SCAM. Waste of time and money. This idiot failed to mention on the phone there would be an additional $250 charge for the deposit after me spending $80 on a cab to get to the bank and here. He wouldn't accept card and tried getting us to go to the bank to pull out the money or CASH APP which not everyone has. He had the audacity to get annoyed we were trying to figure out the CASH APP app because he had another customer waiting on him. He should have let us know it would be more than the $300 he said it would be. read more

I rented a car from them. They did not tell me how many miles per day they charged. When I brought the car back, they charged me an extra 150 dollars. When I told them that they never explained limited mileage on the car, they told me that they had explained it over the phone. If they would have explained it over the phone, I never would have rented from them. Plus, they did not have the car I rented in the first place, and the car they gave me smelled like smoke. And, they also wanted to charge me for smoke. I felt scammed. read more

I rented through the turo app and the night before they said the vans not available, they cancelled my turo and rented me a much older, crappier van through there company. They argued with me about the cleaning and the $250 deposit. The argued in front of my children. Not good customer service and not good vechile. Would NOT recommend. read more

Worst staff EVER. They tried to charge me a deposit fee even though I've rented a vehicle through the app Turo. They alleged that it was described in their Turo guidelines but after contacting Turo they said it's gray market what these guys are doing. Plus, the owner yelled at me and told me to get the f*ck out of his sh**ty store. NEVER GO THERE. What an annoying experience! 1. Made a reservation online, they can't find it/have no record of it. 2. Have to go searching for a car, as none (as described in website) are available. 3. Car turns out to be a 'rent-a-wreck'...radio broken, car dirty, stinky, and sticky, many scratches and dents, rear view mirror falling off, sharp edges in vehicle due to plastic being broken off, tires to big for bumper resulting in horrible squealing when turning, front lights missing, hubcap held ion by zip tie, resulting in THREE people stopping me to tell me my tire is falling off, and evidently no muffler because it sounds like a truck (Toyota Yaris) 4. No one here when I try to return car, despite me telling them the day I was returning and them assuring me they would be open till 6 (Note: website actually says closed on Sunday, so I was surprised to hear this) 5. Left car at 3:10 pm and TWO phone messages explaining this and that I kept keys due to theft concerns and would bring them by at 7:30 am. Received phone call asking where keys are. Returned call and explained again! (Left messages on all 3 calls) 6. Have been sitting at shop since 7:30 am. Advertised as opening at 8 am. It is now 8:20 am and NO ONE in sight!! 7. 8:40 am and STILL no one! 8. Finally showed up at 9:02 am 9. Evidently ignored the 3 messages I had left. 10. Gentleman who helped me was polite, but hard to understand and had issues with technology. DO NOT use these people! If I could give ZERO points, I would! read more

They came up with a settlement im ok with the truck ended up throwing out a transmisson and the ujoints their mechanic put on snapped and and came off with the driveshaft.. With that being said the sales men and the manager made right with me which i do appreciate and im grateful for they just need to contract different mechanics. * SCAM ALERT* Rented via the Turo app. I had a well documented agreement with owner prior to picking up the vehicle, that he would allow 200miles/day for the original daily charge through Turo (even though the Turo allowed less per day). I thought this was so nice of him and was really excited about renting the vehicle. Upon renting, the vehicle did not come as expected, it was clearly a converted police vehicle, which lead to numerous mechanical issues for the entirety of the trip. Due to these mechanical issues, the car broke down on the way back. Owner was impossible to deal with, he tried to tell me I was responsible for getting the car back to San Diego, when I had already used my AAA membership to have it towed 100 miles closer to him (not my responsibility). Owner then tried to charge me over $300 in damage claims through the Turo app for over-mileage (which according to our agreement there were none), and gas and cleaning (which were only necessary due to the breakdown). I had a bad feeling right off the bat, due to the fact that when I went to pick up the vehicle owner told me a $250 deposit, which was never mentioned in writing, was required. Thankfully, I put this deposit on my American Express, so the owner was unable to take the deposit from me, since I had documentation to back up the fact that his deposit claims against me were based on a scam. Great Service! I had to come all the way out here to have my brother help me rent a car rental. I know through Avis you have to be over 25 years old to rent, so I thought it might be everywhere. My brother and I came here on a whim hoping for the best and that is what we received. Thank god for the great customer service and the overall information that we gained from this experience.
