$5 apps from 3-6 is a great deal, and the apps we had were fabulous. We had shrimp cocktail and spicy Thai chicken lettuce wraps. We were not as impressed with our entrees though. I had Dennis's Dinner, a pound of sauteed vegetables with choice of protein. The shrimp was great, but the veggies were drenched in oil, which over powered the fresh veggies. My husband got the classic lobster roll, and again the Mayo was way too much. Our server Nathan was great, and we'll come back for apps, and probably give the entrees another try. We stopped by Endicott Grille the end of February . The food wasnt bad, it was midday on a Friday, there was something wrong with the water though, (don't know if it was their pipes, or some type of contaminant) all of our water had a " floral" taste to it, it didn't seem like a concern to the waitress, as we felt like she took her time to get more water, the 2nd glasses of water still had a floral taste. I wound up emailing the restaurant to let them know, they never responded back, hopefully they fixed the problem. read more

Brought my family to eat dinner, we order one child's meal and one appetizer to start. We then waited 30 minutes without receiving either of those items. We were the only people waiting for food, aside from the many take out orders that came and went without us receiving our food or getting to put our actual order in. Finally we asked the young girl behind the bar about the wait and she replied " I don't know what to tell you I just work here " We were beyond frustrated and it ended up taking an hour and half before we were able to leave. I don't like to do yelp reviews on a place that we've only been to one time. So we decided to try it twice before i did a review. The first time we went was on Saturday night. We got seated right away. And We had really high hopes, the place looked pretty much like it did when it was a Mexican place without the decor. The walls by the kitchen are still painted yellow. But still not bad. Our waitress was nice at first ( sorry not using names ), but the rest of the night she was horrible. I'm a big fan of chicken pot pie and it was on the menu so I asked the waitress if it was any good. She said some people like it but most people don't like it. She said most people complained about the chicken because it taste like there's too much basil and thyme on it. My wife ordered the fish sandwich and I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. We also ordered nachos to start with extra cheese. I feel like you can usually judge a place on whether or not they have good nachos. The nachos came and there was very little cheese. We asked her if it was extra cheese and she said yes. She went on to tell us that the kitchen "hates" her and they been messing up her orders all night on purpose. NO big deal we can handle the nachos having less cheese. The food comes we finish the nachos. The chicken that was on my Caesar salad was clearly the same chicken from the chicken pot pie. It had time and basil on it, maybe rosemary too. By itself or with something else I might taste good but with the chicken Caesar salad it was absolutely disgusting, but,,,,, I can live with that. The place is new(ish). My wife's fish sandwich did not have the spicy tarter sauce on it. We waited literally 10 minutes for the waitress, we asked someone else to get her for us. We asked for the tarter sauce. 5 minutes later she pops up and says they did t have any so they're making more. ( so was there a plan to never give it to us and hope they don't ask for some? I feel like they should have made it before they sent us a sandwich since they knew they were out of it. Even if they had put regular tartar sauce on it we would have been OK. Literally another five minutes goes by and the owner walked by so we grabbed him, his name is He went into the kitchen and came out with spicy tartar sauce. About 30 seconds later the waitress came out with normal tarter sauce. We were pretty much taking the punches. What saved the night is the owner Keith came up to us again and was very kind. Very conversational. To be honest he saved the experience. During our conversation we told him we almost ordered the Steak tips. He got excited and started telling us that they're the best steak tips around. And people constantly tell him that they are better than champions. If you're from Peabody the you No champions and you know that there's there's a giant claim. If you're going to put your steak tips up against champions they better be good. I feel bad because I actually laughed out loud when he said this. We did tell him that we except the challenge and we will be back to try the steak tips. Our drinks went empty a few times and we still tipped 20%. First visit, food was bad, service was bad! Owner was great. At this point my review is too long so I'll try to post a follow up. read more

I was there with a group of about 12-14 people. The food was great--they even had House-made chips. I had the pastrami sandwich and I asked that a slice of cheddar cheese be added. It was delicious. The person to my right had the rib eye steak and enjoyed every bite! The service was excellent. The waitress dealt with a large group with aplomb. She was wonderful. We enjoyed the game of Family Feud. Fun competition. So much so that we are planning a trip back in the near future! read more

Waited 40 mins to get our nachos and then the food came out 2 minutes after. Chicken pot pie was the worst tasting thing I've ever had. Other food was just ok. Waitress was nice, not her fault, but overall not a good experience. Also, almost fell getting out of the booth, the seats aren't bolted down. read more

Homey and laid back atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. Drinks are superb and food is great. Would definitely recommend the crab cakes and homemade chips. Also the chocolate mousse cake is to die for!! Had the opportunity to talk to the head chef and he stated that he hopes to have the whole menu gluten free. Overall, had a great experience here. I reserved an area and brought in a hungry crew from a movie shoot to the Endicott Grill in Danvers. Everyone loved their choices of dinners. I had the steak tips. They were cooked exactly to my specifications and the French Fries are wonderful! Nice attentive bar tender and waiter. Great place for casual dining. read more

Arrived around 7pm on a Friday night after not being able to get in the parking lot of another restaurant that was so busy. Only a handful of other people seated at a table and the bar. Suasage Mac and cheese bites had no macaroni in it, appeared to be more of an arrancini then a Mac and cheese bite. Nachos were a small plate size, 5 of us devoured it quickly. The nachos significantly lacked cheese on them, making it basically chips with sour cream and some diced tomato. Food was bland. Nobody was impressed with their meals. Service was great. Our waitress Alanna, she was friendly, funny and provided our table with a lot of attention. I can't see this place lasting due to the bland food, and lack of patrons. read more

A manager is always on the floor, walking around and interacting with guests. The food is great, tonight I tried the English muffin pizzas off of the late night menu, and they were absolutely delicious!!! We liked it but about 4 months ago this sewer gas smell we think is coming from the bathrooms (the ladies room always smelt bad) is HORRIBLE. Then they spray or use some deodorizer that smells even worse. It's like walking through the perfume counters at Macy's only it smells horrid and settles on your tongue. We just couldn't stay and can't go back. We gave about four try's hoping they would address it, but to no avail. #Stinkybummer. Wow,just no the manager was hammered and not a fun drunk. Went one time it was decent enough. Went back again for dinner and what a difference not for the better. It wasnt very busy the bartender was nice but the manager cuts off the juke box that was being played by 2 of the 3 paying customers there and started playing the most profane music after mak8ng a lame crack about the music that was playing. Wouldn't recommend this place... The one star rating is solely based on the entertainment provided. Scene: Arrived at 8pm on a Saturday night - party of three adults and two kids. One other four top in the place and maybe three people at the bar. Server got cut after entrees (no biggie at all) were ordered and handed us off to bartender. Ordered a martini off the specialty drink menu that took ten minutes to get to me and it came out as a mixed drink... Appetizer (nachos) took 25 minutes and came out cold. Guacamole had a dark green outer layer. I didn't order an entree after seeing the nachos but hubby ordered a medium rare burger that took 45 minutes and came out a hockey puck. We had been there for so long that my husband didn't even bother sending it back and left it on the plate. When bartender came back to pick it up he didn't ask why it wasn't touched or acknowledge how long we waited for everything. It was probably because he was too busy fighting with the one other table in the place that consisted of the Golden girls gone wild (i'm not kidding none of these women were below the age of 70). Even more embarrassing is That he could not de-escalate the situation himself and decided to get Danvers PD involved. While waiting for the police he made sure to continue to yell at them... Danvers PD showed up threw 'Blanche' and the gang out . Turns out the cops never even needed to come because all they needed were their walkers... We went here on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered the nachos which had oodles of cheese, almost too much but no complaints. I had the onion soup and it was fine, not memorable. That pretty much sums up our entire meal which consisted of a burger and a Caesar salad. The service was adequate but the decor has not changed one iota from the previous incarnations with the exception of the paint when it was a Mexican joint. I was under the impression the restaurant had Keno but it did not. I guess i'm a bit bewildered as to how this place will stand out among the crowd of other options in the immediate area. It's okay but when you're brand new and trying to build a client base, you need a hook and I'm afraid that is lacking at the Endicott Grille. read more

This place is terrible ! Waited 15 minutes at the bar on a Saturday night... no bartender to be found. Everyone at the bar waiting for a drink or looking to close out. Some serious training needs to take place here. Im sure it will close like all the other places before it have. Place is cursed. Went here last night. The atmosphere was nice. The bar was pretty cool. It seemed like a local spot for people in the area. Also had a bit of a sports bar feel. The service was good. Good selection of beer on tap and the specials were a nice selection and reasonably priced. The only thing I noticed that seemed odd was, it wasn't crowded for a Saturday night. Had dinner here for the first time tonight after reading other positive posted reviews. Our experience and meals were excellent. Forgot to take pictures of our meals though. There was a good crowd at the bar and in the eating area. Lots of well-placed TVs to view sporting events. We arrived for dinner around 6:00 pm; greeted and seated immediately by the owner. I always think highly of an establishment when the owner/manager work a Saturday night. We were told our server would be Kristy. She arrived momentarily and took our beverage order. Drinks were served immediately. My husband ordered the fried haddock/french fry dinner. His piece of haddock was over half the size of the dish! Lightly battered; falling apart as he ate. French fires were also a hit (he finished most of them; concentrating on the Haddock). I have several, severe food allergies (shellfish, all nuts, tomatoes and strawberries). Trying a new restaurant is always a leap of faith for me. Kristy wrote down all my allergies. I ordered the Chicken Piccata without capers (nasty items) over linguine. My back-up order was the Swiss-Mushroom burger with mashed potatoes. She conferred with the chef regarding my allergies. All was a go for the Chicken Piccata minus Capers; it was delicious. The portion was large enough for me to take home a doggie-bag. We will definitely be returning to the Endicott Grille. read more

I can't even give it any stars .. i never complain about anything at any restaurants especially now during covid I give everyone a fair chance , but the manager at this establishment is so bad and mean to his customers it is not even funny. First let me say the service is the worst I have ever seen. You will always wait at least 45 minutes for a drink food much longer at least an hour and if you say anything the manager wants to start a fight with you. You ask for your bill and always get extra items tacked on and god forbid you say something. He threatened to call the cops I think maybe the attorney general should be told about this place. I think he is trying to steal from his customers by tacking on extra items to your bill Many people have complained about this happening to them Well he did it ye tonight smd I questioned the bill and he threw me out What kind of manager does that Really bad service and bad food and tack on a manager who only wants to fight makes for a bad situation for all. Wanted to try Endicott Grill today (Sunday Aug 25) after seeing mixed reviews. Went with two other friends. Got there at two, not busy. Food took longer than I thought to come out but no problem we were in no hurry. Worth the wait for two baked haddock dinners with mixed vegetables and rice pilaf, generous portion. I decided on the hot buttered lobster roll with fries and coleslaw, generous portion. All the meals came out hot. We saved room for dessert, chocolate mousse cake for two of us and two scoops of vanilla ice cream for our other friend. I would go back. Super friendly, reasonably priced, relaxed atmosphere. The chicken piccata was perfect - light and tender. Burgers: amazing! Four different sports on tv, but you can have a conversation without shouting. Dennis, the manager is the most unprofessional and rude person! He is confrontational about everything. It takes an hour to get a meal, then it is either wrong or cold. That's if you actually get your meal. A friend and her boyfriend were thrown out because she explained nicely to the waitress that her food was over cooked. She sent it back and Dennis refused to replace or take it off the bill and he caused a scene at the table. Last night, several other people were thrown out by him. They waited an hour for their food, then it came out cold. They sent it back. He went to pay the bill and they charged him for the meals. The bill is ALWAYS wrong then he accuses you of wanting a free meal. My two friends paid their bills in cash a couple of weeks ago. Their meals and drinks were on our bill too. When we addressed it, Dennis became belligerent. This was the fourth time that happened to us. He blames it on the customers. We only went there to support our friends who were playing music. Well, it's not horrible, but it's certainly not very inviting. It looks like a slightly more updated Ground Round or other '80 super chain. We stopped in for a cocktail; a gin and tonic and an old fashioned. Bartender didn't know what gins they had and when I ordered an old fashioned he asked if I wanted bitters.... never heard of a bittersless old fashioned. So just like everything else that has been here.. it won't last..and here's why.. 1. Was barely greeted by the bartender once we choose a seat at the bar. Were given menus, then he disappeared. When another woman, didn't get her name, glasses and black hair, very nice, took our drink order. However, wish we were told before hand that the drink was more of a float.. not a blended beverage. Still wasn't bad but disappointing when we thought something else. 2. The bartender was sick and couldn't stop clearing his throat and coughing.. go home, you're sick, no one wants the plates or drinks you're going to serve them. 3. The nachos came out missing the chicken. When they were brought back out, the chicken tasted like boiled chicken then, thrown in a pan with pepper and tossed on the nachos, All 9 pieces of chicken.. And instead of just making "new" nachos, they scooped the sour cream and guac off and tossed them then back in the oven. This you could tell because the sour cream at the bottom of the scoop was chunky, hot and nasty.. Honestly, shredded chicken or small diced chicken would have been better. 4. The "seasoned fries" we ordered were seasoned with nothing more than salt and pepper.. Very disappointed.. When you think of seasoned fries and fries I've had else where, they're seasoned with something else a little spicy.. not just... Salt.. and pepper... But again, the waitress we had was very nice and it would have great potential, they just need to step it up. read more

Not terrible but not worth the 45 minute wait. Waiting for food when you're hungry is no fun. At least they could have put bread and oil or something to munch on. I had good and not so good points. Good was the atmosphere. Music Bingo in Sunday night was fun and brought back memories of old songs. Perfect Martini. Great clam chowder but few clams. The taste was very good . The areas that need work were the Chicken Piccata was tender but floating in water from the pasta . Little butter flavor. Chicken was juicy and plenty of it but could have had a better outer crisp. The bartender never asked if our meals were ok and left a dessert menu but never asked if we wanted to order. It was not busy after Bingo so I was surprised. I am hopeful that a little effort on details and this place will be a gem. I will be going back and try other dishes. I hope it makes it. At best all I can give this place is a three and that's stretching it. While the food was good and editable the service was terrible. We just sat at the bar and it didn't take long to realize that neither of the girls behind the bar had ever worked a bar before. People waited way to long for service and we observed it took both of them to continuous make one drink one of the bar tenders even had to constantly look at the way to make a certain drink several times while making it. Biggest thing neither bartender not once ever "scanned" the bar to see what the customers wanted/needed their eyes were always looking down or searching for the particular liquor they needed to make a certain drink. While I understand new bartenders need to be trained you certainly do not decide to do that on a Friday night across from a mall during the busy Christmas season. Basic stuff such as after we finally ordered and got our food someone coming by and asking if everything was ok seemed like a foreign concept to these people. I may go back and give it a second chance but if it fails then I for one will never return. read more
