WORST EXPERIENCE getting tattooed. I went to Miryam for a full back piece. Came in with a completely blank canvas. Both of my sessions were totally unprofessional. Her and her bf known as "T" another artist there were drinking tequila and doing cocaine the entirety of my session. I know because they actually offered me some towards the end. She was slurring all her words falling all over the place and when I looked at my back she had colored in ALL the wrong parts of my two tigers. Including making the tigers iris black INSTEAD OF THE PUPIL that's on my shoulder, and coloring in the wrong stripes on the tigers face on the bottom. It's so dark it looks like a cover up. I wanted it to be a full color piece and it literally looks like someone did it on drugs (because they did). I paid $4,000 upfront for this totally messed up piece and am completely unhappy with how it is turning out. I will be reporting this studio and her to the better business bureau. I do not recommend anyone go here as they do not respect their clients in the slightest. I voiced multiple concerns with how it was coming out, and was told to just trust the process. I feel totally disrespected and used, and I will never be back here again. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE. There are other artists out there who take pride in what they do, and this shop is TRASH. read more

I scheduled a session with Nessie Blaze. Worth the wait by far! Over 10 hours straight of tattooing. Got there at noon. Started tattooing at 2:45pm. Think we got done around 1:30am. No breaks either, which was my fault lol. Her attention to detail is by far one of, if not, the best I've had from a tattoo artist, & I have over 14 tattoos already. This was the 1st full-color piece I've gotten (& the longest I've ever subjected myself to pain at one given time). I will definitely be coming back for the other full pieces I've been wanting to get done. I'll end with this. You get what you pay for ... & this was was not only worth the wait, for her schedule to be free, but the investment of a permanent piece that I will forever cherish. read more

I just wanted to say this establishment was very professional clean nice and I honestly left with my expectations being overly met. I had been to a piercing place basically ended up giving me my money back because they did such a terrible job and couldn't even remove their own jewelry.. I was literally in their chair, screaming. I went to Thore at enigma, and he was not only kind and patient but able to successfully take out the jewelry without causing me any pain. I didn't want to write a negative review but unfortunately that's what my experience was. It sucks because my tattoo had a deep spiritual meaning and I was initially excited about the project. Bookie was the artist helping me out in which I was excited about but I ended up having my share of challenges. Unfortunately he was late to all appointments. 3 /4 were 1hr late. I also have a couple of cancellations in there as well. All of this was frustrating because I was clearing my hectic work schedule and losing out on money. This is all significant because time on the project was part of a future issue on pricing. Lack of communication also caused more problems than it should have. What really got me is on my first appointment early June I told him I would need it done by August because of my vacation trip. He said no problem but due to all the challenges it wasn't finished. The tattoo was still healing and I couldn't enjoy aspects of my trip because it was planned around the water and I couldn't submerge the chest piece. Initially the tattoo was coming out amazing but towards the end I felt there were some details missing in which I got cleaned up with another artist. read more

Beware! These guys are deposit thieves and the shop operates like a typical tattoo shop with unprofessionalism and no appreciation for their customers nor future clientele. I went in for consultation a while back. I put down a big deposit and scheduled my tattoo date for the following week. During the consultation they acted like everything was coo and that they were going to keep in touch with me for exchanging ideas about the tattoo piece. Several days went by and I received no contact from them. It's like after they got their deposit they switched up on me. So I reached out to see if everything was ok and got no response. Then the nite before my scheduled appointment they hit me up out of nowhere to cancel and offered to reschedule. I still had a bit of faith so I rescheduled. Then the same thing happened again. The only difference this time is they didnt hit me up at all until 3 days after the appointment. I hit them up several times and the day of but didnt get a response back until 3 days after the due date. Then they offered to refund me my deposit. I hit them up dozens of times trying to get my money back and every time they hit me back at least a week or 2 would pass until I got a response. It's been about 2 months now and I still havent gotten my deposit back so now I'll have to sue them in small claims court to get my money back on top of wht I lost due to missing work days on the days that I scheduled with them. Buyers beware! They do ok tattoo work but customer service wise they are trash and turn into a ghost after they get their deposit....so keep this in mind when you put down that deposit or trust them with your next body art/tattoo. read more

We came here to get work done, have Kat help get Tatoo's blended so it all flows organically! Get new pieces done & just take a few sessions and let her get to her craft with the needle! She did an amazing job! She is so good at what she dose... her shop is professional & pleasant! The other staff is positive & fly just like her. It's also private & discrete and it nice to find that in Hollywood! The art of the walls is so beautiful... it's almost like your in an art museum that has Tatoo artist available by appointments only... like some new fly type stuff lol read more

But homey enough so anyone can walk in and get a friendly smile! Now I got my piece from Chonny (specializing in single needle tattoo), who was an ideal choice because I wan't some detailed work. He might look intimidating when you first meet him but as you talk to him while getting a work done. He's a homie and just want what's best for you and will give you what fits the location and size. And one thing I'd like to mention to everyone who gets a tattoo from anyone. Tattoo is one of those rare service where you pay after the service is completely finished and you get to see all the process of the work being done. I've been getting tattoos by Darnell Wayne for a while now and have been to this shop in particular a couple of times. The studio is clean, the vibe of the place is welcoming and all of the artist are very friendly and interested in each other's work. It's a community atmosphere here. I heard someone else say these guys are deposit thieves and I couldn't agree more. I've been tattooed by some very serious artists around the country, multiple states, all ranging in price, I have NEVER had an experience like this. I booked an appointment in July, paid my deposit explained what I wanted. The first appointment was cancelled, because the artist had an emergency. Cool. I rescheduled. I came in for a design session. The artist never sent in a design to approve or show me, even though I asked & gave very specific instructions. Then I went in for the tattoo. The designs were totally off and neither he nor I wanted to move forward, so I offered him a a third opportunity to get it right, I even told him when can move the placement of the tattoo. And then everything went left. They started demanding more money, and kept spinning the date and never confirmed. Finally I asked to cancel, refund and move on. They refused and the women on the email started acting like we were in some kind of Instagram Beef, telling me she had receipts and misusing validity in sentences. Super unprofessional and spot, keep your money go elsewhere. read more

This was such an amazing experience, KatTat has an amazing shop with dope artists and she is so dope, genuine, kind, inspirational, just all great vibes from KatTat and her shop!!!!! It took almost a year for me to write this review because I don't like leaving any business negative reviews. However, I also don't want another innocent customer to be blindsided! I made an appointment via text with Kat's assistant to do what should be a very simple Rose and butterfly on top of a road rash scar I got a year before on my shoulder. I looked up to Kattat and thought her work looked great and was excited. But the NIGHT BEFORE the tattoo was supposed to happen, I'm talking about it was Midnight! Her assistant text me to re-schedule my appointment because Kat's baby's father came in town last minute?!?!??? What kind of professionalism is this! So I didn't make a fuss even though I was shocked lol and I just text back, no problem just give me my $100 deposit back since your canceling last minute and it's all good. Waited about 30min and her assistant text back, disregard Kat will be there to do your Tattoo. At that point, it kind of spoiled my excitement and I thought to myself why is giving my back the $100 deposit I gave you a problem? Obviously you should be able to afford to return it. The vibe I got was now if I cancel, I lose my depoait because she said she would be there. So hesitantly, me & my Fiance went to the appointment. I could tell she didn't want to be there & I whispered to my Fiance maybe I shouldnt do this, she's not going to do a good job on my Tattoo. Which is exactly what hapoened, she did a mediocre at best Tattoo of a rose & butterfly that an amateur Tattoo artist could have done and charged me $1,200 YES $1,200. I couldn't believe my ears. I payed it, because I knew beforehand this would be the outcome but I was praying she wasn't like that! long story short, believe the previous reviews about giving this place a deposit, they do whatever to not return it! Also, very dissapointed in Kat's lack of professionalism to someone that really admired her work & never thought she would treat someone this way & be so money hungry for mediocre work!
