We forked out the $69.00 rental for the day as we wanted to explore the city before checking into our hotel, and go shopping. It was also nice as my husband and son used the car as a crash pad to catch some ZzzzS while I was parked at Pike Market Place and went shopping alone. The return wasn't as smooth as the pick-up from the airport as the street signs were CONFUSING as heck. No left turn except for buses onto 3rd, what??? We circled around and around using Waze app due to multiple one-way streets. The entrance to Alamo for the garage wasn't really marked, either. It was the Twilight Zone. After about a stupid and ridiculous 20- minute drive being stuck on one-way streets and circling around and around, I said, "screw this! I am turning LEFT!" Once into the building, there were no signs, so we drove up a few flights to an Alamo booth and idled the car, wondering what to do. There were no signs, did I already say that? There was a lone woman in a booth talking to what appeared to be a customer. I had to get out of the car to ask her what to do, and she said we could just park the car. She was nice, though. You need sleuthing skills to return a car here. Convenient, but only if you know what you are doing.

I had been going in almost daily to make payments, and as of yesterday, I was told in person that I was fully caught up. Later, I found out they had been applying my security deposit toward my payments without clearly explaining that to me. From my understanding, a deposit is supposed to cover potential damages or issues--not be used like that--so that immediately felt off. This morning, I called to extend my rental and was told there was an error on their end and that I should come in. When I arrived, things took a turn for the worse. They asked for my key tag and then took the key fob without properly explaining what was going on. I was told to remove all my belongings from the car and informed they couldn't accept any more payments because I had supposedly been issued a "demand to return" notice--something I had never been told about before, either over the phone or during any of my prior visits. To make matters worse, on my way home, I was still charged on my card, and they kept my security deposit. I wasn't even given the opportunity to refuel the car, clean it, or properly gather my belongings before they took the vehicle back. I had no intention of returning the car--I was trying to extend the rental--so the entire situation felt abrupt and mishandled. Afterward, I contacted customer service and was told that security deposits generally shouldn't be used the way mine was, which only added to my concern. Overall, this experience felt very unfair and disorganized. I would strongly recommend that this location improve communication and transparency with customers to avoid situations like this.

Had a friend drop me off at the hotel. Signs at entrance to driveway directed us downstairs to lower level entrance. Went in sliding doors and followed signs to office. Returning the car a couple weeks later at least had no issues and was relatively quick. Inside has restrooms, provided the doors aren't accidentally locked. A couple of chairs are placed in front of the counter, but the hallway feels too narrow to sit with other customers always around.
