I made a reservation on April 6 for 5pm but they close at 5pm so I couldn't make on time. I tried to get my 285 dollars back and they said I couldn't receive a refund because I didn't cancel the reservation. Zero stars the company sucks I'll stick to enterprise read more

I usually do not write bad reviews because I understand that there is always someone hire up. However when the hire ups do not know what's going on that is where the problem is. This location system went down of course after a payment was made and I had to pay twice . I was told it would be refunded however it has not , but the 2nd reservation amount was within hours . Of course you try and call customer service and they have no idea what I am talking about they refer me to the local branch. And now the local branch is acting like they don't know , and I'm out almost $400. This is not right and would appreciate if SOMEONE can reach back out to me about THEIR error. Something simple as 2 phone calls and no one can seem to do it ! read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would, I paid in advance they were to only hold 300.00, but took the full amount ok of 524.00, no problem, but the day to pick up an suv they're calling luxury and told me I need to charge 250.00 more to a major credit card, why, u have my bank acct., so she says it's on the website, I said you're a liar, I read the fine print, then another rental company said they're supposed to call you, NO ONE called, I said I better get all my money back to, and I did, so unprofessional whole in wall. Do yourself a favor. Stay away. I rented a truck to move weeks ahead of my moving date. The day before they called and said they didn't have a truck. The guy said he would "try" an "hoped" he would have one. What good does Hope do me when I need a truck on a tight timeline and have a reso? I asked the guy this and he said, I don't know "I just work here". They ended up getting me a truck that I had to wait an hour in line to get. And then.... the ramp didn't work. It took 3 hours for road side to come and help me because the office was closed. Glad I wasn't on the side of the road! Overall, this was an awful experience. Won't be back. read more

They charged me 340.00 for damage to the SUV I did not do. The office where we checked in was chaos (DEN - Airport). They gave us a vehicle that had literally just came back within the last 30 minutes. It smelled strongly of body odor. We wanted to review the car's condition with the agent but he stated he did not have the time. I took a video of the exterior of the SUV prior to leaving the parking lot. We returned the SUV without incident 5 days later. Fast Forward 2 months and I see a 340.00 charge on my credit card. Initially they said we damaged the SUV - but I had video evidence that the dent was there upon recepit. Then they came back and said we punctured a tire. How would I get it back ot the location if that was the case. Regardless, this went on and on. I learned unless you want to go to small claims court, you are helpless. Please do yourself a favor and give your money to Enterprise. You won't regret it. read more

Thank goodness for Avis. My car broke down and while it was in the shop, my family rented a car from here. They were reasonably priced and the car we got was a pretty nice one. Other places we looked at had nice cars too, but they were a bit pricier. We rented for 9 days and had no issues whatsoever. One thing to remember though, fill up the tank before you return the car! We did, but if you don't, your bill will be +$10 per gallon that they have to fill it. If we're ever in need of an in-town car rental again, we'll probably rent with Avis. read more

I'm a huge fan of this location. Because it isn't at an airport, you get personalized service. The location sits just off 82nd street and it is a bit hard to find. However, another bonus to their location is the ample parking behind the building. If you are renting a car then you are welcome to leave your car in their reserved spaces. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I got quite a lemon on one occasion. The car made it through the road trip, but it would almost stall every time I stopped and the tires were worn almost completely. Overall, I'll continue to use Avis and this location specifically for all of my needs. read more

Tried to get my truck rental today. Reserved 24 hours in advance, saw nowhere on confirmation email that this timeline didn't guarantee a truck (when going back to review the email I STILL can't find this supposed disclaimer, so I still can't figure out exactly what time period actually guarantees you a truck, one employee said 24 hr while another said 48.... ). You would think the word reservation implies that something is reserved.... Showed up at scheduled pick up time to find out there were no trucks available. Customer service severely unhelpful, I had to insist that they call other local Budget offices to try to secure another truck. No luck, no trucks available at all. I tried explaining that my storage unit lease ended today and now I would be charged an entire extra month and that I would also lose the deposit I paid for professional movers. Lost over $200 today bc of Budget, not to mention an entire day wasted. When you work during the week, weekend days are precious rarities to get things done. Called U-haul and another local truck rental company, they too had nothing available. What budget should have done is 1) make it ABUNDANTLY clear during the reservation process that nothing is actually guaranteed and 2) called me ahead of time before wasting a trip to the pick up location and another hour inside the office while I pleaded with them to try to secure another truck. One employee was trying to be nice about helping, the other was extremely unhelpful, condescending, and rude and pointed out several times that it was in the terms and conditions that this could happen. Avoid Budget, rent with a truck rental company that ONLY reserves actual available trucks. U-Haul online reservations shows you real time availability of trucks, stick with them. And if you do end up going with Budget read every single tiny term and condition and be prepared to possibly not have the truck on the day you want. The cheaper prices aren't worth it. Go with U-Haul or Penske. read more

Made a reservation for a truck on March 22nd for May 2nd. I got a call on April 29th saying they do not have the truck available and only a cargo van. She said she wanted to let me know sooner rather than later which it was definitely later, 3 days before my move. I usually go with U-Haul but Budget was a little cheaper but now I understand why, thankfully U-Haul had a truck for me in such short notice. It would've been nice to get a call 2 weeks before, even 1 week before, but that didn't happen. The worst customer service I have experienced. Do not try to save money and pay a little more to save you the stress. read more

The staff there mainly Amy went above and beyond to help me with my truck rental. She was kind and courteous made me feel like an actual person and not just a $!! This has to be the best truck rental in the city! If it was not for Amy I probably would not have had such a great experience!! We drove right over and they were ready for us and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. We rented a vehicle from here and had left a multi-plug adapter in the vehicle. We called up there like a week and a half later and sure enough they had it. The only thing that I don't like is the location but other than that they are ok with me. Also you don't need a major credit card which is nice. read more
