On appointment day, two days later, pleasant greeting upon walking into lobby area. sat no longer than 5 minutes before ushered to an examine room. Staff immediately took xrays and prepped me for the doctor. Dr Gaballa came to introduce himself and explain the procedure about to take place (root canal). Did not waste anytime using numbing gel before injecting novacaine in multiple spots surrounding the tooth in question. Obviously Dr Gaballa used extra amount of novacaine because I literally felt nothing within minutes. Staff was present the whole time during the procedure and very evident they were exceptionally skilled assisting the doctor. I was so relaxed during the procedure that I almost fell asleep! The whole operation lasted less than 45 minutes. I have had two root canals performed previously by two different dentists , while the work they each did was satisfactory Dr. Gaballa and his staff has significantly raised the bar for professionalism and customer service.

Finished my first time patient paperwork and was in the back by 11:30. X-Rays were done and the Dr went over what he saw and answering my dumb questions. She did a great job cleaning and inspecting my teeth. She also gave me feedback on my dental health without a lecture or making me feel like a scum bag. Dr Chan examined my xrays and my teeth. He explained the cavities to me and showed me on my xrays what he was looking at.

He allayed my concerns by informing me that he would administer sufficient numbing of the area. He did and he massaged the area as well. He frequently asked if I was alright and assured me during the process. Surprisingly, I felt no pain or discomfort. I was so calm and relieved during the process. On my follow-up visit, Yessi did a phenomenal job! She removed my temporary crown seamlessly with swift action. She was relentless in assuring that the crown fit correctly allowing for flossing clearance. I loved how she worked. This young lady was quite proficient and professional and did it in record time! My experience was terrific. I highly recommend this practice. The office staff is also very welcoming and attentive. I am very pleased with this practice.

Nothing to be up in arms about, UNTIL I SAW THE XRAYS. JEEBUS LORD. There was a crap root canal done, first of all. Mossy importantly though, there wad this weird, cockeyed SCREW (like, aaaaaan actual SCREW) in the root bed. That was what the enormous and righteously painful abcess had formed around. What the ACTUAL. My new dentist was dumbfounded. Super professional, trying not to speak poorly of a cohort...but he went to explain it and had nothing. I still dislike having my teeth worked on, but knowing that I won't be in pain while i'm having my teeth done is a great comfort. Doctor Granger is calm, gentle, has great chairside manners, and truly cares about how you feel while you're getting your treatments done. He checks in to make sure that you're not in pain while he's working on you. He takes time to answer any questions that you might have before and after the procedure. He is realistic, kind, and does not hurry you along. His office is minimalistic and cozy. The receptionists are always friendly and greet you warmly. His assistants are outstanding, gentle and take the time to get to know you on a personal level. If you're someone with dental anxiety, you can rest assured that Granger and his assistants will be conscious of your fears, will assure you that YOU'RE the one in control and can stop if you're uncomfortable, will provide you with sedation if need be, and will make sure that you're not in any pain.

My only two gripes are the following: 1) I believe I filled out all the forms online before arriving, but those were somehow lost and I had to use their iPad to fill them out again. It took maybe 20 mins in total, and there's a lot of info to provide on your first visit. Maybe check on the online process to see what broke and why my info didn't come through? 2) I think someone may have called out sick that day on their staff, as it appeared that they were double booked throughout the AM. After being seated in the back, I had to wait 20-30 mins for a dental assistant to come back and do my cleaning. It was worth the wait as she did one of the best and most in-depth cleanings of my life, so please give her a raise! That being said, had I known ya'll were double booked in the AM, I might have come in a bit later than scheduled if I knew that morning of the pending delay. That being said, I'd say this place is most definitely where I'm going now that I live in the area. Hands down one of the best dentist offices I've ever been to!

I have been a patient at The Dental Group for over 3 years and unfortunately I can no longer…read morerecommend them after my most recent experience. They do not do well at supporting patients with sensory issues or dental anxiety, or conditions like TMJ that make dental visits difficult. With new patients they are kinder, but with every visit I have made they have become less supportive and less accommodating. My last cleaning was extremely unpleasant and I was shamed into not taking breaks over the course of multiple procedures and fittings even though holding my jaw open causes my TMJ to flare. Then there's the high-pressure upselling. For several years, the dentists and hygienists at this practice have been trying to get me to buy a dental-grade night guard out of pocket, even though I had an over-the-counter one I had been happy with. I finally agreed because they told me it would help my gums and that I would face severe consequences if I did not "make the investment." I had to pay $750 (!!!) out of pocket. When the night guard arrived, it was so bulky and uncomfortable that I could not get a good night's sleep in it and I woke in the morning with severe jaw pain on both sides of my jaw. I went back to have it adjusted and suddenly I was being told that having a night guard means sleeping with your mouth open and accepting dry mouth, that jaw pain often gets worse at first, and that I would have to accept some bad sleep in order to become accustomed to the night guard. I cannot stress enough that this was NOT disclosed to me prior to when I made the purchase. Since the practice knew about my sensory and dental anxiety issues, I feel strongly that they should have talked to me about what the night guard would be like before pushing me to buy it. When I explained the above, the practice offered me only a partial refund, which would mean that I spent hundreds of dollars on nothing. I feel my trust was taken advantage of and I would encourage others to look for a different practice.
