For a buffet they have a great variety. You can be sure you'll find something everyone can enjoy. I think because it's a big variety nothing is hugely amazing. It gives a home/cooked feel. There is a great amount of dining space. I went on a very busy day and there was still plenty of seating upstairs.

Salad plate and brussel sprouts... so good!!

My family and I decided to stop in at Emzara's during our day at the Ark. my husband and son sat here for more than 2 hours while my daughter and I went on the zip line and my son had some work meetings he needed to attend. No one said they couldn't or had to leave. By the time my daughter and I joined them and we all went down for lunch this place was PACKED!! Especially on the bottom floor which is close to the bathrooms and buffet but I recommended trying the top floor for a little more quiet. Seems like most people stay on the bottom. Tips: get two plates when you get in line and grab EVERYTHING you want on your first visit. Why? Because if you get your salad first then come back for meat and sides, you have to start all over at the back of the line. Now they do a really good job with the layout of the buffet and getting people through but it's still quite a line. So just get it all in one go and come back for dessert. Unless, like us, you skip dessert for Uncle Leroy's Fudge and Kezia's ice cream. Also, try the brussel sprouts! Best I've ever had!! Hands down!! Oh and don't turn your nose up at it because it's a buffet. It's actually really good food! I'm giving 5 stars because in spite of the shear number of people the served in a short time, the food was fresh, hot, and tasty, the venue was clean, the ambiance spot on, the service friendly, and there were a lot of food options! Sure to please everyone!

They had a wild range of food and it was hot and fresh. We ate after touring the arc and doing the zoo area which was about 4 and they closed at 5. I noticed the food wasn't kept full and seem like once things went empty they didn't replace it so i would recommend going around 12 or 1 not 4 like us.

** Kind Service ** ** Clean ** ** Convenient ** With enormous amounts of people and huge group numbers, a buffet is a no brainer. The line to get in wrapped around the building but it kept moving. The options were not the greatest but I can say the fried chicken was very tasty. Also try their pudding, it was fantastic! My only gripe would be the styrofoam plates, not great for the environment and was not great for carrying food. It may be that these were not their normal plates because I saw a few different varieties brought out. There are tons of employees working here and that was very cool to see. The place was spotless except for the drinks section, that was chaos. Our experience was good all and all.

Large variety of food, all well prepared. The night I went they ran out of 3 of the hot entrees, and they weren't refilled. Still, there we plenty of other choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were constantly cleaning!!!! You never saw any food or waste on the floor or tables. I never saw a buffet that was so immaculately clean before. Normally I avoid them for fear of not being kept up, but this one was the exception! Staff was sweeping and quilting everything down. Always cleaning!!!! I felt very confident the restaurant and food was fresh and clean, and safely prepared.

We chose El Jalisco because it was close to our hotel and my mom was craving Mexican food…read more I'll start by saying that I live in California and eat Mexican food pretty regularly, so I may have higher expectations than some. The restaurant itself is bright and colorful, with vibrant tables, chairs, and decorations throughout. It definitely has a fun atmosphere. I ordered the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas, and my mom ordered what she thought was a simple cheese enchilada with a side of rice and beans. Somehow there was a communication mix-up because she ended up with three large plates: one piled with rice, one piled with beans, and a third with the enchilada. It gave us a good laugh. My fajitas looked great when they arrived, but unfortunately they were missing the one thing I was hoping for: flavor. The chicken and vegetables were cooked properly, but there didn't seem to be much seasoning at all. Not even enough salt to bring everything together. The corn tortillas were also torn apart when they arrived, so they weren't very usable. I hate leaving negative reviews, but the food simply didn't live up to expectations. The service was fine and the atmosphere was fun, but the meal itself fell flat for me. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but based on this visit, I wouldn't choose to return.

Not this time. We came around 11ish so we could get breakfast or lunch. We were undecided as to which meal we wanted so Mom and I got both menus. They're in the middle of a big push for their hash brown casserole and that is A-OK with me. This Cracker Barrel also has a Mimosas! And like a whole wine list! I've never seen that before. But being with Mom and all that... I stuck to unsweetened tea. We placed our orders. And waited. 25 minutes at a Cracker Barrel is not what you expect. We did finally get our food and it was just... ok. The hash brown casserole breakfast was ok but after a while, it's just too much. My mom's bacon and eggs weren't very good at all. The eggs had a strange texture and the bacon wasn't really edible. Even the coffee wasn't great. Cracker Barrel isn't generally delicious... but at least it's reliable. This location was a bit of a letdown.

This is the very definition of a Local hole in the wall…read more When you walk in the place is very unassuming. The floors are bare, polished concrete which has seen 100 years or more of changes and scarring. The seating is very basic. Everything is kept up well and clean. Despite this the place was packed! We were actually surprised as the stores were all closed and there wasn't much going on in town at that time. It was a good menu for a barbecue joint. We both ordered the chicken and ribs. Before I get into the food, I just want to add that the timing was good all around. We were sat immediately. Our waitress took our order and was very attentive. And even the food came out in a timely fashion. Now on to the food. We both enjoyed the chicken and everything else that was on our plates. For me what made my night was the ribs. I'm not a person who likes a sweet sauce on their ribs. For my taste, these were the best ribs that I have had in a very, very long time. The sauce made the ribs for me. We were both well satisfied with our meals. In short, it's nothing fancy. But the food is delicious and they do what they do well. I would definitely return if I was in the area again. And yes, I would recommend giving them a try.

We sat mostly on the front patio with a table or two inside later in the evening. Everyone ordered their own food and drinks. Adam and his bar staff took great care of us. They got the first rounds of drinks taken care of then took food orders. The deviled eggs were popular, plentiful, and delicious. I got the fried chicken (again) with a side of real mashed potatoes and gravy. It was fantastic (again). I really should try something else sometime. But others did and I heard no complaints. They serve breakfast any time and a couple got omelettes and cleaned their plates, raving about the hashbrowns (no meat fat to cook, so vegetarian friendly). All the cocktails were good. New seasonal menu had just started and the Marmalade Sour got good reviews. They have a larger patio out back and an ample dining room. It's a great stop when in Georgetown. Pics from my last visit but still accurate.
