Do NOT rent a car from here! EVER! My family and I are going to a wedding and we rented a SUBURBAN or similar on July 23rd for today and when I arrived, they told me they did not have one. They tried to give me a VAN. when my reservation is for a suburban. They were pushing for us to take the van and they did not offer a solution until we kept insisting. They then finally went to get a suburban in Ontario. I had to wait 2+ hours for them to bring it. The car was also EMPTY ON GAS. Later on, my cousin, who is the GROOM FOR THE WEDDING, who also rented TWO Suburbans, arrived and they did not have a single one available for him. Not a single one!? How can you give out reservations when you don't have the cars ready? The groom had to re arrange his travel plans because of this. My estimate was $350 and in person they gave me an estimate of $500. This is absolutely unacceptable. If you do not have the vehicles you give reservations for, then don't give out reservations and we will gladly go somewhere else! I will be returning the car with empty gas how I received it and I will be expecting my total to be the amount my first estimate has and also expect a discount because of the inconvenience. . This Enterprise is filled w/ great helpful staff. I came here b/c of insurance claim / auto repair. Due to some class definition disagreement between insurance company and I, I was only able to get a sedan for my Outback. I just do not agree with a full size Sedan equals to my Outback... anyhow the Rep. (sorry forgot his name) told me well, if and when I can get Outback's rate, just give him a call back and they will update the system for me; meanwhile I can drive off Nissan Rouge @ full size sedan rate. At first I did not understand what this is about but I was worried that I will get charged for something not approved. he assured me that I am ok, b/c i am getting a Full size sedan in the system. That way if I do get updated from insurance, I don't have to come back just for switching car. As if having to rent a car because yours is being repaired is not challenging enough--Enterprise provides inferior customer service. I requested a compact--duh, mileage--only to be told there were none available. What's the point of a reservation other than to present the illusion of accommodating the customer? After verifying that I did not need the extra $30 plus a day insurance because my own insurance covered rental car damage--I also asked the girl answering the phone if any compacts were available. No. Again. I told her I did not need the insurance assuming she'd take it off. No. It's then I find out that to remove the additional insurance. I have to come in and have the car checked. Was I told this? No! I called again. No compacts. I was told I'd be contacted the next day. No contact. In the meantime, I'm still being charged the $30 plus a day, now for $180 because the employee did not tell me I had to bring the car in and they did not have any compacts which is the reason I'd go to the dealership to switch out. read more

Ahnie helped me first and she was extremely quick in getting me back on the road, Joseph helped me the second time and again, got me back on the road quickly, and Aiko helped me the 3rd time (yes my car broke down that many times) and again...was back on the road very quickly. Very disappointed with Enterprise in Upland, CA!!! I have this rental company through my insurance and is very close to the repair shop. When I called to make the appointment, I talked to a lady; I asked her specifically what kind a car I want to rent (small Nissan kicks SUV or small sedan) she said: "Sure no problem we'll have that kind of car ready for you". When I went for my appointment they didn't have it; they only have some huge big cars. Since it was almost time to close, they convinced me to take this big car (which I didn't feel comfortable with) and promised me they will have the one I had requested the next day. I went the next day to switch cars and sure enough they have the Nissan kicks. They made the switch and all the paperwork and when we were inspecting the vehicle, I sat inside to check it and discover a strong smell to cigarettes. I am allergic to smoking; therefore, I immediately starting coughing with itching in my throat. I didn't take the car! They did not even offer me another car or apologize for the inconvenience. Ashley one of the agent ask me to come back next day and she will find another car for me, but that was my second time there and obviously they couldn't be able to help me. So I took an Uber back to my place and ended up with no rental car. I will never coming here again!! read more

When I walked in around 5/6 lobby was full and one angry customer yelling at the employee wanting to see manager and pointed one guy claimed he's a manager now someone else is. Awkward?!?! Ok so felt bad waited for my turn another guy behind counter offered to help walked out only to offer a car that's not available unless I wanted to wait while being clean. Lobby full of angry customers while I'm on lunch break...ea no thanks! So I asked the kind driver to take me back to work. She suggested I should call again in morning is better than afternoon and ask for the car I wanted and tell them I have very short window to pick up car please have it ready. Thought about it I guess we all can have one lousy day maybe give this one another try! The gentleman man who answered my call promised me it will be ready and that will be no wait and the same kind lady picked me up and thanked me for giving them another try. I had gotten a rental from this place before due to a car accident & today when i went in vanessa took care of me which she's amazing! however when i was waiting to get a car i was with a guy im not sure what his name was but he was extremely disrespectful & rude, when showing me the car he basically gave me no option to see others he led me straight to the one car & was rushing me to sign things without explaining thoroughly what i signing until after it was signed. i then told him i didn't need the protection plan because last time i got the rental i didn't get it & i was fine he then began to add "well this is your second accident you should get it" throwing it in my face that this was my second accident!!!! after that i told him no i don't need it but thank you, after signed the stupid things again paid & left with the car that was basically shoved to me. also the car is dirty with chip crumbs in the crevices,the car was just dirty. gas tank was left in E so i had to drop an extra $70 on the tank which last time the car was at full tank so i thought that was weird! but extremely dirty & disrespectful that he thought throwing my business out there would make me spend MORE money. i took full offense to this!! extremely disappointed!! read more

I ordered a car rental from hotwire.com, 1 hr later arrived at enterprise to pick up the car (paid $15 for Lyft to get here) and was informed that they have NO CARS available for rent. A car rental service has no cars for rent?! Really?! Never had this happen before. Have to pay another $15 to get home (6 miles away) because not only do they not have cars for rent but they also won't give me a ride home. I counted 6 people on duty. You would think if they have no cars for rent someone could at least drive me back home. I'm only 6 miles away. So now I'm out $30 total , and no car rental. I rented a car from them for 8 days. We have rented from them before and have had pretty good service. I needed the car early Saturday morning so I picked it up Friday. I was told to come in as early as possible because the selection would be better. I came in and received the car and asked for a ride, which is a part of their trademark. I was informed that they could not give me a ride (2 miles away) because they were too busy and they do not guarantee that a ride will be available even though their tagline is "We'll pick you up". They should think about changing that to "Maybe we'll pick you up". I finish up the paperwork and drive myself home in my car and leave the car there. I arrange for a ride around 2:30 to get back and pick up the rental. We decided to hustle back after 7 days and get the car turned in a day early to save some money. I was informed that since I had rented the car at 11:30 and I was returning it 7 days later at 3:30 I would be charged for an extra day. When I approached the manager he said there was nothing he could do about it it was done "automatically" by the system. He could not waive the fees or anything else. It was stated in the policy and I could have a copy of that if I'd like. He said I could keep the car and return ot the next day since I had already paid for it. I didn't need it for another day and that was not a solution. Even though I let him know we had driven 400 miles to get the car back that day and I truly did not get the car until 2:30 the day I picked it up it didn't matter. My request fell on deaf ears. The manager was busy and obviously understaffed. I have never had a problem renting from Enterprise before and they have always been very accommodating. I hope they can get this problem resolved. BTW I am online trying to chat with their customer service and it only took them 33 minutes to get someone to chat with me. Unfortunately, the Enterprise corporation is suffering from a pandemic where the phrase "customer service" has become an oxymoron. 51 minutes later they informed me they would send my complaint along to the regional manager?? and then copy and pasted their policy to me and informed me they cannot send chat transcripts via email. I went through Travelocity to rent from them. I paid to "skip the line" but still ended waiting. I asked for a Rav 4, but got a Equinox. The guy that helped seemed like he didn't want to be there. I understand it's busy. But it's your job. You applied, they didn't come pick you off your couch. I did keep the car an extra day. So they charged me $21 for collision insurance but when I chose it on Travelocity it was $10 per day. Upon returning the car. The girl didn't even turn the car on and told me I was 2 gallons of gas short when In fact I had just put $30 to fill the tank to past full. Mind you, they gave it to me with the tank a little less than full. So they tried charging me $15 extra. My charges initially were $353. It came out to $603 how? I don't know. What I'm saying people. Is look at your charges. Make sure they get in the car and actually turn the key to see the gas gage. Yes it's there's a pandemic, but it's your job to give customer service to the best of your ability. Not halfway. read more

Let me start by saying, the rest of this crew is amazing. Very polite, straight forward, and respectful. Due to new management, and these individuals, specifically Angelica, are the reason that I will still return to do business here in the future. But Jacob, my very charismatic buddy who was the manager of this location, didn't offer quite as comfortable of an experience. I was informed he has since been replaced, which is great. Please don't allow this review to deter you from going to this location, as it is now under new management. However, the survey they provided me has expired, so this is the only way I can complain about this dude. I was allotted a specific amount to rent a vehicle for up to 30 days. I wanted a smaller sedan, but Jacob kept bringing up this Range Rover they had. I turned it down at first, choosing a cheaper vehicle. The very next day, Jacob texted me notifying me that the Rover was still there, and he could make sure it fit my budget. I visited that next day, dropped off the first vehicle and got the Range Rover. He assured me that it was actually $5 UNDER the amount I was allotted. He notified me that there MAY be $1-$2 per day that may come out in taxes, but that would be it. My total out of pocket should have been, at most, $60. I was charged $170 because Jacob lied to me. He informed the associate that he had told me something completely different. Horrible salesman, and just not a nice person. If anyone from Enterprise reads this and can help me formally file this complaint, I'd greatly appreciate it. Salesmen like him need to exit the sales game. I reserved a van and an SUV on the Enterprise website for this location and even added my credit card information to ensure I'd have an easy pick up, but when I arrived at the location they told me the van wasn't available and the SUV's check engine light was on! The least they could have done was to call me ahead of time and let me know the cars were not available! Horrible experience. Here is why I can't give Enterprise 5 stars: 1. I don't like standing outside in the parking lot when it's time to discuss and pay. And then when I ask to go inside and I walk up to the counter, am told "No, not here, someone might come in." (???) So the choice is to stand inside or go over to a row of chairs lined up against the wall (not an inviting waiting area at all). 2. When I return my car I am asked to rate the service but also told that anything less than OUTSTANDING will be considered failure for the employees. This puts the customer in the position of either being honest but getting the staff in trouble, or simply lying and saying outstanding even if we don't think it's outstanding. read more

Too easy and often we leave more negative reviews rather than positive so that's why I'm happy to finally leave this particular review for the staff at the Upland Enterprise office. As a regular customer that basically uses them for all my transportation needs (I live so close to work I got rid of my car several years ago), Enterprise has been "my car". Perhaps it's because I've come to learn more about the company, but the crew works really hard despite the demanding schedule. It's also great to see them respond to high pressure situations, like when I make a last minute reservation and show up expecting to have it all ready upon my arrival, which by the way, they have the most courteous and professional drivers for pick up. There are two particular individuals that have been VIP for me at this branch, Lance and Gabby. Lance may be not don the business attire, but he's well versed in customer service. His enthusiasm and friendly demeanor is most welcoming and he's always eager to help. For example, when I've left personal belonging in the car and tried to retrieve it later. All of this is matched by the assistant manager, Gabby, though I would imagine not for too long, she's going places. She is the reason why I have the utmost confidence and trust in going to this branch. I've had isolated incidents with past management that made me consider trying another branch, but glad I stuck around. Gabby understands customers and has the ability to see from others' perspective and this allows her to be very effective! Thank you Gabby for making my rental needs not only bearable but pleasant! Wow, much longer review than I had planned but goes to show that there are lots of positives out there and we just need to take the time to call it out, just as we do with negative experiences. This place is a joke. I reserved my vehicle in January. They called me a couple days ago and left a message to confirm. I called back and confirmed. I come today and they didn't have the 15 seater I reserved! & they didnt even try to call me multiple times like yesterday or the whole day today to tell me. "Oh, we left a message." Hmmk but my trip is tomorrow and I need a specialty van which is why I RESERVED it way ahead of my trip. They couldn't find another van and I needed at least 12 seats. So now I'm left searching online all last minute for a f**ken van, ruining my damn night and trip. The one star is generosity on my part. My first issue was, I had an 8am appointment but still waited 30 minutes before an employee checked me in. It wouldn't have been too bad if we hadn't had to wait out side. The car I had reserved two weeks prior was no longer available. I was told they could bump me up for an additional fee. After a shot but heated debate with a manager - I was given the car at the rate agreed to in my reservation. When going to pay for the rental - the person made a mistake in swiping my card so it was declined. I was then told I couldn't use the same card for 24 hours there. My spouse used their card (same account with a different number) and it was approved. The inspection of the car was rushed and the employee was making mistakes and seemed to miss some dents that were easily noticeable. I was told the tank was 3/4 full but when I started the car- it was only 1/2 full. (They reluctantly changed that on the paper work) Next time I need a car rental - I will go anywhere else. read more

My car was totaled, so I had to rent a car for 30 days. When I returned the car, I accidentally left my Starbucks tumbler in the cup holder. When I realized it 10 minutes later, I went back. They said there was no tumbler. I had a sold out everywhere Starbucks tumbler. They stole it. There is no way my cup disappeared in 10 minutes. read more
