We reserved a small SUV for the weekend and stopped by on a Friday morning to pick it up. The place was busy with customers waiting their turn and others complaining that the special vehicle they booked was not available. We got to pick and choose from different models and went with the Hyundai Kona which had a little over 3000 miles on it. I was surprised how busy these city rental locations get. If you need a specific model my suggestion is going to the airport where they have a bigger fleet of vehicles to choose from. read more

Reserved a "luxury" car through Costco for a week for a road trip. When we arrived, we had to wait for their reps to process the customers ahead of us, which was about a :30 wait. When it was our turn, we were taken through their lot and assigned an Audi A3, since we had to get on the road, we asked their rep to run it through the wash because the car was dirty & make sure the tires were at the proper PSI. Once we drove away, we noticed that the car did not have GPS.... Really? A luxury car without GPS? Upon returning the car a day early, we were informed that we were being billed on a weekly rate so there would NOT be any money refunded due to the early return of the car??? When I asked about the luxury model car that was reserved, A4, BMW 3 series, or similar, I was informed that that's all they had at the time and there's nothing Enterprise would do to compensate for the down grade in vehicle type. ENTERPRISE I know you can do BETTER! I've been renting from you for YEARS and was never let down. The "luxury" car is available in your fleet! Someone got LAZY and didn't want to shuttle a car to this location. By the way management here can care less about the customer.... I waited to post this review to see how the final outcome would be handled...and nobody at this location or corporate has done their part. So here we are... I frequent this particular location quite often for work-related trips and for personal/pleasure. The location is conveniently located near my house and the people have great customer service. However, after my recent trip to Joshua Tree, Enterprise has lost a loyal customer. I went to pick up our rental on Sunday, June 29 (again this location is convenient, which I loved), and the car that I was given had some technical issues, specifically with the air, which the customer who was dropping off noted to the front desk. Mind you, the highest temperature in Joshua Tree for that Monday, June 30 was going to be around 115° & we were scheduled to be in the city for the entire week. I let Hasani, the agent who was checking out my car, know that the guy who'd just dropped the Jeep off said the air was finicky. He checked it, showed me that it worked and I went on my merry. We get to Joshua Tree and the next day the air is not working. At all. Will not come on. Mind you, it is 115°. To keep this brief, I called this branch to see what my options were, was instructed to go to a nearby location to swap out the vehicle due to health safety concerns and go on my way. ( I did all of this, was offered a cargo van after being sent away twice by the JT location & after speaking with corporate who also instructed that location to swap out the vehicle.) Long story short, my boyfriend and I ended up being stuck with this vehicle. We attempted to go out and explore once it got later in the evening, and while we were out, the car legit stopped working in the middle of the freeway. The screens went black and it started making weird noises, so I had to pull off the freeway to avoid a collision. Once I returned the car on my set day, everyone was so apologetic and told me to file a claim through corporate to receive a full refund because I should not have been stuck with this vehicle after the air conditioning debacle. After contacting corporate five times and them "escalating the issue to higher management to get the rental refunded," I finally spoke with someone who said I had to go through the branch to get refunded. The manager at this location, Maria Ramirez, told me there was NOTHING that she could do and pretty much dismissed the situation as if it wasn't serious. Mind you, this has been going on now for a month. The reason I rent from Enterprise is because of the foundation and standards the company prides itself on. The way that everyone from corporate management down to local branch workers at Alhambra and Joshua Tree treated this situation lets me know that you don't value my money or my safety. Driving is already dangerous, and I expect to pay for and receive a reliable vehicle. Yes, things happen, but based on the company's standards, the car should have been swapped and the situation should have been rectified immediately. So, since nobody wants to do their job, I will no longer be utilizing Enterprise rental car. read more

When I first dealt with this enterprise I was offered a vehicle that "was just in a minor accident" or wait for another vehicle. We chose to wait for another vehicle. When that vehicle showed up, it smelled like cigarette smoke. It was disgusting and we had no choice but to take it because we were in a hurry. Upon returning that Sunday night, there was NO parking on their property to drop off the vehicle. We were told to park on the street and buy a parking pass in which we did so. Luckily that was the end of things. However our second visit wasn't so lucky. My second experience, again, I had to park my vehicle on Main Street on Sunday night because their lot was full of vehicles. I purchased a parking pass as well. A few days later I was informed that the vehicle was ticketed because you are not allowed to park on Main Street overnight. In addiction, I was charged a $25 fee. So in total.... I paid $100 ($5 parking pass + $25 fee from enterprise + $70 citation) for parking on Main Street overnight because ENTERPRISE does not have enough parking to accommodate vehicle drop offs. This is wrong that customers should have to foot the bill because ENTERPRISE does not know how to properly move around its vehicle fleet to accommodate vehicle drop offs. If we don't park on Main Street, there is literally no parking in the surrounding neighborhood either because those people living there also park their vehicles on the street. I will NEVER EVER go to this location again. I am very disappointed that the solution set forth by Enterprise is to buy a parking pass if there is no parking on their lot. This is not okay and they know it. Please save your generic copy and paste response. YOU need to talk to your branch directly and solve this issue internally. I am done reaching out. read more

Used this Enterprise location for a pickup and drop-off on 2 separate days within a week for an out-of-town trip. The same staff member took care of us, was very patient and kind. She was young, smiley, had reddish hair, and this was end of June to start of July 2025. Wish I got her name, but she made the overall experience easier for us. We returned after hours from our vacation and were told we could return it early/upon opening the next day so we wouldn't get charged. We did so and the whole process was smooth. Sometimes it can be busy depending on day, hour and time of year. Paeking lot is smaller and choices are limited, however we were given options. Keep in mind, the prices can add up. My experience with Enterprise was honestly one of the most frustrating customer service interactions I've had in a long time. From start to finish, the process felt disorganized, slow, and completely lacking any sense of urgency or professionalism. First, the wait times were excessive. What should have been a quick pickup turned into a long, drawn-out process with little communication about what was causing the delay. It felt like time simply wasn't a priority for the staff. Even more disappointing was the behavior of the employees. Instead of focusing on helping customers efficiently, there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness. At times, staff appeared distracted, chatting among themselves or otherwise disengaged while customers were left waiting. It gave the impression that customer service was not a priority. When I finally did get assistance, the process still wasn't smooth. There was little effort to streamline anything or proactively solve issues--it felt like everything required unnecessary back-and-forth and waiting. Overall, the experience came across as unprofessional and inefficient. Renting a car should be straightforward, but Enterprise made it feel unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. I would strongly recommend improvements in staff training, time management, and overall customer service approach. Midway is the way to go! read more

Beware!!!!!!!!!! I rented a Ford transit van for my family of 7 adults and 4 children for a trip to Grand Canyon for 5 days.The van was picked up late in the afternoon so we can leave early dawn the next morning. En route the van was wiggling, we called the customer service hotline and was instructed to go to Enterprise airport in Flagstaff, AZ (which is out of our way) to exchange the vehicle. When we got to the location, there was no same vehicle available nor even smaller cars to divide the group into two so we could go into our destination. We called Alhambra office again and we were given lists of enterprise locations and try if there is one to accommodate the numbers of passengers, with Las Vegas as our highest chance of getting one. Yes!!! 200+ miles AWAY from our destination... This Enterprise location never made an effort to help us. They left it to us what we wanted to do for ourselves.They have no consideration for our safety, for getting our way just to follow their instructions, the inconvenience, the delays, etc., but most of all THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR LIFE AND SAFETY OF THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! We ended going to Las Vegas, driving 35 miles/hour out of fear that the car might go off the road or might have collision with other cars.On top of it, we had to cancel or postpone all our travel itineraries.It was a vacation gone wrong:( When we returned the car in Alhambra, I asked for at least a discount for all the troubles it has caused us. The supervisor said he will file a claim to the general manager if he can give a conditional discount of $200 PROVIDED I will give a good review after all that happened and was given a 7- day window time to wait for approval. Days passed, I made several calls, left voicemails and they never returned my call. On day 13, I called they said my request is declined and they cannot give any discount but I can appeal to national enterprise office...which I did not. Why? It is not all about money, it's all about how they take care of their customers because it could happen to anyone even their own family member.Also, maybe they will turn me down again too! Just like what they did because all I see now is this dealership just reflects the way this whole company runs its business! Super annoyed with this location. My friends and I reserved an intermediate sized SUV to be picked up at 10am. When we came to pick up the car, it took them an additional 20 minutes to tell us that they didn't have an intermediate sized SUV.  They said they would look for a larger SUV to give us instead which we were fine with. 15 minutes later, they then tell us that they have to grab the car from another Enterprise. At this point it's 11:40AM and they picked up the car but it's not clean. So we wait for it to get cleaned. Finally 20 minutes later we get the car, only for it to be a compact SUV. At this point we were running so late and just dealt with it since it took 2 hours from when the car was supposed to be ready to get the car. Biggest issue with this is that they didn't offer compensation for 1) downgrading the car 2) wasting our time. So we called customer service when we got back and they said they'll call us back to discuss it. They never called us back after a week so we called them again in which they said they'll get back to us soon and the case is open. Another week and still no call back. Would not recommend this location ever again. What a waste of time and money. Literally got scammed. read more

This enterprise is overbooked and does not save enough space in their lot for overnight returns. I booked this service and the lot was full by 9pm on a Sunday night. Alhmabra has a no overnight parking on the main streets and the associates here do not let you know where to park if the lot is full or warn you of this issue. I had asked the associates about how I can make sure I park the van I borrowed on their lot for overnight and they told me only to arrive earlier by 9pm. Not only this, Enterprise will charge you extra for these citations. This is an outrageous way of earning a profit on your customer. Alhambra city police tell me it happens often at this enterprise. Let me tell you so you don't have to go through the trouble. Update:I called enterprise, they said they would give me a one time courtesy fee return and they did not. Reading through the posts there was mention of the manager posting signs. Think they are running scam. read more

Above and beyond. My intention was to rent a RAV4 for one day to see how it felt and to explore all the bells and whistles. Garret helped me reserve the car one week in advance. Pick up was to be April 2. On April 1 I called to speak with Garret to confirm they would have the RAV4. He/they did not call me back the person on the phone sounded somewhat unsure. That gave me a somewhat unsettled night, On April 2 , when I went in, the day I was to have the car at 10AM, there was no RAV4 there. Supposedly it had a flat tire and had to go to the shop, but would be ready at 11:30. So I returned at 11:30, they were still "cleaning it". The wait seemed to be about 15 to 20 minutes. When it came time to walk out to the car, Hassim escorted us. All of the employees at this location are polite, cheerful and positive. Hassim was extremely patient while explaining the bells and whistles and knew how to override the features I don't like. We did the usual walk around with me taking pictures. I was assured that if I had any questions they were there for me. I enjoyed my time with the car. it was a 4 wheel drive hybrid, which is not what I would buy, but I got a chance to interact with the dash and controls. When we returned it Victoria told us about the Enterprise used car features. All in all a positive experience. read more

Rent here for the first time on Sunday. The wait was extremely long. They're short of staff and I didn't feel any rush on their end. I booked at 9am and ended up getting my car around 9:30am. Although there was no problem, I think the insurance was pretty expensive and unexpected that I had to add on the spot. It was half of the car price. I've used this particular Enterprise location twice and had bad experiences both times. The first time I was renting a car and waited over an hour for my car even though I had made my reservation well in advance and was open to other types of cars as long as they were able to fit four people. After that experience I decided to not rent from this location anymore, but I had to do a drop off here because I rented a car at a different location and this is the only Enterprise in the area. When I got my receipt they had made an error and billed me for an extra day. I called the Alhambra location and they confirmed that I returned the car based on the date from my rental agreement, but he said I needed to call the original location where I picked up the car since my contract was with them. I called the original location and they said fixing it was no problem, they just had to send a note to the Alhambra location and that the Alhambra location would contact me to confirm the correction either that day or a day later. I waited two days and received nothing. Here's the part that I'm unhappy about. I called the Alhambra location and after being bounced from one employee to another I was basically told too bad and that I need to call the pick up location. I told him that I already did that and that they told me the Alhambra location would contact me but he basically said he can't help me and that I need to call the original location again. Not knowing what else to do, I called the original location again who said that they would send another note to the Alhambra location to fix the error. I then waited a day and called the Alhambra location again, and spoke to Ceasar who was great by the way. He was friendly and helpful and made the correction on the spot while I was on the phone. I'm not sure why the other employees would not help me when I called the first time. I am not mad about the error, I understand mistakes happen but how can you overcharge someone by $200+ dollars and then tell them too bad instead of fixing it when they literally have the original rental agreement on the computer in front of them? read more
