This continued delay is disappointing and suggests that customer feedback may not be a priority for your business. When a company states that it values its customers but does not follow through with timely communication, it reflects poorly on its commitment to service. Bait & Switch here.... you've been warned! Made a reservation for a one-way pickup truck rental to move furniture to my sisters house. While she only needed it for a day, the cost was $350. While that's a lot, It was also one-way so we sucked it up and made the reservation for the same day. When we arrived, we were told that no trucks of that size (tacoma or similar) were available, the only truck available was a "premium" truck and it was over $200 more so it was going to be over $550. I felt like it was bait and switch, and encouraged them to honor the rate and simply provide whatever truck they had. They would not and also the manager was "not available" to discuss. No way I was paying that on principle alone, left my name and number and encouraged the manager to call me. Never did get a call and I won't be back! *** If I could take away the one star I would. The complaint is not againt representatives who work in the store. I want to make it clear first, that my complaint is towards the rental cars on the lot and the management who is in charge of that. The two stars is for the representative who did their job, they presented themselves well however it is not their fault for not having any other vehicles available beside a mini van or the current rental I have. The factors are that I did go into the shop about 30mins before they closed. However, my point is that I was provided a small 4 door mirage as my rental. The musk stunk inside, horrible odor that's been sunk into the cloth of the seats, there was a large burn or hole on the driver floor mat, or just from overuse of someone sitting in the car rubbing their foot on it all day, hardly any power steering, steering wheels would jingle at every bump on the road, the tires felt like they were going to pop any minute and the exhaust was so loud everytime I stepped on that gas pedal, it felt like it was going to break down any minute. There's a light on the dashboard with a mechanic tool icon. This is not safe to rent out to a customer!!! As I was in need of the rental because my car was in the shop nearby, I went back to Enterprise the same evening right before they closed to complain about the car not being in a condition that should be on a rental lot; I was given the option to pick their other vehicle which was a mini van but I would have to pay an upgrade!! Ridiculous!!! I called the next day and the representative said they would switch out the vehicle but my point is, why is this car even on the lot? read more

This is more of a warning. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. You would think it's quick and easy, because the staff will rush to have you sign until you get charged for things you supposedly discussed but were duped to signing. I was charged $347 for a one day trip with my Nissan Sentra rental. I decided to call customer service on my way to my destination to ask if I was going to get charged for returning my rental past 04:30pm. The woman on the supposedly recorded call said that I won't be charged, so I decided I'd move my boxes to my apartment before returning the car instead of heading straight to the airport where my other car was and rental return was. I could have just went straight to my car in the airport and be able to return the rental at 04:30pm but I was told that there won't be any charge, so I went straight my apartment to unload my boxes before returning believing that I won't be charged, because the woman on the phone clearly said I won't be charged. I was shocked when I got the $120 charge for returning the car 2 hours past 04:30pm. I contacted customer service and no one was taking responsibility or accountability and told me that, that was the agreement. That wasn't what the woman on the phone told me... Speaking of, the guy from this Sacramento location never even mentioned these charges and so called agreement. I went over there, picked up my car and he said "you agree to everything we've discussed, sign here." We NEVER discussed the $60 per hour charge if I returned the car past 04:30pm. Customer Service wasn't really service on the phone or the chat. I was told to hold on, because they were "contacting this location" but they left the chat idle and I had to disconnect and reconnect. The other chat kept asking "Do you have any more questions" like they really resolved my issue. Didn't get my money back and received a lot of rude, sketchy and dishonest "customer service" staff. It's day 3, so it does not look like I will get my money back. Money can be earned, but the whole time my concern was dismissed, ignored and treated while trying to explain that I never agreed or was aware AT ALL. The way I was treated like a scammer when I was the one who got scammed. The way I was given one wrong information after another, tricked into signing that "I agree to EVERYTHING" without knowing everything that is at least essential, like getting charged $60 per hour after my return schedule.. I was given the run around and oki dokied.. The only thing that does not cost much in this place is the staff's integrity and the customer service's common semse, $60/hour. Enjoy :) read more

I was told it was no problem and that I should arrive at the location I wanted to return the vehicle and I would not be charged , and the manager at the location I rented from would call me. There business practice is lies and deceit anger and antagonizing as Sarah was rude disrespectful and demeaning for no reason. There very unprofessional and if I was explained that I was allowed to do something which would save me time I expect for it to be handled appropriately for example explain why you rather me drop the vehicle off at the Roseville location instead of forcing a charge on me without explanation. This is the only Enterprise I will ever use! BRENDAN, AUSTIN, and ZAK ROCK!!! I just rented a car from this location in July for 2 weeks of competitive soccer travel! They were all 100% on getting my family and I in the right vehicle to fit our travel needs! The other thing I really like about this office and the 3 of them, is they are very professional, efficient and have fun with the customers! The office had such a professional but fun vide in it which puts anyone in a great mode. Most people renting vehicles is because they have been in an auto accident, or their vehicle is broken down. Then you have people renting for business or vacation. Possibly the worst rental car experience I've ever had. I can't believe the SUV that was given to me, was even on their fleet. The vehicle had dings, dents, tears in the carpet and worst of all smelled like a pack of cigarettes. The smell was so bad when we were done for the day, we smelled like we came from a casino. The brakes were shot, the power steering was gone and the alignment was terrible. I reserved the vehicle for two days and returned it after one day of use. Zero sympathy from the staff and no options to make it right. The gentleman responsible for giving me this vehicle and thinking it was up to enterprise's standards should be terminated. This is the only car rental place that requires a utility bill in your name to rent a car. So for people that don't have a utility bill in your name you won't be able to rent here. I provided two credit cards, my debit card, and license and she still refused to rent me a car. I told her it would be helpful if they told people that they were required to have a utility bill. She got snippy with me and completely ignored me, tossed my cards back at me and said there were people in line behind me. I recently had some issues with my 04 VW Touareg starting and I had to take it in to Niello to get serviced. They unexpectedly told me they would need it over the weekend and I had a few appointments during that time so I needed a rental asap. I booked online through Enterprise's website, their rates are awesome! Very competitive, I selected a full size sedan similar to Hyundai Elantra for around $20/day. I needed it for 2 days, so the total was $46 which I thought was great. When I arrived, there were two girls working behind the desk and a customer in front of me. The phones were ringing like crazy but they were managing to take care of everyone seamlessly. I worked with Danielle and she had EXCELLENT customer service. I had a doctor's appointment I needed to get to asap, and she said they had a car they were detailing now and it would be ready soon. I let her know I needed to leave in about 10 mins and asked if that would be okay, she said yes. She ended up giving me a mid size SUV instead of the sedan since that was currently available and she didn't want me to be late to my appointment. I got a Nissan Pathfinder for the cost of the sedan, and I LOVED that car! It had every amenity you could ask for, very spacious and I loved that it was ready for me as soon as I came out of the bathroom. Danielle went over the car with me and I signed off on it and was on my way. She could not have been nicer, I wish more businesses would have such good employees that put customers first. She truly cared about my time, got me in and out in under 10 mins and I got a better car than I reserved. This type of flexibility and compassion for her customers is so hard to come by these days and I was so impressed with Danielle. Thank you so much, I will definitely only be renting my cars from this location of Enterprise from now on. My car ended up being in the shop a few days later than expected, so I kept the car an additional day. I called to ask if I needed to come back into the store to sign anything and was told that the additional day would come out of my $200 deposit and I didn't even need to call them or come in which was amazing! I dropped the car off earlier today and I believe the manager was there as well as Danielle. They were both incredibly nice and courteous and really cared about whether I had a good experience renting with them and if I was fully satisfied. I love this Enterprise Office! The staff is always helpful and quick to assist! They are walking distance from my home, yet they are always willing to pick-up/drop me home when I ask. I have rented from here about 10 times for work and most of the time they seem very unorganized. The staff is very friendly but whoever is managing is doing a poor job. They are always short cars and driving you to another location, late to pick up customers. It is always something with this location.
