    Husband made reservations for a mid-size suv. We pulled up the parking lot as empty. He checked in with Lexy and she said they were waiting for cars to be dropped off. We waited about 20 minutes no cars came. There was a vehicle outside that I could use and we were upgraded. Appreciate the help from Lexy.

    Do not rely on confirmation. They will not honor it. You will waste gas and your time. Find another company to rent from.

    I made a reservation online and when I showed up, the clerk stated that there were no rentals available. I had a rental confirmation. He then said there were 5 other people waiting 1 hour for a rental. I stated I drove 10 miles to la mesa because they said they had a car available and the clerk could care less. Poor customer service. The least they could do is not allow confirmation if there are not vehicles available. I will also be reporting this to the BBB if this is not rectified.

    Customer service was horrible. I had an appointment booked through USAA, arrived at the office to pick up my rental, horrible attitude from customer service and they made me wait just under one hour to get my rental. They couldn't care less about my time. I finally got a Ford F150 with 34,000 miles on it empty tank of gas and the car has a horrible smell. They told me they had no other vehicles that they could give me that would work for me so I have to go to a different enterprise to get a vehicle that hopefully will work. I'm not going to be using this location again in the future.

I asked why their lack of planning and poor availability should fall on me as the customer, especially with a confirmed reservation. I was told "it is what it is" -- either pay more for a different vehicle or get nothing. When I called customer service, the representative suggested I should have called ahead before showing up, which defeats the purpose of having a reservation in the first place. First, they did not have any cars available for 3 days. Then, they called me at 8AM after day 3, wondering when I wanted my car... I had told them 3 days prior that I wanted it as soon as possible. They let me know that they should have a car soon, and that they'd give me a call later that day. Noon rolls around and no call. I still need a car and I'm fed up. They take an hour lunch break at 12:30 PM, so I called them exactly at 1:30 PM. No answer. I have to call repeatedly throughout the day to talk to someone. Then finally I get a car. Except it wasn't the one I was promised... whatever, at least I have a car now.

Shortly after leaving there location we got a odor of smoke. I reached out to Enterprise customer service and they noted the complaint and referred me back to the location I had picked the vehicle up from. When I returned I brought it to the managers attention. Jerry the Manager apologized and took responsibility for their mistake. I appreciate his level of professionalism he did not make excuses and took care of the matter. I can tell this location is busy and mistakes are prowned to happen when trying to deal with several customers at a time. In the end when a mistake is made by a company it says a lot about how a company responds and the attitude they take to correct the situation. The people at this location made me leave the shop to take the car to the gas station to top it off even after given my situation. They gave me another vehicle that I didn't have the option to choose, I mentioned that the new car had a funny smell and the guy admitted to me that the car had been sitting there for a while :/ then when I got home I realized that the mirror on the sun visor was shattered. They didn't properly inspect the car before giving it to me. My whole experience was so frustrating. Luckily I was able to go back to the original location (1145 National City) and Brandon was able to get everything situated for us. Hoping everything works out

No name tags; told me to call customer service to see if they had another vehicle; no manager's name.
