I love Empire! If you are a fan of deep dish - this is not the place for you. They specialize in thin crust NY style slices and whole pizzas. They offer salads and garlic knots too. Tonight I did take out and ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of the uncle Buck - which has sausage on top. I also added a half Caesar salad to my order. Two slices and a salad had me stuffed! The slices are huge and made with quality ingredients. They put shaved Parmesan on the Caesar and include delicious croutons. Their ranch or Caesar dressing are very tasty. This was my first time at this location and the staff was awesome, welcoming and attentive. They have a few more restaurants that have a full bar, you can find them in Edmond or the plaza district. This shop doesn't have a full bar, but they do offer fountain drinks. Overall, I highly recommend this pizza shop! read more

Nice pizza! The location is very convenient. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. This is a big plus! I got slices - cheese, pepperoni and my new favorite - Rock Steady. I ordered the MCA pizza. I understand that it's got a bunch of cheese on it BUT I ordered it 'crispy'.... The ginormous pizza was delivered hot. However.... The crust was soggy and greasy. I took a bite and was hoping I wouldn't regret it in an hour. If you can't make a pizza the way people want, then don't sell it... it doesn't belong on the menu. This is Hospitality 101... We came for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. First time at this location, less packed and much cleaner than the original one. Ordered a half and half and it was still delicious as the other location. Surprised with the bad reviews. Everyone was super friendly. Dropped in here for a weekday lunch special with my son. We sat outside on their very charming patio that is covered, which makes it very good for weather. During the weekday they have an awesome special that is a slice of pizza a drink and a half salad for $11 the Caesar salad is absolutely phenomenal with shaved Parmesan cheese And the dressing is just divine. This location new york style pizza is cooked a little differently than the other locations. Its like it's a little undercooked the bottom crust is too thin too be soggy. The crust is supposed to have a crispy bottom. The full pizzas are massive! Less busy than the orginal location. I'll take a busy location over sacrificing the integrity of consistency in empire brand! No fountain sodas. The sodas come in a can. They do have good crushed ice next to the water. read more

While we did get our food to go, we had a couple minutes to wait and the staff was friendly and the place was spotless. The pizza was delicious as always and the pink sauce brings me back every time. The Caesar salad was fresh and plenty to share. The uncle Buck was a good change of place from pepperoni and cheese. read more

Unlike many modern pizza joints, this one does not offer any lactose free options. As someone who used to enjoy Empire down in plaza, this new one is just not up to par. First time I went and asked if they could accommodate by using cheese substitute that I brought and they refused- which was not a problem due to health code reasons (understandable I work in a restaurant), so I got a salad (with no dressing because lactose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). They then offered to give me a "kit" that included dough, sauce, etc. so I could make my own pizza at home with lactose free cheese! super great and helpful! Until I called back planning to make my own pizza and they refused. I'm not sure why they told me something and then back tracked, but I will not be visiting again. go to the plaza location instead! I would like to add that its not all bad. The staff is always really nice and they try to accommodate until the higher ups tell them no. Make sure to tip the kind staff if you visit, but beware the higher ups will not accommodate. read more

I visited Oklahoma City to see some old college friends. We had a surprise party with some cake and drinks, but after the party cleared out the three couples that have been friends for almost 30 years decided to hang out for a little while longer and some of us hadn't had supper so we decided to try to find a place to eat, not too many places are open in Oklahoma City at that time of night, but this place was open until 11 PM which gave us about an hour to be able to eat and hang out a little while and catch up with each other lives. The restaurant was clean and there was only a couple of tables taken, so there was plenty of places to sit, immediately we were greeted and explained how the menu worked and how we could get individual slices or a whole pizza. There are several different types of pizzas to choose from. My wife ordered a slice of pepperoni, and my son and I split a pizza. They said it would be a little while to cook the pizza so we also ordered some loaded garlic Knots with the jalapeños on the side. The girl at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful even though we were unintentionally making it difficult by special ordering our foods. The drinks are available as cans so my wife got a can of Coke my son and I got waters. The water is dispensed in a separate fountain light contraption with ice on one side and water on the other. The food was average at best maybe three stars at the most. The pizza was very bland tasting, and even the garlic nuts were fairly bland. Maybe I'll order ranch next time if I go backbut the pizza itself left a lot to be desired for all three of us. But the service was awesome and it would make me want to return if I needed a late night spot to grab a meal. read more

It's my favorite pizza place in the Metro and I am usually very pleased with my experience, however, at this location specifically, I have had a bad experience the past two times I have ordered a pizza. I wasn't even able to eat the pizza due to the crust being CHARRED throughout the entire bottom of the pizza. Not a good look when the pizza is fairly expensive compared to other places. Check your receipts! I went and ordered 2 slices of pizza to go. Right before the pizza was given to me, I looked at my receipt and noticed something called a "Supply Fee" of $1.00. I asked about the fee. The girl who handed me my pizza (I think she was a manager) told me the charge was for the box my pizza was in. Absolutely infuriated me. She offered to remove the fee on my next visit, which I felt was insulting. She also explained it was to help keep prices down, which is a crap statement within itself. It's not about the dollar. It's about principle. They're sneaking in fees without telling about it. Any thing you're charged for should be explained, or at least be on the menu. I'll never go back. read more

Their Caesar salad is pretty good too but at the slice shop your dressing comes on the side and you have to mix it up yourself. I have always loved Empire Slice but this newest location is not on point! I have always had a great experience and pizza but I went to try the new spot as it is closer to my house, but it was not the same! Pizza presentation was terrible and half the toppings were falling off the pizza. Looked sloppy and it was just mediocre this time. If I wanted mediocre, I should have just gone to Dominos. I think I'll stick to the Nichols Hills or Plaza locations unless they can get it together. read more
