Here's the bad: They've gotten very expensive at $55 per hour per gardener and require a one year contract. Your lead/contact gardener will NOT be on site while work is done. You will see gardeners on their phones while working one-handed. We have a hydrangea that borders on our neighbor's garden. The PPNW gardeners chose to prune only half of it leaving it weird looking and incomplete. Why they didn't knock on the door or call to ask if it was okay to prune the whole thing is a question unanswered by owner Shannon. Instead, she chose to cut off service to us as she felt it was rude of us to ask.

They come when they say…read morethey will, are responsive to emails, and truly care about maintaining the health of our yard. We worked with another landscaper who completely butchered our bushes and sheared them beyond their natural shape. Plant People has helped us care for them in the specific ways they need, making sure to keep their natural shape and using safe soil and fertilizers. I agree with a few other reviews below that the $55/hr cost and minimum commitments add up over time. We've also had a lot of back and forth about the cost of taking items to the dump vs. putting them in our compost bin. But overall we appreciate the care they show our plants and reliability, so we plan to continue working with them and would recommend them.

GoGreen Landscaping just completed a complete yard cleanup for our home. We have many trees…read more(cottonwood) nearby and so there was a lot of debris. The shrubs were all very overgrown and beds needed weeding. Basically, I had really let the yard go this year! I can't say enough about what an amazing job they did! My yard looks beautiful! Not only did they do the basic stuff (debris/leave cleanup, edging, mowing, weeds), but they also trimmed/pruned all the shrubs and trees 6' and under. WOW! I'm so pleased with the cleanup project, I've scheduled them to come biweekly to keep it looking great. This company is in demand, especially this time of year, and so it took a few weeks to get scheduled and quoted and started with my project (it was a big cleanup job), but worth it! Jesus, the owner, communicates very clearly and quickly and so you know just when they will be able to do the work and what the cost will be, he is very responsive and treats his employees right. They are reasonably priced - and the work they do is very detailed and thorough. The team that did the work were on-time, friendly, thorough, and worked hard but efficiently! I highly recommend them.

While landscaping companies play a crucial role in transforming outdoor spaces, my recent…read moreexperience in April/May 2025 with GoGreen Landscaping for cleanup and yard restoration work fell short of expectations. Here are the key issues that surfaced during my project: Quality of Work - The cleanup and restoration work did not meet the promised standards. Despite assurances of thoroughness, some bed areas were left uncleared, with debris and weeds remaining. Additionally, items like edging and pruning that were included in the scope of services were not performed at all. Beyond the dethatching, the lawn restoration work yielded a lackluster result. Customer Communication - Written communications with GoGreen were very frustrating. After pointing out the issues that I had with the work performed, GoGreen accused me of overwatering the new seed, planning to never pay in full, and finally of having unrealistic expectations. The issue was exacerbated after I partially paid the invoice for the cleanup work while waiting for improvements in the new lawn. After receiving some angry, defensive responses, I informed GoGreen they were no longer welcome at my home. I attempted to settle the balance by offering to pay for materials and dethatching since I now need to fix the issues myself or hire another company. I then received another email threatening me with a lien on my property if I didn't pay in full. This response felt heavy-handed and added unnecessary stress to an already frustrating experience. Despite my obvious displeasure with the outcome, I paid the outstanding balance in full. Conclusion - I'm sure after reading this review, GoGreen will write a response blaming me for the outcome. Nothing GoGreen responds with will take away the fact that I wrote this review because GoGreen failed to deliver what was promised in the original scope of work. So, if you have unlimited financial resources and have extremely low expectations regarding the outcomes of your home projects, then GoGreen might be for you. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere for landscaping services.

New fence, multi-level rock garden on a steep front slope, front yard gardens/paths, garden faucet installation and the back rock patio. It turned out beautiful and they do all of the work themselves. We had the back yard landscaping portion of the plan completed in 2014, which included redoing the back fence line and building an arbor over the back gate. We get tons of compliments on the yard. Sherry and Glen are a joy to work with and very helpful with questions and taking into account the special needs or requests of their customers. I highly recommend their company.

She said not to worry about it and scheduled an appointment on Sunday, just a few days later. Sherry came right on time and spent a long time walking us through our garden, giving us ideas, tips and telling us how to take care of the plants. She taught us cool things like how to tell if individual branches are dead, or the best place to prune a rose back to. We didn't identify any major landscaping projects, and she didn't ask for any charge, just that we keep them in mind if we end up getting work done. We certainly will!
