Need to rent a vehicle and of course they are not answering phones during operating hours.

BE VERY CAREFUL dealing with this branch. I rented a car from them for three weeks due to my car being in the shop. Although my insurance covered the majority of the cost, I upgraded $13 a day for a better car. I paid the $100 extra for Enterprise insurance. What I did not know was that they changed the insurance to $637. Very scandalous! When I told this to my insurance company, my Claims Adjuster attempted to call Enterprise several times, but no one ever answered the phone. I can never speak about anyone else's experiences with a company. I can only speak about my own experience. All I am saying in this review is be careful dealing with this branch. Make sure you agree in writing to everything. Ask questions. See ALL their paperwork. Look at their computer screen before agreeing to anything. My insurance company and I believe the employee upgraded their insurance, but I never saw the screen on their computer, allowing the employee to add whatever he wanted. Had an appt. set for this morning to pick up a truck. No trucks available even though insurance set it up the day before. Male desk person working this morning attempted to side-step. He finally admitted he had fallen behind and never enter my reservation. Very disappointed. read more

Had a reservation. Arrived and no car available for three days. Made me research solving the problem myself - no help. Also - I called ahead to confirm it - they wouldn't answer the phone even with four people in the office. (I watched them ignore call after call while there when I discovered they had no car for me.). I also called Enterprise main phone to try to confirm my appointment, but they just transferred me to the branch who wouldn't answer the phone. read more

Enterprise did not show up to pick me up at Chapa Collision today after I dropped my car off. I had to call my husband to pick me up. You should not charge the insurance company for today's car rental. read more

I was in a small accident while I had there vehicle. The vehicle was still fine to drive so they advised me to keep using it until it was time to turn it in. During this time, the insurance claim was settled and the other party's insurance accepted responsibility. I gave over all the information to Enterprise. A couple weeks later, they send me a bill for the damages. When I called to get it resolved they had no interest in taking the insurance information. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, they did not care to resolve the issue and hung up on me. read more

We were in need of a rental due to a vehicle break down. This location was very helpful, rented us a brand new vehicle - and even came & picked us up. The car was perfect for our needs and after hours drop off was simple. We did have another need to rent a car a short time later and, unfortunately, they had no availability. read more

The people at this enterprise location will put on a friendly face then stab you as soon as you turn around. If you are looking for friendly service AND people you can trust, look elsewhere, even if it means a little drive. From my single experience here, these guys are completely incompetent. They were supposed to seek reimbursement from the insurance of the person who rear-ended me for some mandatory insurance on my rental. I offered to stay while we got it in order, but they assured me they would take care of it. The next day they charge MY credit card for the amount owed and I called the same day to have the charge reversed they said it was "impossible" to reverse the charge and that I would have to seek re-imbursement through the insurance company. Obviously any credit card transaction is reversible. Terrible service and bad people who obviously don't care about making good on a mistake. Stay away! read more

I was really impressed with how everyone was so helpful in choosing a rental when I had my accident. Tyler was the best! Every time I would call to ask what my grand total for everything was, he always took the time to tell me and made me feel important. This was a great place. read more

Complete rip-off. They supposedly were to charge their "special rate" for a customer having his automobile repaired locally. Got a small Kia. Bill for 7 days + 4 hours: $387. Just checked: Avis in Buda quotes $233 for a similar sized Hyundai. Stay away. read more

I cant say enough about all the staff, management, and drivers at this branch. Eric and his crew always go above and beyond to make sure they satisfy their customers. In this pandemic it has been so hard to get a rental car and I bet its been even more frustrating for the employees trying to place us in the rental cars. I would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. They lack organization, professionalism, and inventory. My insurance company set up a reservation on my behalf following an accident that I was involved in and I was sent a priority fast pass via email. I completed each component and set up a pick up date, as well as a time. The next morning, I patiently waited for an individual to pick me up, considering I received a confirmation email verifying that everything was set up. Approximately 3 minutes after my anticipated pick up time, I called and the representative was wildly confused. She mentioned that reservations online do not include dates or times, therefore they were unaware that I needed to be picked up. She also mentioned that I should have called earlier to set up pick up specifics, although I was under the impression that I had already done that when I completed the online forms. She indicated that they could arrive in the next 18 minutes. I expressed to her my grievances and how inconvenient this situation was, told her that although I do not like the situation that it was my only option that would allow me to be at work in a timely manner, and CONFIRMED that I still wanted services before I disconnected the call. An hour passed and they still had not arrived and I called them back and the representative was very rude, unprofessional, and accusatory saying that they didn't think that I needed services any longer because I "cursed her coworker out and hung up in her face," which was not true. Furthermore, she mentioned that they couldn't pick me up, although I am only 6 miles from that given location. I was not informed that they were not coming nor that they don't drive to my area until a chunk of my time was wasted. She also indicated that I could call another location that was closer to me and do business with them, and turned my business down. I attempted to call other branches and they ALL had low inventory and did not have what I needed, which I cannot understand from a rental company. I will never rent from this location or any other location associated with this company again. I took my business to Hertz and had my insurance company authorize the switch. read more

Needed a rental for body shop repairs. None available due to recent hail, etc. No problem, I can wait. Waited almost a week, called around lunch time a week later-as that was when I said I needed to pickup. No car was available because I apparently was scheduled for 8am. No phone call....no message.....nothing. Just a "we assumed you weren't coming when you didn't show up at 8am". Very poor customer service. read more

It has been almost a WEEK. I dropped my vehicle off at a local repair shop and had a reservation to pick up a rental with Enterprise. Due to the amount of claims, they did not have a car for me which was perfectly fine. They told me they would call me at 6 pm to ensure everything was fine and they could try to push me for the next day: nothing. No call. I waited a day and called the next day, someone named "Eric" said they would personally call me that evening to confirm the reservation but guess what: Nothing. No phone call, no help. I have been waiting for the call for a week now. A firm NO is better than being led on and just waiting for a phone call with nothing. It would be a bit more professional if the workers were to actually deliver customer service rather than continuously lead customers on false implications. I understand if there are no vehicles available, but if you're gonna say you're going to call a customer stick to your word. That is what a low cost rental agency would act like and to my knowledge, Enterprise isn't that. read more

Customer service here is ridiculously amazing. After having a horrible day and wreck I made a reservation through my auto insurance. They came to pick me up from my home and when I didn't have my license to get my reservation they offered to take me back home multiple times even though I had a ride on the way. They still went over all other options with me and attempted to help as best they could. I was really upset and went to sit alone outside and they INSISTED that I come inside and take a seat. Very helpful very friendly people. I would recommend this location to anyone. They made my day. read more

This Buda location had horrendous follow up customer service when I called them to inquire why my rental was not credited since I returned the car a day earlier than was estimated. I initially reserved and "pre-paid", and was charged, for two days. When my car was repaired quicker than anticipated, I called the location to let them know I would be returning within 24 hours and asked to ensure I was only going to be charged for 1 day. Upon returning the car I was told that the credit would be issued. I was happy with the service and vehicle at this point. It was only when I called them to inquire (about 7 days later) that I was told because I "pre-paid" and got a slightly lower rate that makes me ineligible for a credit. Obviously I was upset and asked them to escalate it to Corporate. They declined and ended their call with me after I spoke with several more representatives. I called the Enterprise 800 number immediately after I hung up and a gracious representative completed the necessary paperwork to do the credit with no issue at all. My review is based only on that location as I believe they could have done much more to accommodate. read more

This particular Enterprise was very un-accommodating. To start this unpleasant experience, when we arrived at the Enterprise office we were not greeted by the Enterprise employee sitting behind the desk. Apparently she was way too busy checking her cell phone to even acknowledge us or let us know if someone would help us. Secondly we were advised by Grant that because my sister already had an Enterprise rental car she was using for work, which is strictly to be used ONLY for work, that she could not rent another car for her personal use. So, to sum up, if a person uses a rental car for their work even if it is paid for by that persons work, that person cannot use another Enterprise rental car for their personal use until the rental that is being used for work is returned. Lame. ..... Update ..... On 6/10/2017 I sent the Enterprise customer service department at care@Enterprise.com a very detailed account of my experience and received a quick response advising that my issue had been escalated to upper management. To date I have not heard back from anyone in upper management or at Enterprise customer service. Are there so many issues that Enterprise cannot get back in what is now 2 weeks, or did my issue just get deleted from their email que? I may never know. Really classy Enterprise. read more

The location is the most unorganized, reservations aren't followed up on and the manager is clueless and rude.

I just went there to get a car for the week and arrived right at 7:30 but the place looked closed so I started to call them and then heard a loud banging on our hood and I look up and see some pissed off dude with an enterprise shirt and a navy ball cap on banging on the hood of our Cadillac like it's a old tv that won't work and then I start to roll down my window to figure out wtf his problem is and he starts waving us away like we're a heard of cattle and saying something along the lines of "move you can't park here get over there". Needless to say we won't be going there again and went we went to another enterprise I told them what happened and they knew exactly who I was talking about and said he washes cars there and they didn't seem too surprised so it's a safe bet he's done this bs before. read more

This was by far the worst rental experience ever. They gave my mom such a hard time when it came to her rental. We had a horrible car wreck and her car was not drivable. When she tried to get her rental Katie, told her she had an SUV for her because that is what she needed for work. Upon arrival, Tiffany greeted us with the biggest attitude and I knew from that point it wasn't going to be a pleasant experience. Tiffany had told my mom that she was not going to receive a SUV after Katie had told her the day before that she was. Katie came to "help" Tiffany with the situation, Katie didn't own up to her actions until Tiffany called the insurance to see if my mom was "eligible" for an "upgrade." It was a huge mess and once Tiffany hung up the phone she told my mom "see it was that easy to call" in a snarky tone. That was beyond rude. Never again will we come here and I certainly don't recommend anybody else coming here. read more

I had to use this enterprise location for the car rental covered by my car insurance after a recent collision where my own vehicle was totaled. Wow... the WORST place I have EVER rented from. (I typically rent a few times a year for travel for work.) (1) No inventory, so I was stuck with a full size. (costing more than insurance would cover) (2) The vehicle was dirty and not in great condition. (3) When I returned the vehicle they 'discovered' minor damage on the rear bumper which I KNOW was there before. The enterprise representative did the most intense inspection of the vehicle upon return I have ever seen. This in spite of the fact that when I picked up the vehicle the representative rushed me through a quick superficial inspection (and therefore I did not notice or record this damage). If for some reason you must rent from these people, make sure to record EVERY SCRATCH on your pre-inspection documentation! I promise I will never rent from this location again and hope that others will avoid them as well. read more

Well this place sucks. I'm only being forced to use them because of my insurance claim. I called the number listed as the store number and booked an appointment for pick up that same day at 11:30. They asked for a $50 deposit, which I didn't have. I explained that I was hit yesterday and need my car fixed ASAP since this is my only transportation to work. The worker didn't give two craps about my financial situation and just kept saying "sorry I can't do anything for you". I even explained I could pay half, but he wasn't having it. AND he also proceeded to tell me that they won't have a car till tomorrow. I explained that I had literally just booked a car and he was like "well we are booked. Sorry." He tried to tell me I spoke to the reservation and now I'm speaking to the store??? Okay well I called the store. I can't help where I get transferred to. So even if I were able to pay the $50, it sounds like they would've just left me stranded at the collision center. OR he lied to me. Sooo now I have to wait an entire week before getting my car fixed all because he wasn't even willing to drop $25 off. RIDICULOUS. read more

It's a small location, so I can understand when in an emergency they might not have inventory; but when you are able to plan ahead and schedule, they''ve had what I've needed. Was in a big rush to pick up my reserved car and the employees said I had to pay forr the optional insurance. I told them that my American Express credit card covered it but they still said it was required. Not ever having to pay it I checked the Enterprise web site and called them back. I was told I need to come in to fix this. When I got there they lied and said they never said I had to take the insurance. Caution: Do not trust the Enterprise Rent Car location in Buda, Texas. I received a rental car there when someone ran into my personal car. I returned the car in the same condition as when I received it. There was a small scratch near the front, driver's side. The man accompanying me to sign for the car when I first received it observed it, as did I. I thought nothing of it because it was so small and because it appeared the man accompanying me likewise saw it and thought nothing of it. When I returned the car, the local manager pretended to look to see if the scratch had been previously documented. However, he had no photos to show one way or the other. Unfortunately, neither did I. He wanted me to sign papers for a claim against my insurance -- for a mark I did not make. I refused. Unknown to me, he then put me on a Do Not Rent list. When I later went to get a rent car in Portland, Oregon, Alamo Car Rental said it was affiliated and could not rent to me -- even though it had taken my registration money. Fortunately, I got an Uber instead and got Expedia to refund me. My take: Do not trust or rent from this outfit unless you take a complete set of photos of the car. Worst place ever ..manager is smug and condescending. We were told ome thing about the coverage at pick up and they ended up charging us three times on what we agreed too. You can tell its a scam to get people to pay more..never again and will pass on to everyone... read more

I rent here almost weekly and I always get great service. I've seen a few different managers come and go, but the service is always great. It is a small location but they can get what you need. read more
