I went with my Mother in Law here to pick up a car. It's kind of sketchy here. It's in the ghetto and I am glad I went with her to get it. My wife's sister had set this up and she was here to. There was one other person waiting for a car so they made us wait a bit. There was no one else around. They told us the car was just in and was being washed. About 10 minutes went by and the guy said the car was ready. Of course no insurance covers the entire car since the prices have gone up so the guy explained that she had to pay a few bucks extra each day. The car was fine and in good shape. Run from this place. I've previously had good experiences at Enterprise car rentals, but this was just awful. I booked a mid-sized SUV from them. Called the morning of my reservation to double check their location, and they told me that they didn't have any mid-sized SUVs available. Had I shown up I would have gone with a different car. So I told them I'd wait until one was available. I waited a few days, called back, they said one was available for me. I left immediately, showed up 20 minutes later, and when I shoed up they said there wasn't one. So I ended up with a full sized SUV. Two days later they called me and told me I had to bring in my car because they needed to check the tires. I asked them why they didn't bother to check the tires prior, and they made up some BS about how they did, but they needed to check.. again??? So, I show up to have them check the tires. They say "okay tires look good you're free to go". I ask them if they have any mid-sized SUVs I could take. They say they do. One of them reeked of smoke, and the other one had zero amenities (no CarPlay, no navigation, no sunglasses holder...etc), so I told them I'll stay with the full-sized. They said "oh it didn't pass tire inspection". YOU LITERALLY TOLD ME IT JUST PASSED TIRE INSPECTION AND I'M FREE TO GO WTF. So I took the mid sized suv, and found the alignment was off, and it rattled above 60mph. Ugh. Avoid this place like the plague. Never again. read more

I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience with Enterprise. The car I was given had a bad tire that blew out while I had my children in the car. I was stranded on the side of the road for hours, and Enterprise never sent help -- I had to call my own AAA to assist me. Since then, I've reached out multiple times to get this resolved. It has now been over a month, and I still have not been contacted by a manager despite repeated requests. The lack of communication and accountability is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Terrible Experience - Stranded with Family for Hours I rented a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car on June 15, 2025, for a family road trip. During the trip, we got a flat tire and were stranded in an unfamiliar city for over 12 hours. Our ride service canceled, and we couldn't get to a tire shop because Enterprise didn't assist with a timely tow or alternative arrangements. We reserved another car at a nearby Enterprise location, but when we arrived--exhausted, with our 4-month-old baby--there were no cars available, despite the confirmed reservation. We spent hours stuck on the side of the road with no help or compassion from Enterprise. This experience caused major stress, disrupted our trip, and left us feeling abandoned. I will not be renting from Enterprise again, and I hope others think twice before trusting them with important travel plans. And yes, I was a platinum member. read more

I renting a car for almost 2 months and they allowed me to re-contract with a second driver who did not have her ID and only had a copy. I came up here and had to rent a vehicle again and I only had a copy of my ID instead of them, accommodating me. The same day I dropped off the rental car they said I had to go way back to Rancho Cordova cause I forgot my Id but I had a copy This was so unprofessional and I will never recommend any services at this rent a car a this place nor will I recommend anyone again it takes absolutely too long and when you're a loyal customer, you should be accommodated. This is so disappointing. I had to call my kids job even after I waited for 20 minutes I just feel like it was definitely unprofessional after renting a car for two months and just dropping it off that morning I should've been able to still get a rental car show my ID or even come back to show the same ID I'm in the system. The USAA insurance company coordinated my rental at this enterprise. Enterprise pick me up at the auto body shop. When I arrived at the office I was assisted by Dupree. He offered me to wait for a car model equivalent to mine to be cleaned or upgrade to a ready to go premium rental available at a discounted price due to the insurance. I took the opportunity to upgrade to a premium vehicle. Everything was great! My car repairs were taking a little longer than expected and the current rental was A little smaller than my car. I called the enterprise office and asked if I could swap my car for a car that's equivalent to mine at no additional cost, they stated no model equivalent rental was available and to follow-up in a few days. I called back a few days later (it was about 3pm) & spoke with Nick and he stated that they did not have any equivalent vehicles again. He mentioned the only rental that he had at the same premium upgrade cost was a Dodge Ram truck. I initially declined but I had things to do that required additional space in my car therefore I called back and told them that I was on my way. I rushed over since the office closed at 5, I arrived @ 430pm. I was ready to swap the rental and realized I had forgot to refill the gas. I told the representative i would be right back. I literally did a U-turn and went to the gas station at the corner & filled up the tank completely. I made it back before closing, returned the rental and walked out to get the Dodge Ram. The representative did a walk through as she was picturing all the dents and dings. The truck was parked in a tight space where you couldn't even open the door therefore I was not able to get into the car and inspect it or able to drive enough to brake hard enough to discover the brakes were squeaking. The next morning as i was rushing out, I noticed the seat was a dirty and the car was musty. It was then obvious the rental was not cleaned and put out to rent! This made me not want to drive this rental but unfortunately I was unable to stop my duties to return and swap rentals again. The first time I put gas I accidentally open the hood and as i was closing it, I looked and the entire engine was muddy they didn't even wash it. The passenger seat had dusted mud stains, hair and unkown spills marks.( see the pictures included) Finally my auto bodyshop called and said my vehicle was ready for pick up at 6:42 PM ( After hours for this office). I made it to the office to return the rental the following day. I explained all the discomfort an unprofessionalism of renting out an unhygienic vehicle with squeaky brakes to the representative and asked if they can reduce to the cost. The rep. stated she would speak to the manager. The rep then offered to reduce the cost of 5 days. (I appreciated that after the conditions of the rental) She then said I was short 6 gallons of gas on the initial rental. I explained to her that was impossible As I clearly came and left, drove to the corner gas station filled up the tank before swaping rentals. The rep then stated she would remove the gas shortage charges. (Clearly an error on their end) She provided my total. I noticed it wasn't adding up right. She said there was additional charges due to my rental extension only covering up until yesterday. I told her I did pick up the vehicle yesterday at 6:42 PM after hours for this office so how is one suppose to return the vehicle? She stated it's my responsibility to return the vehicle and that I would be responsible for that extra day! Aside from filthy poor maintained vehicles extra charges because their office was closed when I received my personal car back. Very professional! (I just want to express my experience so the next person can actually not miss these key points) Inspect your car completely not only outside, inside as well regardless of what time they close. This accident couldnt of happened at the worst time for me as I needed my car for my busy newborns schedule. I had to settle as I couldn't take off or cancel plans to return the vehicle during their business hours. I drove around with blankets on the seats and drove the least possible. The loss of ones comfort is priceless! Giving 3 stars- Because my initial rental encounter with Dupree was great. It just went downhill with the swap and I think that Cars should be physically and then visually inspected for maintenance instead of just putting the keys out front like theyre ready to go! read more

I requested a pickup at 1030 and I was told I would be picked up by 1130. So I called at 1130 to see when they planned to pick me up since they close at 12 on Saturday and I was told by the representative who is not at the branch they sent at form/message to the branch and I have to wait till they call me to pick me up. Spoke with the regional manager and now I see why the manager doesn't understand the concept of customer service. Upon arrival no one keeps track of your arrival time. Unless you keep track yourself, people who arrive after you will be serviced before you. I understand patience but if I bring it to your attention and all you do is make excuses, patience goes out the door!! Also their cars are filthy. I made an online reservation for a car. The confirmation email said the car would be available at noon. On the day of the rental, I called to make sure the car would be there before I went to pick it up at noon. It wasn't. In fact, there were no cars available for that entire day. The service was good. I was disappointed that they had such a small selection of cars. I had to take a huge GMC Terrain at first that was very difficult to park and wouldn't fit in my one-car garage. During the past holidays, I rented a small SUV to go on a business trip to Nevada. I had problems with the vehicle and could not get a replacement. I called the emergency hot line multiple times and I was instructed to go to every Enterprise location in the region. I was unable to get a replacement vehicle. I contacted Jose Diaz, who is the assistant manager at the Sacramento location on Franklin blvd, as a last resort. After the many rejections to find a vehicle from other sites, Jose Dias provided me with options to get me home safely for Christmas. Pretty disappointed with this location. They were the closest Enterprise to where my car was being serviced for some body work and I heard they could conveniently drop off a car to make it a seamless experience. I called to see if they had a car available that my insurance would cover. He (unfortunately didn't get his name) said they didn't have any cars in that price point and I'd have to pay the difference but he would have some in a few days and noted I'd be third in line. I said okay then would you call me when the car is available? The guy then said "now why would I do that? It's up to you to call and check in with us." I thought that was very strange and just odd customer service. Went to the Enterprise Elvas location and had much better luck. They too didn't have a car in my price point available but were able to do a price adjustment because of the lack of inventory. I am currently renting a car from this location as of 8/12/21 and the vehicle I was provided with smells of cigarettes inside, the tire pressure were not even throughout, and the brakes are almost out (brake pads starting to scratch surface). The car is clean inside and out physically besides minor paint chips and light damage to the hubcaps. Customer service is acceptable. I just hope I won't get charged for the cigarette smell when I return the vehicle on 4/16/21. That being said, I probably won't rent another car from this location; will make the trip to Elk Grove if needed. read more

This place was so not organized! We were booked at 10:30am but didn't get our car until 11:40am and we had to ask for a couple of times to rush them. They did offer a 5% discount but I think we deserve more discount since they held up our time planning schedules. I called to see if they can send the shuttle to get me on my lunch at 12 he said they're too busy 2 pm would be better call a few mins before I need a ride I called at 1:47pm they didn't answer until 2:04pm the driver didn't show up u til 2:18 the location is FOUR MINUTES away. Once I got there they of course didn't have a small car available like I requested so they gave a me a Durango truck and to put the cherry on top it was on E. I was not told insurance wasn't offered at the time of renting. I was also not told I needed an additional $200 deposit until I was minutes away from renting the vehicle. The website offers one price, but by the time comes to actually rent the vehicle, the price doubles. This is shady and unreasonable.
