This was my first ever car rental... First... I'm going to need businesses everywhere to stop assuming a customer has a Credit Card specifically. Ppl use both Credit and Debit Cards. So when you send out your reservation confirmation email, Please provide details of your rental process before the customer arrives to your location unprepared. I got there using a debit card and I couldn't proceed further until I provided two utility bills or paystubs. To which usually no one would just readily have those items available on them at all times, unless they are asking to be a victim of Identity Theft. I had to use the locations PC to pull up the information, which was unbearably slow and had an outdated Operating System... UPGRADE PLEASE!!! Next.. your Insurance coverage options. It would really be nice to know I even have options. Before I signed the Insurance Coverage agreement, the Rep had Charged me the maximum per day and wasn't even thinking to ask me if I have AAA or Roadside assistance. I pay for roadside assistance through my cell provider... So why would you charge me for something I don't need. There is an insurance option that doesn't provide AAA and is cheaper. Now, don't get me wrong I respect the hustle... But at least give me an option.. Times are tough these days and I don't have money to just waist on things I don't need. Fortunately I read the fine print and asked about the different levels of coverage and saved me some cash. But in all, once everything was finalized, I got what I needed and had a great round trip drive. Dropping the vehicle off was easy and I love when companies make good on there Deposit Return Policy. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience I had a very unpleasant experience at the Enterprise location on 2113 Lawrenceville Highway. The employee, Jestin, who told me he was the manager, was extremely rude and unwelcoming. After he finished processing everything for my rental, I simply asked how long it would take before I could get the car. Instead of giving me a reasonable answer, he became angry and told me to move to the side. When I asked again how long it would be, he said, "You know what, I'm the manager here. I can say I don't have to give you the car, so you can go somewhere else." Because of the way I was treated, I had to leave and go to another Enterprise location to get a car. I had already made arrangements for someone to drop my son off at his soccer tournament because I expected to have the rental car in time. Now, because of this situation, I have to go to another location and will be late getting to my son's tournament. I was simply asking a basic question as a customer. I did not deserve to be spoken to or treated this way. This was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable customer service, especially from someone who identified himself as the manager. I hope Enterprise takes this complaint seriously and reviews what happened at this location. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. read more

I'm a frequent renter from the Lawrenceville Hwy/N Dekalb location. The staff does change like every other location but I have gotten to know everyone who has come to work here in the past year. Everyone has been very kind and have made it a point to remember my face and my name. I appreciate the availability of vehicles and willingness to upgrade if the vehicle type I requested is not available. Terrible. The lady at the desk sounded like she knew what she was doing but it turns out she was just being a snob. She told me over the phone they would have cars ready in a few so I went over after work. Then she told me she only had an expidition that was more than double what my insurance was covering daily, and I actually like my insurance. Then she said I could stay until everyone else was gone to see if there was a car left so I did. I waited 45+ mins watching Netlfix just for her to tell me that they wouldnt accept my debit card because its not one of the big banks. I told her its a regular bank not cash app or something and the card is a mastercard which under their policy online they should accept but she remained ignorant and refused to listen. Every other rental car place was closed by this time and I was sorely inconvenienced. I think she felt like she could get away with this because I was being nice and I don't seem like the type to write a review. That's when I realized the guy a few minutes before me who complained about her was not just an angry person but was being disempowered and inconvenienced. First and last rental here. Made a reservation to pick up a car for 5pm last Friday to drive round trip from Atlanta to Pittsburgh. Called them on my way to pick up the car notifying them I was stuck in traffic and would arrive by 5:30 in which i was told that was fine. Strike 1- upon arriving the customer service agent that greeted me informed me the Ford Focus I was to receive was getting an oil change so it was currently not on site. Strike 2- around 6 pm I still have not received my rental car and find out the customer service agent who was helping me originally went home for the weekend without handing me off to one of her associates so they thought I was waiting to be picked up. Strike 3- the Ford Focus I was to receive had been given to another customer who had come in after me that made a reservation the morning of! If we're playing baseball enterprise is already out but since I needed the rental car I kept playing. Enterprise needs to get me a car as it's 6:15pm so they upgrade me to an Audi Q3. Pretty sweet upgrade; however, the car is not on sight as it is at an auto shop down the road waiting to get an oil change- strike 4. The new agent that drove me over to get the car, although helpful, assured me that it didn't really need an oil change. I'm not sure about you but I don't just get my cars oil changed for fun, neither do I believe most cars tell you every time you turn the car on it needs an oil change if it doesn't. Strike 5- it's 6:22pm and I finally get to the Audi which has no gas so my 11 hour car trip each way gets to start off with a fuel up. Honestly the worst car rental experience I ever had. read more

DO NOT USE THIS ENTERPRISE LOCATION. They do not bother to properly inspect their vehicles before renting them out again and will bill the next driver (you) for any fees incurred. When you attempt to appeal to human decency, the staff of this location will refuse to listen and defer to "company policy", effectively throwing the Enterprise brand under the bus. I picked up a Ford Focus from Enterprise on 10:15AM 4/25 (RA #5KF46L). During the inspection of the vehicle, I joked to the agent that there was still a Slim Jim in the trunk, which she removed. I got the Total Loss Waiver, the Enterprise rep offered me additional coverages and I joked, "with the damage waiver I can bring back just the wheels, right? Under what circumstance would I be charged additional fees for the rental?" -- bringing the car back in its original condition, apparently. Fast forward to rental car return: 9:50AM on 5/28. I called Enterprise around 11AM on Monday, 5/29 because I had heard nothing back yet. The agent told me my total charge (seemed high for a 3-day rental, over $300) and the agent clarified I was being billed for Sunday because Enterprise's policy is evidently that their cars must be returned to a location open on Sunday in order for the renter not to be billed for that day. I mentioned to my first Enterprise rep, who helped with the inspection, that I was planning to bring it back earlier, and it would have been nice to know this policy, but I can deal. What really threw things over the edge is when Erin, the manager at Lawrenceville Hwy location, shifts to an accusatory tone and tells me that there was a smoking smell in the car. "Yeah, I noticed that too," I retort. I tell Erin about the Slim Jim we found in the car during the inspection, that it had clearly not been properly inspected prior to renting to me. She apologizes for the Slim Jim (??!!) but does not offer to remove the smoking fee. I ask to speak to her manager. She tells me she is the manager, and there is nothing they can do for me and the charge will not be reversed. I insist on speaking to someone higher on the Enterprise totem pole, and she refers me to the Corporate customer service number. Now -- here's the thing about the smoking fee. I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. There were two other occupants of the vehicle, my girlfriend and my mechanic (on Saturday), neither of whom smoke cigarettes. I actually advised my mechanic: "We can take your SUV if the smoke smell in the car Enterprise rented to me bothers you." I drove another Enterprise rental (RA #5DPJF2) for 12 days / twice the distance, rented just days before this one, and returned it without a smoke smell. Did I develop a smoking habit within days of my last rental and decide to light up in my next Enterprise rental? What is the narrative that justifies this charge, guys? I call the Corporate customer service number, also on Monday, and reach a guy who seems genuinely decent and understanding. I am promised a call back from a Regional Manager. It is now Wednesday, I have not received a call back yet... I filed a dispute with my credit card issuer to remove the cleaning fee which I did not cause or consent to being billed for. Thankfully that went through without a hitch. I will definitely not use this Enterprise location in the future and if Enterprise seeks the continued business of me, my friends and family, feel free to reach out to make things right. read more

I have received nothing but good service here. Yes, sometimes you may wait a little longer for your car, but I have never received one that is not clean and in good working condition. The staff is really friendly too. Oh, and I love that the cars are to be pet and smoke free. Now if only they could make it bad perfume free too, that would be great. My BFs car was totaled when 3 tornados hit Griffin, where he lives. His power was out for days so he came to stay with me. We tried to rent him a car so he could get back to work from several Enterprise locations...in Griffin & Atlanta. All locations took a reservation however, when we got to the location they did not have a car to rent him. Why take the reservation if you have no car? We wasted time & gas driving to different locations & still no car! At this location on Lawrenceville Hwy I requested they call another location to see if they had a car before we drove over there. She said she could call but they wouldn't tell her....really? It's really sad that she made no effort to help someone going through a tragedy. I'm learning that unless you're going on vacation, no one really looks forward to the whole car rental thing. It's a weird, litigious, ambiguously expensive process that is fraught with stress and hurry. That being said, the folks at this Enterprise (Steve and Brian) were the epitome of professional. No delays. They got me into a car with no wait. And they checked me out of that car immediately upon my arrival. The car itself was clean (hooray for smoke free!) and a nice departure from the tank I normally drive. No hidden charges. No weird rate schedules. They even gave me the rate they give the car dealership (where I was having some service done). read more

I was given a loaner car from a body shop that uses this Enterprise location. When I was given the car, I noticed a large scuff on the front bumper. The Enterprise gentleman stated "we don't write up things like that - just look for dents that are larger than a golf ball". When I got my car back from the body shop, I left the rental there and dropped the keys in their drop box. I did so since I have had several trouble-free experiences with Enterprise in the past and I trusted them. An hour later I got a voicemail from this branch stating that they discovered hail damage on the car while it was in my possession. I found this quite troubling, as I knew that there had absolutely been no hail storms in my area while I was in possession of that car. I drove up to their branch the next morning to inspect it, and the regional manager showed me the dents under a blacklight. That was the only way they were noticeable. I explained to him that those must have existed when I was given the car, but I didn't have a blacklight available to inspect for minuscule dents when the young man signed me into the car. And the young man specifically told me to not worry about anything smaller than a golf ball. The regional manager continued to insist that they always inspect the cars the same way when they receive them, so that damage would've been found when the previous renter returned it had it happened prior to my taking possession. I told him again that I was nowhere near any hail storms in that car. He said there was a hail storm in north Georgia and I must have been in that storm. I explained to him that I live and work in south Atlanta and the only way that car was hit by that storm was if 4 pieces of hail strayed from the rest and traveled 100 miles in another direction, only to land on that car and no others. Because no cars were damaged by hail in my area during the time I had that car. He still insists, and is taking the car to a body shop for an estimate on repairs that they will try to charge to me. My recommendation is to take a blacklight with you if you choose to rent from this location. Notate even the most minor damages or defects, even when the rep tells you not to worry about it. read more

This location is not closed.... But worked getting a car since I had work over the weekend of last and was told through the call center that I was able to be picked up. When I had to call a couple of hours later I was told that they would not pick me up since I was out of their "zone". I am 4.7 miles away and could not get either corporate or the actual location to agree with me. I did file a complaint with corporate, as I feel that under 5 miles should not be a big deal. I eventually found a friend who saw my post on Facebook complaining about the situation and she dropped me off there. After complaining to the manager, Tucker, I was told sorry, that is our policy. The person that checked me out - Mark, said he would personally take me home when I dropped the car back on Monday. He did stick to his word, but said that the manager is new, therefore will not break any rules. So I appreciate Mark and all of his help, but spending a couple of hours on the phone complaining in order to get a deal for the weekend was a waste of my time and energy. Customer service is sorely lacking in this day and age and it takes huge amounts of effort to get anyone to understand the plight of a customer in most cases. As a business owner, I find this reprehensible, since I tend to go out of my way to make a customer happy, in hopes that they will use me again or at least refer me to others. read more

Worst Enterprise I have ever rented from, after dealing with this Enterprise it makes me debate about ever renting from an Enterprise again. I called for a pick up, which I was about 2 miles away, they said they were on the way, I called back 30 minutes later and the manager said they were coming now. After another 30 minutes I called back and he informed me they could not come and pick me up. I asked to speak to the branch manager which he said was busy and would be busy all day. To make matters even worse by the time I go my own ride to the branch, I had a reservation for an intermediate car which they had given away and I got stuck with a Suburban which I had to pay all for the terrible gas mileage. The employee did not even go out to look at the car, and marked the gas a 1/2 a tank, but the gas was really at 1/8th a tank. I would rather walk than ever use this location again! read more

While this is not a commercial truck location, it is a fine consumer car rental location. The staff are friendly and true to the commercials, they will pick you up and drop you off before and after your rental. I have rented from this location twice, and each time has been a good experience. The most recent rental occurred after another rental company (Hertz) rented my reserved car out from under me, leaving me in a bind. The folks at Enterprise were able to help me get on the road as soon as possible and even let me check with my insurance company before committing to the optional damage waiver/additional insurance. As good as it gets , anytime I get a rental car I use enterprise , but I have to point out this particular location. If I am not happy with the one I get from other locations I come here , they are always friendly and attentive to my needs . They switch me out and make sure i am a happy customer. This particular time I was coming from the "Buckhead" location where they gave me a brand new "2005" Impala. Yes I said "2005" but brand new. It was like a time machine , very odd. Tye helped me out and switched me out for a nissan in this decaade lol , I had spoke to Tye before and he is the best , Thank you Tye for making the switch painless. The rental of the car went well; however, the billing was a big problem! FRAUD alert! I used a Costco business credit card for this transaction at the location. About 6 hours later another charge on this card appeared for $275 for an online purchase for a hair extension store! The purchase made online had to have all the info on that card (which I still had in my wallet). So I had to cancel the credit card & get a new membership card at Costco. The manager at the location did not seem to comprehend what had happened & was oblivious that someone at this location had tried to rip me off! After discussing with the credit card company they confirmed someone had to have a copy of the card to try to make the purchase online (CVV code) & that it was not a random 'fishing' purchase. Will not ever go here again & will probably steer away from using Enterprise in the future. read more

This location does not honor the "We Will Pick You Up" service they advertise. I called this location and made a reservation for a compact car at the advertised weekend rate, was given a confirmation number, and requested a pick up from my home. I was informed that they would pick me up within a 2-2.5 hour window. After 3.5 hours of waiting for a pickup, I called the location and was informed that they would not pick me up 1) I was outside of their pick up radius (An unpublished radius not disclosed on the website or in the initial phone call.) 2) they don't pick-up weekend special rate customer (which sounds ridiculous). I called the Corporate office and spoke with a customer service Supervisor who acknowledged that the "We Will Pick You Up" service radius is not publish on the website as general knowledge. She could not make the local branch pick me up. She stated that generally they have a 10-mile radius for pickup. I live 6.4 miles from Lawrenceville Hwy location, but because there are other locations closer they would not pick me up. She could only forward the information to the district manager who will call me. Meanwhile, the Lawrenceville location conveniently discarded my reservation as I could not pull it up again using my confirmation number given at the time of reservation. I truly understand if there are limits with the pick up service. However, these limits should be communicated with the requesting customer when requested. If the location is unable to pick you up because you are outside of the unpublished radius, then they should inform the requesting customer instead of saying it can be done within 2.5 hours only to discover it cannot be done. I could have made other arrangements to get their or chosen another option instead of wasting 3 hours and still have no transportation. This is a fine example of poor customer service, and borders on misrepresentation of services. If you say you are going to provide a service but then refuse to do so then i deem you as untrustworthy. Why would I ever want to spend my money renting from Enterprise again? read more

I did a reservation through Orbitz at this location. An hour before I was supposed to pick up my rental car I was notified that they did not have a car for me I was Furious. Aftera few hours The manager TJ called to inform me he had car. He did everything he possibly could to satisfy me he put me in a nice Toyota Corolla. The customer service started out Rocky but they made up for it 100% I would definitely rent a car from this location I would definitely recommend my friends to contacts location for the rental car needs. read more

I rented a car through my insurance and the initial process started off ok. I dealt with a female named DW I believe (African American female with glasses) I'm describing her for a reason. We went over my agreement where I verbally declined any additional insurance because why would I need extra insurance if my insurance company is paying for my rental? But a few days after returning the rental, I get hit wit a $72 charge for addition insurance. This little girl DW evidently marked that I wanted the additional insurance and I signed the agreement stating so unknowingly and under pretense that I declined additional coverage as DW and I verbally agreed. I assume they get some additional commissions for selling there insurance but either way, I declined it! BUYER BEWARE! I have no complain about the car rental itself. But the customer service can be improved at this location. I left my house garage opener in the car when I returned it. I had to call them four or five times to ask them to take a look. Every time they promised they would take a look and call me back with the update. But they never did. I used to like renting from this place. Now there is nothing but foolery going on here. Every time I reserve a car and get there, they don't have what I reserved. They always want me to get something higher. And every time I tell them I want the basic coverage, they add all the extras like roadside assistance, etc. After accepting it a few times due to being in a rush, I have learned to decline them. Unprofessional group of people. Oh, and if you drop off a car after 5pm or need to be pick up around 5pm, forget it. They can't, for one reason or another. I do not know why I have had and continue to have such a bad experience with this location. I reserve a car of the size I want and it is usually either not ready or not available when I arrive. I reserved a full size vehicle this time and when I arrived (1 hour later than I scheduled) none were available. Instead of moving me up, they moved me down. Second, the car provided had been used previously by a smoker. By the time I got out of the car in Valdosta later that day I had a tremendous headache and sore throat. There is usually only one person working the desk although there are usually three or four employees in the store when I arrive. It is frustrating slow to get the car and get on my way. My recommendation is do not expect them to be ready or to have the vehicle you want. read more

Mr. Rhodes bent over backwards to find us another vehicle at other locations nearby that we would be "happy" with. I was in a bind last Thursday - my car decided to break down on me (again) and I had a very busy weekend ahead. After already missing a dentist appointment, a half day of work AND not being informed until 5PM that my car would not be ready until the next day (thanks, AAA), I was left scrambling to get a rental before everyone closed at 6. This was the only location that had cars available and that was able to pick me up within the time frame I needed (because of course I didn't have a ride). Once I got to the place, LaQuandra took over. She was able to calm me down (because I was super stressed out), make me laugh, give me a great rate on my rental, and even recommended a hairdresser for me (because I had also missed my hair appointment and everyone in town was booked up). They helped to save my day and my weekend. I have used this location before (when my car broke down other times) and have had nothing but good experiences, but this experience really stood out. Last Monday, I had the worst experience ever at the Lawerencville HWY location in Decatur. I had an 8:30 am reservation and I was miss informed about the documentation requirements. After having to drive home and come back, the manager Drew Rhodes tried to charge me more than what I was quoted initially. I questioned it... and according to him the system charged me a daily rate as opposed to the weekly rate. I pointed out the fact that I was repeatedly given the wrong information and in both instances it was discovered that I was correct. In the end, I was told that they couldn't release the car because there were too many issues. The manager never acknowledged fault on their end. Never apologize for the inconvenience. Repeatedly told me that I made an online reservation and never spoke to anyone in his office. Despite the fact that he actually gave me the name of the associate at the location who handled the reservation (Shakil Riley). He tried to charge me more than the initial price given and acted as if I was making the entire situation up. BEWARE! If you expect great customer service DO NOT go to this location. In the end, the Buckhead location on Roswell RD saved the day. The managers were amazing! It is only 20 minutes from the Lawerencville HWY office. Trust me, it is worth drive. read more

I travel a good bit for work. I'd say the last three out of six times I've gone to pick up my car with the reservation they did not have any cars. I don't understand how that happens? What is the point of reservation if you don't actually hold a car for somebody? This location is open, and I've used them a couple of times. For the most recent rental, I needed a van for a week and got a very nice Ford van at a great rate. The service on pickup and dropoff was excellent and I will use this location in the future. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that I had to spend a lot of time on the phone first with corporate and then with the location to be clear on the mileage allowance. (The main call desk said the info was not in their system so I was on hold for a while to talk to the location.) read more

CROOKS! This is the most corrupt company I have ever done business with. My car was hit and totaled by a drunk driver- I thought that was my biggest problem- I rented a car from enterprise in the mean time and they charged me $334 for vehicle insurance even though I opted out because I already had insurance. I fought the charge for nearly a year and in multiple calls to management and accounting they never had a manager that could offer any solution. Mostly they didn't answer the phone and didn't call back. After disputing this for over a year I finally paid it because they reported it on my credit. Now, 2 years later I am on their Do not Rent list (they own Alamo too) and they are claiming the balance is unpaid. I checked my bank records and the payment to them was made so I have proof of payment. Now they are trying to rip me off again. I'm smarter this time, disputing it with my bank, the credit bureau and better business bureau. read more

So where do I begin! After making reservations for a luxury vehicle almost 3 months prior to date needed. The company sent out a generic Conformation email to confirm pick and pricing. To make sure that everything was green light I in addition called to make sure of the vehicles availability. To my surprise I was told that there was not going to be a vehicle available for our reservation. Now mind you we've rented from this location numerous amounts of time. We've had issues before but none that was not fixable. So here we are at the location to make sure that we will have a vehicle tomorrow for pick up! No vehicle and that we would have to contact another location in order to get a vehicle. Now wait a minute isn't that the company job? The young ladies were very unwilling until we asked for the branch manager. At this point we just really need a vehicle for our daughters graduation, she was trying to give us a van for the cost of the reservation for the luxury vehicle! No we will not because at this point your company didn't have a vehicle for us to rent and now oh we can't do it cause you need a credit card because it's a luxury vehicle ma'am we've rented numerous times many suburban struck vans and denalis our family is big! We need to be compensated and giving us new reservations where we are still paying almost the same as if we had a luxury vehicle That we reserved several months in advance and never got will not do!! I have been sitting in the Enterprise office since they opened at 7:30am. I have always heard great things about Enterprise, so when my car was going to be in the shop for one week, I decided to try them out. I reserved a car last night online and when I got here, they informed me that all they had was an SUV available for me. I said "I cannot afford gas for an SUV." Over the past hour, at least 8 people have come in and dropped off cars or picked them up. I'm not quite sure why there are none for me. I suppose we'll see how it goes once they can "find" the keys for that Camry out there. read more
