Customer service is top notch here. When I came here after leaving my car in the autoshop, there were no compact cars available, so Enterprise offered me a mini SUV for the day for an extra $6. When a compact was available the next day, I couldn't make the switch because I was working my 12h night shift. Apparently, they love renting out smoke-filled vehicles and then making reports that YOU had an accident in it to cover their expenses when you complain. Be careful of this one, guys. Stay away and check your credit report. read more

I was involved in an auto accident and needed to rent a pickup truck. Enterprise doesn't have many of them, so they were difficult to find. I went to Central Islip and spoke to the branch manager Brian Salerno and he was excellent! He found me a truck and called me to let me know when I could pick it up. Well I got into a car accident so I went to Enterprise Rent-A-Car to rent a car. I get the car no problem. So far I go to work. I have to stop at my girlfriend's house to pick up something. Get back on the highway car. Turns off I put in park turn it back on. It goes a little turns off again now. Meanwhile I got cars beeping behind me. People are getting annoyed at me trying to get to the side of the road. I finally find a safe place after rolling off the road because the car keeps turning off. I call the emergency roadside service and they said they'll send me a tow. I waited on the side of the road for over 90 minutes. It's getting dark. Then they tell me I got to take an Uber to get a replacement car. Don't understand why I got to do all this leg work. Ask them if they could bring the car to me. They said no. We don't do that anymore. So 4 hours later I finally have another car. It was the most stressful experience I've been through waiting for a tow for 90 minutes, sitting on the side of the road by myself calling roadside assistance and them telling me you have to take an Uber to the next location. Next location is a half hour away because the rest of them had closed already won't bring me a car even though it was their car that left me stranded will never rent again from them read more

Enterprise now ask for your employer prior to renting a car. I've ordered from enterprise plenty of times. But this seem very strange and the only location that's ever asked that. If I use this location I'll just make up an employer next time. Very intrusive. Also this location does not have a drop box for late night drop off. So be mindful that you will need to come during business hours to return the car. Other than them asking for your employer, everything else was the same as all the other times I've rented a car from this company. read more

What a train wreck. The asst manager Savannah is way too slow paced and completely condescending. Savannah volunteered legal advice to customers. The manager Nick refused to rent to me when he tried to downgrade my car, charge the same price, refused to apologize, and treated me like a piece of garbage. Here's the Scoop: We needed a big car to take the family for a funeral. We entered Enterprise yesterday to look at inventory. They had several big cars. The inventory consisted of Dodge mini vans, BMW SUV, Expeditions and a Suburban. Well, we chose the Suburban. It is so comfortable!! It has 3 rows and a deep trunk space. All the bells and whistles. Lane departure, back bump camera, voice alerts, Bluetooth, lots of leg room and the sound system is the bomb!!!! There's so much going on in this car that by the time we figure it all out we'll be returning it. The service at Enterprise is friendly, quick, courteous and hands on. The cars are clean and in great condition. I highly recommend them if you're looking to rent a car. They have sales at different times so check them out. I also love the idea that they'll pick you up or deliver the car to you. That's how I began my relationship with them. Check them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

All I can say is Thank you!! These group of folks working here are not only professional but extremely helpful. I rent cars often and this was the first time i haven't been pressures into buying insurance or extras. The staff was quick, courteous and helpful. In literally 5 minutes, I got in, got my reservation and drove off. How could it be so simple? We could not have been happier with Enterprise Central Islip! We were provided a courtesy pickup at the LIRR station by an employee who could not have been more pleasant, and despite how busy the biz was on a Friday afternoon we were in and out in minutes.
