BE AWARE! I recently rented a car from Enterprise and had a concerning experience upon returning the vehicle. When I brought the car back, the inspector didn't immediately look at it but instead went STRAIGHT back to the office to retrieve a reflection panel and magnifying glass. She then claimed there were hail damages, which were not visible to the naked eye. This inspection is totally a setup. As I didn't encounter hail throughout my rental and the car was in the garage most of the time. My guess is that the car had those minor dents before I picked it up, especially since I initially picked up the car in the dark. And of course, they were not using reflection panel and magnifying glass to examine the care when I picked it up. The process is like a SETUP, as the inspector's method seemed excessive for what are typically normal wear and tear issues not easily visible without special equipment. Overall, this experience left me feeling worried about this store and renting from Enterprise in the future. Husband rented a car online and paid for everything. To my surprise he read the fine print to make sure there were no surprises. SURPRISE! There were. If I could give zero stars, I would. The manager of this location (LaToya) was very unfriendly and rude. She refused to rent to us when my husband asked her a reasonable question. Shut us completely down and told us we'd have to rent from another location. Very unprofessional and made a difficult situation even more so, since our car was in an accident; we are having to deal with the insurance and rude people like this who have no compassion for people. Completely unwilling to take extra time or even understand how absolutely stressed out we are trying to even get to the rental agency, let alone get around for four days with no car because no agency had one until after the eclipse. read more

I definitely will go ahead and keep y'all posted on that information but for someone that has high blood pressure dealing with that was honestly really hard. I had to go ahead and take about 30 minutes just to go ahead and normalize my blood flow. My heart was pacing and I had to go ahead and actually, take precautions having someone in the customer service field specially in a circumstance where someone has gotten a car accident and they're trying to get a car because they want to handle their life is insane that they have to go ahead and deal with childish behavior. that's not what I was looking for. That's not what I thought I was gonna deal with. It was so unprofessional, and I really hope no one else has to deal with the fact that I called back thinking that I could speak to that person and have them on a nicer note and then to be in the middle of some game because they're bored and they don't understand their job. I have had a terrible experience at this specific enterprise location two out of the three times I have gotten a vehicle from them. On my first visit, I missed my pickup window (not realizing you had to be there at that exact time. I mistakingly thought it meant when the vehicle was ready.) The employee working rented the car out to someone else without giving me so much as a courtesy call or letting me know. I Ubered to the location and she did not even apologize, but stated she was "just about to call and tell me" it was no longer available. Today, I arrived at the location 20-30 minutes before they closed at 12pm. When I walked in, there were 10 other people In the lobby and 1 employee working. While I understand you can't help how busy it will be, there was not one single "thank you for your patience" or "I apologize for the wait" to any of us. This is the same employee present with my first poor experience. She was also in workout clothes. Overall, just not a good experience and the professionalism and customer service skills are severely lacking. read more

This is by far the worst Enterprise ever. Rude customer service by teenagers. They just handed me a key and pointed as to which vehicle I would be taking. No one walked me to the car in the lot or offered to help with my bags and car seat. But the best part is.... I noticed on the way home that there was a crack in the passenger side of the windshield. Not until then did I realize that prior times I've rented, they did a walk through. I called to make sure they were aware so I would not be responsible. Of course they said that it wasn't documented, but they will take note of it. All I have to say, is that I better not be charged. Very poor service at best. I have used Enterprise at this location several times and I have been pleased but today I had a bad experience with them. I had a reservation for Friday 8/31/18 9:00 AM made online and with confirmation number sent to my email. I planned all my trip details based on this rental which would be key getting on time from point A to point B. When I called them to request to pick me up they said there was no full size car available and they would call me in the afternoon to let me know if they found a car. I told the representative I could not wait until the afternoon just to find out if they had my car available. More than one hour later after the reservation pick-up time I have no updates whatsoever. I called them because I had everything packed and was ready to leave. The girl that handled the call was not apologetic at all and tried to justify their blunder and was really unconcerned about my problem. I explained to her that I planned my trip which would be totally impossible to realize without a rental and pointed how come a major company like Enterprise could confirm a reservation just to call you the next morning saying there is no car available. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional, I said. She suggested that there were several branches I could call to check if they have the car I needed available. I immediately told her, this is not my job. It is your job, you are the ones who are messing my trip plans. It seems they were not willing to walked the extra mile. Very frustrated I called the branch in Mckinney and talked to the manager there who was totally professional and offered me a solution to my problem giving an option for an upgrade with a discounted price which I gladly accepted. Should the manager in Allen offered me another type of vehicle for the same or a discounted price I would be not writing this review. I will definitely avoid this location even though it is very close to my house. So beware that if you rent a car with Enterprise don't count as a done deal and you could have your trip ruined by pure lack of competence and due to a system that is not reliable. I was nervous about using this Enterprise because it wasn't my regular go to location, and was pleasantly surprised! Vehicle was spotless, and they were very thorough from start to finish. The 2 gentleman and young lady were extremely friendly and seems to really care for their customers. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! Awful service. If you're getting work done from Caliber Collision, deal with Enterprise first. The grade of vehicle requested (and was confirmed via phone prior to arrival) was not available. Got stuck in a car that smelled like smoke and had pet hair all throughout. When I took the car back to swap for a grade of car which I requested and am accustomed to driving, the staff was extremely condescending. Wendy in particular is in the wrong industry. She should be removed from having any interaction with customers. I understand if availability of vehicles might have been limited, but being kind goes a long way. This might have been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. If it weren't for the excellent service from Caliber Collision and them stepping in and forcing a resolution, I would have not gotten anywhere with Enterprise. read more

So then I got tired of hearing the same voicemail over and over I got an Uber to Enterprise. I get here I tell Wendy W. that I have been calling and calling and on hold for 2 hours she said verbatim "YUP ITS BEEN BUSY AND I DIDNT WANT TO ANSWER THE PHONE". Honestly today I could not believe what happened. Mr. Kevin Rucker has put every possible obstacle for me not to rent a car. I do not know why. I am a tourist, I have an unlimited international card, I have local debit card, I have DL limited term valid (Because I am a tourist of course) ... but even then he did not rent the car. I have rented cars here in the US many times and have never had any problems of any kind. Maybe it's because I got in store on a scooter...I don't know... I can not find another reason. And the worst that Mr. Kevin Rucker just said was that he would not rent the car after he had made the financial transaction. Unbelievable! NO, they did not do a walk through with me. And a day later they charged me for a small ding in the windshield. IT WAS $800. I saw no ding when I first arrived, but since no one was in the office, no walk around was done to inspect the vehicle. $800 mistake. ALWAYS WALK THE VEHICLE AS SOON AS YOU GET TO THE OFFICE. The office I returned to to was right next to a busy highway, a rock most likely bounced off the road after I dropped the vehicle off, but with no pictures to prove it, I was sunk. I would like to give really positive feedback to an employee at this location whom I believe is named Alex. My younger sister was attempting to rent a car at another location earlier in the morning over in Oklahoma where she attends college, and long story short, just had a really awful experience and was left unable to rent one there. Being that she was on a time crunch we quickly changed plans and got her transportation to this rental location where I live so that I could go with her in case she needed assistance with the process! I called the location several times after the reservation was made to ensure we would not experience any more hiccups this time and Alex was the one I talked with every time (bless him haha) . He was patient and kind throughout the whole process! He answered each of my (MANY) questions and never once gave an impression of annoyance or boredom, even though I am sure he was quite sick of my phone calls today haha. I wanted to submit this so that he can be praised and maybe even rewarded for incredible customer service and just overall human kindness. My sister was able to arrive and drive away in her reserved vehicle in about 10 minutes!
