We've rented thru enterprise many times and never had an experience like we did today. The branch manager was 110% rude, brushed us off like we were dog shit on his shoes that he needed to wipe off and get the hell away from us. Called enterprise customer service, was crying that's how upset I was, that gentleman was nice and changed to our rental to a different location which we willing to drive to get what we needed and said we would have no problem and he was going to have a higher manager call us. Drove half hour to get our rental but they were already told we were basically bad news and refused to work with us. To top off the higher up manager called us and basically said it was all my fault, the manager did nothing wrong and basically was wrote off; I could call back "if I wanted" but in the end I was at fault and that was it. Called him back to at least give him our side of the story but he supposedly call me back but still waiting and I've tried calling three times and nothing. I will never ever cosinder them an option and you shouldn't either. read more

I think this was the easiest experience I've EVER had renting a car. I made a booking for the same day through Priceline for $40. I always dread renting cars because it usually takes forever to fill out the paperwork and actually get the car, and the price you're quoted online is almost never the price you pay after all is said and done. HOWEVER! When I arrived at this Enterprise, my car was ready for me, and I was charged exactly what I was quoted on Priceline-- no hidden fees, no guilt-trippy up-selling, or weird charges for fake insurance! This was all completed by friendly and competent staff, and I was in and out within 15 minutes. Dropping the car off later that day was just as easy-- if not easier. 10/10 would recommend them, and 10/10 would use them again! read more

All they want is your money. My car was rear ended in an accident. A full size sedan was supposed to be arranged for me. When getting the rental car today I was only offered an intermediate vehicle unless I paid them out of pocket. Had to arrange another ride home to call my insurance and now they won't drop off a car at my residence when they had no problem dropping off a car at the collision repair. The previous time my car was hit they pulled the same thing. All they want to do is scam extra money from you when the insurance companies are already paying them. Not to mention that time they tried giving me a vehicle with front end damage with the service engine and other warning lights on. Total scammers. Got rear ended, Enterprise gave me a Nissan Rogue. Drove it home, then drove my daughter to daycare the next morning. Went to open the door and the whole latch fell out of the door panel. Didnt even have the car 25 hrs. Took it back and they gave me a Durango for 3 weeks. Clearly they never inspected the Nissan after it was returned, NOW they're filing a claim with my insurance like this was MY FAULT?! What a joke. Didn't have any issues with grabbing the car but, let me tell you, this was the DIRTIEST rental we have EVER been in. I found a Cheeto in the car, trash in every corner, and pieces of MARIJUANA in the car. You can tell this car did not get cleaned at all, not even a look at. The people who work here are useless, might as well have a self check out. Oh and the Manager, what a wast of money!!! I'm telling you there is no need for people to be here, they just do what they are told. Totally automated, they only do what they are program to do. There is no customer service here, it may come across as customer service but trust me it is not customer service, pretend you have a problem and see what happens from there, then you will see the false,contrived customer service come out. They need retraining about true customer service, so fake. It's all fun till you have a issue, than the real crap customer service comes out and they charge you for every little thing they can find. Oh yeah and if you're not from the area skip the hassle and go to another car rental place!! Plus they will not pick up up from the airport, you March your money over to them place it on the counter with all proper identification and then after you match all the requirements they may give you a downgraded car. Save yourself some hassle and take your business elsewhere. I also have to mention that the manger sounded like a 24 year old hallway Monitor with a florescence sash around his chest asking for your hallway pass. We rented a car on July 16 from this location. It turned out to be a nightmare experience. I am writing this review hoping people who rent this location do not get deceived and cheated by people working at this particular location and Enterprise Rent-A-Car company. We made the reservation for a midsized SUV. When we got there, we were told there was no SUV available. We had to pick the only available car at the lot, which was a small Kia Sol. When we did the walk-through around the car with this employee named Juan, he didn't write down the detailed prior damages (scratches, dents, etc.) in the contract we signed, and we were not instructed to check the roof of the car. This has turned out to be the biggest nightmare for us. We got a damage claim from Enterprise claiming we are responsible for all the prior damages before we even rented the car as well as a dent on the roof. We never put anything on the roof and we believe the dent was already there before we rented the car and on top of that we were never instructed to inspect the roof when we did the walk through. Then when I called Juan at this location, he lied and justified everything so eloquently that it's all our fault. When I confronted him that we were not instructed by him to inspect the roof, his response was they checked the car and detailed the car before renting. How about not letting us know we need to inspect the roof????? Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a schema and so dishonest and so is Juan at this location. In addition to no integrity, dishonesty, cheating customers, trying to get money out of customers are their satisfactions. I have never seen any business this dishonest and this low. This is probably the worst car rental company I've been to. I arrived at the scheduled time and am currently trying sitting in their lobby. Ive been here for 1 1/2 hours plus waiting! This has happened the last 3 times I've rented from here. I spoke to the manager and all he can say is "sorry". That doesn't help me much. my wife rented a car through our insurance and drove it home. The next morning she loaded our baby in the back. When she arrived to our daycare provider, the door handle broke off in her hand. She called the office, took the first rental back and got another one. Less than one month later Enterprise filed a claim against our insurance. She then called and spoke with Austin, the office 'manager'. Austin said he'd call back and he never did. Then I called Austin, left a message and he never called me back. The aftercare from this office and corporation is awful. I'll let all of my friends and family know to avoid Enterprise, at all costs. What if this car caught on fire with my wife and daughter inside and they were unable to get out? I would've expected a call back from Austin. I can't believe that this 'manager' never followed up, even with bad news. Again, I will tell my entire network of friends know not to rent from Enterprise. read more

I rented from this location twice recently while my car was undergoing repairs. The first rental came in at $120 per day... completely outrageous considering the quality of the vehicle that they rented to me (Hyundai Accent with 38k miles, scratches and dings on the outside... stains inside). The low tire pressure light came on the first night I had the car, indicating to me the company probably did not even check the tire pressure before checking out the car to me. I had called ahead to see if the car would be ready. Despite that, the car still wasn't ready when I arrived nearly 45 minutes later. Second time I rented, I reserved an SUV vehicle and asked for a pick-up from a location no more than a mile and a half away. It took 45 minutes for the pick-up vehicle to arrive and then another 30 minutes to drive to a different part of Medford to pick someone else up before finally returning to the office... lesson learned: I should have walked. Even then, upon arriving at the office they informed me they needed to go retrieve an SUV from another location. I ended up just settling for a different car that happened to be available. These guys really ought to make an effort to do a better job. read more

I have been a loyal Enterprise customer for almost 30 years. The Medford Oregon location is the only Enterprise location I have ever used that requires 2 utility bills or paycheck stub and a utility bill to rent with a debit card. I have NEVER had any problems renting from the Enterprise locations in Riverside, San Jose, San Francisco, Concord, Corvallis, Denver or any other Enterprise I have had to use. They have all been courteous and gone out of their way to serve me. The Medford Enterprise is the ONLY Enterprise location that has ever refused to work with me or serve me. Their Assistant Managers actually seem to enjoy refusing service. read more

This is the last time I will use this car rental place! I have been going to this location for the past 3+ years because it is the closest location to my house and I used to use Enterprise when I lived in Portland. I rent a car approx 2-3 times a year. My most recent experience was today (which is my birthday, not that it matters). I returned the car 40 mins late and was charged for a hourly rate of $31.33, which is absurd, considering my daily rate was $56.99. Other reasons Enterprise and/or this location sucks: At least twice I have had to wait over an hour for a car that I had reserved weeks in advance. They won't rent me an SUV because I pay with a debit card instead of a credit card. There is only one employee in all this time that has been nice and recognizes the fact I am a returning customer. Literally, every time I go they call to verify my insurance. I rarely have ever seen them do this for anyone else. I normally wouldn't rant about a place but the combination of all these things, on top of being charged for an extra hour, has me peeved! read more

Online I reserved a quote midsize car on quote. Unhappily I did not receive them in size car. Enterprise clerk told me this was equivalent. It was not. A midsize car is not equivalent to a full size SUV. Even I know this. But I had no choice. I could have gone to another rental agency which I did next time. That rental agency, Budget, provided me with a mini SUV, with tiny little wheels and barely enough room for my rear end to fit in the seat. These rental agencies are getting away with murder now. And both times I've asked them for a midsize car and then quoted a price. However when you get to the actual rental agency and you're tired and you want to get the out of the airport, what are you going to do.? They're banking on the idea that you will just accept anything they offer you as an equivalency. read more

Had a great experience with Enterprise in the Medford airport. First off, when I picked up the car in Fresno the agent there neglected to apply my corporate discount which resulted in the final rental cost to be over $1400 when my online reservation gave me a cost of under $700. When I returned the car in Medford I brought this up with the agent and he quickly reworked my reservation bringing the price down to where I was expecting it to be, no questions or hassels. Secondly, as we were taking off from Medford on Saturday my friend realized she had forgotten her coat in the back seat of the car we had. Sunday she called the Medford office asking if anything had been found in the car. The agent she spoke to checked the records on the car and said it hadn't been cleaned yet and that he would go out the the car and check to see if the coat was there. Later in the afternoon he called to say he had found the coat and that he would be shipping it out by FedEx on Monday at no charge. So thank you the Enterprise and the rental agents that were in the Medford counter on Saturday afternoon (10/14) and Sunday morning (10/15) for their excellent customer service!! read more

We had a good experience throughout the pick-up and return process. We were going out of town for the weekend and got an economy car - it was good on gas and we didn't run into any issues. The cons were that the car wasn't as clean as I would've liked it to be, it wasn't there available for us exactly when we were supposed to pick it up (at noon) so we had to wait for a bit (which was fine since we had an easy-going schedule), and also, unfortunately, we found the car somewhat uncomfortable (Chevy Aveo) - seats were awkward and too hard, and the car didn't accelerate very well... BUT we did get an economy car, so I guess you get what you pay for. Overall we had a better experience with these guys than we did with Budget (see my review on them a few months back) and will probably go there again for our next trip out of town. read more

Never before at a business have I sensed so much that they wanted to scam me. Scam #1: I first came to this Enterprise because my car was in the shop and my insurance chose this rental location. I set up my reservation 2 days in advance for a full sized car to be ready at 10am. I called the morning of around 10 to let them know I would be there around 11 instead, and they told me "good, because we are still waiting on a car for you" . So I finally got there around 11 and was told there was STILL no car. I waited until 12:30 and finally got a vehicle (2 and a half hours past my RESERVED time). Apparently their customers that had returns that morning were all MIA. Not my problem, and shows a big flaw in their scheduling process. Scam #2: Once I got my car, I noticed it smelled like someone had smoked in it. Not only did it bother me, but I didn't want to get charged for it when I don't smoke. Then I did some research and found out that the car I got was a MID-SIZED car, not a full sized as I reserved. I called back the next morning and requested a full size car like I originally reserved. It took most of the day to get a car I reserved 3 days ago! Scam #3: Because of the hassle, I requested a reduced price on a future rental. They agreed and made a reservation. I came in for my reservation (picked up 45 minutes late by the Enterprise shuttle!) and they had a car ready for me. As we were going over the paperwork, the clerk (the assistant manager!) was very quick to go over the paperwork. He seemed in a rush, and I figured it was just that they were busy. He described my discounted rate I would pay and my option for insurance. What he didn't mention was the young driver fee he conveniently glossed over in the fast run through. $10 a day! I would have had my husband pick up the car if he would have properly gone over the charges!! Scam #4: When I left with the vehicle, I started noticing issues with the brakes and steering. The brakes pulsed as if the rotors were badly warped, and the steering made a creaking noise. I ignored it, thinking the car was just needing a service. We drove it over the pass towards CA and it did awful! The brakes felt unreliable and frightening! Once we got to Sacramento, 300 miles from home, the ABS failure light and traction control light came on. Great... Scam #5: We had to drive 40 miles out of the way the next morning to make sure we got a reliable car for the ride home. The sac airport location was very understanding and was perplexed that they sent us to CA in such a bad car. My shuttle driver took it to pick me up and he didn't notice it? WOW. We got home and explained it to the Medford location. They apologized and offered to pay for the rental. That was nice, but it was such a hassle and danger that we felt it warranted a future discounted rental, since this rental was supposed to make up for a PREVIOUS rental! The asst. manager just stood there looking at us and said I understand. At the end he offered us a 10% discount. Yeah right... I will take my business and loved ones elsewhere, where they have safe cars and aren't focused on scamming you! read more

I think this Enterprise location was the best rental car place I've been in all my years of traveling. My car broke down from SF to PDX and I got stuck in Medford while my car was being fixed. I rented a car and only had it overnight but they were so focused on customer service that they actually called me that night and asked me how the car was and how satisfied I was! Plus, at the check in counter they have free drinks which I don't see at many places. I would highly recommend this friendly, useful Enterprise. read more

We received a confirmation to pick up a vehicle on 4-6 at the Medford Enterprise branch (airport) . Two days before the pick up I moved everything back one day to 4-7. I have a screen shot of the Modify Rental Details with the confirmation of dates and times. When we went to pick up the vehicle they said there was no reservation under our confirmation number or name. Called another branch and they were able to find the reservation, but showed it as cancelled. I did not cancel the reservation. It's been a mess. There was a brief attempt to fix the screw up, without success. I don't believe the Grants Pass branch wanted to honor the cheaper rate from the Medford branch, which is why they were unable to find one vehicle in two days. Never again. read more

Will never rent from this particular Enterprise again. It does not matter if their deposit holds are $100 less than their competitors, they suck! Unprofessional, fake staff who cannot think beyond the "company lines" programed into their training. Got there, had to wait due to having issues with technology (meanwhile two customers who came in after got their cars and left the lot before we did). Received a car smaller than what we reserved (we are sort of tall people and paid a little more for a bigger type of vehicle for a reason). What made things worse? Car wasn't cleaned properly (as in no one vacuumed or cleaned up debris left under car seats from previous renters, car had a scratch and the adaptive cruise control did not work! I would give them zero stars if I could, especially considering the fact they DOUBLE CHARGED us. They were suppose to only post the initial charge (which included the extra $100 deposit hold). Instead, they ran the charge twice, the first was for the car rental price and the "refundable" (have yet to receive our deposit even though it's been almost a full week since returning their rental) deposit. The pending hold, was NEVER meant to go through as a "real" charge. After returning the vehicle they processed another charge, this time for the car alone. But guess what? It still shows on our account that the "deposit hold/rental car charge" is still pending (and of course the banks took it out even though they weren't suppose to). Tried to explain to this particular branch location that we understood the initial deposit would show, but why was the money taken out when we returned the vehicle in perfect condition? With staff like this, don't be surprise if they drop the ball on your rental too and end up double charging you because of their carelessness. read more

After a long day of travel I was surprised to find out I accidentally booked a rental from the downtown location instead of the airport. I was so thrilled to find out the rates downtown were WAY less than the airport, and it was just a short Uber ride which made it well worth the trip. I was greeted by Chanelle, who was so friendly and welcoming, like I had known her for years. She was very patient while I was rather disorganized, and made my experience so pleasant and easy! You end up paying way more than quoted...every time. have rented a few times from them now and each time it is 50 to 100 more than expected. They skim over the fine print...so be sure you study it all. Even then i get the feeling theyll come up with something!!! Just plan on it and then you won't be upset in the end!!!
