Although they were not the location we originally started with, the team immediately stepped in with empathy, patience, and professionalism after the terrible experience we had at Enterprise Auto Park. We were incredibly fortunate to be helped by Assistant Branch Manager Adrian Guzman, and honestly, his customer service is beyond exceptional. Adrian was calm, attentive, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. Even while juggling phone calls and multiple customers, he made everyone feel acknowledged by communicating clearly and letting people know he would be right with them. That level of attentiveness goes such a long way and is so rare these days. Adrian completely turned our experience around. He helped fix our reservation issue with patience and understanding, and he treated us with so much respect during a stressful situation. Enterprise is lucky to have someone like him representing their company; he absolutely deserves recognition, a promotion, or at the very least a raise. Poor customer service , the attendant at enterprise did not have a working knowledge of the car they put me in. I reserved a Toyota Camry the day before over the phone. I was told that the Toyota would be available. I came on time but the choice was to take a Ford bronco or a small economy vehicle. The bronco was noisy to drive, and I had to go research how to use the cruise control.....the attendant said she never used cruise controls and could not help me. The front left speaker did not work and in the noisy cabin I could not enjoy CarPlay music. The radio did not work unless I turned off my I Phone which made navigation go away while driving. I drove in to return the car the next day. The same attendant sat in her chair behind a glass wall glaring at me. When she got up said "what do you want?" i rented a car from auto park pl in chula vista.the car shook so much that i was getting headaches so i returned that vehicle and they gave me another one. that car rode much better but it was filthy, so many scuff marks in and out, the seats were filthy, the windows were all dirty and the stench from the seats stayed on my clothes. i did stay with the car for two weeks because it did ride nice. when the car was returned i received a bill with a balance so i called and explained to peyton the condition of the car and i felt what my insurance had paid was enough. she agreed and told me she would refund me. i have called two more times because i have not received the refund. the 2nd time she again promised me she would refund me and again i did not receive it. i called a third time and this time they put me on hold and then hung up on me. very disappointed in that location. read more

Few issues with this place. 1. It smells like someone weaved their rug out of cat urine and a homeless guy who hasn't showered in 40 years. There's no way no one else notices this. 2. They're always understaffed. Pre Covid too. Honestly, just close this one down and send them to the National City one. 3. One of them is full of BS. I listened to him tell someone over the phone (after he told him they didn't have the car he reserved, in his defense he did reserve close to closing time...not that that should matter) that they can't check inventory at other locations. While he's saying this, the other employee is calling the airport enterprise to, you guessed it, check their inventory. I get it, you're overworked but come on dude. 4. An hour after I checked in, it was discovered they didn't have what I needed. I had plenty of time to wander the lot, I shouldn't have to, but I could've taken a peek. 5. This one's on enterprise as a company, not its employees. Charging for an extra day just because you're closed sundays is BS and charging by calendar day for insurance is a an enormous BS scam. Either have after hours drop off or allow us to drop off at a location that is open on sundays without penalty. This Sh!tstorm isn't not totally their fault. They're very nice and courteous given the fact they're understaffed, yet move with no sense of urgency which doesn't help at all. I will give them huge credit to their patience with everyone there concerning getting them processed. It seems that most of the customers at this location have never rented a car, used a phone, have manners, interacted in public before, know what the difference between a credit and debit card is. I picked up a car from here on August 17. Mariana helped me and she is amazing at her job. The night before, she had contacted me to let me know what was expected (300 security). When I picked up the car, there were a couple there and I chose the Jeep because I drive a similar car regularly. Mariana made sure the car was very clean, and we agreed that the cupholders are usually what's kind of yucky in a rental. The car was pristine. The service was great and I really liked the guy just inside the door to the left, he was super also. If I come back to CV I will make sure to use this location. read more

Pretty disappointed with their unwillingness to work with me at this location on a silly "policy". I had both my debit card number and a debit card in my digital wallet for tap pay to cover the $100 deposit. I had no issue paying for the deposit this way at another enterprise location. This is through an insurance claim so they're paying for the rental itself and even after explaining I had no issue paying for the deposit at another location and I would be left carless 20 miles from home, they declined to even consider taking the payment via digital wallet even though it can and has been done. It's a simple $100 deposit that would be refunded at the end anyway. Very inconvenient and unreasonable in my opinion from both the employees and managers. read more

We were visiting family in San Diego and needed to rent a car for a trip to Disneyland. As soon as we walked in the waiting room it was completely full and it looked as though there was only one lady working the front desk, checking people in and answering phones. She still did not forget to greet us and let us know that she would be with us shortly, and we noticed that she made sure to acknowledge every customer walking in despite being swamped. We unfortunately were late for our 9am pick up and showed up closer to 10am so when it was our turn to be helped at the desk she politely set the expectation that since we were late and it was busy, there were about 7 parties ahead of us. No problem. We continued to watch as she helped several other parties check in, drop off and even show them to their vehicles. We were extremely impressed by the professionalism and overall positive demeanor of the front desk (which we now know was the manager, Mariana) despite how truly busy it was. We also witnessed interactions between another employee and customers - his name was George. Again, despite being backed up he never failed to keep composure, communicate to each customer letting them know he was thankful for their patience and that they'd be helped as soon as possible. He even cracked a few jokes to keep the mood light in the waiting area. When it was finally our turn, Mariana showed us to our car and presented our options for upgrading the vehicle, which we opted for. We also decided to upgrade the coverage after thorough explanation and suggestion from Mariana. Never did we feel pressured to add any of these things on, we just felt we could truly trust her guidance. We were more than satisfied with the vehicle, service and overall positive demeanor of the staff. This location is a great example of the importance of communication and setting realistic expectations with customers. Not only that, but keeping the vibes positive despite the many people waiting was the extra mile. Best experience with a car rental company. Will be returning on our next trip to SD :) read more

I made the mistake of going to the wrong location for my booking, and by the time i made it to the enterprise located at 1059 Broadway in Chula Vista, it was 10 minutes to closing, and they had a full lobby of guest, all waiting for vehicles. By the time I got called, I was told that I was at the wrong location, and there was no vehicles left for me to take. It was too late for me to make it to the correct enterprise i originally booked for, and i had no idea what to do next. Two employees, Marco and Juan let me know, if I could just be patient, after they helped the other guests who had appointments, they could see what they could do for me. The only vehicle they had was a minivan, which was forty more dollars than my original booking and and out of my budget. While trying to figure out how I would make this work, the end result was great. Juan stayed pass the closing time to help me and Marco was able to price match the amount of my original reservation with the enterprise at the the other location. They both provided great customer service!, Despite being closing time, they still took the time to help me with the vehicle and I actually got a honda accord, which is better than the original one I booked for. clock out I would definitely recommend Chula Visa enterprise. This guy could not understand that I had a reservation kept telling me I had to call my insurance told him I had a reservation with the reservation number told me again I had to call my insurance. He told me he had a car in route, but he couldn't tell me when it would be there. I've been to this establishment. Many times. Does the first time I've dealt with Rafael. They stuck me in a van temporarily and was offering a big truck for ten dollar more if I didn't want the van' wish they would have just told me they didn't have anything available and I would not have bothered with them! I've used this enterprise for a few years now. It's closest to my house. The nice thing is they are family run and it's a small business kind of feel. *There is usually a wait. Whether waiting to talk to someone at the desk or waiting for a ride home. Another customer and I were asked to wait because she had one more customer on hold then it was our turn... since when do you service people on the phone prior to the people physically standing there? That's a mark down in my opinion and that's why there is one less star. I just flew in from out of the country and rented a car from LAX at noon to drop off at the chula vista location before closing so I can get ready for a 4am work shift the next day. Last thing I want to do is sit patiently while listening to a phone conversation regarding adjusting a price and wait until a driver is ready to take me home. But I did!! For some reason LAX did a paper contract and only one person knew how to enter it in computer and the other didn't. Instead of having him take care of the car rental and switching to process my return, she wanted to finish his reservation while the other agent had nothing to do, then get to mine. More waiting! Was not very happy with service at all. Otherwise the employees are sweet and friendly!! Note: Last time, they didn't tell me the driver was on his lunch and I would have uber'ed it home. The rental car just broke down in the middle of the road and my uncle had to push the car on the side. We got stuck in a middle of the desert for almost 3hrs because their customer service didn't do anything to help us. Aaron Pearson made it especially smooth by getting me in, letting me know of an upgrade option, getting me into the PERFECT car, checking me out and getting me right into a car that could drop me off to pick up my repaired car. Wretched, wretched service, or lack thereof. I've used the Enterprise on Main St., and always received good, prompt and friendly service. From the moment I entered this location I received nothing of the sort. The agent who helped me with my rental didn't say hello, didn't look me in the eye until it was time to ask if I wanted to add-on insurance, and DIDN'T GET OFF THE PHONE, THE ENTIRE TIME HE WAS "HELPING" ME. I get it. You're busy and multitasking is absolutely necessary, but you can acknowledge the person you're supposed to be helping, put the phone on hold, or ask for help. The car, despite a reservation, wasn't ready, and needed to be washed, adding to my time in hell. Upon returning the car, there was only one agent working (and one glued to the phone, surprise) and a line built up, of at least seven people. We shifted around, making small talk, and made light of the situation. The agent who helped me with my return was much more service-oriented than the agent who initialized my rental but it still was a prime example of a poorly run office. Really? You send out three agents (possibly to do their famous pick-up service) and leave one guy struggling with Monday morning rental/returns? That's just poor management. 2/26/19 I don't understand if you have a reservation why these businesses keep consumers waiting. I get to the business to get my rental and clearly I'm not put in car I reserve. 2nd I requested to be put in a car that I'll fit in and they have me wait and wait until i ask how much longer for my rental. Finally they put me on a Chevy Malibu. However I asked for a new printout and it's all shady because on the first vehicle I was suppose to be charged $221 from feb 26 to March 5, 2019 with a 200 deposit hold but I was told that with the upgrade is five dollars more however on this new print out it's clearly states that it's $166.72 for the week. I told my agent for this price put me on my rental for total of three weeks yet his response was I gotcha, just give me min" I even asked twice was he going to give me the rate of $166.72 week and he said "yes". The guy who helped me his name is Alan. Will see the aftermath If I get scammed or there legit business. I will report them for consumer fraud to the bureau automotive bar and to the federal trade commission for unethical practices if I'm not charged for $166.72 for the 3 weeks I asked for the rental. Brandon, one of the gentleman that works here at the Chula Vista office on Broadway, really went above and beyond to take care of us. Our car got hit by a large wood piece while driving on the freeway, shattered the windshield, damaged the hood and roof of our new car. Brandon was there when we needed a rental car and was able to find us a car at the lowest price that was covered by our insurance. We had the car for a few weeks and he was there when we returned the car as well. When we ran into a few issues, he was able to get them resolved for us. If I could give this place -10 stars I would. I completely totaled my car due to a drunk driver so GEICO provided a rental from this specific place. Getting the car was fine but returning it was a nightmare. Granted, there was dog hair and it was fair for them to ask me to get it cleaned or be charged $175 so I decided to clean it myself. That part was undertstandable. However, when I brought it back the second time, a Caucasian gentleman was waiting to get a car ride back to his home in Bonita and I basically said I would most likely grab a ride back with him which was provided by enterprise. Bonita being so far, I assume they would wait for other people to join the ride. But, the inspection of the car took longer and they left without me (again understandable). The service manager Yasef was inspecting the car and I asked if I could grab a ride back home. He stated that they have a radius of 3 miles. I said ok that's fine, I'm fairly close. He checks my address and says, I apologize, you are a little over the radius at 3.5 miles. I then asked him why he allowed a guy to be driven home to Bonita but can't make an extra 0.5 mile commute for me? He got flustered and tried to claim that it's for liability issues.
