She discovered that I had in fact been charged incorrectly and was able to adjust my rate from about $190 per day to roughly $70 per day. UNRELIABLE. No car was available even tho we had a reservation, The manager advised that the company took away cars earlier and left him to rely on returns. Luckily Hertz was able to fill our requirement (five with baggage) but at three times the cost. We had no choice since we were on a tight schedule and could not wait the hours for a potential return. They don't accommodate their customers if there is any affiliation with the airport, due to their lack of negotiating. I had reserved a 15 passenger van, way in advance for a Bachelorette party. I had ladies coming in from out of state & all over Washington. I spent over $1,000 in things needed for the party. I get a call Saturday morning at 10am, mind you I'm on my way to pick the van up at 10:30 am. This guy named Nick calls to let me know that there is no van available. He proceeds to let me know they had been calling me all week to let me know the van wasn't going to be available. I then said, that is untrue, I have yet to see a call from enterprise. He than continued with saying they couldn't find my phone number to let me know about van, so he contradicting himself because he just mentioned they tried calling me all week. But yet they couldn't find my number. I then asked him, so how did you get my number, he then says "I had to look you up in the system". So he just lied, because he said they tried getting a hold of me. I was so Angry, we had to cancel our original plans and we had to stay local. My car broke down so I called them for a car. They couldn't either bring me a car or pick me up. I asked how I was supposed to get there. They said I could rent an Uber or take a bus how is this company even in business? The girls said they only had six people on site so they couldn't pick me up. I would suggest if you don't have enough people to serve your customer, you need to hire more people I cannot recommend this business to anyone. They found one and made my reservation. 4 days later they called me to let me know they couldn't let me take that car since IT'S in HIGH DEMAND. I asked them to show me where on their website I could find the company policy to which the manager replied "It's a store's decision". Store decisions are going to hurt this company in the long run as I believe the PURPOSE of this business is to SATISFY customers' needs when traveling since we are paying for the service. I recently needed a rental because my engine went out in my car I'm from Portland so being 3 hours from home really made for a difficult Labor Day weekend. My car dealer does not do rentals they reimburse and I had a difficult time dealing with them. BEWARE! When you reserve a car they don't tell you that they are not located at the Yakima Air Terminal. In addition you will wait quite a while to get picked up even after they are "on their way". They are only open until 6 pm and are NOT open until 7:30 am a full hour and a half AFTER the first flight. The customer service is deplorable. Complete turn off to this company. Best location for prompt and kind customer service. I drove 2 hours to rent at this location because they were the only site open on a Sunday afternoon. They got me in and out quickly right at closing time. The car was clean and running well. When I returned from my business trip four days later, I arrived 5 minutes after closing. The manager Nathan came to the door and assured me my rental car would be "returned" and I wouldn't be charged for an extra day. I got back to my car that was parked 2 lots over and found my battery was dead because I left my lights on. I went back to Enterprise and found Nathan as he left for the day. He offered to come give me jump despite the 95° heat and he was off work. He went above and beyond his job and I am so thankful. He made me a loyal customer for life. read more

I recently rented a car from this location. I was really worried after reading all the negative reviews, but my workplace only rents from Enterprise for its employees. Turns out, this was a great experience! The employees were all very helpful, from the shuttle driver to the desk person. I dealt with 5 people over the rental time, and they were all very friendly and helpful and made for a wonderful experience. The one frustration, and the reason I considered giving this only 4 stars, is that the pickup process is not clear. I was really unsure what to do after deplaning. I tried searching for information on their website and was trying to call to find out what to do. I didn't see a shuttle outside and there were no notifications inside. After finally getting cell services (in short supply inside the building), I was told that the shuttle should be waiting outside in an unmarked minivan. I never would have known what to do (since I'm not in the habit of randomly hopping into unmarked minivans) if I hadn't been told after calling. A heads up or some signage (magnetic Enterprise sign on the car?) would have been helpful. Aside from that blip, renting from Enterprise in Yakima was a great experience. read more

We rented a one way rental from Seattle thinking we would drop it off at the airport and pick up our vehicle that was left at the airport parking. Only after we find out it needed to be dropped off at a different location and then had to find a way to get to the airport. They are not forthcoming about their location. Worst place to get a car!! We had problems with them in the past and last week my fiance mom was in a car accident. The adjuster set up for her to get a car from them. Due to her having a concussion we had to cancel. We called back August 14th to see if she could get it, at first we weren't sure as it might have to go through adjuster again, but we spoke to a lady who said they still had the ok but they didn't have any till Friday and put us on hold to deal with another customer. IF you ever leave anything in the car of value, such as a coat. DON'T ever EVER expect them to call you, or put the coat in their lost and found box. They're employees are not as honest as they might believe they are...or they would get the article right back to the customers. I find stuff in the rental cars all the time, I ALWAYS return items. BUT they don't return anything as far as I see. Rental cars are in pretty good shape, but employees cannot be trusted to return any articles you forgot. They don't think it is important or even care you lost something. But to you the renter...it might be a special item that is irreplaceable. The car I rented didn't drive smooth it felt as if something was wrong with it, it was very small, not enough room for my trip there. Not to thrilled with the car that ws given to me and it was an upgrade. However when I was done I recieved a ride back to the airport and the Employee I think her name was Adriana she was awesome. Had a reservation for a rental with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Yakima for the weekend of the music teacher's convention. Wound up being delayed and then bumped from my flight through no fault of mine. Tried to call Enterprise in Yakima to apprise them that my arrival time had been changed to 5 hours later. It took me over 5 attempts and more than an hour to finally be able to reach a person on the phone without being disconnected by their phone answering computer system. When I did reach a person and told them of my new arrival time, I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem. That I would still have the rental car that had been designated for me. When I arrived in Yakima at that new time that I had told them, there wasn't ANYONE there to meet me and complete my car rental. I began to call (AGAIN) and once again had issues getting someone on the phone to help me. I was stuck at the airport without any way to get to my motel or to any of my student's events (honors orchestras) that I was there to attend. Wound up having to get a ride to my motel, and called Enterprise yet again. The lady on the phone informed me that the Yakima office closed at 12:00PM and asked me how I managed to get a pick-up time that exceeded the office hours, and I did not know what she was talking about. I had an All State concert that I was supposed to be at and I was missing. The lady told me that there wasn't anyone within 40-50 miles who could help me, and to call 'Uber'. (For the record, there isn't any 'Uber' in Yakima!!) When it was time for me to attend the other concert (the next day), I wound up having to walk 1+ miles to the concert venue lugging a 35lb weekend bag as I had extra photography equipment to take photos for my student's parents who could were not in attendance which wouldn't have been an issue since I was supposed to have a rental car. Upon my return to the greater Seattle area, I called the Yakima Enterprise Rent-a-car office Monday morning and spoke with the manager. Of course he had NO idea how I was abandoned and offered me a vehicle for Monday. I declined the vehicle as I didn't need it, he apologized and that was the extent of it. Then spoke with someone on the national line and again filed a complaint about what happened. I was assured that a manager would be calling and talking to me. Well, that was Monday and today is Friday and I have yet to speak with this 'manager'. (Yes, someone from the national office called my landline, but left no message.) I called again (this time to the number on my caller i.d. on my phone) Thursday telling my story to the national number yet again. This time, it appeared that the person on the phone listened and took notes. Again I was assured that I would hear from a manager, and promised some 'coupons' to help to make it up to me. And again - NOTHING!! With complete and total confidence I can say that I will NEVER rent from Enterprise Rent-A-Car EVER AGAIN!! They left me in an unsafe situation that no one should have to try to deal with, especially a woman traveling all alone. It is very obvious to me that customer satisfaction, let alone safety is the LAST concern that this company has beyond the all mighty dollar. I rented a car from the sunfair Chevrolet location because my car was getting repaired there just made sense. I didn't have to pay for the rental it was an insurance billing. From what I understand Sunfair location is also ran by the ist street location. When I called to complain earlier. I don't know how the award winning customer service is measured. Because I definitely did not get it. so lets begin my tale. My work schedule changed on Friday was supposed to pick up my rental on Monday morning. I called the office at 4:10 pm got voice mail left a message. Did not receive a call back. Office closes at 5:30. Monday morning arrives. I debate if i can check in my car and get the rental and get to work all within 30 minutes since work is not far like 3 miles highway. I decided to do it thankfully the repair shop was open a little early got some bonus time there. Went to get my car. The agent didn't say good morning or sorry to hear your car was damaged nothing. I gave her my info she found me. I also told her I left a voice mail. again no response like i'm sorry you didn't get a return call or did you have a question or need something additional. she takes me to the car its a nice car. i look at it not only was it dirty on the outside dead bugs and dirt. The inside was not cleaned there was peoples trash still in it. She wanted me to take it as is. I asked for a different car denied. She didn't even try to apologize or say she didn't have time to check the car. she offered to have it cleaned out. the kid spent 5 minutes just cleaning the inside. I drive off later that day I found more trash and personal affects from previous renter. At the end of the rental I drop the car off close to end of day. Different agent he was busy getting someone on the road. He offered to take the keys so I can get on my way which was great because i had stuff to do. However, he didn't even take the time to say a quick thank you for renting with us. read more

We ended up in Yakima after our flight into Seattle was diverted there in a windstorm , so we were already flustered and tired . We called Enterprise as we have a location near our home which we have always had great service from , and they were the only company that had an SUV available at the last minute . The lady on the phone ( who was not local , some sort of call center ) kept me on hold for almost 15 minutes after asking a ton of questions before she would even tell me if any cars were available . Then she said she would transfer me and I got cut off . I called the local agency again and they said they would send a shuttle which took FOREVER to pick us up , I had to call twice to see if they were coming at all ... then they did NOT have the SUV they promised and the kid renting us the car talked to us like we were 18 year olds who had never rented a car before ( we were all in our 50's!!!) we were freezing and annoyed and he was just talking like a robot who had memorized his script . Then he said there would be an extra $75 charge because we were returning the car to a different location !! Obviously I told he agent on the phone our situation when I reserved the car , but we were so annoyed an impatient to get on the road to Seattle we just agreed to whatever he said .
