We were having some air conditioning problems and thought we might need service on our air conditioner. We'd heard great things about Enviro Air so we called them. The first thing that impressed me was that they scheduled an actual TIME that they would come out, rather than a RANGE...so we didn't have to stay home waiting from rather, they showed up at our scheduled time of 3pm. That was fabulous! Ryan the owner, came and not only fixed our issues, but did a thorough inspection on the heating, and cooling in our entire house. He made recommendations, but didn't make us feel pressured to do them right away. He prioritized the recommendations and gave us exact prices for each item. His work was excellent, prices were fair, and the experience was great. They even sent us a thank you card and brownies about 2 weeks after they were here. My kids are anxiously awaiting a toilet to break...they now associate the plumber with treats!:) This was the best customer service experience I've had in SUCH a long time! I highly recommend Ryan and the team at Enviro Air. We recently started having trouble with an old HVAC unit at our home and Ryan responded within the same day. At our request, he tried repairing/charging the unit in hopes that we could avoid replacing it immediately. It was clear within a week that the unit was just too far gone, so we contacted Ryan about replacing it. I woke yesterday morning to find my water heater was leaking all over the floor. I immediately called my plumbing company but they were too busy to come out that day so I had to look around and call someone new. I used Yelp and came across Enviro Air, I spoke with Ryan who was very polite, I gave him my info and a plumber promptly returned my call and said he was on his way. When the plumber showed up, he announced himself as Rocky and got right on it. I asked if it could be repaired and from the condition and age of the unit, it could not be. He gave me many options and I ended up going with a tankless. Now I have endless hot water and I don't have to have a huge container of water to worry about. Enviro Air will be the only company I use for any of my HVAC needs as long as I am in the triangle area. My wife and I just opurchased a home over the weekend and one of the A/C units needed to be replaced. They came highly recommended from my realtor and for good reason. Not only do they do great work, they are great people and they charge fair prices. I had no problem leaving my key for them, they came in, did great work and even took the time to entertain my dogs and let them out while they were there. Now that's service. Moreover, I had bought some Ecobee thermostats that I had no clue how to install and they put in both for me for the price of one since they were already working on the downstairs unit. After a thunderstorm, our downstairs unit stopped working. Considering the online reviews, Enviro Air was the first company that I called. I also called a competitor based on a coworker's recommendation. After meeting with Chad, my husband and I knew there was no reason to call any other companies. Chad actually took the time to look at the unit and found a fix. The other company was more focused on measuring every room in my house, using my ladder, and talking down to me. I got a totally different vibe from Chad the moment he walked into my home. He was able to explain the problem and our options in a language that I understood - plus, he's a fun guy! Ryan went above and beyond to correct an issue I had with their duct cleaning service. The initial duct cleaning I had was performed by a provider that no longer works for EnviroAir. The job was done improperly which caused air quality issues for my tenants. After I posted a poor review, Ryan reached out to see how he could rectify the situation. He was genuinely interested in helping me; he never asked me to remove or update my review. Ryan personally came to my home, inspected the ducts and proceeded to offer a full replacement of the duct work in my crawlspace as a remedy. Rarely do I find myself satisfied when a business attempts to "right" a wrong. In this case, I was blown away by Ryan's offer and his desire to make things right. Ryan and his team were wonderful to work with as we determined the several needs for our home. Our AC had been declining and they were very responsive in helping our AC unit work till we could get our new AC installed. At the time of our AC installation we also had a split unit installed in our garage and an exhaust fan installed in our master bathroom. Between all the projects, the team kept us updated on how the projects were going and took the time to talk through how to best care for our units. These guys came highly recommended from a friend of ours, and they did not disappoint. We needed a new AC and furnace installed. We received three estimates from different companies, and Enviro Air offered by far the most value for the cheapest price. Ryan and Eric came to our house, did a quick run through, and gave us our options. We chose to go with a zoned HVAC system and 16 SEER unit that would help keep both floors on our house comfortable and cost efficient. The installers came on time on the scheduled day. It took three days for the install, which was longer than was estimated, but the guys were courteous and did a great job. We now have a great system which beats the pants off of our old HVAC unit. Last weekend after a series of storms with lights blinking off and on a few time, the AC stopped cooling. I called Enviro Air based upon their location and their great online reviews. Ryan came out the same day and after trying a couple items determined the compressor was bad. Due to age, decided to replace the system with a heat pump . They showed up this morning and installed a Rheem system and in a couple hours had it up and running. I have been very impressed with Enviro Air. Not pressure, just the facts. They were willing to work on a cheaper solution but I decided to just replace the whole system and now glad I did. Thank you yelpers! I was looking to finish a room on my second floor. I had ducks running through the room. I had planned on Sheetrocking around the ducks, but Ryan offered a solution to reroute the ducks so I could utilize the entire room. They replaced our 21/2 ton with a 4 ton unit. They also ran new ducks to the new finished room. The workers are professional and personable. My new AC cools the entire house with no problem. He also installed wifi thermostats and I can control my thermostat from my phone. I am extremely happy and can assure you, you will be too. read more

Chad impressed me with his HVAC knowledge just while talking with him on the phone. I proceeded to cancel the other HVAC appointment I had made previously and asked Chad to come out. He had pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone and the unit was fixed in a matter of minutes after he arrived. Even after the repair, Chad fielded all my additional question about an older unit that may need replaced in coming years. Will definitely be calling them for that replacement. I live in Raleigh and work from home and woke up this morning with no AC. It's 90 degrees+ here all week so I was hoping to get someone to come out asap. I called a few of the names I knew first, only to be told the earliest appt would be in 3 days. I saw that Enviro Air was close by the house so I gave them a call at 12:30 today. Not only did they pick up the phone right away which is unheard of, but they told me they could come today between 3 and 5. They showed up on time, diagnosed and explained the problem, fixed the unit, gave me some additional tips and were gone by 4:00pm. Incredible, outstanding, pick your adjective. Unexpectedly our heat pack unit quit working (at 15+ yrs of age we decided to replace it). We chose another company at first, but they didn't show up when they were supposed to and never called! Ryan came out that afternoon and gave us a very good estimate - the best of 3 (and a better price for a better unit than the first company)! He showed up on time as promised (very rare for home improvement companies we've discovered). Tore down old unit and installed our new unit efficiently and cleanly, explained the new thermostat, and had everything working in good order. Our AC went out suddenly last night, I called a couple places this morning and had to leave messages. When I called Enviro Air I got Ryan the owner on the phone about 9:30 am and he said he could get to me in just a couple hours. He arrived at 12:30 after calling to let me know they were on their way. Ryan and his assistant were able to install a new fan motor as well as clean and service the unit all for a great price. The air was back on and working great by 1:45. Fast, friendly, professional, and affordable -- I reached out to Enviro Air after 9:00 pm last Thursday night when I came home to a very hot house. Scott showed up promptly the next morning well within the window given to me the night before. He was quick to diagnose the problem and fixed it immediately (bad capacitor). I asked him to look at another problem I was having with drainage. He didn't have the necessary part with him but came back the next week with the part to fix it. He called prior to my appointment which allowed me to tell him about the media filter in the crawl and he could go ahead and check to see exactly what size I needed (I had no idea!) Once he arrived, he was extremely thorough taking pictures of everything he looked at to show me not only the bad (very little thankfully) but also the good things. Educated me on a few things as to how my system works and how I could improve it's efficiency. Technician Scott has serviced over 80 units and responded to over 100 service calls for the resident's at our apartment complex. He was always available when we needed him and he communicated everything he was doing, including being upfront about all costs. These guys are the best! I had the craziest thing happen; a raccoon/possum/ferret got into my home's crawlspace, chewed it's way into the ductwork, and met it's untimely demise in my AC unit's blower motor, which was no longer functional. The morning the smell became unbearable, Ryan had a guy out here and discovered what had happened. Two days later they had a new unit installed, which I appreciated given it was August.
