This is an unassuming, quiet cafe during a slow Sunday. I was hoping not to enjoy the food toooo much once I saw the prices, to me a bit disproportionately high for the area and ambience, and even some menu contents. However, the food was immaculate. Well balanced, great bite to pasta, makes cheese in house for authentic Napoli pizza from a true chef. He is talented in preparation, and I could taste the quality ingredients down to the olive oil. My only ask to Enzo is to provide maybe some happy hour pricing or affordable tasting sets? Maybe pairings or pre fixe for lunch? We went here for the first time because a friend had recommended, and we loved it!!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! We had the lasagna and the chicken parm which were both incredible. We thought we were too full for dessert until we tasted the Tiramisu and had to finish it! I had heard a lot of good things about Enzo's but had not dined there until tonight. Wow! We had some of the best Italian food we have ever had. Enzo's sources top shelf ingredients. You can tell by the feel of the bread, the look of the tomatoes, etc. I had the Bucatini Amatriciana, and it was A++. Just the right hint of pepper, amazing sauce and perfectly done guanciale. Paired well with a Montepulciano D'Abruzzo. Susy had the Veal Milanese and it was crispy and flavorful. Chef was accommodating to our special requests. We ate late so the restaurant was shutting down as we left and we got a chance to talk with the Chef. You can tell he takes great pride in his culinary creations. If you are looking for a simple neighborhood Italian restaurant with food better than many of the fancy places, try Enzo's. We loved the experience. read more

First thing is the place is a cozy little joint in a strip mall. That's great, but it means there's hardly any seats. After waiting outside for about 20 minutes for our reservation, which people were sitting at the table, we finally got in. It was obvious they had not took the reservation seriously. Great family run restaurant with fabulous food and service. We visited Enzo on a Friday evening. The small but quaint place was very welcoming. Nadia was kind, courteous and friendly. Nicki was also very attentive and friendly. The entire experience, from the fresh homemade mozzarella, Tomato Penne, and the special of the day which was a SPAGHETTI ALLA PUTTANESCA Kalamata olives, onions, capers, anchovies, garlic and fresh tomatoes with a touch of marinara sauce just amazing. This place really was a disappointment. I was looking forward to some authentic delicious food in a locally-owned place. Instead the food was mediocre - the pasta was really oily. The place charges extra if you pay with a credit card. And worst of all, it was deafeningly loud inside. Nothing but hard surfaces (no acoustic tiles) so conversations sound crazy loud. And since it's hard to hear, it seems like people talk even louder. Enzo the owner talks louder than everyone else and he talks non-stop to patrons. It was not a pleasant experience at all. Since Enzo's opened in early February, I've had the opportunity to eat there with my husband for both lunch and dinner. We ate there for Valentines and the food was amazing and so was the personalized service from the owners. We ate there again for dinner, and throughly enjoyed the meal, with the exception that the noise levels were too high for me. Since it's a very small restaurant with hard surfaces, the owners might want to consider adding some acoustic panels to absorb the sound. Since I didn't want to eat in person, we ordered out the meatballs, and two chicken dishes one with prosciutto and some sautéed spinach. I'm not sure what happened tonight, but my son and I couldn't eat more than three bites of our respective meals. The food was really terrible tonight. The pasta was swimming in an excessive amount of oil or butter and the chicken did not have any flavor. It was disappointing because we spent $80 on two main plates plus the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were fine. Could it be that this food is just not good for take out? Maybe. The carton boxes for the food did not help with the presentation of the food and the taste. I felt that some of the cardboard came through in the taste of the pasta. I'm pretty sure I will never order take out from Enzo's again. read more

This is a restaurant with a talented chef but a serious problem. Judge for yourself: Last night my friend ordered a Branzino (fish) entree. At first bite, she knew the fish was off and put her fork down. To make sure, she asked me to try a small bite and I agreed it smelled and tasted too fishy. She politely sent it back. The chef himself came out and instructed her that the fish was fresh, just came in that day, and that there was nothing wrong with it. There was no apology or concern that my friend have a satisfying experience. This was in front of a packed roomful of diners. She insisted she didn't want to eat it and the waitress took it away and they started preparing an alternate pasta dish that my friend requested. Then, inexplicably, the waitress returned with the original fish dish packaged up to go, saying maybe my friend would try it again later at home. In disbelief, she (and I) insisted it was no good and should be thrown away. Later, when the bill came and the restaurant was emptying out, the branzino dish was on the bill, as well as the new pasta dish my friend had ordered. At this point, all three of us at our table insisted the branzino charge be removed from the bill. The chef and his wife doubled down on their argument that the fish was fresh and in fact that they were insulted that we would suggest otherwise. With no customers left in the restaurant, all of our voices became raised, and we insisted to just pay - even if that meant paying for the fish dish - and leave. The wife ultimately removed the fish from the bill and we paid, but we were accompanied out the door with plenty of unkind words from both of them. My friends and I were rattled and shocked. None of us had ever been treated this way in a restaurant. The chef's failure to graciously accept the dish back as unsatisfactory - and then his audacity to lecture and harangue a customer - were totally unacceptable. Obviously, we will never eat there again. While I have recommended this restaurant to numerous people in the past, I now officially warn against it. The owner's ego is apparently more important than treating customers with respect and courtesy. No amount of culinary talent entitles a person to have such blatant disregard for the customers on which he depends. read more

The place seems really authentic, I ordered a seafood pasta and asked for pink sauce and the chef said "he refused" to serve me that sauce on my pasta. Another person came to the table and explained he's from Italy and he doesn't make that dish that way because I would say I didn't like it he would have to comp me the dish. I explained that I never asked for anything to be comped, I know what I wanted to eat and it was simple to add the sauce to the pasta. The demeanor in which the lady communicated the words "he refuses" just didn't sit well. The place not full at all, very small and the seats are not all that comfortable. I was so disappointed that requested the bill for the bottle of water we ordered, paid $6.00 for the water and walked out. I felt bad for the waitress... I came here based on the reviews but I honestly don't understand the hype. I wanted to love this place because we live so close and it's a small and cozy restaurant. The review said the service was 10/10 but when we came it was busy and maybe they were understaffed. We had to ask if we seated ourselves and it took a good bit of time for our water to come and for our waiter to get our orders. We ordered the chicken parm and the lasagna. When they arrived the plates were covered in a watery sauce so as you could assume the chicken was soggy on the bottom and not crispy. The lasagna to be honest tasted like stouffer's. My grandmother is Sicilian and we always had delicious food. We love restaurants that have complementary bread but it was doughy. At the end of our dinner the staff was very nice and they apologized for the delay due to a large party being there. The food just really wasn't good this was a one and done for us. read more

Enzo's Italian Eatery is a small place in a little strip mall. Only one or two other people were there when I got there, it was pretty empty. It's very casual, compact, and a little dark. The food came out in five minutes. They had a wide variety of Italian cuisine that you don't really find in american italian resturaunts. It was delicious!!! I ordered my food to go because I was on a time crunch but it came out so fast that I didn't even have to leave. The chef (enzo) was so sweet and very accommodating. He offered to put my dish on a plate and so I ate there. 11/10 good service and food. I will definitely be coming back and bring my big italian family, too! read more

I had a craving for spaghetti bolognese last week. I looked up Italian Restaurants online and found Enzo's. The person who answered the phone was patient as I called several times when I couldn't find the restaurant. I took out the meal. The homemade meal was exquisite. I ordered a Caesar salad which included anchovies. The salad was delicious. The homemade bread was fresh and wonderful. The spaghetti was homemade too and the meat sauce was magnificent.
