I had a car for a week. They came to pick me up from the body shop. The the first car provided was very smoke ridden and was causing respiratory issues. I told them about it and w/in an afternoon, i was able to change to another car, which i appreciated. I ended up having the car for a day or 2 longer than the contract and my insurance comp'ed the extra days and it was a smooth transition w/ Enterprise. So, Yes, i would use them again. read more

We rent cars from this location regularly and have always had great experiences. Unfortunately, this time our experience did not meet the standard we've come to expect. The car was not clean and had a strong smell of fried food, with visible food smears throughout--especially on the back seats. Before traveling, I had to get a car deodorizer first and clean the most important parts of the car that we needed to use, which was both inconvenient and disappointing. Renting a car is not cheap, and receiving a clean vehicle should be part of the service. We're truly disappointed and hope this feedback helps ensure better experiences in the future. read more

This location has no concept of a reservation. I reserved a standard suv 3 months in advance. When I arrived to pick up my rental, they only had a truck and camry. Other patrons I witnessed seemed to run into this issue and were offered the camry instead of what they had reserved. read more

I should've read these comments before renting a car here. There are more bad reviews than good. Vinny the manager may look and sound helpful but he is sneaky and dishonest. He was more concerned about the customers in line hearing about the hidden fees that I was charged, so he repeatedly said to me, "My staff is professionally trained and they should've explained every detail on the day of rental." "NO, THEY DIDN'T". He said he'll look into it and will call me back on Monday 4/17(Saturday 4/15 returned the car). Of course, he didn't call me back until May 3, almost 3 weeks later, and said no worries $833.74 additional charge was covered by my insurance. But guess what the day he called me was the day he charged $833 to my credit card. Damn! Received my C/C statement on 5/24 with the charge of $833.74 then I called him back and have him explain the charges and he denied that he had called me on 5/3 and acting he doesn't know what I was talking about. OH HELLO... I have a phone record that you've called me. Then at that moment, I was thinking, It's one of those people who get away with lies and dishonest people that I'm dealing with. SAD! My insurance coverage is $600 Day of rental March 21-April 15 (23 days) Car daily rental $20.99 with tax & protection: $30.75 a day x 23 days= Total $707.25 (Enterprise grand total charged for 23 days: $1,433.74) How in the world did I end up paying $833.74 extra toward my credit card bills? I been coming here for years either for leisure rental or when car needs repairs at the shop If you're local they send a shuttle to pick you up or to drop you near by. Luckily my rental started today on a Monday so this afternoon there wasn't that bad of a wait. The agents here are quick with check in and try their best to get the customers in and out. All of the employees here are pretty friendly and the advantage of this location in auto square is they tend to have a good amount of stock. They didn't have the car size I reserved for so I'm grateful they gave me the upgrade at no charge. I've been to other locations where they try to give me a car that's downgraded in size. Like I said I think I'm lucky that today is a Monday. This location can be VERY busy on prime holidays and weekends, on top of that they're a site for insurance rentals so there can be a lot of foot traffic. I am sadly going thru my insurance to get a rental car due to damage on my own car and my insurance company went thru Hertz (first mistake). I reserved a premium car and when I went there, all they had was a small beat up Ford Fiesta. I quickly looked up the closest Enterprise and found this one. I explained my situation. I had just dropped off my own car and was without a car now. They quickly started a reservation and I went today to go pick up. The agent I spoke with today asked which vehicle I dropped off and based on my answer, she vowed to find me the car that would suit me. The service at this enterprise is the best in the nation. This is my first time getting a rental car with enterprise. This was my first time in an not at fault accident. There's a sweet lady behind the counter I forgot her name because she was so kind and patient and worked with me through the whole thing even helping me link my triple a membership. Then an employee Sarah my first visit helped me get in the rental that was the right size for me being tall. Then upon return Chi helped me with my return and she was so sweet and accommodating as I had no clue what to do!!! Shady shady shady! I rented a car from them a couple weeks ago now. When I went to get a car, they gave me nothing comparable to my car. As well as trying to give me a car that wreaked of pot. I returned the car no issues. However, 2 weeks later now they are wanting me to pay $21.99 for the insurance that was not covered by Lexus for my regal car. Great I'm happy too. However, they can not produce a bill for me. Refusing to email me. Refusing to mail one. Just repeatedly asking for my credit card info. Overall poor experience I do not recommend. I have charges on my credit card from them "they can't not see" and "don't know where they came from" while continually asking for additional credit card information from me. read more

Very disappointed & dissatisfied with the confusing online reservation/reservation line that Enterprise has! You call the reservation line which is what the automated system leads you to, and they confirm everything (spending about 15-20 min) and the people you're speaking to aren't even at the actual location!!!! HOW FRUSTRATING! Reservation line needs to communicate with the actual office location to confirm there is that car available because it wastes customers' valuable time and gas to drive all the way there just to find out there is nothing available. It is very time consuming and strenuous booking and confirming with someone over the phone and then when you get to the location, nothing is available. Keep in mind, we talked to 4-5 locations. We are in desperate need of a car due to a family death and none of the customer service representatives helped. All had the same "sorry ma'am" excuses. Enterprise really needs to fix this issue because it not only confuses customers, gets their hopes up, but it ANGERS us! We made a reservation for a rental car at the Downey location. Pick-up time was 12 pm on a Saturday, and we were running a little late so both Downey locations were closed. I called the Enterprise general number and was connected with the nearby Cerritos where we made a new reservation. Upon our arrival in Cerritos, we were welcomed by the staff, and they accommodated us in no time. They got our car ready, added a 2nd driver for free, allowed the Downey location for drop off, AND matched the price we had gotten in Downey. I'm confused as to when Enterprise lost their customer service skills and replaced them with nothing but lies upon lies and laziness. It seems like CHOVID really did a number on the company as far as the caliber of people they have as staff. Sure they might greet you in a friendly manner but they are lying to you with every word beyond hello. I have been a long time customer but as of today, I'm going to another rental company. They try and tell you all of these policies that aren't anything but some BS the manager comes up with just so they can take the cars home themselves. You walk in and they immediately look you up and down and determine what you can rent and what they won't give you. I have walked in asking for a truck and with 5 on the lot they say all of those are reserved. I drive by after closing and all but one is still on the lot. Maybe they could give a shit about money but it seems like they'd rather make it look like they have e stock but they don't let anyone rent them. It seems like it was easier to rent a premium vehicle when I was 21 then now that I'm 35. Sorry enterprise but your staff has really led your company downhill and furthermore lost a loyal customer. I used to bring vehicles back detailed, not cleaned, but detailed and turn key for the next person. Now i will be going with AVIS. read more

I am so upset with this location that I don't even know where to start. I made a booking 3 weeks early. I called to confirm that they had the luxury vehicle style I wanted 2 weeks before. I also called 2 days before to confirm they had the vehicle I wanted or something lose. I was told they could not tell me exactly what they would have until the day up. I understood that. I showed up for my 12 PM appointment and had to wait outside under a canopy for 45 minutes. When they finally called my name, I said I'm not seeing any luxury vehicles here. At that time I was told they do not have any luxury vehicles on this lot. I was instantly upset due to the fact that I had specifically called to make sure they had these type of vehicles at this location. The employee proceeded to show me a Hyundai SUV. At this point I was very upset because how do you go from requesting a luxury vehicle like a Mercedes or BMW to a Hyundai. I was then shown a land rover discovery. When I explained to the employee that I had a very bad back and needed something for comfort. I was told these were my only two options. I had no other choice but to take the Land Rover. I was scheduled to leave in the morning for my trip, my ride had already dropped me off, and since they are not doing courtesy shuttles I had no other means to go out and find a separate rental at another company. I took the rental and that was the worst mistake I've done. I had an 8 Hour drive to Lake Tahoe with a sweater rolled up between my seat and my back. I was so uncomfortable in this car that I could barely walk when I got out. Long story short I feel that this office was completely dishonest with me from the start. If they would have just told me they don't have luxury vehicles I could have went to a different enterprise or a different company. I had the pleasure of getting Ryan Harris to help me out last last weekend with a car rental for my trip to Vegas. He was a very personable, savvy representative. He helped me find the best car deal that would suit my needs and budget. I was about to get a Nissan Altima, but then he hooked me up with a sporty convertible Mustang to cruise in! :) Those enterprise associates are really looking out for you. Insurance and coverage fees get a little confusing and daunting for amateur car renters, but he was really patient and helped me out. I was completely satisfied with the deal. I really appreciated all the perks and help! The return was super easy too. Just rolled in, Gregg checked the car out, gave him the keys, and I was on my way! I think the only time I had to sign my name was in the electronic contract on the iPad when I was first renting the car. And then they emailed me the bill, contract, etc. Super fast and easy. I'm pretty mind-blown with how easy and hassle free it was to get the car. Enterprise even offered me a ride home to my place, even though I was a little bit out of their driving radius, if it wasn't a busy time. I usually don't write reviews much but I had a bad experience with this place. I went to rent a car from them because I was in an accident and the other persons insurance said they would pay for it. Since this place was across the street from cerritos collision where my car was being fixed I said lets try it. The person who helped me was a big caucasion man named Alex. After giving them the insurance info he said he did not know how much they would cover and that the only car they had in the lot was an expensive luxury car that I did not need. He told me if I wanted another car I had to wait a couple hours. I told him that I would take whatever the insurance covered so he tells me I should take this car and once he figures out the insurance if it is not covered than he will call me back to switch it out with another car. So I say fair enough and wait a day. He doesn't call me back so I call him and ask if he found out and he said his computers are down but he will call me in an hour. He never calls me back so I assume that everything is covered because surely he would not let me pay all these extra charges when I tried not to pay out of pocket. I'm fully insured but I paid for the coverage as well because I didn't want to take a chance with the expensive car I had. Long story short I return the car and they tell me the insurance only covers a small part of the rental. i told them it was unprofessional to not get back to me and they discount me 50 dollars which was nice but not enough considering I accrued about $200 dollars of extra charges that I would have avoided had they got back to me in a timely manner. Thanks alot Alex I'm not sure if that was their way of making more money or just employee negligience but he just lost them a potential returning customer along with me advising anyone I know not to do business with them and the people reading this review. Rented a car to go on a Vegas trip. Although I had to wait a very long time to get the car they were very accomodating (I showed up earlier than my reservation). We received the car on an empty tank, when we returned it the car had a little over a quarter of gas left-- rather than them give us "tough luck you were supposed to return it as we gave it to you," type of attitude, the gentleman who helped us (I do not remember his name) gave us a card indicating that on our next rental we would be credited for that amount of fuel. Btw, the tank was on empty but they did offer to fill it up for us, we chose to take the car on empty we really just wanted to hit the road. Thank you Enterprise, I have rented before and I would definitely rent here again!!! The only thing I would definitely say I do not like is that they never really have the same staff. I used to rent at the Norwalk branch regularly and their staff would constantly change. The customer doesnt get to opporunity to establish a relationship with any of their reps bc of these constant changes... not sure why they do this but I honestly dont like it. The staff is always friendly but it would be nice to see a familiar face once in awhile. read more

While this place isn't the be all, end all of service-oriented establishments, I've never experienced as bad a time as everyone else. This is actually my primary rental car place, simply because I believe that as long as you come prepared, you should be good. I dinged a star because despite being a HUGE location (relative to other Enterprises I've been to) they never seem to have the model I reserve (or even the other 'alternatives' that Enterprise lists on their website). Sure, they have equivalent models and as long as you stay in the same class you don't pay anything extra, but it'd be nice if they actually took your reservation a little more seriously & tried their darndest to get the car you select. I dinged another star because they are quick to haggle you & try to sway you into an upgrade. Just be thick-skinned. I've probably rented over 10 times from here, and it really depends on who you get; the proposition can range from, "I know you reserved a Ford Taurus, & we have a Toyota Camry...but for only twenty more dollars a day you can get a Lexus Hybrid, which is a much nicer model." to the horrid car-salesman-like pitch of, "I know you reserved a Ford Taurus, & while we have a Camry here, do you really want to drive to Vegas in a CAMRY? You want to floss in a Lex-O, right?" The former is fine, as they have a job to do, but the latter is condescending & uncalled for. Granted it only happened once, but I wanted to mention it in case you run into a similar pitch. With that said, like I mentioned, just be educated. Make your reservation, stand your ground, & everything is really quick & painless. I usually reserve online, show up, allow them to explain my options, stick with the class of car that I reserved, decline all insurance (please ensure your own insurance has as comprehensive coverage for rentals as mine), & be impeccable during the inspection. If you see a ding, ask them nicely to document it. They say "golf ball-sized or larger", but just have them circle it on the check out slip anyway. That way you can be comfortable that everyone is on the same page. You can do a lot worse than this location for a car rental. I can say with confidence that I'm satisfied whenever I rent from here. read more

After talking to some friends I found out this is common practice so I stopped renting cars altogether. I travel a lot, but I will never rent a car again. She made a reservation, got dropped off, and then they told her she couldn't rent a car because her residential address is in another city. ALSO!!!! They can't provide a ride to their other location?!?! Home is 4 miles away and the other location is 5. And they sent her walking with a car seat and our 4 year old son!!! If you don't have compassion for a parent by herself, carrying a car seat walking with her four year old son KNOWING FULL WELL it's a 4-5 mile walk for her, you shouldn't be in customer service. This location is a bit quirky. They talk to u as if you're selling a car. But like a Toyota dealership or something when I'm just renting... I've never experienced that at other enterprises. They also ask for a utility bill which I've never had at other locations, which adds to the quirkiness. Staff is cool. Did not catch corona virus using the car so that's good. read more

If you go Enterprise, no other place to go but here in Studebaker Cerritos, by the Auto Square. Richard Sakai is superlatively impressive. I wanted to exchange a car and the only available sedan was a Jaguar. He rented it to me according to the value my insurance allowed. However I was not comfortable with its driving features and so I had to do another exchange. No problem for Richard. Even though busy, he resolved my issue, with levity and promptness. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Darianne Henson asked whether I needed the coverage Enterprise offers, and explained the advantage of getting one .. without any pressure. Of course, I did. And willingly. She is personable and fun. Dustin is another staff member who you should ask for. He will help you with your questions. I even asked for advice regarding car choices and he took the time to give the pros and cons of certain brands. They surely want you to be happy with their service and they want you to be up and going at no time. Friendly and Welcoming, Fast and Efficient, Fun and Helpful - these qualities set these Enterprise guys apart from the pack. read more
