I reserved a car at 12:30 got there at 12:20 to check in. Had family in other car waiting until 1:10 to finally get keys. Car reeked of ganja. Thought to myself, I'll roll down windows and blast uncirculated A/C like I did when I was in high school. It didn't work after 20 mins blasting on freeway. Must've had a grow-op in the engine compartment idk... After I called the manager gave me a half day off price and said he doesn't have any other replacements. I offered to just exchange and even fill gas tank up before exchanging at another location. He said he can't book other cars other locations (how do you not have a system like this). I had to do the legwork of calling other enterprises along my route to see exchange possibilities. After 45 mins of calling around I finally found a solution. The sister shop in Elk Grove was almost happy to tell me they had no other options available. Responded back so quick when I told them my complain. Had my wife call to mock a new booking at the Elk Grove location with the same car requirements...wow magically they had one for her. Crooked ass shit. To the manager who helped me in person. My insurance company arranged a rental through Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Power and Road while my car is being repaired after a fender bender. After dropping off my car at the nearby collision center, I headed over to this location. To my surprise, there was only one person working the front desk, with a line of more than eight customers and several others already waiting for their vehicles. The employee at the counter was incredibly fast, professional, and friendly, but he was clearly understaffed and doing the work of multiple people. There was another employee walking in and out with an iPad who seemed unsure of what to do and frequently had to be directed by the front desk attendant. Vehicle turnaround was extremely slow, making the entire process lengthy and frustrating. This is not a reflection of the employee who helped everyone so efficiently--he did an excellent job under difficult circumstances. The issue is with management not providing enough staff to support the demand at this location. Unfortunately, after waiting 40 minutes, I had to leave because I simply couldn't wait any longer. Despite having a reservation, I had to wait over an hour in the dismal waiting area just to get a crappy car that was not the level that was reserved. They say they'll call when something comes available, but they do not. When we arrived at Enterprise he waited on me efficiently and went above and beyond to help me get a car to replace my Mercedes. Had to rent a car due to my car being totaled in an accident. First, made an appointment and sat for an hour 15 mins before they got to me. Then when I finally rented a car, the car engine light came on within a week. So, i brought car back and spent another hour switching to another car unexpectedly. On top of that the 2nd car ended up needing a battery for the remote keyless entry fob. I had to stop again to have them replace the battery. Another 30 minutes to replace the battery on the key fob. At this point i had reached 30 days and was asked to come in to reset the rental agreement. Where i was asked if i could take their car for an oil change on my time. This was a car they just rented to me! I told them i don't have time to maintain their rental, then they set an appointment for me to pick up another 3rd car, i again made it early to my appointment time. This time not only did i wait 20-30 minutes before getting assisted but then was told that car didn't arrive earlier that day. So, I would need to come back yet again to swap out cars. This time i decided to call ahead to be sure the car is ready. They said they have a car but they would need time to prepare/clean the car for me. So, they would call me back. I am hoping i won't need to rent a car again but if i do i may be looking elsewhere. The agents inside are nice enough, but a bit disorganized and frankly they should have either discounted my rental which was over $2,300. or provided me an upgrade for all my trouble and time. But no one offered me either. A bit discouraging at this point. read more

Wonderful customer services always from this team. Shoutout to AJ & the lovely lady who is always so friendly (I forgot her name but I definitely remember her face she's with the braids :D). AJ took care of us 3 times renting from this location and the lovely lady with our 4th one, in all the times they provided us exactly what we needed. Although waiting times can be difficult at times but they never made it hard for us (even everyone else I believe) in asking what we should provide them as far as payments. Enterprise has made it so easier. I advice everyone if you know you'll be needing to rent a car, I recommend Enterprise. Always book a week ahead or days ahead if you are looking for something in specific and Always Go Super Early in the morning as soon as they open to get the car you need and avoid longer waiting times if waiting is needed. Come with utility bills, insurance policy or any extra paperwork that has your current address and ofc your DL. Sometimes they ask for it and sometimes they don't so always come prepared because even if they have your information already in the system, they will ask for paperworks anyway just to confirm. I did not know that they give 30mins leeway when late for returning rental, so that was great to keep in mind. They also have a lost/found bin with items that was forgotten in rental cars, ask them if you think you are missing something. Lastly and most importantly, always takes pictures before leaving the parking lot, ask them if you should be aware of anything about the car and even after you returned the car, take pictures. 1 star is being generous, there is no option for zero or negative stars. I had a 8am reservation and after waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes the rental agent gathered the necessary information for the rental and then told me afterwards that they didn't even have a rental available! I explained to them I had a reservation and even called the day prior to confirm my reservation and asked approximately how long the wait was before a rental would be available and was told "about an hour" 30 minutes later I got back in line and after a 25 minute wait I asked for the status of the rental and was told they still had no vehicles (while I was waiting in the lobby every single customer was told the exact same thing) there were at least 3 people who used a car service (Uber/Lyft) to get dropped off for reservations that had to arrange for another ride back home or to another rental car location at their expense because there were NO RENTALS AVAILABLE!! I asked for an updated ETA of when a rental would be available and was told very nonchalantly "around" 11am. I asked why didn't they contact me if they didn't have a rental available ? I had a reservation and even confirmed the day prior that I'd be there at 8am for pick up. I was told that the reason why they didn't have rentals is because the cars that they have rented out, customers were just returning the vehicles at random locations (the entire fleet!???) I'm sure that happens but they had absolutely NO VEHICLES first thing in the morning. They made no attempt to reach out to anyone to prevent them from making the trip there just to wait in line anywhere from 20-30 minutes, take all their personal info only to be told they didn't have any available rentals. These are all customers with reservations, no walk ins. I was told they were trying to get ahead of the situation (whatever that's suppose to mean) they open at 7:30am, they could have been proactive and contacted customers to avoid the frustration. I was told none of the surrounding locations had available cars also. I asked that they contact a further location as I needed a rental considering I made the reservation a few weeks back. They finally found a location over an hour away. Both men working at the counter appeared to be completely detached, unfazed and seemed as if they didn't care about the inconvenience this has caused. This created an over 4 hour delay on my trip which caused me to miss a reservation later that day. I'm still confused as to how a rental car place can have no vehicles at 8am !!! The employees could start with showing empathy, it seemed like they are use to dealing with this situation regularly and are unfazed on how this impacts the customers. The "customer service" very poor. They didn't apologize or even appear to be apologetic. Do not "rent" from this location ever!!! It will be a COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR TIME!!!!!! read more

My daughter was rear ended. Car is in the shop. Obviously, my policy is in my name with her as an additional driver. This location refused to add her as an additional driver. Either the car had to be in my name or hers. My wife can drive it if it's under my name. If it's under my daughter's, only she can drive. He said it's enterprise policy, but it's an absurd policy. When we switched it to her name, he downgraded the car to the lowest possible version. Then he made me call my insurance to have them validate that the coverage does extend to other listed drivers. I picked up a 4-door sedan. I had an appointment, and everything went fine. My insurance covered this. The service at this location is average. I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to get the car ready for me. I had asked about the insurance they have to cover the deductible in case of any problems. I was told they would let me know about that when I was picking up the car. Which he did, and it is $30.00 a day to cover the $1000.00 deductible. You might think that's not bad, you're getting a rental car for $30.00 a day. No, my insurance covers me for up to a million dollars in liability, plus the cost of my own vehicle and medical bills. And it cost me about $4.50 a day. This is a company that knows you're getting something at no cost, so they can charge you more for something and get away with it. They are charging way too much for the insurance. read more

DO NOT USE POWER INN LOCATION My Kia Dealership spoke to this location around 3:30 9/10 and confirmed they had a small car available for me to rent. Kia said that Enterprise was going to call me by 4:30 to let me know and forwarded the address and phone# meanwhile. I called Enterprise at 4:30 since I had not received a call and said I was going to head over, Jose said that they didn't have a car ready for me and had no way of knowing if they would. He said that they might have to give me a larger car and I would have to pay out of pocket for the difference since Kia only covered a small car. I explained I needed a small car and didn't want to incur any fees since Kia had reserved and confirmed a small car was available. Jose said to hurry over and they should have a small car by the time I got there. I rushed over and when I got to Enterprise they said that they didn't have any small cars available and that I could have a minivan. I explained that I need a small car and asked if I could take the minivan today, and then exchange it tomorrow for a small car. Jose came over and said NO, he said they don't have any small cars. I said, there are 4 small cars in your parking lot right now, he insisted they were all reserved. When I asked how I go about reserving a small car, he said I couldn't since I wasn't a customer. At this point I was shocked at not only how they kept lying, but how unprofessional his aggressive tone was. He kept talking over me and I literally had to put my hand up to have him stop talking. I said he may not view me as his customer, but Kia's Corporate account IS his customer and they had reserved a small car for me. He said NO, that it didn't matter if I come in tomorrow or the next day, he would never let me rent anything other than a minivan. Clearly, I did not end up renting from here. I reached out to Kia 9/11 morning and explained what had happened. Kia was shocked and said they were sorry I had to deal with Enterprise and would call to see why this had happened. Shortly after, Kia called me back and said that when they spoke to the Power Inn location nothing they said made any sense. Kia ended up using a different location on Arden Way which was a million times better experience. read more

Never !! Like other customers, I would put a zero if it allowed, but it doesn't allow made arrangements a week ago to get my bumper repaired from a car repair. They picked me up enterprise pick me up took me to their facility. Got there a little before 10 AM. It wasn't until almost one that my car was provided for me. They kept telling me your car isn't here. I need to wash the car and then they were condescending, patronizing me by calling me, boss I am contacting corporate CEO. This should never happen. I had to miss work and I sat hostage in their office. They couldn't take me home, They couldn't take me to work. This is unacceptable for a service that we're paying into. On top of that I had to go get gas so a whole morning wasted into the afternoon and I had made these arrangements a week ago.. I'm reading the replies from whoever it is from enterprise. I wish I could give zero stars. I was here to pick up a vehicle through my insurance. They said they had no sedans available, but would charge me the difference for a bigger car that they did have. I explained that enterprise had upgraded me at no additional cost when a situation like this came up before, to no avail. After waiting nearly 2 hours, they said it was basically my fault because I picked a $35/day rental reimbursement in my insurance policy. Last I checked, it's not my fault they don't have the vehicle I need, nor should I be charged extra for one or judged for what I have in my insurance policy. Very unprofessional. I had an appointment booked today to pick up my rental. This appointment was set over a month ago by my insurance company and I called to verify both a month ago and again this morning prior to coming in. This morning on the phone I was told they are aware of my reservation and that they would be waiting for me. When I arrived I was told they have no cars, they are not sure what cars will be returned and when. I was also told I may have to wait all day for a car to be returned! I asked if they could take me to my house to wait for a car all day and I was told I live 1 mile over their 5 mile limit. So now there's no car for me, I am 1 mile over the pickup zone and am stuck without any care or help from the Enterprise staff. The manager said he can't allow his staff to drive 6 miles to drop a customer, only 5 miles. I over heard 3 other customers being told the same thing "that enterprise was not aware of their scheduled reservation and that they would have to wait, possibly until 3 pm." It is now 10 am and all of us had appointments already scheduled. This place is a bad joke. The staff are useless and manager doesn't have a clue what's he's doing either. Now I'm stuck without a car and no idea when they will have one for me. So much for customer service. Don't visit this horrible place of business! They said they have other sedan that was first come first serve and we asked what sedans did they had. They checked the system again and now they don't have no sedans at all. I had a great experience when getting my rental. Insurance made it easy and I set up everything over the Enterprise website. I do recommend that you schedule a pick up date and time. When I arrived it was a breeze. In and out with in 15 minutes. I worked with Izzy, he was great. During drop off it was a different team but also done with in 10 minutes. Great customer service. The Power Inn facility offered me a jeep that was wet and dirty. Bugs on windshield dirt and smug marks on exterior body and wheels. Looked like the car was ringed off after it came in. I complained about dirty jeep and was told that they were short of detailing staff. They offered to give another vehicle if I was willing to wait until another vehicle came in. they couldn't say how long the wait could be so I took the jeep. I had the car 2 days but was charged for 3 days. I was told that they charge 1st day as a full day. read more
