Booked car reservation for 10:00 am for work. Arrived 17 in line waiting. Over 1 hour wait. One person doing the detailing of cars, one person to check people in one person to walk you around the car. I think they had a total of four people. The average wait time for each. Customer has been well over an hour while the people here are pleasant enough. This reflects on absolute poor management on upper structure. Whoever is managing this needs to be removed from that position. This is rude to keep your customers waiting 17 people have things to do on a Saturday. Every one of us works hard over 40 to 50 hours of 60 hours a week we want to enjoy our weekend not wait for incompetent management to figure things out cause they're too cheap to hire more people. read more

I was without my own car for about a year. I found myself having to rent one frequently and I chose the location at 2775 S. Central merely for convenience. From my first rental to my last, I received nothing but the best service from all the team members. They came to know me by name as soon as I walked in the door . My daughter passed away in November and I was overwhelmed with the caring and compassion these folks showed me. Never had a single problem with a reservation or a vehicle! I mentioned a few times to them that I would soon be shopping for a car to buy. The manager ( I believe), put a call into Enterprise Sales in Plano and soon I was contacted by John. He immediately sent me the available cars in stock based on my choices of make , model , etc. John was very patient with me and soon I purchased a Camry from him . Worst customer service ever. Booked a hybrid car through my insurance company because I was in an accident. They were supposed to pick me up at the body shop after I dropped my car off but never did so I had to walk to Enterprise. When I got there I waited in line for 15 minutes in a small smelly waiting room and then was told the car I reserved was not available. I told him that their system is stupid then because it let me book it and it charged my card extra since the hybrid costs more than my insurance will pay. He said he tried to call me but failed to leave a message to let me know. When I got frustrated he told me that we wouldn't be helping me and refused to assist in finding another branch that had the car they let me book. Will be contacting the corporate office. Would avoid this location at all costs as the carpet stinks just as much as their customer service. read more

Avoid renting from Enterprise at all costs! I rented an Audi Q3 from Enterprise on December 9, 2024. The vehicle was dropped off at the collision center on December 20, 2024, and returned to Enterprise. I received the rental contract documenting the return date of December 20, time of 5:30 pm, and location, along with the total rental charge. At no point was I contacted by Enterprise regarding any issues with the vehicle. On December 30, 2024, I received a letter from the Damage Recovery Unit regarding alleged damage to the vehicle. The inspection and "date of loss" listed by Enterprise was December 23, 2024--three days after the return date specified in my rental agreement. I contacted the Enterprise branch and spoke with Jayden Stumbaugh, who identified himself as the assistant manager. Unfortunately, he was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. I was able to obtain two pictures from their Damage Recovery Unit, which they claimed were taken during the vehicle inspection. However, these pictures are not time-stamped, do not show the location, and, more importantly, show no visible damage. Additionally, there was no hailstorm during my rental period, which can easily be verified by checking the weather history for the area. I have now received another letter requesting $990 for repair costs. This letter includes pictures from the body shop, where a special light was used to reveal the dents. Upon reviewing the initial pictures I took at the time of rental pickup, I noticed that some of these dents were already visible on the vehicle. read more

My daughter had an accident. her car a Kia Optima. rental place would not rent to her because she was only 17 years old. I (the father) had to rent the car and only I could drive it. I went through the insurance car rental site which forwarded me to either Enterprise or Hertz. I chose Enterprise (never again). Since I was going to be the driver, I selected the best available under my insurance policy rates. I selected the premium luxury sedan. McKinney Enterprise did not have such car. Instead provided a Nissan Rogue, with the sales desk informing me that as soon as they got the car selected, I could switch out. No issues. Later I recieve a text asking if I was satisfied and apologizing for the inconvenience....still no issues. BUT he/she continued with, "Enterprise does not guarantee a specific make or model when making a reservation. It states that it will be something comparable to the size vehicle you've reserved. Thank you for you understanding." I replied that I understood the comparable but the Nissan Rogue was not a comparable 'Premium Luxury' that I had selected / reserved and I stated their response was ill advised without know the details. In non-customer service reaction, he/she responded back $50 rate would not cover the premium luxury car rental, even though I selected and reserved through the insurance pass-through site to Enterprise, where it did state premium luxury was $49.50 rate. he/she also stated "the car that was in the accident (2016 Kia Optima was not a luxury car". I replied, she/he needed to understand the pretext/context of the situation before making condescending comments. I also stated, I am not ignorant, I wouldn't select a car that was above my insurance rates. I also stated: "My daughter's car (Kia Optima), I know and realize it is not a luxury car (Again condescending remarks on your (she/he)) ...stop your rhetoric. Enterprise does not allow my daughter (17 yr old) to rent a car. If I'm going to have to drive the car under my policy rates I'm choosing a car/vehicle I want to drive under my policy rates." " your response without knowing any of the facts; is ridiculous". All in all an overall back experience and customer service. read more

First location on Central Expressway & White Rd said my reservation was for the other location on Central Expressway & Eldorado. Of course the manager tried to upsell me to a small SUV which i was not willing to pay for so they confirmed my reservation at the other location and i left to pick up the rental. When I got to the location on Central Expressway and Eldorado I waited while the manager stared at the computer and said nothing. When I started to call St Farm they said all they were waiting for was for me to give them my information BECAUSE THE OTHER LOCATION I was just at changed the location to their location. Games were played and even though I had a reservation I had to wait over a half hour to get a car! Horrible customer service! I will never use Enterprise again! read more

Upon a hit and run my insurance referred me to a rental through Enterprise. I showed up and met with the employee Tyler. He told me that they had a vehicle that would be ready shortly. I asked for the smallest car they had and Tyler strongly suggested that I take the SUV they have available so I could get back on the road quickly. Ok cool I'm onboard so far. Tyler took me out and instructed me to walk the vehicle with him and to point out any damage before I take it. I have worked at a Bodyshop for 14 years and have a lot of experience writing estimates for collision damage. I began to point out damage and Tyler told me not to worry about anything that is less than 1 inch or smaller, I still pointed out every detail it took about 15 minutes or so. Upon completion Tyler only noted the chipped windshield. When I mentioned this he reminded me that we only needed to address things that are larger than an inch. I drove off and took the car straight home about 30 miles. My family has 3 cars total, the sole purpose of the rental was to avoid Uber as a means to get home (My insurance provides free rental coverage for all accidents) The car came home and parked in the garage where I always park. The remainder of the week I used our 3rd car as I'm more used to driving it. I turned the car back on to an enterprise closer to my home. I took a total of 4 trips in this rental the week and a half It was in my possession. The next morning I received a phone call at 7.34am and it was missed as I was getting ready for work. Soon after at 7.40 I get a bank notice and discovered that an additional 500 was removed from my bank account by enterprise. So I called to ask why. The person on the phone told me that I was being billed for extensive hail damage on the roof of the vehicle. I'm in complete shock at this point! Upon asking her several questions in regards to the issue she became upset and referred me to the location that I rented from. Before hand the same morning I returned to this location to inspect the extensive damage and they refused to let me see the vehicle. They let me look at cell phone photos that had uploaded to their software and it showed no damage at all that I could see. Remember I worked at a Bodyshop for 14 years.. So I called and spoke with Tyler..... I asked how to resolve this. To say the least he was very combative or he just didn't know. Side note I was charged 500 total as a deductible my deductible stated 250.00 so I asked for a refund. Tyler after giving up invited me to drive back to their location to receive the refund. So I woke up and drove out to McKinney in morning traffic only to find out from Tyler's manager that this all could have been done over the phone.... When I confronted him in front of his manager she just sat back and watched with her arms crossed while apologizing. Even after several attempts Enterprise refuses to show me photo proof that the damage I'm being billed for was not present when I picked it up. I asked well then how do you know if it was me or the previous customer. They had no answer for this question. My next step is to have my bank get involved to stop the payment. Edit 5/26/21 I called and emailed like suggested as the business response suggested. The person on the other end could actually care less about what was going on. After several days they found a very nice, clean, and well maintained car similar to my mine. Car was great - returned when mine was finished - again were helpful and pleasant. This location 2775 S Central Expy McKinney, TX 75070 has never been a good experience. The first time (over a year ago) we had a dirty, stinky car that when mentioned, they didn't care. This time was after a car accident. They were insensitive and rude. I was offered a truck or van: take it or leave it. I was not comfortable driving those type of vehicles. After I called another store (Apparently, this location can't check with the other stores to see if there is a car available) I got a condescending 'Ma'am, I have a (huge car, can't remember the name) available. Is that good enough for you?' Umm, it wasn't about the type of car only the size. I left in tears. Thankfully, I called the Allen location on Andrews Pkwy. Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas...stand still traffic on the highway in freaking Arkansas...it was so stand still I fell asleep and the trucker behind me had to beep his horn to wake me up...finally, TEXAS. But...I didn't make it. No worries, called ahead and the lovely lady closed me out and told me to just drop my keys in the box - no worries and no extra charge for being just shy of my return time. The car had grass in it, windows filthy, steering wheel nasty and sticky, and in great need of a car wash. The car was on empty but they filled it up, and said it would be no cost to me bringing it back on empty. The car was just 100% gross. Plus they are very short stiffed. From next day morning from 8am, I call a couple of different car rental places to find the right car so I can drive to downtown Dallas that night for my work, and it was extremely difficult somewhat! Rented car from this location with no issues, other than not so clean car, but that is expected as I have NEVER rented a clean vehicle from anywhere. My biggest issue is upon return I asked to book another reservation for the following week, dates Nov 27, 28, and 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. No problem I was told, BUT of course rates will be higher of course, I was also told. I never received confirmation email which caused me to question. I then call reservation line and of course my booking was never made. Very upsetting, especially not knowing if I would be able to travel to see family. Conveniently there is no name on who checked me out on receipt. Not happy. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Was told I would be picked up as soon as a driver was available (since it was 8:15 in the am) about 30 mins later I placed the second call in, was told someone was on their way. At 9:00 I call again, I was told they don't service the area I was in, it would be with another office closer to my current location. Why wasn't I told this an hour ago? They said they felt bad so they would call the local office on my behalf and make sure they get the message and send someone immediately. Another 20 mins go by and I call again, I was placed on hold, and then someone else told me the branch manage of the location that is supposed to pick me up, will be calling me in two mins. 10 mins later no call. I then call this office again, demand the phone number and address of this location and told them I was very dissatisfied with them, and hung up. I call the local office and they told me they had drivers at my location twice, and did not know we needed to be picked up. They said they would be there in two mins. In about 2 mins the driver was there picked us up and said their office NEVER got a call from this office about our pick up. I dealt with Spencer Cook at the Enterprise office at 1434 N Central Expy Ste. 100 McKinney Tx. He apologized about our excessive wait and upgraded us to a larger car. He was very helpful. Its a shame, because I am part of the huge Toyota relocation project that is happening right now, and I'll make sure to spread the word not to do business with the location at 2775 S Central Expy. They clearly don't care about customer service at all. I will be calling the Branch manager today to express my disappointment with this location. Stay away from this one. Called four days in advance to reserve a full size car. They gave me my choices, and I requested the altima for it's fuel efficiency. I got on site, and they said that I could have the Altima or Malibu. I, again, requested the Altima that (thought) I'd reserved four days prior. He looks at his computer and tells me it's not available, it needs an oil change (he JUST asked me if I wanted it). I asked if maybe I could have the CRV that was outside, because it was similar to my personal vehicle. He said he didn't know what was going on with it. His co-worker told me that they hadn't checked the "dropbox" yet, and that he thought it was dropped off. My clerk acknowledged what he said and ignored my request. We walked outside and the Maxima had obviously hit something, and there were dings all over it. I made a note of all the dings, and he said that he made note of everything. I looked at his paperwork, and he'd only written down the one, larger problem. the gas tank was 1/2 way between 1/2 and 3/4. I need to bring the car back with that exact amount of gas. (seriously??) the guy was NOT a customer service person. Seriously, just go to another branch. ANY other branch. Let me tell you how excited I am to turn this car back in. read more

Enterprise at 2775 S. Central and Service King at 2727 S. Central in McKinney, near Eldorado made my day. I arrived at Sevice King for what I thought was my scheduled drop time and anticipating my Enterprise rental to be ready for my departure. Unfortunately I arrived on the wrong day. I soon realized I was there on the most right day. Instead of my mistake causing confusion and irritation I was was warmly welcomed and my car was taken care of instantly. Then the second part of my great experience was Marie and Ashley with Enterprise. Ashley happily helped with my insurance and service. The other half to this great team was Marie. She happened to over hear that I was expecting my rental and I was not there on the right day. Within minutes she was on her way to make sure a had a car. Marie was gone only long enough for me to get a quick look at a picture of Omar's new born daughter and her big sister. Now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Thank you guys. read more

The customer service by the manager was terrible! When I attempted to pay the final bill with cash, I was asked to leave and go get a cashiers check. After a $1500 rental car bill, while a car is being repaired, Enterrprise refused to take cash. Clearly Customer Service is not their main concern.
