My wife & I had a rare night away from the kids so we decided to finally check out Enchanted Escape Room which we have been passing in our car for years now. First, off, It's not immediately obvious where to go. There's a tiny door in the back of the building with their logo. You need a code to unlock the door (it'll be on the confirmation email for your room) and then you have to climb up 2 flights of stairs & go through some hallways to get there. You'll even walk through a little themed outside patio area before you get in to the lobby. It was just odd. Luckily we came on an off day because even though we were booked for 9pm, we got there around 8:40p and they got us up and running right away. We did the Enchanted Forest room. I'm not going to go in to any puzzles, but I will say the room as a whole could use a face lift. One thing I will say is that I spent over 5 minutes trying to figure out a puzzle (I knew it was one because there was an item box above it & I could see something nearby was missing something) only to find out after the room had finished that it was broken & they don't use it anymore. I really wish they had marked it as not part of the room/not a puzzle like several other items in the room were. It would've saved us lots of precious time. I would also say they need to either not have or turn down the ambient song they play on loop the whole hour. It's annoying & also loud to the point where we had to listen to some auditory clues several times just to figure out what was being said. When you're in a timed environment, little things like this add up. We actually opened up the final door & before we could bring something back to the main door to 'escape,' the timer went off. I am certain that had we not had that broken puzzle or sound issues we would've gotten outta the room with a minute or two to spare. I will say the puzzles were fun. My wife and I definitely did enjoy our time. We just felt like if it was cleaned up/fixed a little bit it would've been a whole lot better. In the end, I'm glad there's this escape room and it could be a fun first escape room experience. But I also feel like there are a bit better options around if you're willing to drive a little bit.

Enchanted Escape room was a great experience! We did the first chapter and it was very fun (they can be played out of order but recommend going in order)! The room was very immersive, enjoyable, and appropriate in difficulty (medium). We had a party of 2 and it was challenging! We've done a lot of escape rooms before and the puzzles in here were thematic and exciting! Never felt like we were lost without a way forward. I recommend this place a lot!! Give it a go. Staff is very friendly and made this experience more enjoyable.

My Friend & I just recently went to Enchanted this past Saturday and we had a ball! Our gamemaster Marcus was great, he was attentive & helpful & had to get a kick out of us because we were psyched to conquer the room! lol. We loved the storyline & how it weaves through all their rooms. The room we were in started dark & i really like that aspect. I've never done a dark escape room. We did really good for our first time together, we only had 5 puzzles left. We're definitely making Enchanted a thing & will be back asap!

Super fun! Very kind gamemaster and plenty to do. We played spellbound and the decorations were very immersive and cool

First off, this was my first time playing at this escape room place; I was impressed by the set design of the room we played. We played spellbound and it was super fun and the gameplay was great! The room itself was non-liner. My game master Valerie was amazing and very informative which helped us get through the room without having to many hints! I would definitely recommend coming to this location and playing their rooms! I will definitely be back too!

    Are there live actors?

    No there are not.

Is it good for an 8year old?

I would suggest that you phone them and see if they have kid-friendly escape rooms. You are put in a room (with a theme) and you have to figure out clues at a fast pace with the 8 people you are with. Figuring out the clues to unlock other clues…

We did the basement. This is the first time we've ever done an escape room so I had no idea what to escape. I don't wanna spoil too much BUT this was absolutely one of the best times I've ever had. The couple duo (Darryl and Erica) build all their props and puzzles in-house. They offer four rooms by the time I am writing this review and each room feels thoughtfully designed and distinct. Our team did three of their four rooms (the fourth room is for the kiddies) and we were blown away. As someone who travels for escape rooms, these rooms are puzzle-forward but it also is not your typical "find the code and open the lock" escape room. I wanted to shout out Skylar, who was our GM for two of the rooms we did. He was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, especially when we wanted to spend more time debriefing the experience and the puzzles we didn't get to see since we divided and conquered. He took the time to answer our questions and asked us about our escape room journey as well! That kind of care and attention really elevates the whole experience. I recommend bringing a group of 3-4. The Key of Destiny could be done by 2 experienced people but the other rooms should have 3 or more people based on the sheer volume of puzzles.

Both the props and puzzle design are done in-house, so you don't get anything generic and as a result, you leave feeling like you had an experience that can't be duplicated anywhere else. The difficulty for all of the rooms has also been fine tuned to ensure that you're getting an optimal amount of puzzles for your dollar, without the games being overwhelming or too short, which is also nice. I also wanted to give thanks to Skylar who was our GM for the past few visits. Skylar was nice enough to work with us on some special requests we had and made us feel at home. I really felt he went out of his way to make us happy and spent a considerable amount of time with us to answer any additional questions we had during our debrief. I am looking forward to the final rooms at this location, they're certainly going to be fun. Keep up the good work!

It's very easy to mess but if you drive slowly, it is literally right next to the building. You turn in and there should be a wellness center on your left. Continue to go forward and turn left and the parking garage is there. It has multiple levels going down. It's typically about $1 for an hour and no they do not validate. There is free parking nearby in another garage but for a dollar to be able to walk up and be right there is much better in my opinion. When you arrive, you call the phone number on the front door and they come unlock the door to let you in the inside. Has multiple VR experiences aside from VR room itself. There are multiple spaces so more than one group could have an experience at the same time. Once you sign the waivers, they take you back to your space that is reserved and put the headsets on for you. After putting on the headset to your timer starts and you start your gaming experience. Pretty easy to understand instructions from the game guide. Just try your best not to walk into any walls and respect the boundaries. It's a lot of fun. Sometimes the airflow is not great so you definitely feel sweaty on your face but other times they'll turn on the fans and it feels good the whole time you're there. Definitely great for less active activity but still very engaging. They don't really explain the game to you and kind of leave you to figure it out on your own, but the games are not super complicated to understand. The game guides are pretty nice and quick to help out with technical issues. You cannot hear other games that are happening at the same time as you. They are there and the space is open, but VR headset quickly muffles out any other sound so it's very easy to focus on your own game. Great place if you don't have anything to do for an hour in the afternoon. And it's so close to the 3rd St Promenade that you can walk over and experience that when you're done. We typically like to walk over to Go Greek on Ocean Avenue afterward for a fun FroYo snack.
