So, on Friday, 8/27/21 with about an hour before closing, I call their reservations dept at 844 382 6875 and rent a car for the weekend, Friday thru Monday. Before I hung up the phone I had the "confirmation" in my email, so I thought everything was great. Fast forward 15 minutes...I'm already in my Lyft on my way up to the Plano location when the manager calls me to tell me they do not have anything available, I'm like WTF!!! I'm loking at my email on my iPhone and I have a confirmation, whaddaya mean you don't have a car? He gives me some BS that the system has some lag and that their availability is not really "live time" or some shit like that. I tell him I'm already $12.00 into my Lyft ride on my way up there and all he can do is apologize and says "I can continue to come up there but he cannot garauntee he'll have any cars available when I get up there. So, I told the Lyft driver to turn around, I was certian I'd get this resolved thru corporate. The below images of correspondence are in chronological order. Notice the dozen or so customer service reps all promising the same BS. First, the insincere BS apology, then their BS commitment to get this resolved. To date (9-20-21) I have yet to speak with the F'n manager, or anyone for that matter from that location. The leasing agent I worked with was honestly one of the least communicative people I have ever dealt with. I would respond to her emails or messages and then wait DAYS to receive a response. When I finally did hear back, I still couldn't get clear answers about the actual terms of the approval. I was told that my application had been approved, then asked for a down payment. After that, I was repeatedly told that I needed "more" of a down payment, but no one would clearly explain exactly how much was required or what the actual terms of the approval were. How are you supposed to make an informed financial decision when you can't even get basic information about the deal? What made it even worse was that getting an answer to any of these questions could take days. I work in customer service, so I understand that people get busy and responses aren't always immediate. But communication is one of the most basic parts of doing business, especially when you are dealing with something as significant as financing a vehicle. There is a major difference between being busy and simply failing to communicate with a customer. The entire process felt like a waste of my time. It was poorly communicated, unnecessarily confusing, and left a very bad taste in my mouth regarding Fair Lease as a company. I genuinely hope other customers have a better experience than I did, but based on my experience, I would not recommend Fair Lease.

For all I know this was some dealer who was trying to remain anonymous. After I established that I had, in fact, reach Dallas Town Car I asked him about transportation to DFW. This guy was totally clueless as to how to conduct a client engagement since he was also carrying on a side conversation with a buddy of his. I told him that he obviously was having trouble paying attention and hung up. Whoever owns and runs this business needs to pay attention to detail regarding who they charge with answering the phones and fielding calls. It seems as if the new normal is to get workers with the attention spam of a chipmunk and the language skills of someone fresh in from Juarez. I am going to give my business to a company with people who KNOW how to deal with the public, speak English and understand that treating EVERY potential customer politely is paramount.
