Horrible place with staff that dont care. I booked online for a car, when i went to pick it up i was stuck in traffic and running late, i called and told them i would be 5-10min late (after 6pm) and they said they are leaving but may be there until 6:10. I got there about 5 after and knocked on the door. Someone poked their head out of the office, started to goto the door and someone else in the office called them back in. I stood out there knocking for 10-15 min until a car came to be dropped off. I knocked again and they finally answered. I explained the issue and they said sorry you didnt talk to me on the phone and the other guy left at 6. then i asked about a car and he said he didnt even have any cars. I was furious. why didnt they tell me that on the phone when i called? i will never rent from them again. read more

I just hate when the reservation department is so eager to get renters that they do not tell the customer the truth all the time and that's what really hurts the guys at the pick up locations. I gave four star because the vehicle wasn't ready and I had to wait well past my reserve time. Where do I start. Devin and Lance...oh boy! I want to be nice in this review but that is going to be extremely challenging. I made arrangements over a week in advance to be picked up at Calibur Collision at 10:30. They finally arrived at 11:10. Once we arrived at Enterprise, I was greeted by Devin and told someone would be right with me. I had a seat and listened to Devin on the phone having to repeat himself over and over to a customer. While this was taking place, two females walked in. Devin finally got off the phone and immediately greeted the females....and immediately took care of them. Mind you I had been sitting there for just about 15 to 20 minutes at this point. He continued to take care of the two women who he saw walk in after me. About 10 minutes later I was finally acknowledged again. Yay! Feels great not to be invisible. I was told that they had been waiting for my rental car to be cleaned. Yet when Lance took me outside he brought me to a pick up truck that had been parked there the entire time. I told him I did not want a pick up truck and he said that's all they had. Yet, I just witnessed them give the two women they helped, when they should have been helping me, an option of FOUR different vehicles. But whatever. This already wasn't going well and I didn't expect it to get any better. He said that he had a Camry he could give me. I said that was fine. It had just been returned, had less than a 1/4 of gas and smelled like smoke. It made me nauseous driving it home. So not only did I receive HORRENDOUS, discriminatory service....now I'm stuck paying for a subpar, smelly car I won't drive. Moral of the story...avoid Enterprise at all costs, especially this location. read more

Lance, Devin, and Diamond are always polite and professional. Vehicles are usually decently cleaned for a rental, had a few that were smelly due to stains or smoking but it's fine. Some windshield wipers have been worn out and barely work on some of the vehicles I have used. My company pays for my rentals so I always get a half ton or full size SUV, which they usually have. If not they upgrade me to a 3/4 ton diesel from the attached truck rental store. I think every vehicle I have used has had some kind of body damage but it's still operational. Unfortunately this location is always a mad house with so many people but not enough personnel to accommodate everyone; especially on the weekends the last hour before they close as had at least 10 people waiting on vehicles. Not the locations fault, just too many people showing up at the last minute, I feel for the staff as they are stressed. They need more staff! read more

The rental vehicle was fine. The service and fees were the low point. I was charged to modify my pickup date well before the rental date, I was charged a full day for returning the vehicle a couple hours late. I was charged a higher deposit because according to the rep. "people" have been renting and not returning vehicles lately. This was my last time at the location and possibly last time with Enterprise if these fees are consistent across the board. P.S. Bump that disingenuous response to score points that you are responsive. It doesn't take me reaching out to research and resolve the issues I have noted. I travel frequently for work and we exclusively use Enterprise, before the pandemic they were fine. With the shortage of cars, the service has gone down the drain. I have showed up over 4 times, FOUR to pick up my reservation that was booked a month in advance to be told there was no cars. All times they say they've called me to notify me there was no cars - I have never not once received a call, text or voicemail to say there was no cars. I wouldn't show up if there wasn't! Get real. Also, they never answer the phone. Now I know why. I've attached a video of the phone ringing nonstop. No one ever answered and it was like that the whole hour I was there. This past time was my breaking point. My pick up time was 10am, they told me the car was getting an oil change and I'd have to wait a bit. No big deal because I came at 9:45. 10:20 rolls around, (me being there almost 40 minutes, still no car) all these people come in after me for 10, 10:30 and 11am reservations, and they get cars, still no car for me. Around 10:45 (an hour of me being there) I'm like ok where is my car because I got to go. They tell me "it's here, we're just disinfecting it". Finally get the car around 11, so an hour and 15 minutes of me waiting there and THEY LEAVE IT ON EMPTY and mark on the paperwork it's on a half a tank, and then give me a beat up car with panels missing on both sides, that smells like actual dog shit. Not to mention, I was late for an 11am meeting. These people have no customer service, no sense of urgency, and continue to get worse as time goes on. I am hoping once the car shortage gets better the service here will get better as well. Until then, I'm staying far away from this location as possible. I suggest you all do the same. read more

Appointment to pick me up was 8:30 am. Waited until 8:45 then called to remind them, they didn't show until 9 am. They take me back to Enterprise check me in and tell me they have to prep the car. (the same car they picked me up in) We wait FORTY- FIVE minutes, at which point they tell me it has no gas and tell me I can leave with no gas or wait for gas. I ask how long do we have to wait for gas? The answer was "the guy with the gas card isn't here" At this point it is an hour and 45 minutes past my scheduled pickup time and I'm late for work, so I say, "I've got to go, I'll have to take it with no gas." We go to inspect the car and the inspection sticker is expired and now we have to cancel this rental and start over. I called my son, got a ride home and cancelled the entire reservation. They were completely unprofessional every step of the way. Never again. read more

I spent thousands of my own money. In return I was treated like trash. They charge your credit card random amounts whenever they feel like it. Today after I paid to extend the contract through the end of the week, Dre came to my place of business accused me of not paying and towed the car away. He told me that he didn't know anything because he was out of the office and I could come in in the morning and work it out. Um No! I rent alot of cars on my corporate account as well for my personal use, since moving to this location it has been a struggle to get the service I had in the BCS area. One time my corporate rate was overcharged and had to have the manager fix the issue. Another time as a gold member, I used my free upgrade but was still charged. Once again, the manager resolved that issue. And as I type this, I rented an intermediate size and was placed in a compact with the associate telling me he is doing me a favor with this upgrade... Huh! I should not have to be going through this hassle to get the service my corporation I pay for just to have the manager have to resolve the issues. I am not a complainer but this time I guess it went to far because I am typing this and also contacted the corporate office and hope to receive a response. Oh and do not get me started on the cracked windshield. On a positive note, the manager in that location is superb. I am sure he stays busy! read more

Well first off the maps here have this all wrong - it's located at 249@Theis not Holderreith I have rented from this company about 5 times in the 5 years I have lived up here and they have been wonderful. Very attentive to details and helpful removing and replacing things in their rentals and your own car. Their pick up drop of service is wonderful. It makes the process so much easier. They usually call to see how things are going and how you are enjoying the rental or if there are any problems. Their rates are competitive and the rental process is easy. My one negative is needing to have a $250.00 hold on a credit card to "secure" the car. They don't charge it but I still just don't like it. read more

Some guy crashed into me so my vehicle was out for repairs and I had rental car coverage for 30 days. First timer - my insurance sent me here. My insurance company that shall not be named - Geico - had been giving me problems since the start. Not wanting to cooperate at all. I showed up here and I was lucky enough to walk in to the manager on duty - Jarray. This guy chilled me out and walked me through the whole process and got me into my rental for mainly my wife and kids is what I needed it for. Out of the whole mess, he was the only one that was nice and a real human being dealing with all these insurance companies and getting shafted every which way. When I returned the vehicle, I accidentally left my baby reflection mirror in the car and he retrieved it for me before the car was rented out again and my wife drove up there to get it. That was very cool of him to do that. My wife said he was very respectful and professional. We drive from Houston to Dallas often and this is my go to joint now because of Jarray and they seem to have good vehicles to choose from. First of all, they NEVER answer the phone. I have had to drive over there twice because they just left me on hold forever. I was hit by another driver while driving one of their rental cars. I did everything I was supposed to do. Called Roadside Assistance at the scene of the accident.Gave all information at the Tomball branch (had to go there because they don't answer their phones). Gave copy of the police report. Several weeks later I have just received a bill from Enterprise for all the damages. I called the faulty driver's insurance company, and they never even filed a claim. I doubt this branch did ANYTHING with the information I gave them. I will never rent from Enterprise again. Stay away from this branch. They don't care at all about customer service. read more

I returned a car to this branch. Mr. Trevor helped me with the checkout procedure so it was fantastic and quick. It's usually best practice to refuel the car prior to returning it since the cost is usually about 13¢ to about $1.25 more per gallon; there is a Wal-Mart off Bus 249 (across the street), and down further on Bus 249 and 2920 is a Kroger and HEB. I would have given a 5th star but I only reserve that for an excellent experience. The only drawback in this particular experience was that I was told it was ok to leave my luggage in the back of the car, so whilst waiting in their branch office for my drive, I noticed that their car cleaning team was walking towards my car. So I quickly ran to them and one of them kindly took the luggage out and handed it to me; I believe there was a slight miscommunication. Overall, I was pleased with their rates and service. Trevor commented on my tie and that helped build a quick customer-business experience. He had cool polka dot socks as well. I had done an online reservation on Monday to pick up at 5 pm. When i arrived they told me there was no more trucks but that there will be some the next day. Tuesday came and I called at 8 am just to verify if they would have trucks available.. they assured me they would and that also they would waive the gas fee When i turn it in. Really nice customer service and representatives, especially Lance Carlisle who came out to our home to pick me up. We have an Enterprise near our new home, but they had no rentals so I called the main number, was given a pretty reasonable rental cost and even though Enterprise usually only picks up in a 10 mile radius, Lance came out to our home anyway. I was very grateful because my husband's old car went out on him and we only moved a few weeks ago to the new home and he had to use my vehicle, leaving me stuck at home. So grateful for Enterprise's Customer Representatives and Lance was as courteous as all Enterprise Representatives I have ever used have been.. Enterprise is my choice for Rental Car Agencies simply because they treat their customers so respectful; much like family. I turned in a clean, full of gas vehicle to the same location where I picked it up I did use the toll road like 10 times at an average of $1.75 at that as I was told the vehicle was already set up for it and was told by the attendant that everything was good, I asked if I need it to sign anything and he replied NO! everything is fine. Then a few days later I got a charge on my card for $56.67 with no explanation or invoice itemizing the charges. People is a scam to get extra money hoping that you won't complaint, because you either don't have the time or you just don't want to bother, they are counting on you not doing anything about it, next time this happens to you please complain and or get a receipt showing you there are no additional charges before you leave the location, don't make the same mistake I made trusting the con attendant, do not take their word or you will got through the same frustration I am going through right now. read more

I've rented vehicles from this location before and had no issues. My last rental experience left a LOT to be desired! I also contacted Enterprise customer care (have had positive experiences here as well) and have received almost no response except for them to say they forwarded to regional office to resolve. So disappointed in this location and customer care. Will definitely never rent here (if from Enterprise at all) again! Longer story follows: I reserved a small vehicle for 8a. I arrive later (10a) due to service diagnostics taking a while. When I arrived I was told I would have to wait a few minutes for a vehicle. No problem, i understand I was late. Was told I would get a pick up. Waited until 10:54 with no update other than someone was on the way with my vehicle. A manager returned from picking up another customer with a pick up truck vehicle that was dirty. The young lady helping me said she would take that vehicle to vacuum and I would be on my way. A few minutes later she came back out to give me a different vehicle that was already there at least some of the time that I was waiting. I didn't understand why I was kept waiting almost an hour if there were other vehicles available. We did the walk around and add ons and then she told me the vehicle was EMPTY of fuel (I'm confused why it couldn't have been fueled in the time that I was waiting)! There were also several other vehicles parked outside that made me wonder if I could have been on my way even earlier! I have been a long time customer of Enterprise and must say this was the WORST experience I have ever had with any car rental company. I hate Hertz as a company but I have never had an experience this bad there. While this location is closest to my dealership, I don't plan to return for future rentals. I hope that location gets it together before the bad reviews increase. After complaining to customer care I was told the regional office would contact me. I was not contacted by anyone. I returned the vehicle to the dealership where my vehicle was repaired and did not hear anything from the office for a week. I had to call to close out the rental and request a receipt to have the deposit released. I will definitely never do business with that office (or maybe Enterprise at all) again. read more

Terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. These people are terrible at communicating, and I don't think the Branch Manager is a real person (Garrett W.). He always seems to be "at a meeting" or "on the phone" when I try to reach him to discuss issues I've been having with employees that don't know what they're talking about. They will charge your card without your permission, and will put holds on your account for amounts that have nothing to do with your transaction without so much as a phone call. I will not be renting another car from Tomball Enterprise, if I even rent from Enterprise ever again. Get it together, and communicate with your customers a little more instead of screwing them into things they don't need. read more
