Though it's a bummer to be towed, at least the service wasn't unpleasant. The building is slightly hard to find, behind the Mercedes dealership. The St. Charles church in Clarendon starts towing at 11pm on Saturdays. The costs my eye caught from the pricing board are something like: $135 - for a normally weighted car + $25 - on weekends + $25 - after hours + $25 - on holidays

Parked at 1010 N. Glebe Rd in a space marked "30-minute retail customer parking." My vehicle was…read moretowed by Advanced Towing after about 21 minutes (they told me it was spotted at 11:22 a.m. and towed at 11:43 a.m.). The charge was $160. What disturbed me most was what happened afterward. When I asked for details, the representative would not provide her name, would not cite any ordinance, and said the tow was done under a contract. I was also told the driver had been watching me, commented that I looked directly at him, and claimed I removed a parking pass because of him -- even though I had no idea anyone was monitoring me while I was parked. Hearing that was unsettling. When I went in person, the driver was aggressive and confrontational. His demeanor made me feel genuinely unsafe, like he was ready for a fight rather than a professional interaction. Even if towing is technically permitted under a contract, how people are treated matters. Being towed that quickly for short-term retail parking, combined with hostile behavior and surveillance/stalker-style comments, left a terrible impression. I will not return to businesses at that location, and I would strongly caution anyone parking near that building to be extremely careful.

I would never recommend this towing company or repair shop!! To be fair, the tow truck arrived…read morequickly as I was in the middle of I-66, but that's about it. After towing my vehicle, I was told it would either be looked at that evening or first thing the following morning. The company also refused to accept a credit card and only wanted payment through Cash App or Zelle. I even questioned it at the time but was on the side of interstate so didn't have much of a choice and paid the $150. ** The next day around noon, I went to the shop expecting to hear the diagnosis based on what I had been told. Instead, I found out they hadn't even started looking at my car. While I was there, I was shocked by the condition of the shop. IT'S DISGUSTING. I love cats, so this has nothing to do with animals being present. The cats roaming the building had VISIBLE fleas and ticks crawling all over them, there was heavy dust and hair and who knows what everywhere, trash scattered throughout the office and shop, and the entire place looked completely unsanitary and poorly maintained. I literally had to spray myself down before coming home so I didn't pass the bugs along to my dog. ‼‼ IF A BUSINESS CAN'T MAINTAIN A CLEAN WORKSPACE OR PROPERLY CARE FOR THE ANIMALS LIVING THERE, IT DOESN'T INSPIRE CONFIDENCE THAT THEY'LL PROPERLY DIAGNOSE OR REPAIR A CUSTOMER'S VEHICLE. To make matters worse, I wasn't informed until after I complained that there was a $150 diagnostic fee and a $75 per-night storage fee. That information should have been disclosed upfront. Because of this I then decided I wanted to take my car elsewhere to get a diagnosis. They refused to release my keys until I paid the fees for the car in the lot for less than 24 hours after failing to provide the service that was promised. *So, as many others, I called the police and filed a police report. This apparently happens all of the time at this business. Between the lack of communication, undisclosed fees, POOR customer service, and the DISGUSTING and I mean DISGUSTING condition of the shop itself, I will never return and advise you do the same. Unfortunately, I was not able to get pictures because the company locked all the doors to the office/shop immediately after they realized a police report was being filed and closed early. See y'all in civil court!
