I rented a car from enterprise last week while my personal vehicle was in the body shop due to a collision. The rental was coordinate thru the other parties' insurance. When I arrived at enterprise they didn't have the car I had requested. To be fair the staff at the counter mentioned that they weren't expecting me that day which I can understand since the insurance company does not know when I'll drop my car at the body shop. The staff at the counter did their best to find an suv at a neighboring enterprise location and had it delivered in a timely manner. Additionally, they upgraded my car type due to the inconvenience. Both the staff and the desk and the staff in the parking lot releasing the vehicles were friendly and helpful. Although it took extra time to get my vehicle I appreciated their effort to make things right. read more

What a scam! I had a reservation for a midsize SUV at $319.88, but when I got home and checked my email, I saw that I was charged $476.96 instead. I went back just 10 minutes later to speak with the manager, Djour Lariviere, who told me the price had changed to because my pickup time was at 5:45 PM instead of 5:00 PM--a 45-minute difference and that the salesperson working with me quoted me incorrectly because he is a new employee. Be sure to double-check your bill before handing over your credit card! This location clearly doesn't honor their quoted prices. read more

This review is way past due, but I couldn't just let it go. When I needed a rental several months ago, everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The vehicle I had originally rented, had a slow tire leak and I was able to come in and easily switch to another vehicle. I also wanted to give a shout out to the branch manager, Sahid A. He was very nice and wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied. Booked a reservation the day before. Arrived 5 minutes before my reservation at 9am. While 2 people sat in an office, one guy was helping another. The phones were ringing off the hook. The guy finished up with the 1st person and began helping me. At that point, he had to stop and answer the phone as no one else was. Once he finished checking me in, I was told they didn't have any cars that I requested in, and they would have to call around to get me something. I told them I couldn't wait so they offered me a Ram Truck. The truck was very dirty inside, including something extremely sticky between the seat and console. I use rental cars at least 20 times a year, and this is the most disappointing experience at an office I've ever had. read more

Had a terrible experience with enterprise. My insurance covers up to $50 per day when my husband originally took the car out we drive an electric car mind you, they gave us the most inefficient gas guzzlers of a car a ford mustang. Basically gave us no choice and option told us that this was the only car they had available we could take it or leave it. Due to us being without one car as it was at the body shop we had no choice but to rent it. The asst manager said he was doing us a "favor" by lowering down the price of a mustang to $50 a day to what our insurance pays. He didn't do an outside inspection or inside inspection just gave us the car. We spoke with the insurance company told us that isn't proper practice. They just upsold us on a car , not only was it a 2 door car but every time we tried to return the car they closed early for some reason. Instead of not having to pay for a rental we ended up having to pay for some of the fees out of pocket because he maxed out the daily rates. How could you give someone with a 4 door car a 2 door car and expect for their children to get in and out of a sports car. They don't care about their customers and don't care if you're happy or not as he said take it or leave it. read more

I made a reservation (#1889359711) for 15 seater Van on May 14 for June 18-21, 4 days. I called on June 18 to confirm Van pick up on June 18 @ 5:15Pm, and it was confirmed by Andy. Came the next day June 18 at 5:00Pm to pick up the Van. Suddenly Andy told me it wasn't available due to Van was in the shop and he said he called me to let me know there is no available, he also said I did not confirm. So many lies. So I pulled out my cell phone and press the number in my call log and the phone in front of him ring to prove that I called the day before to confirm. Andy just told me that he contacted Cerritos, they have 2 Van available but the customer did not confirm yet, so it's still NOT guarantee that they would give it to me the next day. No help was given to me. Did not resolve the issue. Andy told me that I can go to LAX if I want too to get those 15 seaters Van. Really? I need to resolve what they did to me? No words I can't express what I am feeling that day. I am angry, mad and supper stress because we plan our vacation for almost 2 months. Put yourself in my shoes. If you can go to a different Enterprise I would do so. My car was stolen, my insurance told me to go to this enterprise. They offered me a car with the tire pressure sensor messed up and the inside lining covered in stains but I was desperate to get to work. Fast forward, a piece of the trunk falls off while I was driving and now they are finding me liable. When I called because I noticed it was loose and had to continue driving to work, they could not have cared less. It's unfortunate you go to rent a car already in a unfortunate situation, given a car that has clearly been driven by numerous renters without any fixing and get stuck with the bill. You sign for damages, but did not realize that meant for damages that already existed as well. read more

I have had to rent a car 3 times in the past month twice from an accident and once from car trouble. I used this location each time and will definitely come back again. Excellent Service Cole is the Best. My car was being repaired due to an accident and Enterprise was were I was to get my rental. I've used them before but this time the service was above and beyond. Cole made the whole process easy and simple. From the time I placed the call till when I returned the rental (clean and smelled good) I had NO ISSUES A GREAT PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. They picked me up fast my car was ready. Cole took time to explain the functions of the car ( so I understood). The return was just as great. Had a reservation went in today and there was only one employee. There was three people before me and people continued to come in. The only guy helping wasnt even welcoming every customer that was walking into the office. Any business would again welcome arriving customers we are paying customers nothing is free. He then shows a car that wasnt even in the budget we agreed on with our insurance. When he brought out a car we look at the car was filthy we then canceled our appointment and the employee slams the door and walks away very angry. Maybe if he was properly trained and enterprise be more professional when renting a car to any customer it should at least be clean inside and out. Currently stuck in the middle of the road with this rental car. Started shaking in the middle of Arizona highway scary. Going back and forth phone calls with long hold time with Enterprise rental car for 2 hours. No roadside assistance available for 3 hours to get here and 2 hours to get to the nearest Enterprise car. So upsetting... Dont understand how 2016 model could have this problem. After 8 1/2 hours we reached the Airport Enterprise renta car I asked If they will provide a hotel since it was very late at night for us to drive 3 hours away to our next stop. My schedule time to pick up my reservations was 11:00 am on a Saturday morning. I was behind schedule from other preparations for my trip by 30 mins. I called them at 11:30am to let them know I was on my way, to my surprise, the representative said that they had given my car out since they didn't think I was going to show up. Nevertheless, they honored the reservation and found an SUV from a partner which is what I needed. I made it right at 12:00 pm which is the time they close. Shaylyn and Brandon helped me out even tough I was cutting it close on time. Customer Service gets 5 stars. Unfortunately, the vehicle did not meet my expectations on cleaniness( see the pictures) and there was a lingering smell of smoke. I had to give the dashboard and windows a clean and buy a deodorizer. The key was partially broken(see the photo), it was very uncomfortable in my pocket. Moreover, as I was about 50 miles into my trip the low oil light came on which made me a bit nervous, but the car made it through just fine. Upon returning the car Brandon gave me a little discount for having to go through that. In summary, customers service will take good care of you, but car expectations and performance could be random. read more

As an auto shop owner I've referred hundreds of clients to this local Enterprise when their cars are getting repaired. Used to be a quick simple system where I'd call the local branch when a customer was ready to be picked up, and they'd be on their way. Now Corporate has screwed that system up and broke it to the point of being unusable. A customer who has rented 2 dozen times over the decades couldn't get through by phone so he DROVE there first to confirm they had cars available, then drove a few blocks to my shop to drop off. I went to call Enterprise to pick him up. The number now forwards to a central reservation system, where the lady had to phone the location herself to pass on the message while I was on hold. After a LONG time in the phone tree and a long time listening to slowly read instructions that weren't relevant, and time talking to the reservation center lady and waiting on hold, she came back on the line and played the "Hello, hello? I can't hear you! CLICK!" game where call time metrics are obviously rewarded higher than actually completing the task the customer called for. Bottom line, what used to be an effective 20 second process including the old phone tree system ate up more than 3 minutes, which is an eternity while trapped watching another customer arrive on the CCTV and trying to get into the wrong building to find me. I ended up having to leave my shop open and unattended to shuttle the customer over to the rental yard. Our local office, and most of the staff over the decades have been great to work with. Now, corporate has done what they seem to do best, have people who probably NEVER worked a customer-facing position scrap a working system and replace it with a centralized system that looked cheaper on paper but at a cost of making the simplest interaction with the company deeply unpleasant and inefficient for customers and front line employees alike. SO unpleasant and inefficient that people who have done business with the company for decades will vow never to call the system ever again after just one engagement, no matter what. Calling Enterprise nowadays is like making a wrong turn onto a highway where the next exit is like 30 miles away. read more

I came to this location (Bellflower) because I dropped off my car to get it fixed after my accident. It's a really small lot. The insurance company booked me for a compact SUV and I got an olive green Nissan Rogue. Two main things disappointed me: 1. There was a strong cologne smell in the car that didn't go away. I had the car for 5 days and I literally smelled like I had men's cologne all over me for days. 2. The car wasn't even washed and cleaned. Inside, the steering wheel was sticky, the cup holders were dirty and had water in them. The carpet seemed vacuumed but the rest of the car... ugh. It's like no one took the time to care for it. The customer service was pretty good. They were quick to get me checked in and out. But the driver that picked me up from the repair shop joked with me saying the location was 10-15 minutes away. They opened at 8am so I arrived at 7:45am. I wasn't helped until past 8am. So you cares if they tell you to arrive 15 minutes early. They literally do not help anyone until its exactly opening time. If you show up a minute early, then forget it... you're SOL and have to wait until the clock strikes on the dot. Renting a car here takes a little while since it's not automated. The car I got (Mazda 2) was clean but only had half a tank. However, it didn't give me any problems during the 2 weeks I had it. I would like to rent from here again (because it's so close to me), but the hours is just too inconvenient (closes at 6pm on weekdays, closes at noon on Saturdays and no Sundays) and the customer service is questionable. read more
