    Lemon salmon roll

Friendly service and nice setting. The lunch menu had several choices to choose from, even for non sushi eaters. I had the lemon salmon roll and it was fresh and chips tasty. Incredible and large selection of sake too!

You will have a mouth orgasm if you eat here. Best Sashimi Combination and Rock & Roll Classic Roll I have ever had. Spicy Salmon Roll had me wanting more. Well worth the price.

Food was incredible. Bento Box is elite. Fried Dumplings were gone too fast for a photo. Morgan our server was great as well. Great quick service. Will be back when I visit the area

Deeeeelicious! First time trying jo:a tonight, my mom is a huge fan so we stopped in right at 5pm on a Tuesday. It was already relatively busy, but we were seated quickly and food was very prompt! We had the "Giant" roll, bento box with chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, and shrimp/veggie tempura, takoyaki (my favorite), and tempura Brie with jam (SO good but filling, recommend getting it for a group of 3 as we got full fast)! We will be back. I love the other sushi places in Kitsap, but the customer service and quality of fish really stood out here!

Special - jalapeno popper! Has spicy tuna and is tempura'ed

For the record, Jo:a's is OPEN. We had lunch there today FEB 1, 2023. We've been coming here for years. I love the fish quality and normally our go-to is salmon nigiri, the giant roll, miso salmon collar, fried oysters. I recommend all of those! Today, we tried some of their new specials! The Spicy Mania roll is my new favorite. Perfect texture and flavor between the spicy tuna, scallops, jalapeno, and habanera. And it's beautiful. Volcano Roll, the spicy crab on top is amazing. Highly highly recommend! The jalapeno poppers were really fun and surprising, lots of flavor and I love the sauces on it! The sushi here is fantastic quality, and I recommend trying out their new menu items!

My son chose Jo:a for his 8th birthday meal since he loves sushi. We got the takoyaki, spicy edamame and tempura chips for apps. The takoyaki went too fast for a pic. They were SO good. Exactly how you get them in Tokyo. The edamame was my 4yo's fave. Everyone LOVED the food and you get a lot. There were leftovers. My son got complimented by everyone for choosing well for his birthday. We'll definitely be back again to try the sushi next time

I'm such a sushi love just like one of my other friends. We decided to come here for lunch after our work picnic. The sushi is to die for and the drinks are really good. We ordered a few rounds of sushi and the edamames. Love it

My favorite spot for sushi this side of the sound. The guy who used to do their soups, which my family loved, moved to a separate place, right next door, but as far as I can tell, food's still pretty good - although I really only go here for sushi. Still trying to work out what to be ordering to get the most bang for my buck, volume-wise, but all their rolls are pretty tasty; about as good as it gets around here. Solid for both dine-in and takeout.

Left bottom: teriyaki, right closest: spicy tuna, (I forget the other, Alaska roll add avocado

We order take out (because of COVID) and it was our first time trying jo:a. The staff was nice, the rolls were a good size, and actually quite affordable! It was so cool that they labeled the box for us to know which roll was which! However, I wish they would let customers know they do this because I have a shellfish allergy but my husband does not. This time he did not order anything with shellfish, but if he had, I wooodnt not have been able to eat it due to being in the same box. But many many kudos on the default of reducing plastic waste! Loved this place :)

Spicy Tuna Nacho. Bland and dry.

I came here to fix my ramen cravings but apparently they don't serve ramen anymore so I settled for Udon--so be warned. I came in around 6:15p (dinner time), pretty busy. Anyway, I ordered Udon and there's barely any broth in it. I asked for extra broth and the waitress came back with miso soup. She told me they're out of broth. Wait. What? It's dinner time. How are you out of broth? I got the shoyu chicken udon, nothing to really write home about. Also, the spicy tuna nacho, don't get it. Pretty bland. Nothing special. Look at my pics. I haven't tried other items on their menu so I am only writing about my first time experience here but I am unimpressed. Maybe I'll return for other items just to be fair. Update: They told me they are out of broth. They just served a guy across the table from me Udon. With broth. NOT COMING HERE AGAIN.

To go order wrong. Fish dried out and tasteless. The Kitsap peninsula truly is a restaurant desert.

Yes. Please call (360)692-1380 during business hours to make a reservation.

Do you have a gluten free menu/options?

This is a Japanese restaurant, so . . . You should ask them if a dish has gluten in it, but there's a lot of sushi options that don't contain gluten. The teriyaki should be gluten-free. The staff is friendly and has always been willing to modify…

Unfortunately, it took a very long time for all of us to get our food. Our group of 14 overwhelmed the restaurant. They did add 18% gratuity because of our large group, which is understandable. The bento box entree was impressive. I ordered the sukiyaki, but I wished that I ordered the bento box instead. Other dishes that looked good included the chicken with beans. The meat for the kalbi was tough. The sushi was good. Not spectacular. I would come back in a smaller group the next time. And I'll order for our family, the teriyaki chicken bento, basil green bean with pork, chirashi, and Shanghai beef noodle.

The restaurant was spotless, welcoming, and appeared to have been recently remodeled. Bringing a group of 19 people into a restaurant at noon could easily overwhelm the serving staff and the cooks, but that was absolutely not the case here. About half of our group wanted the traditional Korean BBQ experience, which included grill tables and cooking their own meats and vegetables, while the others preferred dishes prepared by the kitchen. The staff accommodated both without missing a beat. We were seated quickly, orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived surprisingly fast. And it was plentiful! There was only one server working the dining room, yet she handled everything efficiently, professionally, and with a smile. Every order was correct, and everyone felt well taken care of. The checks were presented and taken care of very quickly. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Every person in our group left happy, and many were already talking about returning with their families. It's rare to find a restaurant that can handle a group of 19 so smoothly while delivering great food and outstanding service. All 19 of us agreed: Seoul Korean BBQ earned a well-deserved 5-star rating. It was that good.

Today however lines were crossed in the most unprofessional, rude, unwelcoming and disrespectful manner. My husband initially went to go order our food but unfortunately this time he experienced Myla, the cashier, continuously talking over him while ordering. Although we've experienced her behavior before we would just brush it off. I received the dynamite fries and couldn't eat them because everything was soaked in unagi sauce which many may know it can be salty when your food is drenched in it. I then went to the counter politely apologizing for even complaining but would like to have the food remade with less unagi sauce. Instead of saying anything kind, Myla complained to the cooks about me complaining about my fries were too salty. She made jokes aloud while the cooks laughed. I was standing there the entire time patiently while she was tormenting me. Meanwhile, Myla was helping other customers with the upmost respect because at that point she noticed I recorded our interaction. The food was remade and not a word said when she handed it to me. My husband then went to ask for the cooks name and Myla's and while they're waiting he overheard them talking about my appearance and making fun of the interaction. Will not be returning because I don't codone discrimination, bullying or torment in any business no matter how a person personally feels because of a very minor issue.
