II give Damie Trahan, Jr a 5 star he assisted for apologizing for my 5 hour wait time I finally got a car that was downsized from my reservation which smelled like dogs were i it. I was tired of waiting so I just purchased a air fresher to deal with the sent. I asked the manger India Buck did they have any other vehicles before I finally recieved a rental she said no. It was obivious she was concerned about getting other walk in customers out, than work with the present customer to show good customer service for the company satisfaction. So I waited until a returned vehicle was returned for 4.5 hours. There was other vehicles available and she could have offered a up size which I have received at other locations when there were no vehicles currently available, but she wanted me to pay a additional fee which I declined and didn't care about great customer service which keep the company in business and customers coming back. Trust me word of mouth and customer rating are important. I check to find out how long she was been on the job from another location and was told about 4 months and customers complained about lack of privacy I experienced that also. More training and customer service retraining is needed. Word of advice have the customer come to the counter do not conduct business from the service to a customer sitting in the waiting area this is a violation of customer privacy MS Buck! read more

I had the hardest time not getting in contact with this location. I started calling about 1.5 hours before they closed but every time I called, I was put on hold for exactly 12 minutes until I was hung up on about 3 times. Crazy because I already had a reservation and was just attempting to change the pick up time. The process or lack thereof was tedious and infuriating. read more

I still can't get over my experience at this location. It's been 2 weeks since I've rented the rental.. I've tried everywhere for a corporate number and there is no one to file a complaint. A manager threatened to send the police to my home because they accidentally released funds back on to my card and went back for it days later and it wasn't there. They charged my card as a credit card accidentally instead of a debit. I have never been treated so bad by a company before in my life. read more

If you said something they look at you like you asking too much or you being rude . This is my first time using enterprise and I'm very dissatisfied with the situation. I've have a 2019 Nissan Sentra as a rental for going on 2 1/2 weeks (my cars in the shop getting repaired due to a wreck) and when I tell you it's the MOST HORRIBLE Rental I've ever had. It's like they didn't service this car from the last customer before I got it. The car needs an oil change , somethings up with the tire pressure, BOTH key fobs are nearly dead so it's making it hard to start the car ( it's a push to start ) , it doesn't go over 60 without shaking , goes up to 3-4 RPM before it hits 20 miles, for those of you who don't know what that means , just know it's bad , ESPECIALLY for a 2019 model and now I'm starting to think that enterprise doesn't service their cars. This car SHOULDNT be a rental car, I feel like they are waiting for something to go wrong when you're using it and then will try to pin the expense on you because you're responsible for the time that you're using said rental. I work a set schedule and I work before they're open and get off after they're closed, so I haven't had not one chance to go to enterprise to tell them about this in the 2 1/2 weeks of me having it, and to my knowledge, they're closed on Sundays. Not a very good experience for a first time user. Enterprise needs to know this isn't okay. I shouldn't be stressing that my rental isn't going to last me the time I'm using it. I shouldn't be afraid that a rental is gonna give out on me mid drive. My rental service expires tomorrow so I will be talking to someone there about my experience. . read more

Twice I had cars with a leaking tire. The 2nd time I had to return for a different vehicle. This was so inconvenient. When my car was repaired I returned the rental to be told I needed to go vacuum it before I returned it because of dog hair that the AC Had blown off of my clothes. It was barely noticable! I hope that I don't have to use them again. read more

They allowed my rental to be reserved for 12pm on a Sunday. I was under the impression they closed at 2pm, especially as it took the reservation for 12pm. I called at 11:45am to make sure the rental was ready as I have had to wait before for the car to be readied as much as an hour. Much to my surprise they informed me they close at noon. I told them I would leave right then. I got there a couple minutes after 12 along with another client . Doors were locked even though there were people in there. Finally someone cracked the door and told me they were closed and I could not get my car, as well as the other person. I was told their safe automatically locks at noon. So I am curious why would they allow a reservation (2 in fact) when they close promptly at noon. I would think at the latest they would have reservations at 11:45 to prevent this from happening. They have my phone number as well, why didn't they call me to let me Know of the new updated hours if I wasn't there by 11:30? I was waiting around until noon only to make sure the car would be ready. I had tried a pickup time of 10am and the system didn't let me confirm it. I assumed they didn't have a car returned until after that. I made a choice to rent from Enterprise who I usually use. From now on I am making the choice to rent from Hertz. All of this could have been avoided with better communication. read more

Terrible service. After finding out I can't rent a car due to my card being prepaid I was fine with that because there's nothing I can do about that. But then I asked if my friend can rent the car and just add me as an additional driver he said I can't do that because my card is prepaid.. why does my card matter if my friend is renting and I'm the ADDITIONAL DRIVER..... anyways My friend who works at an enterprise told me that was not true but since my friend is at another branch outside of Louisiana ( he's in Alabama) I decided to call the branches in the city of NOLA, they confirmed that what RUSTY ( the manager ) said was indeed not true BUT to make sure I called enterprise customer service & they too indeed confirmed that what Rusty said was untrue. If you're going on vacation, renting a car is the way to go. David and I decided that renting a car would be the best idea for our trip to Pensacola and we were right. David booked a 4 door car on booking.com, made all the arrangements and the car was ready for pickup at 8am on the day of our trip. The car was the perfect size, super comfortable and had plenty of room for luggage and room to spread out. The car didn't have any funky smells and it was clean and ready to go when we picked it up. Not only that, but the car got fabulous gas mileage and got us safely to and from Pensacola with no issues at all. You have to put down a $250 fee, with the regular fee, when you rent the car but you get that back when you return the car. We are definitely going to be renting from Enterprise again. read more

I have rented with them several times while my car has been in the shop. The cars aren't cleaned too well. Especially when there is a spill or someome smokes in it. I always have to clean the windows just to be able to see out of it. One of the times I rented, the previous person had left a CD in the car. The office called me and asked if I could drop it by. Ok , No problem. I was at work and planned to drop it off later when I was available to. By the time I got off work the office was closed. Ok, I'll go tomorrow, or next time I'm in the area. Someone for the office called my emergency contact, who was then under the impression someth ing was actually wrong and gave them my work number. The employee then called my work to find me about bringing in the CD. I understand someone wants their stuff back, but for them to hunt me down, after I already said I would drip it off is ridiculous. It was a mixed CD at that, just burn another one. Unfortunately I'm not going to cross the bridge just to get a rental car. read more

I entered the Gretna,LA location on 12/22/17 at 11:55 AM with a 12 noon reservation. I drove out at 1:10 PM. They were understaffed and seemed to be lacking direction as the employees were running around helter skeltor. I was not given any paperwork when I left and the car was about on empty. Absolutely horrible customer service. I was assured there would be a rental car available through my insurance yesterday, and when I got there, they had nothing available. They told me they would have something at 11:00 today, and when I called, they told me they still didn't have anything available until 3:00 today. They told me they could not pick me up from my location (which is one of the services they offer), so I had to get a friend to bring me. They told me they would have a car available when I got here, and they did not have the full size I needed. They were going to put me in an intermediate size, then a full size magically appeared from the airport. There were two people at the front desk, but the phone was ringing off the hook with nobody answering it. They don't know what inventory is coming in or out. I recently visited this particular Enterprise car rental in Gretna on Westbank Expressway. I am currently in one of there vehicles. The whole staff are simply amazing. They were very professional greeted me soon as I stepped out of my SUV. Now, that is what I call a great staff. I will keep them in mind in the future. Came here to pick up a car, we booked online a week prior for our trip and this place is so slow. They have at least 5 people working here (that I can see) and they are taking forever for us to get our car. The employees didn't have much acknowledgement of the customers waiting. Had a reservation for a noon pickup. We had a prepaid tour at 1 half an hour away. We got here at 1145 and discovered that not only do they not have a car for us, but there are 3 folks ahead of us waiting for a car. This is not okay. We are expected to turn our car in on time, if they don't have our reservation on time, we should get a discount. We will be complaining to corporate and expecting Enterprise to make this right. read more

I have never been so disappointed with renting a car from Enterprise as I was this trip. We landed in New Orleans at approx. 3:35 their time on 9/2/17. After spending $90 for a taxi from the airport to the Comfort Suites Harvey hotel. The group, 4 individuals, decided we would rent a car on Saturday, 9/2/17. I contacted the Gretna location, I explained to them I was not from the area but needed to rent a car, that I needed a pick-up from the hotel and then a drop-off to the port on 9/3/17. They informed me I had the wrong location and gave me the number to the Baronne St locations. After speaking with them they assured me that they could pick me up at 10 a.m., 9/2/17. We, myself and fiancé, waited until 10:15 on 9/2/17 and finally called only to be told they couldn't pick me up. I had to make 3 additional phone calls before finally getting the correct location. We lost 90 minutes of our sightseeing time. As a Plus member I expected better. Guess my expectations were to high. Again, very disappointed. read more

The Staff at Enterprise were very helpful. I forgot their names but I went in 4 weeks ago to get a vehicle after an accident. Once they received my claims they new exactly what to do. The Manager of the Saturday morning shift was very nice and helpful. She put me at ease. Three weeks later. The young lady at the desk was just as helpful. (She worked on a Tuesday afternoon.) I always had a good experience renting vehicles either on vacations or in my recent accident. I think the only time I didn't rent from Enterprise was because they had no vehicles. First on both reservations, the representatives who called to verify I would be picking up the cars were great. One named Renata, I don't remember the others name. I've rented from this particular Enterprise several times. In May, I rented a car for a trip to Jacksonville. When the rental was pulled around, it was still wet, the representative had to remove the access water, on top of all that, the gas light was on. I was told if I wanted to wait, they could send someone to put gas in the car or I can, and they would give me a credit once returned. My husband brought the car back, no credit, then when I called, I was told the ticket was closed out so I would not be able to receive a credit. In June, I rented a van. I waited for almost 2 hours because my initial rental was a small SUV and they had to make sure the person who reserved the van had changed their mind (understandable). I rented the van for a week, but inquired about possibly returning it early. I picked the van up on Saturday and called Wednesday to see if I could bring it in because it would save me $100. When I spoke to Randy, she said that it was after the time I picked it up, so I would be charged another day, but if I brought it in on Thursday, I would be charged for a week and could return it Saturday for the same charge. Needless to say, I had a van sitting in my driveway for 3 days. To make matters worst, I told them I needed to use their drop off service, I was told, "We will do this as a courtesy, but usually we don't go all the way to Avondale to drop off". I was offended as I have used this location several times. I don't think I ever plan to rent from this location again, especially after giving them $100 more then I needed too! read more

When attempting to pick up the car my family and I had rented for a graduation, we were first told to go fetch some documents in order to pay for the rented vehicle. Upon our return to the establishment, we were again told to leave and fetch even more documents and a different method of payment than they had initially agreed to accept for us to be able to actually pay for the vehicle. Because we had to leave several times before being able to get the vehicle, several memebers of my family were late to the graduation, and unable to actually be seated until after the commencement began. If this company better catered to families without, we would have been able to simplify this process by at least an hour. Requiring specific documents to prove one's identity is one thing, but not being able to buy something with money makes absolutely no sense and actually creates significant issues for poorer families. Before we made the purchase, we literally had to find someone with the appropriate payment method before we could leave; ultimately resulting in our late arrival to the first college graduation our family has seen. read more

We rented a full size (Chevy Impala) from here - and found the member of staff we deal with to be sweet, incredibly kind, thoughtful and helpful. She really went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the car. Two days later, when we were in Alabama, the car's Check Engine light came on and with lots more driving ahead of us, I called Enterprise and asked if we could switch the car at the office in Daphne, AL After unsuccessfully trying to fit our luggage into a similar full size car, the agent immediately gave us an upgrade to a very large and comfortable SUV (Hyundai Santa Fe), which we loved for the rest of our 1300 mile (one-way) trip. And, they called the next day to check everything was going OK. The final bill was exactly what was quoted, with no extra charge for the new car or the unexpected drop-off. Overall I was incredibly impressed with Enterprise's customer service throughout, and will certainly rent from them again. read more

My experience at this Enterprise location was okay. The vehicle that I ended up with was smokey & I hate smoke. I utilized the pick up service and the gentleman that picked me up was courteous & friendly although he was late. Once we arrived at the location, he immediately began the process of taking my documents & having me sign forms. When I scheduled the rental I had requested a full size car however he tells me there are no full size cars currently available. They offered me a caravan, F150 and a Toyota Corolla instead. I'm a young woman and I'm sorry I did not want a caravan, F150 or a Corolla. I had friends coming in town & none of those vehicles would suffice. Because they had no other vehicles to offer me, I ended up with a Chevy SUV that was just arriving. They also agreed to waive the gas. I was in such a rush because I was already behind schedule that once I realized the vehicle was smokey I was already gone & I knew they wouldn't have a replacement vehicle. I'm happy it was only a 1 day rental. I would say they have great customer service but the number of available vehicles to meet customer's request is poor. When I returned the vehicle the next day, I overheard them tell a new customer that they did not have her request & they offered her an F150 as well. Perhaps they need more vehicles or maybe they should accept less request. read more
