My mom had to rent a car yesterday 6/17/25 not knowing if her's would make it to an appointment up in LA. Brittney and Dale are complete and utter superstars. Not only do they give fantastic service, a wonderful, comfortable, safe car to rent, but their mannerism goes above and beyond. They are the two the we only want to do business with due to their efficiency, professionalism and kindness. Five stars is not nearly enough to give/rat these two and our experience. Victor is extremely unprofessional. This has been one of the biggest hassles I've ever dealt with in a rental experience. Every step has been full of confusion and back-and-forth. On the phone, I was given conflicting information -- lots of hemming and hawing, talking in circles, and being told things couldn't be done, only to have those things later changed. When I arrived, I spent over an hour at the counter, and in the end my car still had to be switched out. To make matters worse, the price I was quoted beforehand wasn't the price I was charged once I got there. Customer service was particularly disappointing. Victor, in particular, made the experience extremely unpleasant. He was dismissive, unhelpful, and very difficult to communicate with. In my opinion, he should seriously reconsider a career in customer service. Overall, the entire process has been stressful, time-consuming, and unnecessarily complicated. I would not recommend renting here. read more

I was in here today 4/21/25 and got the worst service I've ever gotten from Victor. He would not open the car for my daughter who just came out of the hospital. He made me feel as if I or my daughter were criminals. This has NEVER happened to me once in all the times I've been renting because I have to drive my daughter to USC Keck in Los Angeles and it would never make it. While Victor was shutting on and off the car my daughter asked "Where's Greyson?" because he is what an employee should be. Kind, gracious, understanding. Nope! He ignored her which goes back a long time with how she's been treated. Unacceptable the way I was treated and the way he treated my daughter. I want to be compensated for how he was. If Victor runs the Enterprise Rent A Car in Laguna Beach then I will go to another location who makes it about the people who are renting and not making them feel like garbage. On top of everything else the car is filthy dirty. Shouldn't one expect a clean car with a $300 deposit. Totally unacceptable. read more

I had a minor accident which my insurance sent me to this location for the rental since the other one in mission Viejo didn't have any cars. They gave me an Audi Q5 which I drove home. The next day I got in the rental the tire pressure light was on. I thought there might be a leak so I waited till afternoon to take it to the gas station and fill the tire. By then the pressure was so low I had to take it to the Tire shop! Enterprise had given me a car with a flat tire on a weekend! Unbelievable. I waited hours at the shop to have the tire replaced on a rental car. Well it didn't cost me money coz luckily the tire shop worked with enterprise but it cost me a lot of time wasted on this over a weekend. Check your cars before renting them out to your customers. read more

This location is not willing to help us, since ENTERPRISE GAVE US a vehicle with EXPIRED tags, registration and insurance. Registration and tags expired in 07/2022, insurance in 2021. I call to ENTERPRISE, phone attendant told us to go to this location because is the nearest we have. I call in advance to the location, and they rejected to help us. I came to drop off my rental and the brunette girl said she needed my ID to return it. So I go home and come black with my ID and give it to her and she says "oh we don't need your ID to return the vehicle" what's annoying is that the man who initially rented the vehicle to me was standing right there, but did not say anything before I drove all the way back to my house on a Monday morning to grab the ID that I did not need. Usually have a good experience at enterprise locations, but I think I'll try avoiding this one if possible. They are not very helpful. read more

Timothy displayed amazing customer service skills and is very customer oriented. His customer service skills should be the standard for customer service everywhere. When it came to picking up the vehicle he spent time showing me where the buttons and controls of the vehicle is located, showed me all the prior damages, and did a walk around the vehicle with me, so I can checked for damages he might have missed. When it came to returning the vehicle I was having issues with some of the payment with the insurance company that provided me the rental (completely the insurance company's fault). I tried contacting the insurance company and couldn't get a hold of the adjuster. I let Timothy know what was happening and he reached out to the adjuster until he was able to get hold of him. Timothy still couldn't get the issue resolved with the insurance company and eventually he came up with a resolution himself that worked out to my favor. Honestly if yelp had an option Timothy would get 10 stars out of 5 stars. Honestly I couldn't thank Timothy enough for taking away burden that the insurance company was creating. read more

Rented a car they upgraded us to a Ford Focus . Returned car the following the morning due to unsafe shaking. When returned the agent was aware of condition She said since they converted these cars from manual to automatic and didn't convert the transmission on conversion She also said her friend had the same car but when she drove this car she was very disappointed My wife used the car to drive 4 children and felt very unsafe. This car should not be rented to anyone as agents are aware of shaking and they also presented it as an upgrade. read more

I am very disappointed with this particular Enterprise.. First off they have changed the staff so much. In the 4 years there is not one same consistent staffer there. Which leads to the second issue, non-relational, in personal care. When there is such turnover or moving around to different enterprises in OC, this perpetuates the lack of relations with your customers in the surrounding community. My last rental experience was nightmarish. I wish they would keep at least one consistent person at that site for the sake of them getting to know their customers who rent consistently. As with any franchised business, there is a lot of staffing turn-over, but the staff at this location have been consistently wonderful! After an accident, the other driver's insurance arranged my rental through Enterprise in Laguna. I've rented from Enterprise several times before, and everyone has been great to deal with. It's a small, high-volume location and each time I was treated with courtesy and kindness. This recent rental experience was no different. Brandon was great to deal with, as was Spencer at the Newport Beach location. The two women at Laguna were deeply apologetic that a car was not readily available for me, and offered to make things right for me. I didn't get their names, but they were terrific as well. As always, a great rental experience in such a busy, small store. High turn-over is to be expected, but everyone I have dealt with over the years has been excellent. Awesome location and service! I was visiting family in Laguna beach and decided to take a road trip to San Diego. I booked a vehicle online a week ahead and got an awesome rate. $30 a day for a luxury vehicle. I called Enterprise in Laguna 15 minutes before we were ready to leave and Trevor came and picked us up in the car that we were renting. Trevor was so nice and helpful. We really could tell that he wanted us to feel comfortable before we started our road trip. Trevor was patient and explained all that enterprise had to offer as well as carefully and thoroughly went over the condition of the car. Besides for a few scratches on the body, the car was in great shape and very clean on the inside. Returning the car was a breeze! I will definitely rent from this place again and hope more employees can be as awesome as Trevor was! read more

I've found myself in the position of needing to rent a car to drive back and forth from San Francisco and have had nothing but great experiences with the folks and cars here. They're friendly and professional and are always willing to cart me back and forth from my mom's house. Even though this is a service provided by Enterprise, in the past with other locations I've felt like it's a hassle for them. I found them by accident when a car I rented in SF had a blow out on the way down and the phone the national service people suggested I buy my own replacement and get reimbursed through Enterprise later! Not overly wild about the idea, I drove it to the Laguna Canyon location and the manager switched it out for me while they had the tire replaced for me. If you're lucky enough to be there when the taco truck is out front, you can get some decent carne asasa at the same time! read more

They are open 8-5, M-F, but when i arranged to pick up a car within an hour, and arrived at 1:30pm, no one was there. I waited for 35 min before 2 workers showed up, looks like they had left for lunch, and locked up the office while they were out. I expect businesses to honor their hours. read more

The staff was so nice, helpful, and very sympathetic to my situation in dealing with Farmer's insurance(not my insurance company but the company of the person who hit my car). The only thing good about this place is location. When I needed to have my car repaired at Caliber next door I called and reserved a rental a few days ahead of pick up. We arrived at 8 am when the office is supposed to open only to stand outside in the cold for almost 25 minutes. The 2 staff members arrived at the same time and did not even apologize or acknowledge being late. 'Who's next' is how the crowd of us waiting at that point was greeted. I should have known it was all going downhill at that point. They informed 2 people ahead of me that they have no cars to rent, even though they had reservations. When it was our turn they tell us that they don't have any class of cars we rented and we would have to take what they have or come back later. What?! Why even make reservations?! I asked if someone could bring a car to my work and switch it but they said they don't do that anymore...isn't their selling point we pick you up? I rent all the time for business but always use Avis and never have an issue. We drove off beyond frustrated and late for work in a filthy car. Later that day we went to the airport and did the switch ourselves. I called the corporate office and let them know what happened. They said someone would get in touch in the next 72 hours. It's been almost 2 weeks and nothing. Don't bother with this location.. just go to the airport or better yet, rent from someone else, guarantee you will get better customer service somewhere else. I've been using Enterprise for at least 5 years as my sole rental company. Boy was I surprised when they tacked on a $5 gas charge after I had filled the tank to the point indicated on the contract even after I pointed this out. So $5 is not a big deal--but it is an indicator of how they regard the customer. read more

A couple of times per year I need a rental to drive to and from Modesto, CA to visit my mother (370 miles each way). The staff at this office has always been very helpful and the vehicles have been in top shape. While I live only 2 blocks from another Enterprise office in Laguna Hills, this office, about 7 miles away, usually has cheaper rates and the staff didn't mind picking me up and driving me home. read more
