I was initially frustrated that our month-old reservation did not "reserve" the vehicle that we wanted. When Corky found out that we needed it for my disabled dad, he hustled-up a mini-van and that was a relief. I was beginning to wonder if we would make it to our vacation. Thanks for finding one all the way down in T.O. and sending your guy to pick it up. We really appreciate it! Update: Good service person. We decided to go with this branch again for our vacation this year and unfortunately received a van that had kind of a "homeless" smell...best I can describe is mildew+musty+dirt, which is quite confusing since it is a very new vehicle. I rent a car every month for business purposes. Cameron rented me a car that ended up breaking down on me. When I had called him about my concern that the "check engine" light was on, he stated I should be fine. That was not the case. Lauren came to the rescue and personally delivered me a different car. I had headed out of town in my own car of course and I had to work around Lauren delivering me the new car. It definitely was an inconvenience and put a damper on my entire weekend. The customer service at this location is very inconsistent. I prefer to use the Ventura location on Thompson Blvd! Tom and Delia are absolutely amazing!!! read more

If I could give a no star rating for this company I would. I just got off the phone with a rude, angry, unprofessional and inpatient woman in the damage recovery unit. She was difficult to deal with and was not capable of answering simple questions about a claim, which I wasn't even at fault. I had to do her job and provide pertinent collision information that was on the vehicle collision report, which I already gave to Enterprise when I returned the car. My wife and I have been long time customers, but no longer. You can count on us NEVER renting from your company again. The way I was treated was unprofessional and uncalled for. read more

I really enjoyed the economy car I rented! It was such a gas saver and I definitely saved money on my road trip. I was greeted nicely and I was even called the night I rented the car to see if everything was okay which was very thoughtful of them. When I returned the car, it only took about 3 minutes to leave so I have no complaints there! The only problem I'd say I ran into with them was when I picked up the car. I had a reservation already and had even went a few days before to make sure everything was good to go, but when I got there I had to wait about 30-45 minutes for them to go pick up the car. Not only did it make me catch traffic, but the tire light came on so I had to stop to check it out too. Anywho, good customer service and I'll definitely be going back! read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have done business with Enterprise for the last 25+ years and have always been impressed with their attention to make sure the customer is well cared for. Unfortunately this isn't the case with this branch. I was in an accident in the Los Angeles area and my insurance arranged for me to pick up a rental at the Los Angeles Vine street branch, which was great. When I came back into Oxnard, early Saturday morning, I immediately contacted the Oxnard branch to see if I could get a smaller vehicle that was comparable to my Audi, the representative Bailey said they didn't have any other car they could put me in but to call them Monday because they were expecting a lot of returns. I called Monday and was told again they didn't have any cars but she took my name and number down and would call me when they had something. Tuesday came and I waited until late afternoon to call, since I never recieveda call from Bailey,, again I was told no cars, this time from someone named Ryan. I asked him if they could reserve a car for me, he said they couldn't and I would have to go to the branch I originally rented from? I explained my vehicle was in an accident in LA and to expect me to go back to that branch is ridiculous, he then began to question me again why I rented the vehicle in LA all in a rude condescending tone. I asked if he could see if any of the other agencies had a car he said he couldn't tell. Absolutely No customer service skills or attempt to help me, amounts to laziness. I will be writing a letter to corporate in regards to this experience and hope that they can address this before they continue to loose more clients. Our car was stolen while staying overnight in Oxnard. Our insurance set us up with a rental from Enterprise on Sunday Morning. When we arrived the line was out the door and only 2 representatives were on duty to attend to all the customers. I have to say, we (and everybody else) received the most excellent customer service and our profound thanks go out especially to the Assistant Manager, Katelyn! Katelyn was highly professional, efficient and in our particular case, very compassionate on hearing about our situation. I believe Enterprise have an exemplar employee in Katelyn and I strongly recommend they do their utmost to keep her! Personally, I would promote ASAP, so she doesn't get away! Thank you again, Katelyn; for making our experience with Enterprise so stress free and providing such great customer service on what was obviously a very, very busy Sunday morning in Oxnard! read more

Last Thursday I rented a car from this location & along the way it started having mechanical issues as any car does from time to time. I stopped in to the nearest location & had trouble getting a vehicle since they said they had nothing available. I called over to the MY location & spoke with Kaite who with some trouble was able to convenience them to give me a different car. I was so thankful she worked it all out for me. All these guys at this location are great but especially a great big thanks to the guys I always deal with & regularly ask for ... Lawrence / Katie / Tami .... Don't ever rent from here, trust me! I had a reservation and they picked me up from work on my break. They offered me 2 filthy dirty cars which were not washed. We did a walk around and I asked if those were big scratches on the bumper, she said no it is mud. Her exact words. The carpets were filthy. Dusty dashboard. Dirty windows with hand prints all over from the inside. She offered me 2 that were equally filthy. I called corporate and they said they should never rent cars that have not been washed and instructed me to go to another Enterprise. I work at a hospital down the street and no one in my hospital will rent from them again. Filthy. They earned this review. Hands down. read more

Worst customer service ever! The gay guy with the blond hair who works there was SO rude! He didn't let me pick a vehicle he just picked a car that was dirty on the outside for me, when I asked if there were others available because that one was dirty he said no that was the only clean car they had. I said "but it's dirty" he said I mean if you want I can get someone to wash it for you but it can take up to 20 minutes. I didn't have time to wait because I was on my way to work. I mentioned that the last time the car was dirty they comped me on the gas at least to make up for the car being dirty. He didn't even want to do that and again said I could wait 20 min. (Which I couldn't because I had to be to work in 10min). Then when going over the daily insurance rates for the car I mentioned that last time it was around $19.00, not as much as he was saying ($25-$30 a day) I said are you sure? He said "yeah I'm not sure about that's all I'm showing" I again said are you sure? THEN he said "the only way u could get that price is if you were a AAA member or something.." I said "I am, that's probably what it was. That's why I got that price" he could have told us that from the start but he was acting dumb like he didn't know and didn't want to give it to us! He COULD HAVE said "these are the two rates for insurance on the car, and if you guys are AAA members you qualify for a lower rate of $19" but he didn't! He literally acted like it would take money away from him or something how hesitant he was to tell us that! If I wouldn't have kept asking he would have never told me! He was rude & very short with me. Even after I told him I was a AAA member his response was "ok go ahead and sign here, and enter your email address so we can email you the receipt" I thought, "ok so are u going to give me the AAA price? Or be a jerk & not?" Then I thought I'll check the receipt. Still never got a receipt! And I'm stuck with a dirty car! Wondering what he's gonna charge me.. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I have rented from Enterprise before with good service. This past time has been a nightmare. I reserved a car three different times. Each time it was a switch to a car they wanted to rent me, not one I wanted to rent. I talked to several different people, same problem. The last man I talked to said he would call and see if he could get an acceptable car and would call me back by 4 pm. At 4:30 I called, got a different person, but the same song and dance. I've been renting cars from enterprise for various years. Due to repairs to my current vehicle, I had to rent a car from enterprise. I figured no problem, they are always nice. This time, the experience was horrendous. The check-out process was simple and clean as usual, the guy got the paperwork, keys etc and we went to check out the car. He did a extreme simple check of the car, anything from the wheels up and just showed me the current gas in the tank. First bad thing about the visit is that being an older gent, I can't bend down and check underneath due to bad knees. Next, my check out receipt was never given to me, to make matters worst, no email was even asked from me to email aforementioned receipt. The outside of the car seemed clean and upkept. Inside was dirty and reeked of cigarette/cigar smoke, dried grass EVERYWHERE. Upon return, the individual who checked in the car accused me of damaging the car, spoke to her supervisor who attacked me, further accusing me of damaging the car stating "I remember checking that car in" and quoted me for damage when the car was idle for 95% of my rental. The manager didn't even want to listen to my story as he defended his crew saying the rude woman was his assistant manager and 'knew her stuff'. read more

Rented a car for a weekend ended up extending for a fifth day to be come back and receive bad customer service. I Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. being told they don't handle cash was quite rude let alone being told that they had to make sure I didn't steal the spear tire I found to be very offensive. Horrible experience! I was trying to rent a car from work and I was told that I could not rent a car unless I had proof of employment and a bill with my current utilities, if I wanted to pay with a debit card. I didn't have either of those things with me. I was told that I could rent a car with a credit card, so I went online to get one. I went to the store to pick up my car with my newly approved card. I was told that since it wasn't a physical card I could not use it. Alex, the manager, was not helpful. I explained my situation and her response was the policies are in place "because of fraud". My friend stepped in to rent the car for me! They then tried to give me a car that had been in an accident. While I was taking pictures of the damage, Lindsay, the sales associate, stepped on my sunglasses. I asked her not to step in my things and Lindsay said "maybe you should go to Hertz and I can give you the number". She mentioned that I had been "rude", but I had not been working with her. She probably suggested this knowing they had no cars.(I knew this too. I had tried to rent from them earlier in the day.) PS: I left without the car, that had been in the accident. Bryan was so helpful Getting me my car they were busy but I didn't mind they did everything they possibly could for me picking me up from my body shop and since they were so busy they even had someone drive me to a Ventura enterprise to get me a rental. Unfortunately my Chevy Malibu they gave me had a nail in the tire but everything turned out just fine all I had to do was call them up and they said I could go in to switch it out I was helped by a nice lady I can't remember her name but she had blue eyes. Pickpockets. My wife had a rental which was being paid for by our insurance company. Knowing that we had coverage, Enterprise still added optional 'damage waiver' protection to the agreement. When I called to have it removed, they required that the car be brought in to be checked for damage. How does this make any sense? If the car was damaged, my insurance would take of it and enterprise would be off the hook of having to use their own insurance. Clearly this requirement is meant to be an inconvenience lessening the likelihood of me actually getting the coverage removed. They are selling customers coverage that they KNOW they don't need. read more

This enterprise location is great. If something goes wrong and I cannot get what I ordered, they always find a way to make it right. We rent here a lot. They usually have the best prices or are very close. Since the service is so good, they don't have to be the lowest price every time. There are closer locations, but not better locations. read more

I will never go back to Enterprise. I initially reserved a car online and when I went to pick it up, they had zero cars available. I had to cancel my travel plans. Lakita Davis told me I should have called first. That was the extent of her help. Also, it is extremely difficult and time consuming to file a complaint about Enterprise. My emails went unanswered. I spoke with a manager. Thomas Nelson II was absolutely no help, he passed me along to Louis Olson who gave me a phone number to call. They don't care about their customers. I chose to write a review on Yelp so no one else makes the mistake I made going to this outfit. read more

The staff was nice & professional. The wait was longer than expected especially since I called two hours prior to confirm the appointment made over a week before. But, the car was clean and there was no upsale pressure to by the insurance. I would not feel ok with leaving my car there. The lot is wide open and unsecured. I went in this morning trying to rent a truck. I have used Enterprise many times in the past and have never been treated like this before. The man who took care of me was very disrespectful to the point of making me very upset. He continually asked me if I wanted to purchase insurance, after which I had already stated that I had sufficient Insurance coverage. At the end he told me that he is required to ask the customer if they want insurance until he gets 3 No's! what kind of aggressive pushy salespeople is this company hiring? I felt like he was literally harassing me and demanding that I get the insurance. I will never go there again, I canceled my contract and left feeling like my time was wasted on this character! I wish I would have read the previous review and I would have not wasted my time. Also, why is the contract being done in the parking lot? it should have been taken care of in the office. Reservations don't help! I waited 2 hours for a car not ready. They charged my account $300 when it was supposed to be $107. Told me they credited it back and they did not. I have had to call my bank and a separate company too that handles their insurance. I called Enterprise this morning and the girl could not help me told me she had 20 people in the office! Insurance goes from $8.99 online to over $30 once you get to their office if you want to cover other cars. You have to pay for your own flats, they won't come get you. Terrible organization in office. One lady rented a truck and when she put it in drive it went in reverse! They lost the keys for car I was "going" to rent and after so much crap I cancelled and made them take me home. So much patronizing to the customers also. A man was there and told me a woman was going through the same thing I was the day before. This is terrible customer service and I will not ever rent from Enterprise again. read more
