One of them never got back to me (likely did not want to deal with someone's mess, which I completely understand). King was relatable, reasonable, and knowledgeable so I decided to take my chances here. Turns out, King is a Porsche guy through and through and I knew as soon as I met him that my car will be in good hands. He took pictures of the work throughout the process. The Tech (Matt) was able to fix all my mess. I can tell these guys enjoy what they do, very knowledgeable, honest provides great customer care, and very reasonably priced. Best of all, I was fully expecting to Uber back and forth but they offered me a free loaner car as well (Porsche Cayenne). Beyond an oil change, no more DIY on this car and I'm now a forever Redline customer as long as I own a Porsche.

I was upfront with Andy that I wouldn't be replacing the engine since it wasn't financially worthwhile for me. He seemed understanding and agreed to help identify the exact issue, which I appreciated. Andy later confirmed that the cylinder was scored and that replacement was really the only viable path forward. I paid him $200 for the diagnostic, and we both agreed it made sense to sell the car rather than invest thousands into repairs. However, when the car was returned to me, it was in worse shape than when I dropped it off. The spark plug was left out on the windshield, screws for the ignition coils and engine cover were missing, and a plastic engine undercover was tossed into the back seat--completely detached. I had no idea where it came from or how to reinstall it. I informed Andy about this, expecting at least a basic apology or acknowledgement, but he claimed that's how he received the car, which is blatantly false. I was standing right next to him when the car arrived at his shop--everything was intact under the hood. What became clear is this: if you're not prepared to spend thousands at Andy's shop, don't expect any degree of professionalism or care. He essentially deemed the car junk and returned it like junk--half-disassembled, unprotected, and with missing parts left wherever convenient. I initially thought Andy was just a little eccentric, but unfortunately, he proved to be careless, dismissive, and disrespectful of my time and property. Bottom line: If your car needs serious repairs and you're ready to spend big, maybe Andy will treat you decently. But if you're looking for a straightforward diagnostic or modest assistance, don't expect respect, accuracy, or even the courtesy of putting your car back together.
