Do not send your loved ones here. This place is filthy, torn sheets, uncaring staff, lack of treatment,... the list goes on. We removed our loved one immediately!!

About 5-6 days into my stay, I decided to go home! I knew I was going to be okay and so the next day, I notified the head administrator I'd be leaving the following day. The same day I was asked to sign discharge papers, and later that evening, during routines, they gave me a 'new' medication that I swallowed without thinking. I went back to my room and my arms and legs started tingling. I went to find a night nurse, snd finally found her in the garage. She was weirdly unresponsive and treated me like I was no longer their patient or responsibility. By then my limbs had turned to rubber. I should have opted to go to the ER rather than ride it out. With Covid starting to hit CA, it was a good thing I didn't go to the hospital. I'd clearly been given someone else's meds that night but they never gave me a straight answer. I was awake all that night and had to cancel my 7am flight. When I finally made it to the airport later the next day, I had to be wheeled out to the gate. When I left Aton they literally sent me home with a plastic shopping bag full of meds they'd prescribed that I'd literally never seen before! I had no idea what all the meds were even for. I still have them! When I originally signed my discharge docs I gave Aton an excellent review. I've regretted giving that positive review for years. I followed up with Aton a month or so after I got home but the administrator or legal expert who called was totally unapologetic and denied ANY & ALL culpability relating to my experience. I would not recommend Aton.

Throughout this time, our experience has consistently been positive. From the moment I began working with their team, the staff at Glenbrook has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care. The nurses and caregivers are attentive, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure each resident's comfort and dignity. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers a warm, welcoming environment. Communication is another standout strength which provides great peace of mind for both families and care partners. In my role, I've also had the opportunity to collaborate closely with their team during residents' transitions back home with caregiving support. Their coordination during these transitions is outstanding, ensuring that residents and their families feel fully prepared and supported every step of the way. All of the families we've assisted following discharge from Glenbrook Health Center consistently share positive feedback about their experience, which further reflects the quality of care provided. What truly sets Glenbrook apart is their personalized approach to care. It's clear that the team takes the time to understand each resident's unique needs and works diligently to create a respectful and supportive environment. I would confidently recommend Glenbrook Health Center to anyone seeking skilled nursing care for a loved one.

Pam was my therapist and I highly recommend her and CORE. Pam (and all the therapists I watched during my 8 weeks of appointments there) were professional, knowledgeable, flexible and adaptive to each patient. They were also very personable--treating each of us as a person, creating a relationship that motivates and makes us comfortable doing the hard work. I was impressed with Pam's ability to almost instantly assess where I was each time, by observation and discussion. Then she adapted my exercises to current needs as well as making sure I was making progress sesson-to-session. Pam really differentiated herself from my experiences elsewhere in her ability to not just tell me how to do an exercise with good form, but why I was doing that exercise. I was also told how everything was working together to meet my goals. The techs were well trained, thorough and personable. Kudos too to the office staff who were always upbeat, efficient and great at figuring out appointments.
