Really great experience with the team at Enterprise. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and helpful. The first car I got ended up having an electrical issue while I had it, which obviously wasn't their fault. The towing process was simple, and after that they really went out of their way to help me. They were very busy and low on inventory, but they managed to find another car and even held it for me so I had time to get there. Have been renting from this Enterprise location on Colorado Boulevard for two years, and the service has always been good. I stopped by at 12:30 on a Saturday, right before they closed, and was happy to find no line. Ryan at the counter was friendly and efficient, and Basin helped me find the right car. I needed a car on short notice on a Saturday, and they came through. No other car rental company had cars available. I entered their shop 2 minutes before closing, and they promptly served me and the other straggling customers they had at the time. It is also useful to have a rental location close to home, and not at the airport. I was a bit wary of Enterprise after my bad experience at their Duarte location - but the people in this location were very professional, honest and efficient. Rented car at airport. On way to Pasadena car sounded like it was having some mechanical issues. I stopped by the Colorado location to attempt to switch the vehicle. Spoke to associate who did not provide the customer service I always receive from enterprise. He advised they did not have a vehicle at location but location 30 minutes away had over 30 vehicles ( his words). I asked if he could call over and he assured me vehicles were available. Additionally I asked him to add an additional driver to my lease ( person was with me). He took her id. Supposedly called someone and told me it was taken care of. Here is where the "fun" begins. I drive over to other location in Longo only to be told there were no vehicles, and the additional driver was never added. Say what?!! Longo location does add my additional driver but no success with car swap. I end up making due with vehicle I had. At all these locations, it seemed as if my issue was a bother. Folks - A little customer service and honesty goes a long way. If someone had just said we have no cars but if something comes in we can give you a call that would have been helpful. ( I personally don't think that was too much too ask since the location was not busy at all). I do want to say the staff at the airport was fantastic! I only rent from enterprise and usually have a great experience. I chalk this up to poor training at these locations and hope it can be addressed locally. read more

I had an unexpected car rental and was not happy. There was not a car available that my insurance would cover. I was immediately told I could upgrade, but I would be responsible for the price differential. My second option was a compact car that was dented and scratched in more places that I can count and it smelled like stale air freshner. Unfortunately, while I was renting the car, I received a parking ticket in Old Town Pasadena. It was paid immediately and I informed Enterprise that it had been paid. Fast forward 24 hours - Enterprise charged me a $25 processing fee citing that this is referenced in their contract. Never during the contract administration process did anyone tell me about potential added charges other than if I returned the car with less gas in the tank than when I rented the car. I, of course, returned the car with a full tank of gas which was more than was in the tank when I picked it up. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have had a problem with them. Years ago I was in Pasadena on business for an extended period of time and rented a car for the duration of my trip. A week into my stay I was pulled over by the LAPD because the registration on the rental car had expired two months prior to my leasing the car. Thankfully, they did not ticket me. I immediately went to Enterprise to switch out the car. Not once did anyone apologize to me for this gross oversight on their part. Next time I rent a car for business or pleasure it will not be with Enterprise, but one of their competitors. read more

Worst rental experience of my life. Not only did they not have my reservation- they gave me an old, dirty, beat up car with a crack windshield. It was so bad- the key fob didn't work so I couldn't even get in to my car. When I called to let them know the Manager Martin was defensive, rude and very unprofessional. He argued and yelled at me. I had an outstanding experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car at this location, and I wanted to give a special shoutout to Brian for his excellent service! From the moment I walked in, Brian was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. He was the only personnel at service on the day after Thanksgiving. Maybe there were more but he was helping 2-3 customers at any given time when he was helping me. My car was rear-ended and was in a shop for repair. My insurance had set up rental for me at this location. However, the insurance agent handling my case forgot to add a clause that the rental fees should not be coming out of my own pocket. Brian made sure this liability issue was sorted out by personally getting on the phone with my insurance agent, discussing the contract loophole, and finalizing the revised contract without having me scrambling around to figure out exactly what happened or what to do on my own. Having my car rear-ended was bad enough and I couldn't appreciate more on Brian's efforts. I highly recommend this location, and I'm especially grateful to Brian for making my experience so smooth and stress-free. read more

I recently had an unexpected rental and was very happy with the experience and excellent staff at this location. The rental process was seemless, the pick up and drop off is an excellent amenity, but what made the difference was the attention and resolution of a small mistake on my part. I had left my garage's gate remote on the visor when I returned the vehicle. I didn't realize it fast enough to beat the next renter of my car. But the terrific manager and staff contacted the next renter and arranged to pick up the remote from them themselves! This was all completed quickly, seemlessly, and professionally. The Enterprise staff Brett was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their offers and rates. He was patient with my many questions and very forthcoming with information and advices. Brett walked me through the process of using my Costco membership to secure a great weekly rate discount by using Costco Travel's website to make the car rental reservation instead of directly via Enterprise. The main reason I walked-in at this store location instead of reserving online ahead of time was because by that time in the afternoon, all the online reservation dates started on the next day at the earliest, but Brett assured me he could override that and allow me to drive out of the lot on that same day. The compact Toyota Corolla hybrid I rented was clean and comfortable to drive for two weeks. Nice leather seats. Good gas mileage. No complaints whatsoever. The process of returning the car was quick and painless. This particular Enterprise location has a large lot and a good selection of cars. Note that there's another Enterprise car rental location nearby at 2336 Foothill Blvd, but don't be fooled--I actually went to that location first because of its higher review rating, but that location only has a tiny lot with barely any vehicles available for rental, with many of the cars in the lot actually belonging to the employees. What kind of car rental location has no compact sedan available? The best ability, after all, is availability. read more

Didn't think it could get worse but it did. Been picking up Corp rental at the location for the past year. The fleet vehicles are laughably poor quality. Most standard vehicles are over 3 years old and over 40k miles. Which is ancient by rental standards. I actually saw one w check engine light on The worst is they are NEVER on time for pick up no matter how early your call ahead to schedule. The last 3 times they have even consistently 45min -1 hr late. And good luck calling the local branch. They're always understaffed so you will ALWAYS be out on hold for 15-45 min. As I write this I'm being place on hold listening to the repeated never ending "here at enterprise, we treat our customer the way they should be treated ".... In summary here at enterprise they will keep on hold on the phone for 38 min (and counting) , be over 1 hr late on picking you up and only to put you in a 40k+ mile old car in abysmal condition. read more

I came to pick up a rental car at this location. My experience has been wonderful. While I was waiting for my rental to be cleaned I watched their assistant brand manager Brian Dauven handle a wide variety of customers and he was incredibly professional, thoughtful and kind to every customer. Brandon at the Colorado blvd location is terrible. My mom came from Eugene to come see me and she picked up a rental back in Eugene but when she got here a bunch of lights started to come on. Brandon told her to take it to Firestone tire shop. why is the customer deal with car maintenance on their vacation. then he wanted to give her a compact car. they have to travel back home with luggage they can't do a compact car. He said he cant do anything for her then. terrible customer service you could have at least helped her find another location and maybe get off your chair you bumb and help the customers. I've used this location twice in the last 2.5 years due to my car being repaired at a local body shop. The company shuttle picked me up in a timely manner, the driver was polite and drive accordingly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only issue with this place is that the staff never seems to know what car is available or taken. I waited about 45 minutes while they had to check the status on about 5-6 different cars because they didn't know what was taken or not. I think they need to improve their organizational skills a little, but overall a decent place to get a rental car. read more

Horrible service Me and my daughter names are spelled similar 1 letter off, so when she rented car with insurance claim they used my name she noticed that it said my name so she asked them to correct it so when I travel up north on my business trips every 2 weeks and patronise the enterprise rental car locations that have excellent service I would not have a problem. Good: The vehicles are pretty new, clean, and all, according to the person checking me in, have Bluetooth. The one I rented had the backup camera and screen. They are open on Sunday in the morning till noon. Bad: The "you have to provide a 2nd phone number" rule is stupid. The guy checking me was trying to be a dick about it. You have my cell phone. You have my credit card. You have a $200 deposit plus my rental fees. Do you have a huge issue of people stealing your cars? Why treat all your customers like criminals? The cars fuel level was 1/2 a tank. This is a cheap way for the car rental place to get free gas from its customers because it's difficult to fill a tank at the exact level. If the refueled their cars before renting, then every customer would be able to return without this silliness. They pressure customers to give them a good review on checkout. read more

The other employees here are nice, but wasn't very helpful when I called. Seeing the other reviews, it seems like people who came here from getting their car repaired (like me) seemed to have a better experience than those just coming to rent a car.
