This new location has been open for only one month and it was actually nice inside. The customer service was extremely friendly, they welcomed me upon seeing me. For a Friday afternoon they were a little busy but they proceeded to provide everyone excellent customer service. I'll Definitely check out this place again when I'm in town and hopefully I'll get the same experience. * please reserve car rental online because they have a limited fleet.

Not only are the Yelp reviews accurate, I'd been here before so I knew the lobby had never seen a broom. The staff is unkempt & my last rental was undriveable. I had to call 10 locations to find a replacement! Side note the DeKalb Airport Hertz is like the Westin compared to this Econo Lodge experience, if you can find it! PROS They answer the phone and pick you up. That's it! CONS Unswept lobby & dusty cars that are neither full nor charged. Unlike Chamblee this Hertz doesn't have gas cards or car wash vouchers. "Gas match" means you leave with less than a full tank. Like you can figure out how to bring it back three fifths full. My first option was dirty and it reeked of deodorizer, presumably to cover up odors. The oil change light was on. I was assured they forgot to reset it.. As bad as a I needed a car, I didn't want to be stuck in a raggedy one indefinitely until mine was repaired. And Allstate doesn't even contract with Hertz so I'd have to pay any price difference out of pocket. My second option was an electric vehicle with a 36% charge even though Hertz "strives to have EV's at 80% at pickup." This Hertz has a Tesla charging station but no Teslas.. Rather than pay for a car wash and ride in a smelly, possibly unreliable vehicle or rent a 36% charged EV, I decided to go to Enterprise. When I returned the contract & keys, Julius said even if I left Hertz without the rental I'd be charged for one day because I had the keys for over an hour. Even though I never drove the car! This Hertz is closed on Saturdays so if I took it home (since I was being charged anyway) and returned it the next day, I'd have to drive it to Buckhead or Conyers. You think Julius cared? With zero customer service skills and no empathy, he found my ordeal amusing. Eventually the charge was voided but the damage was done. When I mentioned their bad reviews Julius said, "Hertz doesn't care about reviews. Our supervisors don't read Yelp or Google. They care about surveys but you won't receive one if you have an insurance rental or are being reimbursed.." You know what Hertz, we don't have to care either. Julius bragged that this is the #1 location in the area. Let's change that by spending our hard-earned money where we are appreciated! SUM I've already experienced having to exchange one of their fickle rentals for a reliable car. This time, I took an Uber home. I'd rather walk barefoot over broken glass than patronize this Hertz. Renter beware!

The problem is I reserved a compact car but when I got to location I asked the sales rep, ERIC, the cost of upgrading since I was going a long distance. He recommended 2 cars, one for $4 and the other for $5. He said the upgrade would be better since I'm going such a long distance. I chose the Toyota Corolla for $5 upgrade. we did a walk around and I noticed that the car had several scratches. I mentioned them to ERIC and he said they don't count because they have to be a certain measurement. I decided to take pictures anyway. When we got to the front, I noticed that the right bumper was sticking out. I drew his attention to it. He said, don't worry about that, it's documented. Then he pushed the protruding bumper in and it stayed it. He said the car was a good choice. Then he relentlessly tried to sell me insurance that was price prohibitive for me at the moment. Besides, I told him, I'm already an insured driver. But he kept at it forcefully until I had to look him in the eye and tell him I could not afford it and don't need it because I'm a careful driver. He eventually gave up and had me sign the contract. My friend and I started on our way the next morning but the hood of the car kept lifting up, causing a beeping sound inside the car. Twice we had to push the hood back down. So we located another enterprise location to try to exchange the car, but they did not have a similar car available. So we decided to take our chances. We arrived to our destination safely. Upon returning the car to the location at my destination, the sales rep examined the car and noticed the damaged bumper and informed me about it. I told her that's how I rented it and the rep, ERIC, said it was not a problem because the damage was recorded. She suggested I talk with him about it. I did and he said it's their responsibility now because that's where I returned it. We kept going back and forth, ERIC promising that he would take care of it. After several unattended phone calls I decided to put a claim in through my credit card company. I sent them the pictures they requested after which they denied my claim (I do intend to continue pursuing my claim). So the lesson is, TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR RENTED VEHICLE BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT. AND ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU ABOUT THE CAR OR THE RENTAL, HAVE THEM SHOW IT TO YOU IN WRITING. VOICE RECORD THE CONVERSATION WHEN AND WHERE POSSIBLE. Please trust me on this. A hard lesson learned. I would not want you to have the same experience. it was pointed out to me that this is probably a practice of that lication or the company: they convince you to buy that expensive insurance to pay for the damages to their vehicles. So next time a sales rep relentlessly tries to sell you expensive insurance that you cannot afford or don't want to purchase, BE SUSPICIOUS. PLEASE BELIEVE ME. Signed, DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER

I was contacted by the local branch and informed that they did not have a vehicle available for my reservation. When I spoke directly with the site manager, she stated, "I don't have any cars available for you, love." I found this response extremely unprofessional and inappropriate, particularly in a customer service interaction. The use of "love" when communicating with a customer in this situation was unnecessarily familiar and did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from a company representative. What is especially concerning is that I had prepaid for this reservation and was given less than 24 hours' notice that the company could not fulfill the reservation. I contacted corporate customer service for assistance and connected the corporate representative with the local branch. During that conversation, the branch manager stated that the location was a franchise and that there was nothing corporate could do other than move my reservation to another location or issue a refund. This situation left me in an extremely difficult position, despite having fulfilled my obligation by paying for the reservation in advance. I should not have to deal with the consequences of a vehicle shortage or a branch's inability to honor a confirmed, prepaid reservation with such little notice. I am requesting that this complaint be formally reviewed, including the handling of my reservation, the communication from the local branch, and the conduct of the site manager. I would also like clarification regarding what measures will be taken to prevent customers with confirmed prepaid reservations from being placed in this situation in the future. I expect a response addressing both the cancellation of my reservation and the unprofessional manner in which I was treated.

I got there using a debit card and I couldn't proceed further until I provided two utility bills or paystubs. To which usually no one would just readily have those items available on them at all times, unless they are asking to be a victim of Identity Theft. I had to use the locations PC to pull up the information, which was unbearably slow and had an outdated Operating System... UPGRADE PLEASE!!! Next.. your Insurance coverage options. It would really be nice to know I even have options. Before I signed the Insurance Coverage agreement, the Rep had Charged me the maximum per day and wasn't even thinking to ask me if I have AAA or Roadside assistance. I pay for roadside assistance through my cell provider... So why would you charge me for something I don't need. There is an insurance option that doesn't provide AAA and is cheaper. Now, don't get me wrong I respect the hustle... But at least give me an option.. Times are tough these days and I don't have money to just waist on things I don't need. Fortunately I read the fine print and asked about the different levels of coverage and saved me some cash. But in all, once everything was finalized, I got what I needed and had a great round trip drive. Dropping the vehicle off was easy and I love when companies make good on there Deposit Return Policy. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience…read more I had a very unpleasant experience at the Enterprise location on 2113 Lawrenceville Highway. The employee, Jestin, who told me he was the manager, was extremely rude and unwelcoming. After he finished processing everything for my rental, I simply asked how long it would take before I could get the car. Instead of giving me a reasonable answer, he became angry and told me to move to the side. When I asked again how long it would be, he said, "You know what, I'm the manager here. I can say I don't have to give you the car, so you can go somewhere else." Because of the way I was treated, I had to leave and go to another Enterprise location to get a car. I had already made arrangements for someone to drop my son off at his soccer tournament because I expected to have the rental car in time. Now, because of this situation, I have to go to another location and will be late getting to my son's tournament. I was simply asking a basic question as a customer. I did not deserve to be spoken to or treated this way. This was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable customer service, especially from someone who identified himself as the manager. I hope Enterprise takes this complaint seriously and reviews what happened at this location. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.
