, which makes sense. They included plenty of sauce for the egg foo yung. Lots of dipping sauce for the pot stickers. Plenty of soy sauce packets, and fortune cookies. For the 5 half-trays we ordered, it cost $290. We made our own rice at home. The prices for individual dinners are reasonable. We have ordered from China Wok previously, but when I called, they said they didn't offer party trays, which was a bit strange, since their website said they offer catering. I called 3 days ahead of our party. But that's okay, because we discovered another Chinese restaurant, and it's even closer to my parents' house. Try Emperor's Palace on Kitsap Way. We ordered vegetable egg foo yung, chicken with pea pods, broccoli with BBQ pork, green pepper beef, and pot stickers. Yummy! Ordered take out from here so not sure what the inside looks like. However, the portions are huge!! Was not expecting this much food, we should have shared. Recommend sharing with someone. But I love that the portions are larger for the price. Unfortunately, not all entrees come with rice so we had to order it on the side which seems standard. There were more wontons than showed I just got hungry before I could get a photo. Everything was yummy; however, the general (Tso's?) chicken didn't taste as expected, I don't know how to explain it.. but i still liked it! read more

The food and service were good. There was an argument with Uber Eats driver and someone from the restaurant took an order away from the Uber driver. A loud argument ensued. It was very uncomfortable. Then another Uber driver came in and was told the order was given away and picked up 30 minutes ago. He politely asked for the order to be remade. The restaurant staff refused. We waited patiently and we're ready to pay. Finally a staff member took our check and card. We have been eating there for more than 30 years. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. My husband and I tried Emeror's Palace via delivery for the first time early last week.. 3 days later we ordered again! It's so fresh, so good, and honestly some of the most tasty shrimp I've had from a Chinese restaurant. First night we ordered Orange beef (so good) and the butter garlic shrimp (delicious with a small but great kick) and the crab Rangoon. This time we ordered Orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and broccoli beef. Holy moly the broccoli beef was the best I've had and the honey walnut shrimp was mouth watering. The chicken was crispy and my husband loved it. Super affordable, quality food. We will be the newest regulars for this spot. read more

Got two dishes. 1:Spare ribs and 2:Emperor's chicken. Let me add menu edits for you: 1: we really were just gonna trash these. Days old, cold chunks of pork on some cabbage we had laying around. We send some sweet chili sauce for fun, it doesn't actually compliment them, and is actually pretty gross, but we had it. 2: we fryup the grey parts of chicken. Don't worry, It's definitely cooked. Then we add like five onions. We make sure they're not cooked through. Then we combine the remnants of every sauce and put that on the chicken and onion. By the way, if you call to complain, this is HOW WE DO IT. So deal with going hungry if you disagree. Happy to clarify that for you PS really did call, really was told that. It is a great restaurant to go to if you're craving for some American Chinese food. AND if you're looking for some AUTHENTIC Chinese food, this isn't the place for you. I didn't read the reviews or look at their pictures that were posted by other Yelper's. A big mistake that I often do. I came here because my friend co-workers recommended this place to him. So, we decided to give it a try. Turn out to be a little disappointing for me. I'm usually not a fan of American Chinese food, because it's mostly fried food. We looked at the menu and decide to do the family style, it's a fair amount of food for a great deal. $14 per person, I was pretty excited about their food until their food arrived. Turnout I was shocked lol... like uhh in my mind, this is not the food I wanted. It mostly all fried and some were burned. I was very disappointed with their pork fried rice lol... can they be more plain! I mean at least throw some carrot and pea in them. It was literraly just pork and rice lol. Well, it is what it is. I really liked their customer service though, they are attentive and never leave my cup of water empty. I would recommended this place if they are looking for American Chinese food. Greeted by a sweet lady. Restaurant was quiet and clean. We ordered Egg Rolls, Chicken Lo Mien, Chicken Kung Pao, & Pork Fried Rice. Everything we ordered was extremely fresh and tasted so good! We had a very busy day and was totally not ready to do anything cooking wise for dinner....we had a take out menu from emperors palace on 303...BOOM dinner done!!! We had friends with us so we made a multiple order of different items...broccoli beef/broccoli chicken, orange chicken, chicken lo mein...all were all wonderful!! This is Bremertons best kept secret! But I cannot anymore. The staff here is so wonderful and friendly. Food comes out pretty fast. Its never wrong. Recently they gave their place a facelift and its very nice possibly still some things in the works. Large groups could comes here, or just a table for one! The food is so good. First of all I wouldn't really put even a 1 star here. Here's why - I ordered beef and broccoli for my toddler and they gave me vegetable curry with only a little bit of beef. Their Beef and broccoli taste like curry. my toddler didn't even try to eat it. Second of all - the vegetable fried rice! Omg! It has egg shells!!! Wth! I mean come on man! I'm feeding this to my little one, I even told the lady who took my order that a toddler will eat this too. eww. Last thing - the pork bbq! Not the one I'm expecting! It's way too cold!!! We just moved to area and miss our favorite Chinese restaurant BUT we are very excited to have found Emperor's Palace. Our first meal included 8 Pot Stickers - they were good but could have cooked a bit longer, we like them browned up. No complaints on flavor and they were a great compliment to the meal. We had Orange Chicken and white rice- really flavorful sauce, appropriately breaded, good meaty pieces and a large serving. Pork chow neon rounded out the meal. It was also flavorful, had a great variety of veggies and generous portion of pork. We felt the prices were good and encourage you to use the online order and pick up yourself. I was really excited to learn that I could get Ubereats to deliver Chinese food to my house! Wow! I hadn't eaten at the Emperor's Palace before, but I took a chance. I'm so sorry...... I ordered egg rolls, but they were filled with old, slimy vegetables. They also used old, slimy vegetables in my "chow mein with crispy noodles", which wasn't chow mein at all.....and the noodles were not "crispy fried chow mein noodles" (but limp, old soba noodles, I think). But worst of all, was the "almond chicken" which was completely inedible. I think that they deep-fried a pile of rocks. I had to throw away all of the "food". But the redeeming quality was that my Ubereats driver, Stephen, was fabulous! read more

Well let's start with the nice lady who served me, her voice showed a welcoming side that I haven't heard much since my beloved days back in London, when I was friends with a little girl named Millie. (Oh sorry good people, I believe I zoned out) Anyway, on to the rest of the review, she gave me excellent service with a smile as big as mine. Than I ordered the food and my taste buds were dancing as much as the Great lads in the Nutcracker play, Jolly good show!!! The Rice was heavenly! The meat was most definitely out of this world!
