UNETHICAL and horrible customer service. My in-laws who don't speak English well had their car vandalized and need to rent while it was being fixed. To add insult to injury, Enterprise added rental insurance onto their rental agreement without explaining what the additional cost was for. They already had rental insurance through State Farm. They ended up paying over $500 extra when returning the car for the insurance they didn't need. They are on a fixed income and this ate into their grocery and utility bills. When I tried to talk with the Manager Brittany, she said she'll call me back and never did. Called 2 more times to ask to speak with her and she never called me back. After many weeks of a busy schedule I was at last ready to take my car in to get it repaired from an accident that wasn't my fault. (Hit while parked in a parking garage). Her insurance company paid for Enterprise and they brought a car that smelled funny but I had to go and teach so I drove it to school and taught all day. My clothes smelled funny and my eyes were itchy and my nose began dripping and I had a headache! I called Enterprise roadside service and they said to go to Enterprise in Fishers to switch it out. While there, I smelled some people in the lobby and the car smelled like them. MARIJUANA! Wait! They told me not to smoke or have animals in the car! I follow rules! i could put a ' zero' ~ i had reservation and when I pick up the car I was told there is no car for me and I was told some body left me a message But actually I never got any messages from them. At first I think it's ok. I tried to ask the manager ( she is so rude and not helpful at all) to reschedule or checking another location ~ she is so aggressive insisting saying we have no car for you and not care about the mistake they made! I called and made a reservation for Mon Oct 15-Thur Oct 19. I specifically spoke to someone because they wanted to put me in a compact car and I told them I was supposed to have an equivalent car to mine so she had upgraded it to an intermediate size car. I dropped my car at the body shop and they said they had my reservation but it was made for the wrong date. On top of that, they had no vehicles available and did nothing to try to remedy the situation. I had to call the insurance company and they called Hertz on my behalf. It is an extreme inconvenience to me as I have to wait for a vehicle to be driven to me and missed way more work than I had planned. This is unacceptable. People need rentals because they have no vehicle so it is critical that you be able to make the reservations correctly. I know I said Monday the 15th, so I know I asked for the correct date. I also found it frustrating that no alternatives were offered to me. Enterprise should have at least offered to have a vehicle brought over from one of their many other locations. I dropped my '22 Subaru BRZ off to get fixed because someone hit it 4 months ago. My reservation with Enterprise was made then, in January. I received a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. This is a plug-in hybrid SUV. My BRZ is a tiny 2-door rear-wheel-drive sports car. In what universe are these comparable vehicles? Comparability aside, this is literally the worst car I have ever driven. The brake pedal sinks to the floor EASILY. You can jiggle the steering wheel around and drive in a straight line. It straight up feels unsafe. Is 4 months not enough notice to receive the class of car that you want? Should I tell the guy that hit me to maybe go back in time, and hit me a full 6 months ago instead? Or would 6 months not be enough time either? They did drive the car to the body shop when I got there, so I saved $12 to uber there. So...yay...you get one star instead of 0. Can I give you that $12 to not have to deal with this pathetic excuse for a car? read more

This novel coronavirus epidemic has been really scary for me. I was supposed to fly back from vacation in Santa Fe, but I decided to drive instead to minimize social contact. Social distancing is impossible in an airport or on an airplane! The Enterprise rental cost only $20/day for one-way drop-off. That is insanely cheap! With COVID-19 fears, I couldn't even convince my friend to pick me up after dropping off my rental. Enterprise generously offered to pay for me to take a Lyft back! However, that didn't appeal to me, as I have no idea what sanitary precautions are taken by Lyft/Uber drivers between passengers, plus who knows if your driver has it. At this point, the safest way for me to return the car was to have Enterprise pick it up at my house. Despite being short-staffed, that's exactly what they did! Don't even think about any other rental car company doing that. read more

Enterprise is great! The staff is all friendly, quick to answer the phone and are beyond helpful! I asked a ton of questions because my insurance booked the rental and I wanted to make sure everything was all set. The staff is like a well oiled machine in this covid environment and are doing a great job. Everyone is just so friendly and when I went to get my rental I had to wait but they multi tasked and made sure we could finish Up paper work while someone else finished cleaning the car. The girl that had been helping had to help someone else and I saw my car was ready--her coworker grabbed the keys and got me finished up. Great team work and wonderful customer service! Highly recommend! I will say don't go to a rental place thinking you'll be done in 5 min, several people showed up in a hurry expecting the cars to be done already. So if you go into the mind set of I may have to wait a few while they clean my car or do something it's fine. A few other customers I think came in with the mind set of everything had to done now which I think really isn't fair. The workers did a great job handling everyone even when busy. Made a reservation over a month ago to be picked up from the body shop. This The first time I have used this service. This is something that enterprise Rent-A-Car talks about on their commercials all the time. I have never used their pick up service until today. As of now, they are over 35 minutes with no signs of being here. I called them and they said they would be here at 9 AM and then the body shop called them at 9:15 and they said they would be there in a few minutes. We called back at 9:30 to be told that they are short staffed. It would have been nice to know this sooner and I could've made another arrangement. This is a 2 part. 1) 5 years ago I went to move and had reserved a van I was promised that could fit a dresser and a queen bed. Upon pick up and taking it home it couldn't even fit the bed. Taken back immediately and was directed to a location over an hour away to get a van that actually fits the stuff we had but also this new van had to be returned a whole 24 hours earlier than we had the original rented for. 2) this august I rented a cargo van from this same location a month before I needed it. I went in to the store and asked about dimensions, space, time and milage. I was assured that the rental fit all of my plans as I was moving out of state. Just to make sure I was not burned again I went the day before the rental was to be picked up and of course it wasn't the van I was promised. I had rented a Cargo van but they would only give me a passenger that I could not remove the seats. When I pointed out the difference they said the van I rented was sold out everywhere and that's what I had to deal with despite all the times I checked in. Truly the biggest disappointment not only once but twice and in a stressful time like moving has really confirmed the fact that I will never rent from here again. The BEST customer service ever, always. This is the ONLY Enterprise I use, and I frequently rent cars for personal use. The company I work for frequently rented cars for me from other locations. It seems like we always had some issue and often poor customer service. I always request that they rent from this location now. Usually they comply with my wishes but when they do reserve vehicles from other locations the difference in customer service is very apparent. This location is amazing. The car I reserve is always available, always ready to go. In the winter the cars are warmed up and windows defrosted. If I ever need to be picked up from my home the Enterprise employee is alway courteous always right on time. I started renting from this location when Brandon was here, and he always took such good care of the customers. I was sorry to see him leave, but I am happy to report that we still enjoy the same outstanding customer service. read more

This was by far the worst enterprise I ever dealt with. The staff was not very nice and I don't think they realized I was going to take it far with enterprise. I've made corporate complain as well as leave bad reviews because I want to make sure the upper management is aware of this behavior. I use to be a manager and I would not want people like that in my business. Very rude customer service. I hope in the future none of the other customers feel this way. Let's just put it this way they wouldn't let me rent a car because I got pulled over by a cop which was pathetic. Infraction should not cause you to get your car taken away. Rented a car to drop in Chicago because I was buying a used car up there. The car had a flat and I had to change it myself because they now charge for roadside assistance. I also went through a toll booth without change, stopped at toll plaza to pay it in cash, and now my credit card has a $16 charge for a $1 toll. BRANCH not helpful, but local corporate office was VERY friendly and helpful at getting the charge reversed after I sent a photo of my receipt from IL tollway. Ultimately it was the fault of state of IL which I try not to travel to much. read more

Horrible experience this morning! We have rented cars for over 3 years from this location and today we were informed we could only use our debit card if we had 2 utility bills showing no balance due! How insulting to think that people who choose to live on a cash basis are deadbeats and not to be trusted! The person at the counter said this had been their policy since June 8,2012, yet we had rented over the 4th of July week without this policy being stated. Needless to say we went down the road the Thrify and found out they require a substaintial deposit be held on the card until return. No problem, you expect that with a debit card. Enterprise you stink! Will NEVER rent here again and am trying very hard to get the word out to Dave Ramsey followers NOT to do business here! read more

What prompted this review is this: the person who picked me up was prompt and courteous, the car was clean, warmed up (December) and ready to go.
