By far the best rental car place I've ever been! The Enterprise counter, along with the rest of the rental cars counters, is right outside the gates of the small Medford airport. You can't miss it. There's only one line - no separate line for elite members. We arrived pretty late at night due to a delayed flight, and the person helping us get our car was very kind and patient, thank you for working the night before July 4! We were one of the first to deboard our plane so we didn't have a wait, but a line did form behind us. The lot containing the rental cars is just outside the airport, take a left if you are exiting. Never have I ever rented from a car just sitting in a lot rather than a parking structure haha! Our Hyundai Elantra was clean and ran with no issues at all. Upon return, there was staff ready to check us in. I like to throw out my trash just as a curtesy but they were insistent that I leave it! So kind of them especially to be working in the heat. Don't bother making a reservation, it's meaningless. When I got to the counter they told me wouldn't be able to honor my reservation due to a massive, systematic issue with one-way bookings on their website. The agent said this was a long running problem that has never been fixed. The system is renting out cars that they don't have! The agent was super apologetic about it, for what its worth. She blamed corporate. But this problem should be a five alarm fire. I can't imagine how many vacations this software problem has disrupted. Enterprise, fix your reservation system, please! Pay your IT guys a bonus to come in on saturday, hire consultants, whatever. This is a wild problem to just accept as a fact of life. It's the kind of thing that instantly destroys trust. No concern for not having a car for a confirmed reservation. I had engine trouble with my car and called to reserve a vehicle. After the tow truck dropped me off at the airport the desk clerk informed me that they had no cars and didn't seem to care that was stranded at the airport. Today I called to ask if they had a car which they did, and that they would honor the price. They later called back to say it would be nearly twice the price. The car they gave me was okay except both seats hurt our backs. I noticed padding was falling out of the seats to the rear floor.

They charge you for walking to get your car and walking from the parking lot to desk to drop off your keys. I dropped the car off in the parking lot at my assigned time but was charged an extra $21.56 an hour for apparently being 15 minutes late. I was asked to drop the keys in the key drop even though someone was there but she didn't want to get off her phone to check me in. read more

I am (or was) mere pennies from being a platinum level client with them after years and years of use both personally and on our corporate account. The last three times I rented, or tried to rent there they screwed up everything and then expected me to drive whatever was available, pay extra, drive further, etc. because they can't get it right. THREE CONSECUTIVE TIMES! I can forgive and laugh about one. Twice I think, what's going on over there? But three in a row? No way. That's not a pattern, that's a business practice. When I reserve, I show. Being a few minutes late (literally) and having your rent my vehicle out from beneath me and expecting me to drive a large pickup to Seattle and back for work is unacceptable. They are bumpy, expensive to run, and have no room for luggage out of the rain. Never having the confirmed vehicle classification is unacceptable. Who are you loyal to if you don't take care of high volume customers? Must be no one. Or maybe someone coming in off the street for a quick booking? I don't know. Forgive me for booking in advance so that you can conduct reasonable fleet management. Just because you choose to close the in-town source, and move your employees and vehicles to the airport does not meant that, with a confirmed booking, that I have to drive further and pay 50% more because of "airport fees and taxes". Not my problem. Anyway, you'll be glad to know, general car-renting public, that Hertz is .5 miles from the airport, has great pricing, friendly helpful people, and they have a bus for transport available 24/7 by appointment. And I've signed up for a loyalty program with them... soooooooo, no more crappy "service" from Enterprise. (Where they don't "pick you up", but they do "drop the ball!") read more

Just tried to rent a car here today. Had a reservation, flew in from Seattle to snowy Medford, OR. Waiting at counter.. girl took my name, credit card and processed my reservation. Here is where the shit drops! Instead of having me fill out the forms, sign,etc.. she just leaves the counter. Never comes back. Now there are 3 more people in line waiting. I waited another 15 minutes.. nobody ever came back. I asked National guy right next door, he said sorry, she wasn't feeling well and left. One of the worst Enterprise Rental experiences ever. Aron pays little to no attention to the long line his new co-worker is trying to serve. And then there was RayLeigh ... no attention to details. Didn't happen to notice we were handicap travelers. She sent me on a wild goose chase into a very large parking lot where I never did find the car. what was worse... it was 90 degrees outside. She gave me her card to call her if I had any problems, problem was they don't answer the phone either. So i had to hike back to the counter... and its a hike. Gee they were worried when I said I would be complaining to corporate about them, suddenly people were finding that car and making sure the handicap couple was situated. Advice.... make sure they KNOW you are handicap and wear walking shoes, it's a long way to their parking lot. read more

Three to four phone conversations had occurred, to this exact location, in regards to our reservation and what had to be done to ensure we'd get a full sized SUV. Knowing the reserved vehicle and our home address, it was never once brought up that a major credit card would be required to pick up that particular type of vehicle. Despite acknowledging this policy/requirement is location specific, that it's not listed anywhere online nor in email correspondence the representative stated there wasn't anything that could be done to make it right. Essentially not much more than a "yeah it should be listed, sorry." Naturally none of this was found to be the case until after my husband had taken an Uber to do the pickup. I called and offered to apply my major credit card to the account which she denied stating I'd have to come in physically. So essentially despite their dropping the ball on any form of prior notification, despite offering a simple resolution on our side they expect us to be out an additional $60+ in fares to/from the airport let alone around the two hours time invested in what should've been a few minutes. Their only lackluster solution was to rent us a minivan of all things, at full price, which completely voids the main reason for renting to begin with (4-wheel drive through passes). Needless to say I'll be avoiding Enterprise as whole now. The representatives at this location need some serious training if they "forget" to notify customers of such a site specific policy. If nothing else maybe clearly list your policy online or in confirmation emails. read more

Ive been a long time customer to Enterprise for over 20 years. On May 27th I rented a Ford Flex from this location and ended up doing a trade in to a smaller vehicle and they charged me the same price which was ridiculously high. Why would I pay over 169$ a day for a Hyundai Tucson? I ended up paying 750$ to have the car for three days. Enterprise has raised their rates to such a high price they have lost me as a costumer forever. Enterprise is a total rip off. Oh and they put a hold on my credit card for 3000$ To rent a Hyundai. June 25, 2018 we made a reservation for pick up July 11, 2018 11:47 p.m. Drop off would've been July 17, 2018 11:32 a.m. this was for the 1000 Terminal Parkway Loop 109 Medford, Oregon, Location. Confirmation #10415682. Intermediate car for $350. We got in and waited in line there was 3 people ahead of us. We got to the counter with our credit card and divers licenses, the the lady there said she had bad news for me, she had "ran out of rental cars". I asked if she had any trucks. She said no, but told me I could try at another rental agency. I asked if she could help me find another vehicle since I was stranded. She said Alamo was sold out. I got upset about being stranded and she smiled and kinda of chuckled. She said she couldn't help me and walked into the back room. Luckily they are all lined up at the small airport and I went to 2 more rental companies before finding a car at Avis. That lady said, oh they do that all the time to people, I can help you. The car was $80 more but I took it. We rent thousands of dollars worth of cars a year from enterprise but we have had enough. If someone would like to make it right reach out. If not it looks like we will be taking our business to Avis. I do not currently recommended this location. read more

My plane landed and I walked up to the enterprise counter by baggage claim, they asked for my first and last name and ID and a form of payment. DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE. We reserved a car from Enterprise in December of last year so 5 months ahead. We came on Memorial Holiday weekend and they said they do not have a car and were told the wait is 1-2 hours. None of the other rental cars companies had any cars left that day so the only solution was to wait. There were people waiting for 3+ hours when we arrived. We asked for them to pay for our Lyft or Uber to go get food and they said they cannot do that. What a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. We took a Lyft to get lunch and came back to airport to be told they cannot give us an estimated time for when the car will be available. We took a Lyft to the hotel and got a call that the car is available 3.5 HOURS after when we were supposed to pick it up. They DO NOT VALUE customers time. They RUINED our first day of vacation because we cannot go anywhere without a car and we needed to stay near by to pick it up when the call. We were told this is not the first time this happens by our Lyft drivers. They do not know how to do inventory to have enough cars for reservations made ahead. Came to town for a wedding and needed a vehicle so I booked several weeks in advance and used me Emerald Club status. The morning I flew in they sent me an email confirming my reservation was ready and vehicle was waiting for me. When I arrive at the counter the agent informs me she is oversold and I was number 20 in line for a vehicle and my emerald status or time I reserved was null and void. It's fort come first served when arriving at the counter. I needed to be up to crater lake as soon as possible and every other car rental agency was sold out so I had to wait, 3 hours to be exact. We ended up missing the wedding ceremony. The agent's apology included a free tank of gas of which we only used $8 of (total rental was $100). I called customer service and was given the runaround, promised a call back so the situation could be remedied but nobody got back to me. I strongly recommend staying away from Enterprise (and National/Alamo for that matter since their parent company is Enterprise Holdings). Their dishonesty, inability to honor a reservation, and terrible customer service caused me to miss a dear friend's wedding. read more

Friendly, Chrysler 300 fancy, great mileage, uncomfortable seats. Only complaint they gave us a full tank of gas that wasn't. Probably how they make a little extra money on renter. When we filled it to take back we got an extra 211 miles worth of gas in tank. Which comes out to $22.41. I had the worst customer service experience three weeks ago at the Enterprise airport location. The redhead lady was rude, blunt, and uncaring. I had asked her at the counter if she had any vehicles and she had told me no. I then called the main Enterprise reservation number and asked if I could get a vehicle elsewhere and they advised that I would need to get it at the airport because the airport is the only location that will accept an out of state debit card. I asked if I could get the available vehicle at the airport and they said yes. He told me showed a vehicle being available soon and took my reservation. When I went up to the redhead with the reserved time, she yelled at me and said that my reservation meant nothing. I asked her what is the purpose of a reservation then, and she responded that I was not guaranteed a vehicle and that my reservation meant nothing. I did not know what to do because she showed no concern in helping me get a vehicle and she was behaving hostile. read more

I travel a lot and I have to say, the personnel at this location are top notch. I was dealing with tough timing during the holidays, waiting on my truck to be shipped from Florida. I reserved a compact online ,when I arrived it being the holidays the car wasn't there. I was upgraded and still kept at the same rate. Due to complications my truck was delayed I ended up with a 2 1/2 week rental, had to bring the car back late because of weather. He noticed my card and that was a veteran. I explained my situation and asked them to work with me, and they gave me a great rate! Excellent!! A rare experience for me in the world of car rental. read more
