Second time I've rented a vehicle at this location. Although they did not have the vehicle at the desired time, they made it right and I picked up the vehicle a few hours later. Marcus deserves a raise or promotion for his customer service, attention to detail and patience. Finding these qualities in one person is not easy to find. Terrible experience!!!! Had a car reserved for 7:30am. At 8:45, we were told that our only options were to downgrade to a smaller car that wasn't even there yet, or wait another half hour for a technician to clear a car with a check engine light. We should have been told there was no car for us the minute we walked through the door. Not after we'd been sitting there waiting for an hour. Better still? If you really need a car, go someplace else! We made a reservation several days ago, and when we went in to pick up the car, we were told that they didn't have one, only a pick up truck. They told us they called and left a message. No call, no message. When I asked about other locations, they would not check, but gave me a phone number. After going through three people on the phone, I was told that a car was available in a different location. I drove through town in rush-hour only to find that they did not have a vehicle there. My job often requires me to get rental cars from anywhere from a day to a couples weeks. Russell is the store manager and always makes sure to help me to the best of his ability. For me, renting with them is easy peasy. Only complaint would be to have more workers on site to help with the busy hours but, Russ does his best to help everyone in a timely manor without making the customer feel rushed. I had an emergency car situation yesterday that caused me to call Enterprise to rent a vehicle. I initially called the Fairfax branch and spoke to two very nice folks, who weren't able to get a driver to pick me up for a couple of hours. As I was in immediate need, they helped me greatly by calling the Burke Branch to see if they could pick me up sooner. They indeed could and Doug at the Burke branch was able to quickly retrieve my reservation from Fairfax and have their wonderful driver Dee pick me up. Processing the rental was super fast and easy. I was put into a brand new, immaculate Hyundai subcompact (I didn't need larger) and was on my way. Returning the vehicle too today was a breeze. Dee again drive me back to where I was staying. A very cheerful and polite young woman who willingly engaged in friendly small talk. I paid $32/day with unlimited miles, which friends and family were pleasantly surprised to hear. Ive used this location twice when getting my cars fixed. Both times the place has been undermanned, making what should be a quick trip into a painfully slow experience. You walk in and someone is there at a desk but they dont appear to have a job that includes helping you or even saying "hello, someone will be right with you." You wait with the other customers/cattle in the holding pen, waiting to check out or return your car. Then when the only person who works there can help you returns she ends up answering the phone and not helping you. If enterprise wants to use this business location they should at least hire enough people to service the customers. Moooo. One of my fellow cattle just escaped the holding pen. I hope to be next when the employee returns from checking out the car. But the phone is ringing so Ill have to wait for that... read more

Collision center took longer than expected for repairs but I was out of time under car insurance policy. Needed an extra week but wasn't sure where to go. We recently used the Burke Enterprise to rent a family van. Russell the branch manager was incredible to work with. He was very friendly and patient and made sure our van was exactly the way we wanted it when we drove it off the lot. Car was ready exactly when we were scheduled to pick it up. We had to return the van a day earlier than planned and Russell made that easy too! I The location on Burke Road is very convenient to all of burke center and surrounds. It is in a small shopping center so there is plenty of room to get in and out making it a lot easier than some other rental car places that are at hotels, on busy highways or at body shops. I would highly recommend using the Burke Enterprise, it is the best Enterprise experience we have ever had and one of the top rental car experiences we have had anywhere. read more

Terrible service and I rent a lot of cars from a lot of rental companies for business and pleasure. They closed one minute to closing time and did not want me to come in on a holiday weekend to pickup my car. Then, a customer pleaded and the gentleman at the counter finally let me in. He advised me he no longer had economy cars and I would have to pay for the upgrade. Black female from the back started arguing with me and insisted I needed to pay for the upgrade. I asked to speak with a Manager but they said he was gone for the day. Asked if they would call enterprise in Dulles as a courtesy and they said their phones wont allow them to call Dulles. Then the gentleman did call on his cell phone finally but said there were no more small cars at Enterprise in Dulles with the matching rate. I got online on my phone and got a better rate at Dulles and great service at Dulles also. Spoke with Enterprise 1-800 customer service and they were very pleasant. Manager of this location Doug called me back but it was way after I had left. Definitely will never rent from this place or recommend them. Hope this lady will get an attitude adjustment and the other employees learn a thing or so about customer service. An embarrassment to Enterprise. read more

The guys who work at this location are SO friendly. They make sure that every customer who walks through the door is helped. They apologize if there is a delay in getting your car. They go over the 'infamous' car insurance, and their cars are clean. I definitely recommend this local place! read more

I have used Enterprise at the Burke or Springfield locations several times, often to rent cargo vans (you know, moving a college student around!), and love the convenience of their locations. Staff has always been friendly and efficient, and has offered to pick me up, drop me off, etc. Recently, the van I wanted could only be located at the Tyson's shop, so they offered to take me there. Fortunately, a cargo van showed up before I could leave Burke. I'd say Enterprise staff has the customer in mind, always trying to please. Sometimes the car they promise might not be available (some people do not return cars on time, etc.), but they always try to make it right. Checking a vehicle back in is a breeze. Was referred to this location by my car insurance company, and the woman who answered the phone was unwilling to help at all. I kept explaining my situation and what I needed. They didn't have the type of car I reserved. I asked if she could find other Enterprises in the area that might have it, look in a database or something, but she just kept saying we only have compacts. I offered to take the compact and drive it to a different locations and exchange it for the car I reserved, but she wouldn't offer to check with other locations to find the car, or I'm sure there is some number she could have called or database she could have looked in. Very poor customer service at this location. I finally called the insurance company back and they got me the car type I reserved at a different location. Absolutely frustrating company. I needed a rental car because i got in an accident ad my car was at the shop. First they told me i could come in at 10am to pick up the car. Once i got there they told me they did not have a car ready so yet i had to uber home and back again to get my rental. They told me i could drop the rental car off at the body shop when i was picking up my own car. I was worried something would happen. I did a full inspection of the car before i dropped it off and there was no damage. But somehow between the rental getting dropped of at the body shop and getting back to enterprise there was a dent under the passenger side door which they ended up charging me $420 for and did not tell me they were going to be charging my card. There was NO dent when i dropped the car off. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Where should I start. I thought it would be very easy smooth process since everything was set from USAA to Caliber Collision Center and Enterprise. Well USAA and Caliber Collision defiantly did there part for sure, with them everything went very smoothly. Unfortunately I had to wait for Enterprise person "John Trope" for an hour. Young Lady from Bodyshop was very helpful told John Enterprise guy Mr Shin is waiting for you but He just walked away didn't even acknowledge me. He was very rude and smirked at me twice. I couldn't believe this jackass said to me " I didn't know you were waiting for me, I didn't know and no one told me (which is bullshit)", "You should have come to me and told me", (Really? Like I knew your desk some where at the bodyshop) Bottom line I've had it with this Jackass John, he were mocking me and smirking while his writing down my info. My one week local rental could not have gone smoother, and with the best pricing I could not have gotten elsewhere. Very cordial & professional staff. Russell seems to be the point person there, or at least he was for me. The pick-up from my home 3 miles away and return ride were timely. Alex called me today and asked for information about my insurance... I told him to talk to office manager Gary at collision masters because he was the one who set up everything. I requested a refund and Alex manager is going to tell me he charged my card because I didn't cooperate with giving him my claim number... never should have given me the car if you didn't have all the info in your system as you so called claim! I love, love this company. They make renting a car so easy and the prices are very reasonable. When I need to rent a car for a road trip or refer a client for car rental, it is a no brainer. Enterprise is my one and only suggestion. The staff at Burke is exceptionally great. They make renting a car feel like you are borrowing a car from a relative. They will come pick you up when you need the car and when you need to return the car as well. On Saturday after noon, they are closed so you just need to park at their facility and drop the key in the drop box. They will follow up with you Monday morning acknowledging the return. It is that easy! Will definitely use them again and again. read more

Quick, friendly. nice cars. the only reason I don't give 5 stars is that sometimes when you are renting the car only has 1/8 tank of gas in it.. of course you only have to return it with 1/8 but right away, it is a slight inconvenience for the customer.. so that's where I would improve the experience for the customer. Should be zero stars. I had the worst customer experience ever when picking up an insurance vehicle (RA#: 1WFBRF) at the 9570 Burke Rd, Burke, VA. This was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and granted I was told there may not be the type of car I needed, which was an SUV. When I came into the location, it started with an apparent mispronunciation on my part of the name of the person who had called me earlier. I thought it was Daryl but I think it is Darius. Anyway, when I got there I asked for Daryl. He had me repeat the name as if I was purposely not calling him by his actual name. It turned out he was also the manager. I was offered a small sedan though he said there was an SUV at a location nearby. He couldn't go because that would require for him and a woman that was in the office (didn't get her name) to leave together to get that SUV and thereby having to close the office. I offered to go in the sedan with one of them to pickup the other vehicle but that's when things started to deteriorate. I presume my asking was taken as demands or something because the tone got harsher. Coincidentally, someone walked in returning an SUV. I offered to wait for it to be cleaned if it was available. The woman immediately said there was a reservation already so she couldn't release it. At this point I was having to deal with two people, not sure why she got involved as her attitude was confrontational to say the least. Anyway, I had been dropped off so I had to take the sedan. Then Darius opened the front door halfway and said in an ultimatum tone... Hey! Do you want the Hyundai or not? He said 'hey' again a couple more times so I said to him he should consider removing 'hey' from his vocabulary when speaking to customers. I said you know 'hay' is for horses. The woman then told me to 'get out' because I was disrespectful. I asked how so? She said I called him a horse. I said, no. He's the one referring to me by hey when it should be by my name, mister, or something like that. Given my constraint, I walked out to proceed with the car inspection. I got in the car but went back once more to ask Darius if he could call me if there was an SUV available later. He said he would do but when I asked if he could call me regardless if he found one or not so I wouldn't wait for it. He said he couldn't. So I finally said, could you guys be more difficult? The woman once again shouted at me to get out! I don't know what kind of training or requirements they have but that's not a way to treat customers. It's unacceptable and that woman should be fired. I called around several other locations and finally found an SUV which I was able to get instead. I will certainly never get a rental from Enterprise ever again. read more

First attempt to rent a car, they pick me up an hour late and drive me over and tell me you need a drivers license to rent a car which I lost during my car accident. Next day i had a 12 hour shift and needed to borrow my friends car to get to work. 2nd attempt they say they will come get me at 5pm then never show up. At 5:50 I call them, get put on hold 15 minutes and then at 6:05 they hang my phone call, I assume because they close at 6. Had to work 12 hours the next day had to borrow a friends car again. Her we go with attempt number 3... already been hung up on for no reason while talking to these people... read more
