Terrible experience. They asked me to pick up my rental 2 hours early, then made me wait and gave me a damaged car. After returning it for a swap, I was downgraded to a different vehicle. When I returned the car on time (with photo proof and proper fuel), they later tried to charge me for gas and for returning it late. There was a message a previous renter had put on there that read "Say cock loudly and the iPhone will hook up." I'm a 65 year old grandmother. I don't appreciate such things. In fact, I was offended. However, after talking with BJ Leach I was given a manager's name on the back of a card. Jared. I call the number and am told Jared went on vacation yesterday. I go back to the rental store and confront Ashton about the ordeal and that I want to speak to a regional manager. I made a same day reservation. Went to pick up my car. However they had none. There 1-(800) number who setup reservations is overseas. Making them hard to understand and clearly can receive your reservation information. Because they didn't have my correct number. So they didn't call to let me know they had no car. If you are a driver that needs hand controls -go somewhere else. The ADA requires reasonable accommodations. that means the accommodations provided have to make sense. I booked a vehicle from Thursday to Tuesday. I was told that I could Be guaranteed a vehicle for three business days. meaning they could not guarantee me a vehicle until Monday then he said maybe Tuesday. I told him that wasn't a reasonable accommodation which he replied I'll call my manager. They Called Back saying they could have one on Thursday it might not be till Tuesday. Tuesday is when I need to return the vehicle. I I understand less than 24 hours might not be reasonable for hand controls but expecting a person to wait almost an entire week While the vehicle in the shop is unreasonable. Expecting a person to maybe get a vehicle one day and maybe not get a vehicle to the end of their request is unreasonable. I called Hertz and had one guaranteed in 24 hours. read more

I've rented cars from Enterprise and Hertz and I would say go to Hertz. If you go to Enterprise they will tell you anything to get you in a car, lying and say the gas deposit is a security deposit therefore keeping it and not giving the deposit back. Well I've never paid a security deposit for renting a car because I'm not a risk. Their corporate office found it strange and called it a petrol deposit and didn't know why the overly fast talking manager Mandy told mistruths to back up lying about it. Enterprise is a bunch of crooked snake oil salesmen but aren't selling anything. Hertz never lied and always showed professionalism and tact. My wife has been renting a car since her car is being repaired from a woman who hit my wife's car. Yesterday the rental car she was driving was acting very strange. I called Enterprise and it was around 5:30 PM to let them know my wife was leaving the car at her work parking lot and was too scared to drive it. The manager Luis called me back and said he would be happy to exchange the car the next morning for her. Ben showed up with the car and we are happy campers. Thank you again for great service at Enterprise. My wife dropped the rental yesterday and Ben was awesome. Dropped my car off at the shop for a repair, and Andy from Enterprise quickly showed up to take me down the street and set me up with a vehicle. This was the week before Christmas, and it was total chaos with far more people trying to rent than cars were available! He clued me in that it was a very busy time. I ended up waiting for a bit, but since I wasn't kept in the dark about the pandemonium, it wasn't so bad. Soon, they had a really nice car ready for me and I was on my way. I was sad to have to return the car, since it was a lot nicer than my own, but the process was very quick and easy. I will definitely consider renting from them again if the need arises. read more

Super grateful I jumped in my car and got there at 612!! The doors locked, his keys are in the door and his lunch is on the counter. I knocked. Nothing. Waited. Knocked. At 638 he comes to the door and says sorry the keys are locked up. I told him I was there before 615. I completely understand they close at 6 but the guy offered to stay and didn't end up helping me completely wasting my time. And why would they let you pick 6 pm if they are closed?! I generally always use Enterprise when I rent a car, or in this particular case, a van. They rented me a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan with 10,000 miles. Ran great (as expected) and I enjoyed the rear view camera when backing up. Nice interior. Enjoyable car to drive. Had room for the wheelchair I needed to carry to transport my dad in. I was in a big hurry when I rented it, showed up half an hour early, and they were accommodating. The people at this "store" were fantastic! Very friendly and fast. I've never dealt with more unreasonable managers in my life. Especially after renting a car for over a month, giving them well over 2 grand. You would think they would honor a good customer and show some flexibility. But no, the uptight manager wouldn't take my credit card with no chip or cash. Those were the two option I had on me to pay the balance due, and for one additional day. We were finally picking up our car from being in the shop the next day so all I needed was one more day. She wanted the car back now! Excuse me what am I suppose to drive? And I've been renting this same car for a month?? How about I run home and get a card with a chip?? Her and answer was "no we gave you the options?" Which was a what?? Give the car back now! They wanted to take the car and dump us off somewhere all because I didn't have the right method of payment. Actually I did have the right method but it had my husbands name on it. That wasn't good enough either. As this was all taking place my husband was waiting in the car anxious because he was going to be late for a 4pm appointment. After getting no where with the little store manager the reginal manager followed me outside demanding the car back. We could not be late for the appointment so you can guess what happened next. Bye Felicia we'll see ya tomorrow. Oh no, we can never rent from enterprise again. Dont do us any favors! With the regional manger their he could've made some exceptions and show some appreciation for a good customer. It saddens me that I will no longer use Enterprise for my corporate account due to one incident with their own employee. I park in the lot doing business (unrelated to Enterprise) and a woman pulls up next to me and parks. She proceeds to quickly open up the driver's door and hits the sh&$! out of the passenger's side of my vehicle...she then ignores the entire thing and me who is seated in the driver's seat. I get out of my vehicle and walk around to inspect. She looks right at me and says absolutely NOTHING. No apology, no inspection, NOTHING! She just looks at her customer and asks if he wants to pay his bill with his card that's on file. The customer looks at me in disbelief that this large African-American woman has yet to apologize or say anything. Funny thing was she then walks back inside the business and the customer tells me that he will never rent from them either due to the unprofessionalism by this one individual. This review is in regards to Enterprise located at 15011 Meridian in Puyallup Wa. Mid to late Feb 2018. My personal vehicle was going for repairs. I needed a rental to get me from Puyallup to Seattle everyday but wasn't sure how long I would need it, so I decided to go on the safe side and rent it for a week Monday morning-Friday morning. I made an on line reservation which was easy. I arrived at the store Monday morning and was assisted by Katelan (sp?). She was very kind and appeared to have everything in order. HOWEVER, I do not hold a major credit card. In order to access a vehicle I would need to provide proof of employment, proof of residence and three personal references (people and phone numbers). I'm of the old school and don't readily carry most of this information with me in my smart phone (I've never needed too). I felt this is information I could have gained from the website when I made the reservation. Thank goodness for my son. He drove me back home where I recovered the needed information and then back to Enterprise. Once the information was accepted, everything was smooth sailing from there. Katelan was great (of course she tried to put me in a bigger car twice, that's her job, but I didn't need it). She inspected the car (Chevy Spark, great car BTW) with me, told me not to smoke or rob any banks (that ruined my plans for that afternoon) and sent me on my way! A few days later, after speaking to my mechanic, I would need to keep the rental a couple more days. Sorry, I'm not sure who I spoke with when I called but it was extremely positive "No problem Sir, we'll just charge it to your card (which I expected). THAT was easier than I thought it would be. Finally came Monday morning to return the rental. It was as though Dwight was waiting for me. "Returning a vehicle Sir?" as he took the keys from me. He inspected the car, everything was fine and I was on my way home in less than 10 minutes. Other than the initial reception, this was truly a great experience for someone whose never rented a car before. If needed, I will be going back. Thank you Enterprise! read more

I can't say enough about the staff and service at this location! We had a "series of unfortunate events", which involved significant damage to both of our vehicles in a one month span. Our insurance did not cover rental cars for either wreck (at fault, and uninsured motorist), so we were out of pocket on both rentals for a total of 7 weeks. They went out of their way to find a vehicle for us on a Saturday afternoon, and assist us with the rental extensions etc. The assistant manager (who's card I've misplaced) and Evan(?) were the ones we interacted with the most, but all were professional and cordial, and really kind during a challenging time! read more

Late August of 2020, my vehicle sustained damage due to a minor collision. The at fault person's insurance covered for the damage and their policy also included a rental car while my car was in the shop. I am glad the local collision center works closely with the South Hill Enterprise in Puyallup WA because that's where Asst. Deshawn came right over to my location and brought me a rental. It was a newer nice looking Toyota sedan. Deshawn was very professional and polite and he showed empathy towards my situation. His commitment and dedication to customer service lead him to asking about my family. He realized the small sedan wouldn't suit the size of my family. He immediately took initiative and with the approval of the branch manager Darrell Wilson, immediately got the insurance company on the phone and got them to approve a larger vehicle that would fit my family. It takes several great traits to provide this level of customer service, and this location has employees who possess these traits. Deshawn and Darrell will be the reason I will return to this location for my future car rental needs as well as the reason I will recommend them to my family and friends. read more

Absolutely LOVE them. I was hit in my personal car in 2013 and again in 2016, both times my car was totaled and I needed a rental. Both times I needed it longer than insurance would cover. Enterprise was fantastic about dealing with the insurance companies, then extending the rental time for me, even giving me weekend special rates when I had the car over weekends they offered promotions. Everything was always quick and easy, they're up front about costs and answered all my questions, made sure I was comfortable in the car and knew how everything worked before I drove off, I was able to add days over the phone (until I'd had it so long I needed to quick go in and redo the paperwork - but still very easy!). Luis and Matt and Eric and Will, darn I wish I caught the other names - they are fantastic. Oh and when I finally replaced my car, I could drop off the rental at another Enterprise and they were equally lovely. For regular rentals there are no mileage limits! I love Enterprise. I will never rent from anyone else. read more

I rented a car from this location while my car was in the shop for repairs. I have a service contract that provided a certain amount for the rental car. They also took a $100 deposit from me to cover the taxes that my service contract wouldn't cover and I would be refunded the remaining $'s. On Friday, I contacted them to find out how I was to return the car on Sunday if they were closed as my allowed amount of coverage would end. The employee told me I could leave the car in the parking lot and keys in the drop box. However, he told me I would be within my allowed amount if I returned it on Monday. I returned the car on Monday as I was told I could and have been waiting form my deposit to be refunded. I was just informed that the service contract company did not cover through the Monday, therefore I was not due a refund. There conveniently are no notes in the system regarding my discussions with the employee, therefore they will not refund me. And of course the person I dealt with is no longer working at their store. Not willing to work with me and give me the $ I was expecting per conversations with their employee. Very unprofessional. Will not use Enterprise again. read more
