Not only did the stylist at this place botch my hair, but I did not get the pampering you normally would by a stylist. First thing is I swear she had my hair shampooed and conditioned in 2 minutes. Normally you expect a nice relaxing head massage for a few minutes as they are scrubbing w/ the shampoo and conditioner, I did not get that. I'm in the process of trying to grow my hair long so I haven't had a cut in a long time. My ends were getting frazzled so I wanted about 1inch to 1 &1/2 inches cut off, but to also cut in some layers to keep it fresh. She had my hair cut in oh...about 5 minutes. I'm sorry, but a good stylist takes their time and makes sure they are doing the right job. On top of that I have a LOT of hair so it definitely takes longer than 5 minutes. All in all I was in and out of the salon in about 25 minutes after the blow dry, since that takes the longest due to my hair being very thick. Anyway what really burns me is the fact that I gave her a 20% tip. At the time of the visit, after she cut my hair and blow dried, it actually looked amazing. That is the one thing I will give her, is that she did a great job styling. However, that was most likely to cover up her botch job!!! A few days after getting home, I am going to put my hair in a ponytail so that I can go running. Well, there are all these little botched areas, where there are sections of hair that are way too short to fit in the ponytail and they are sticking out all over my head!!! Now I know she cut layers into it, but my hair is long layers and the shortest layer is still plenty long enough to git in the ponytail!!! I'm so annoyed I didn't notice this the day I had it done. I'll be nice enough to not put her name here, just to say that the woman who cut my hair was a bit older, probably in her 50s. My search for a new salon continues. read more

Came here several times for highlights, but was made to wait up to 30 minutes even with an appointment made in advance. not returning.

I had a couple bad experiences here... after the first one I gave them a second chance because I'd been there several times with success. Never again. First one, I went in for just a cut and style, nothing fancy, just pretty much a trim on the cut I already had. She put the cape on me, frowned, and opened it wide and removed the towel around my neck... I wasn't sure why because it's not like it was too tight??? She spent at least 5 minutes doing literally nothing other than "combing" (I use quotes because it was more like a heavy scrape) the back of my head and neck. Cut it 2" shorter than the 2" I'd asked her to, and cut my hair so the pieces deliberately fell on my face, neck, and shoulders. Never styled it, just said "done" and booted me out of the chair. I put my jacket on, and it felt like a hundred little needles poking me in the back. All that hair landed on my back because of the lack of cape in back. I never managed to get all the hair out of the jacket despite numerous lint-rollers and washings, and it had to be thrown out. Oh, and the back of my head and neck were scabbed up for a few days because of the scraping. And she overcharged me. I have absolutely no idea what I could have done or said to have offended her but I guess I did...??? The second time, the final nail in the coffin, was when I'd made an appointment for a cut and color, and managed to book with someone who wasn't that awful stylist. Now, I understand that scheduling can be problematic, but when I called to cancel due to a family emergency (I was literally headed to the hospital instead of the salon) I got absolutely reamed out by the receptionist even though I explained the situation. Oh, but don't I KNOW that I've completely inconvenienced her and now she has to rearrange her stylists' schedules to fill the gap? So sorry lady, but I think being there for my stepson when he just flipped his car is more important than your stupid schedule. Never. Ever. Again. read more

I can't even give this salon one star! The only good hair stylist they had (Paul) they let go on Christmas Eve! Paul has been doing my hair for years! He was the best stylist and colorist they had. He's even been published! What kind of people lets someone go on Christmas Eve? Evil people that's who! This salon is snobby and doesn't make you feel like a valued customer and I have been traveling up to Mt. Olive (about 1/2 hour drive) because that's where Paul was working and I hated going there because the people who run the place and the other stylists always made me feel like they were always taking about someone, a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming feeling! If I could give ZERO Stars I would! This Strip mall hair salon is Awful! I bought a Groupon and the first problem was when I tried to reschedule and was advised if I didn't reschedule within a 24 hour period, the Groupon is Lost! So, I had to come in even though I was in pain or lose the money I had already spent. Then the bill came and it was more money on TOP of the Groupon cost which was not what I had agreed to. Well, then, the receptionist said if I paid $35 I could have the Groupon deal again and I felt at least I would make some money back on what I had lost. Big Mistake!!! I go back later in the year as I had knee surgery and had to reschedule and after my hair was finished and I go to pay, I'm advised that since I rescheduled more than was "allowed" I LOST the deal and now had to pay FULL PRICE!! I was NEVER told I had Lost the deal due to rescheduling when I called to make the appointment so had NO reason to think anything I did was Wrong. I asked to speak to the Owner as the receptionist was clueless and showed me what they have on the wall to push the rescheduling SCAM as I see it. Well, she called the owner and I spoke to Amy Murphy on the phone and she was RUDE to say it nicely! She said she "Didn't have time to argue with me as I wasn't getting it" Whatever "it" is to her, I'm assuming her ripping me off! And that "She had paying customers in front of her and either I pay the FULL PRICE NOW OR SHE IS CALLING THE COPS!!!!" Now mind you, it is Christmas time and the Salvation Army Bell Ringer is right outside. Nice...she was willing to have the COPS come rolling up into her store I suppose rather than honor the deal I paid for! What a rude, obnoxious lady! Thank God I had brought extra money with me as what if I hadn't?! I would be in JAIL over the weekend? What a nightmare and anxiety provoking mess!! Then to add insult to injury, I get a letter last night from Amy Murphy saying I should find another hair salon! Ha! I have been going to this salon for about 5 years! I have moved to California however and I still await to come home to have my hair done by my favorite hair stylist Ashley! She is amazing with color! I have been blonde, brown, bright blonde again,blonde and brown. She does it all! My hair is extremely healthy! I'm trying not to assume anything but my treatment here gave me the feeling that Groupon customers aren't given as much care as a normal paying customer. I was 5-7 minutes late to my appointment because of car oil issues, that's my fault, I understand that and apologized profusely. However, in order to keep to a half hour allotted schedule for Groupon customers, I did not receive the deep conditioning that the Groupon noted and was also told that because my hair is so long, there wouldn't be time to blow-dry it. I left with my hair cut, some quick spray-in conditioner and a wet head... Yes, keeping to your scheduled appointments is important. But the woman who cut my hair sat back down as I left - there was no one waiting to be seen by her. I definitely did not feel like a "valued customer". I thought I'd try this place in spite of the poor reviews...I like to form my own opinion. Bad idea. The color & styling were great, but the cut did not even closely resemble what I asked for! I even brought in pictures!!! An angled bob is not that difficult! Also it is not symmetrical. The right and left sides of my head aren't the same length! The "layers" are completely uneven! It's awful!!! When she asked me how I part my hair, I told her to part it on the right, and she parted it in the center, just doin her own thing! Then she realized the ends were flipping up (I look like mary Tyler Moore), because she didn't cut it right, and her response was "did you forget that your hair does that?" are you kidding me??? My eyebrows were done very nicely and the lady gave me stellar advice and seemed to know what she was doing. I must say, I have been going to Entourage for atleast 4yrs. now. Recommended by my mother who has been going since the salon opened and have never had an issue nor a complaint. My schedule is difficult so I have trouble making appointments and being able to stick to them so I stylist hop and every single time I have loved the results. From hair cuts to highlights every stylist I went to has fit my needs and listened to me. I'm now moving 40 mins from the salon but will travel and continue to get my hair done. After reading several bad reviews I decided to see for myself how Entourage Salon was as it was very convenient. When I arrived they had a receptionist taking your name and announcing to your stylist that you were there. I had a minimal wait time. She hung my coat up for me, they had coffee while you waited. Melissa was wonderful stylist! I was nervous about getting my haircut at a new salon. She did an excellent job. Everyone there was pleasant, all the customers seemed happy with their stylist. I will never go to this salon again!!! I am so disappointed. My husband took my son for a haircut. just a buzz cut pretty much. a high and tight if you will. first of all, if you are not equipped with the proper tools for this type of cut why not say that instead of going at my kids head with what you have? the stylist then proceed to take a razor to my 3 yr olds neck which is now completely irritated and sore. Needless to say my kid left there looking like his hair wasn't even touched, my husband paid and left without getting his hair cut. I've been going here for more years than I can count. I've since moved all around the county and out of state, sometimes living an hour or two away from this salon, but I always make the trip to get my hair cut here. My hair is straight, fine and flat. It's pretty much impossible to make it look anything other than flat and boring but somehow, some way, they are able to give it body. It's like magic. I send everyone I know to this salon and primarily the person I go see, Ashley. Every single person I have sent there has loved it and made it their salon. They treat you like family, the prices are reasonable, the staff is professional and the environment is very nice. Right now I am in New York City and still, when I get my hair cut, I drive my butt back to Flanders to go see Ashley and the staff at Entourage. If you've been trying to find the "right" stylist and just can't seem to find one who listens to you, understands what you want and makes it happen, give them a call, you won't regret it. read more
