Fun fact: Budget and Avis are basically cousins--same location, same staff--but somehow Budget be minding their business with better prices I thought having a business account was gonna make me feel VIP... nope. The real VIP move is booking online early. I booked my SUV ahead of spring break and saved a good $60-$80. Last-minute people? Prayers They kept texting me about an "upgrade," got me all excited... just to tell me it's based on availability. Baby, then why are we texting?? Still, they gave me a 2025 Jeep that was clean, comfy, and fully loaded--Bluetooth, SiriusXM, double sunroof, push start... okayyy I see you! Car ran smooth, no issues, easy return. No drama, just vibes. Moral of the story: Budget = bang for your buck. Book early and keep your expectations for "upgrades"... flexible and as always, you can thank me later

    The truck was already in poor condition when it was provided to me, with the check engine light on…read more I was told that this was "normal" and that it was okay to proceed, which is completely unacceptable. Shortly after, the truck began overheating. When I went to the location to report the issue, the staff refused to assist and told me to contact roadside assistance, despite the fact that the problem was clearly visible. The coolant reservoir was missing its cap, and most of the coolant had leaked out, leaving it at a dangerously low level. Due to the lack of support, I was forced to purchase four gallons of coolant out of pocket. Even after doing so, the truck continued to malfunction and was not operating properly. This situation reflects a serious lack of professionalism and responsibility. Providing a vehicle in this condition, then refusing to assist when a clear mechanical failure occurs, is unacceptable. The entire experience fell far below reasonable standards of safety and service.

I've rented equipment and space from many other companies but nothing has ever been as clear and easy as this truck and storage rental. And it was reasonably priced. I rented a pretty big truck with a ramp for a day and it cost less than $55! Amazing. I only wish this facility had a massive property of drive-up storage so I could rent one from them.

    I am writing this review to thank one of your employees and her thoughtfulness. I am not a truck…read moredriver nor do I own a semi truck , but I do have a connection to this company from my dad. My dad use to work for the Kenworth factory in Mexicali many years ago and ended up retiring from there. He loved his job and was very well respected employee. He unfortunately passed away recently and I wanted to buy some merchandise in his remembrance. I went into your store hoping to buy some small merchandise for myself and my mom. Upon talking to your employee Allie ( sorry if I misspelled it) I informed her of why I was there and why I wanted to buy merchandise. I asked her that I was considering on buying the Kenworth emblem thats normally found on the front grill of semi trucks. She told me that I could buy it but it would have to be ordered and it would come out to be around 250$. Regardless of the priced I knew I wanted to buy one. It was at this moment she told me to hold on. She went to their shop to check if they had one laying around that she could sell to me but ended up coming empty handed. Realizing I would have to buy one she did something that I feel shows a true act of human kindness. She told me that she had one of those exact emblems in her garage and it was just sitting there. She told me that she would bring it to me the following day and gift it to me. I know she didn't have to give it to me but the thought of her going out of her way to bring me this emblem that had deep significance to me made my instantly cry on the spot.     If I could give this place negative stars I would. First I reserved a 10ft truck for $19.95. I also…read moregot a furniture dolly & moving blankets. So I get there and I'm told they only have a 20ft truck for me. I'm told I would get the truck for the same price as the smaller truck. They also did not have the furniture dolly either. I asked the guy that was helping me what I would be charged if I happen to be an hour or two late dropping off the truck. He specifically told me I would ONLY be charged $19.95. I asked him twice and repeated it back to him to clarify and he repeated the same price. My sister was with me and heard/witnessed this. I documented where the gas was, looked at the vehicle for any damage and went on to move my belongings. The next day I stop and get gas, filling it up past where the gas gauge was when I got the truck and returned the truck a couple hours late. Now there is another man assisting me, whom I believe is the owner. The man then proceeds to try charging me an additional day plus all of these other fees and then tries to tell me I was off on the gas by 1/8th a gallon, tacking on more charges. I explain to him that the guy who helped me the day before specifically told me that I would only be charged $19.95 total if I was late, and that I don't know how I could be off on gas when the gauge is above what it was when I got the truck. The man proceeded to berate me, try to intimidate me, and essentially called me stupid. He said "you should have read the fine print, don't you know how to read?!". Of which I was only later emailed a "contract" of the original agreement. I asked him if he was calling me stupid, and he just continued to yell at me. I told him that it's false advertisement to have his employees telling customers a price and then charging something different later. He said "I know what my guys tell people", to which I replied "so you were here? You heard what he said, because I have a witness, feel free to check the cameras." He basically told me "oh well, it's not my problem". He began yelling and berating me again, in a very aggressive way. I had my friend with me as well and she witnessed the entire thing. So not only was I charged almost $200 for a $19.95 truck rental but I was traumatized by this man. Why men think they can rip women off and get away with it is completely insane. They should not be a U-Haul dealer and frankly should be shut down. That's not how you do business and as a matter of fact, I'm seeking legal action against this business and the man specifically for his harassing and threatening behavior towards me, as well as ripping me off.
