I've been on hold multiple times for over 45 min each time, they just ignore the phone. Also, double check your reservation because certain associates will remove your damage waiver, supplemental liability protection, and roadside assistance AFTER you've signed up for them. Then if you get into an accident, like we did, then you're screwed with the bill. "Allen" the manager is the absolute WORST and is a lazy and irresponsible manager. Due to the extremely aggressive behavior of branch manager David Hoffman, I repeatedly called Enterprise corporate and requested that his supervisor return my call to discuss Mr Hoffman's rude and aggressive behavior but my calls were never returned. I had a reservation and it shouldn't matter when it was made. If you don't have a car available, don't accept the reservation. It is absolutely inexcusable for Mr Hoffman to start yelling at me "you only made your reservation 30 minutes ago!" When I asked him to then find me another car he screamed you can leave! read more

We had a really unfortunate experience with this Enterprise back in December 2020 where the manager offered us a free upgrade for our special engagement trip. The upgrade however ended up not being free of charge, and we were hit with an unexpected extra bill at the end of our trip. After calling this Enterprise location several times, we were unable to reach a branch manager but reassured by staff that these charges would be taken care of when they looked into our account and prior agreement. The branch manager finally called us back six weeks later and told us that it was too late to remove the extra charges and that by taking the upgrade we would be required to pay the extra fees that we were never made aware of throughout the reservation process. This is really unfortunate, as we have an Enterprise account and have been very loyal customers of this particular Enterprise location in the past. read more

Read this slowly. Read it carefully. These people aren't running a car rental agency. They're running a COLLECTION agency. You as a customer are an inconvenience to them. Don't worry, though because they have a "totally reasonable" explanation as to why you, the customer, "aren't THEIR customer". They'll explain to you, AFTER your insurance makes a reservation and AFTER you've made arrangements in your day to get to their location that you can't rent a car. First, you'll walk in and hear a lady leaving an unpleasant voicemail to a customer who apparently is late returning their car (because that's the kind of thing you want to hear in a customer lobby). Then, the person at the counter will inform you of things that weren't specified prior to your arrival ... that you HAVE to have a credit card to pay the deposit. They'll then pass you off to the manager. He's sitting 10 feet away. But you'll have to wait for him. So that he can tell you the same thing. When you inform him that you weren't aware. He'll say "okay" and then just stare at you. He'll continue to stare at you because CLEARLY you didn't go to car rental college. You're not a big time Car Rental University graduate, so this is all your fault. See how long you can just sit there staring at each other. Make it a contest. Count out loud or something. Hell, bring beer. Bring TWO beers. Make no mistake about it ... zero ... You don't owe this PAWN shop an apology. Enterprise Car Rental of Dripping Springs, You're fired. p.s. This is one of those local businesses that we all rely on but rarely remember to acknowledge on Yelp unless something goes wrong. Nothing has gone wrong and I'm taking a moment to send kudos to this very well-run Enterprise Rent-a-Car location. I've used the Dripping Springs branch for car rental at least a half-dozen times over the years and have always received excellent service. Their staff is well-trained and it's obvious that the manager stresses customer service because each and every representative of Enterprise at the DS location has bent over backwards to provide prompt, courteous and FRIENDLY service, whether it's a normal car lease or a stressful (for me) emergency situation. Their Pick-Up service is standard with Enterprise, but it's sometimes offered somewhat begrudgingly at other locales - not at Dripping. Our local Enterprise office never makes you feel as though they are doing you a favor by picking you up and returning you to your home. It adds a "neighborly" aspect to the transaction of renting a car that is absent with other rental companies, IMHO, and certainly goes a long way toward building customer loyalty. I am sitting here right now typing this review while waiting for my neighbor, Enterprise in DS, to come pick me up and get me on my way to parts unknown in one of their cars, and they apologized for me having to wait a little bit. No problem at all. In fact, I hope it's the woman who picked me up the last time so we can continue our pleasant conversation. Neighborly - yep. Yesterday, after leaving my car at the body shop, I was picked up by Enterprise and carried back to their office to rent a car while my car is being repaired. I had made a reservation the previous week, and I was quoted one price on the phone, but when I got there, the price had more than DOUBLED, so I decided to just stay at home without a car during this time. That is when the trouble started....when I needed a ride to get AWAY from the Enterprise office. I asked the Enterprise employee, JAIME, to give me a ride to my house, so I could leave, and he refused, and he smirked at my displeasure, while saying (repeatedly and annoyingly, like a 2nd grader), "I will give you a ride back to the body shop." The body shop is at least 10 miles from my house (and about the same distance from Enterprise), in the opposite direction, and this was all happening at closing time for both businesses, so had they done that, I would have been dropped off at a remote, rural, closed business. Since this all happened in a rural community that does not have taxis or buses, I was stuck, a long way from home, someplace I truly did not wish to be any longer. And I guess because I was not going to be their customer after all, Jaime no longer felt like he needed to be nice to me, or be helpful in any way. Jaime was a disgrace to the whole notion of customer service, and found my situation "humorous," while my plans to easily rent a car, drive away and deal with my car repairs fell apart. He could have easily just asked the same employee who had brought me to their office, to take me home, but he would not. I was left stranded, after being stymied by a higher price than I had agreed to. I felt like a hostage at the Enterprise office, simply wanting to go home and forget the whole interaction. I finally was able to get my neighbor to come and pick me up. I will NEVER deal with these people again, well not as long as the rude, immature, arrogant and unhelpful Jaime is working there. read more

I got in a car accident and my car was "sent" to the Dripping Springs area. I got off work 10 minutes before they closed and called them. Shawn told me he didn't have a car for me, and that I'd have to go to another location in the same city my accident was in. Stressful. I called the other location to confirm my reservation, and they told me my car was sent to Dripping Springs; the same place Shawn just told me he didn't have a car for me. I called Shawn again and explained my confusion, where I was repeatedly met with, "Like I said" and that he only takes care of his "A clients." And didn't have a car available for me. ??? Anyway. Terrible franchise. Make a reservation for a premium sedan for an entire week. They have the nerve to call me yesterday to confirm my reservation. I show up today and no sedan. Just a crummy Rav4 that is supposedly an upgrade. And I'm told by the agent that the location i was told to pick up my premium sedan doesn't ever carry premium sedans. So they're essentially crooks. The staff had everything ready to for me on arrival and I was in and out the door in no time. Picking up my rental took less than 15 mins at most and maybe 5 mins tops when I was turning it back in, and the car was impeccably clean. I have been renting from Enterprise regularly for about eight years, and plan to for many more years. What I like: 6. They are available everywhere! And close to home. 5. The rates are reasonable (I rent 99% of the time off-airport). 4. The cars are almost always available with short notice, and the occasional cancellation is no big deal. 3. Many times they will upgrade me for free if the class of car I rented is not available. 2. The people are always friendly and in most cases fair. 1. The best reason...they pick you up and take you home, except in rare circumstances. I have never seen people work harder than they do. Brandy and Mike at my current location have been great to work with. But you can't get too attached. Enterprise moves their staff around allot. Remember my comment about their hard work. read more

A month ago I needed a rental car. I rented a car from Enterprise, Dripping Springs, TX, because their office was next to the car collision shop. The issues with the car as I was driving it, the tires pressure were low; there were Cheetos crumbs in the console; and the windshield fluid did not work. I stopped by and reported all these issues. They vacuumed out the Cheetos; filled the tire pressure in all tires, and they added windshield fluid. All seemed good until I needed to use the windshield fluid on a rainy day. Though the windshield fluid was filled, no cleaner was being sprayed on the front windshield. The cleaner was being released to the ground, which meant a hose was disconnected. I brought the car back to Enterprise and informed them, I was told they didn't have time to fix that. A few days after I returned the car, I received a call from Enterprise asking me how my experience was. I mentioned the several items I had with the car. The person on the phone asked if I'd like to speak with another person (supervisor) about this and I replied, yes. I was told I would get a call during the week to follow up. I never received a call back to voice my concerns about their service and the maintenance condition of their vehicles. However, on a good note. The Staff were friendly. read more

I wish it were ZERO stars. The new manager does not know customer service. I was treated disrespectfully. Not a "Good day ma'am. We have your reservation here. Should we hold it for you?" NO, I got a call from the manager saying I am late for the reservation. Sharing I was coming in a few hours. He said I can't guarantee as we have people that may need a car. You know we are busy. I needed a light colored vehicle for the materials that I travel with and heat would certainly destroy it. He had no concern and even made me feel disprespected for my request. He is immature AND arrogant. I felt like I was at a hot dog stand and he was telling me to move over because we have other customers. I called in complaint and he calls me on it. I said yes I did! Well the report was wrong because it said you called me. I said NO I told service you called me. Than I said are we really going to get into this? He said, do you want a car? No apology. He "can't do this, can't do that". I cancelled. Enterprise, you made a big mistake in putting him in charge. Pushing people around is NOT the ENTERPRISE WAY.
