This is an update from my review back in 2014. It is still a great welcoming bike shop ten years later even with the minor adjustments to ownership of the shop. As I age, nice to see I now can get an e-bike here to cope with Westchester's steep hills. Loving the new cargo e-bike I bought recently. It is turning into a car-replacer. The shop's location is fantastic, smack in the center of the Rivertowns on Dobbs' Main Street and very close to the Aqueduct Trail, Bee Line Bus stops (buses now all have bike racks on them), and the MetroNorth station. More on-street parking spaces seem to be available since Dobbs made some changes to pricing and rules, plus there is a municipal lot around the corner and Dobbs even installed some on-street bike parking. The location really helps with the killing time during a repair. Depending on how busy they are, I can get a coffee, lunch or swing by the hardware store or some of the new shops downtown or even hang in the Library across the street which has a nice view of the Palisades. Or if it is going to need an overnight or two stay, I can hop on the pretty-frequent for the suburbs bus to get home. read more

The guys here are the best!! They put my bike together and realized a problem right away in which I had to contact the manufacturer (I bought this bike online) to get a new part since it was still under warranty. They offered their contact info so the manufacturer could speak to them directly if needed or had any questions. They put the new part on right away once it was received -- it was shipped directly to them (another courtesy they offered me) and had it ready for me first thing next day. I have nothing but great things to say about Endless Trail. Everyone is super helpful and there are no hard sells. Most recently I thought I needed a new tire but all that was necessary was a quick check and enough air. Highly recommend. read more

Amazing service & a solid selection of bikes that are appropriate for our local endless trials!

Came in to look at a bike for myself. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted etc and the guy working helped us as soon as he was done with another customer. He showed me one bike and insisted it was the best bike for me and my purposes (maybe- there are many bikes in this world and this happened to be the most expensive of the ones I was looking at.) This guy, the coowner I believe, was very friendly and I think wanted to be helpful but the whole experience was weird. He kept trying to upsell us on everything, even though my internet research said yes, this was going to be expensive, but I don't have to have the best of the best to ride around my neighborhood and I'm not a "great" cyclist or anything. (Also, the other person working there had a total attitude and every time the person helping us asking him anything about what we wanted to know he had an attitude and walked away as soon as he could. Maybe he was busy, but that's unpleasant.) This place seems very polarizing as the reviewers are either 1 star or 5 stars. Overall I would say I had an OK experience and it's worth at least stopping by if you're in the market to buy, rent or repair a bike, but I would compare shops before making this my "place". read more

If I could give 0 stars or negative stars, I would give that, but 1 star is the lowest I can give. I will NEVER go back there again and I suggest you avoid it too. Unless you are a SERIOUS CYCLIST, AVOID Endless Trail Bikeworx in Dobbs Ferry, NY! They are absolute CYCLING SNOBS and HAVE NO TIME for RECREATIONAL CYCLISTS. This is especially true for CO-OWNER DAN FUCCELLA. He is the reason I will NOT go back. DAN FUCCELLA treated me horribly both times I went to Endless Trail Bikeworx. It's located in Dobbs Ferry, NY, which is small, friendly village. This is the wrong location for Endless Trail Bikeworx, because DAN FUCCELLA is not friendly if he does NOT believe you are worthy of being treated well. This means, if you are not a serious cyclist like him, DAN FUCCELLA is going to treat you like garbage, as he did me, and as I saw him treat others similar to me. There's an expression "No job is too big or too small." This is NOT the case for Endless Trail Bikeworx. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I starting riding my older road bike again. I went here twice (June & July 2020) for some repairs and to have them do a tune up. 1st visit: * Covid-19: Sign on door says you can't enter without a mask and gloves. Complete BS, they do NOT wear or require * Changed 1 tube on my road bike * I asked them if I could make appointment to tune up my older road bike and they refused, saying "it was not worth their time." * They told me I should buy better tires to ride on the Aqueduct and said just the tires, would cost $50 each * While sitting there, I find the exact tires for $38 each and ordered them to be delivered to my home * I asked them if I could pay them to help me secure my light and phone holder on the handlebars better than I had done and they refused * I saw a flyer near the cash register about the band that co-owner DAN FUCCELLA is in. To be friendly, I spoke Dan about the band he is in The B Side Band. This was the only time he was something close to halfway nice. * When I came home, discovered both tire valve stem caps were missing from my tires, which was strange, because only 1 tube was changed 2nd visit * I called and spoke to co-owner DAN FUCCELLA ahead of time about them changing the tires on my road bike * I asked if I could drop my bike off and pick it up later * Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA said "ABSOLUTELY NOT! I DON'T WANT YOUR BIKE IN HERE TAKING UP SPACE FOR SUCH A SMALL JOB! I DON'T HAVE ROOM FOR IT! * Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA said I will have to bring in my bike and wait for it * Amazingly, despite being treated so badly, I will went there and had them change my tires to the ones I had bought online for $12 less each than the price co-owner DAN FUCCELLA had quoted me * I came by the store and co-owner DAN FUCCELLA and asked if they could change my tires, and he almost turned me down (was shaking his head and looking at his watch) until I said "I went to a lot of trouble to put the bike in the car." * Dan told me to bring the bike in. * Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA did not remember me from a week before, despite me talking to him about his band, etc. It was like we were meeting for the first time! * Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA took the bike and told me I had to "get out" of the store and could not wait in the store * Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA took my number and called me when the bike was ready. * When I returned, a fellow cycling snob (a serious cyclist customer) was in the store. With my glasses all fogged up from the rain, I thought he was someone else who worked there and greeted the customer by the wrong name. The customer did not answer. * I paid for the service done on my bike * I was looking at the accessories on the wall, thinking I might want to buy a light for bike or something else * Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA wanted me out of the store since I had already paid for the service, even though I twas considering buying something else. He said to me "You know someone else is waiting to look at what you are looking at?" I reminded Dan that he kicked me out of the store while I my bike was being service when the store was empty, so this was my turn to shop and the person behind my would have to wait. * I spotted a very old (much older than my road bike) Schwinn RECREATIONAL bike with a tag on it), and asked co-owner DAN FUCCELLA what the story was with the old Schwinn. He told me someone brought it in to be tuned up and they did it for them. * Surprised, I asked why they did this MUCH OLDER bike and REFUSED to tune up my NEWER road bike. Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA said "I don't remember." * I reminded him that he told "It is not worth our time" and I asked him again why the Schwinn was worth their time but my bike was not? * Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA was getting even more angry because it was clear that his poor treatment had been exposed, and he had no answer for it. I will NEVER go back there again, because of Co-owner DAN FUCCELLA and I suggest you avoid it too. read more

Needed to get brakes replaced brought to Hastings on Hudson.they looked over the bike and said I would need to leave and maybe in one week have it repaired although they said 1-2 days over the phone. They also suggested whole new hydraulic brake system although my brakes are hydraulic. I left in disgust and went to dobbs ferry Endless Trail Bikeworx were great to go to. They looked and said my brake pads needed replacement. When I asked how long they said we'll work on it now. In 15 minutes the bike was repaired and works great. Endless Trail Bikeworx is amazing!!! Great service and great owners with a heart of gold! Brought in my just purchased yard sale bike with the thought that I would have to drop it off for a tune up. They offered to fix it up on the spot!! Stayed for 20 min while one of the owners chatted with me and before I knew it the bike was in tip top shape and ready to go! It came in limping with gears broken and loose cables and came out looking pretty close to new! When they learned that the bike was for my son, who has autism and who has been practicing to use a "big boy bike" for a long time, they gave me the service as a present for him. Could not thank them enough! Never thought my son would be able to try the bike out that day! Was a special present for a special kid! Bike Rental Review. Called the owner the night before, who let me know that he didnt have the ideal size bikes for my friend and I. We agreed on a 'good enough' size, when I said we really weren't picky. The morning of he was pleasant, walked us through the gearing, helmets included in the price, and pointed us on our way. I had some trouble with the chain on one bike, but overall a great day. Would recommend. read more

Just all around good guys with a good business. I've bought 3 or 4 bikes off them over the years and have to go for another one for my 16 year old soon. Always helpful, stand behind their product, if something needs an adjustment it's no big deal to the guys. Like I said good guys who've been here forever, as long as I've been in Dobbs Ferry at least. The kids that they have working there are good guys too. Always respectful and eager to help out. A few weeks ago I was riding with a friend and I caught a flat. We both tried to replace the tube but had no luck. We decided to try and find the nearest bike shop to see what we can do. My friend rode her bike to the shop and then they actually sent a pickup truck to get me, I was so surprised. It was amazing. I was brought back to the shop and while they helped me, we had a nice conversation with the owner. I called this morning to inquire if there were any bikes available for rental. The owner, Dan answered the phone. He clearly was with customers--I understand that. However, he was brusque and rude and clearly forgot that the person on the other end of the phone was also a customer. I get that he needed to attend to customers in his store--no problem. I was looking to rent a bike in Westchester near a trail, and I came across this place. The person who helped me (maybe an owner) made sure the bike fit me before I headed out on the old aqueduct. He even took the bike for a test drive when I ended my rental and mentioned that I thought something was amiss with the gears. (I wanted to make sure the bike was in good condition for the next renter and it seemed like he shared the same ethos.) The shop also accepts Apple Pay, which, of course, isn't a deal breaker but certainly a plus. Highly recommend and would return. read more

Brought my 25 year old Specialized hybrid to see if it's worth saving. Rather selling me a new bike, Jason helped me restore it and even searched for a front suspension fork that would work with it. I dropped my bike off two weeks ago for a tune up because the bike had been in storage for ten years. I chose this place because they are an authorized Giant seller and my bike is a Giant. When I picked up the bike I was surprised to learn that the price for the tune up was $35 instead of their normal $65. When I asked why the lower price I was told that there wasn't much that needed to be done. Now I know why there wasn't much that needed to be done: THEY DIDN'T DO A DAMN THING!! I take that back, there appears to be evidence that the chain was lubricated, but I'm not 100% certain of that. I had to go back a week later because the front brakes were still rubbing against the tire rim. The repairman said the problem was that the brake was bent. I saw no evidence of this. They made the adjustment at no additional charge. Suffice it to say, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I met Jason awhile ago and every time I go into he's shop with his partner Dan. they can never do enough to help. They are very knowledgeable and understanding. They carry a good amount of different type of bikes that are reasonably price as I shop the other bike shops. It's a lay back attitude without the pressure of selling you something. They offer guidance toward bike riding. If you interested they even plan rides for all different level of road or mountain biking, which I have done. Their prices are very reasonable and more importantly every job that they have done on my bike has taken care of the issue. read more
