This seems like a chain pizza crust and I'm not sure how they get away with claiming Award Winning. The crust is a bit tough and chewy, seems way to uniform and hints of being pre-baked. I saw this pattern under the toppings giving you a sense that the crust is premade and not formed or tossed on demand like a traditional pizza shop. Definitely a college pizza I supposed. Toppings were fine but that crust just didn't do it for us and our bar for pizza is set high, think Pizza Box in Raleigh, one of our favorites. Service was fine, its walk up and order. read more

The Pizza I have gotten here, The Heritage Honey, was actually wonderful. The service was sub-par though. A little background because I don't like to leave "ok" reviews. I ordered a single "12 pizza at around 5:40 PM. The app said it would be ready by 6:24 PM. Admittedly, I arrived a little early and had no problem waiting. When I went to the front desk at around 6:15 PM, I was told it wouldn't be ready for another 15-20 mins.....and that the DoorDash app was incorrect. Okay fine, I waited around for another 25 mins before my pizza was ready. I am aware they were busy, but over an hour for a single pizza is pretty poor. Especially when I went to let the kitchen manager know. It seemed like they didn't care and just wanted me to leave. I have worked in a pizza place before, I know it shouldn't take over an hour for a small pizza. They way the staff handled this was poor, and it is unfortunate because the food and pizza is actually pretty solid. Not sure if I want to go back at this point. read more

Enzo's has a great late night vibe and clean interior. My friend and I swung by around 9pm and were promptly helped at the register. We were indecisive about what type of pizza to get, but the servers were awesome. They also let us swap out ingredients for free! When I called the store to address the issue, the employee I spoke with was dismissive and stated that I could place another order for delivery but that no accommodations could be made. As a paying customer, this response was both disappointing and unprofessional. This is not the first time we have experienced errors with our orders, but what made this experience especially frustrating was the lack of accountability and customer care. Came here on a Friday afternoon with a friend (12/1/23). My friend, who new to the area, had been telling me how this had become his go-to spot for wings since moving to Durham a few months back. It wasn't very busy, the were a few people seated dining in. This is about 4pm on a Friday. We had a "super pepperoni" pizza (not sure if it's actually called super, but it had a lot of pepperonis on it), and an order of the "hot honey" wings. Food came out fairly quickly after ordering, about 10mins or so. The pizza was good, not the kind I would want delivered, but not bad at all. The wings are baked and tossed in whatever flavor. They had a semi-crisp style to them. The hot honey sauce was tasty. The wings themselves I'd give about a 3/5. To me, they tasted almost leftover like. Not old old, but like they maybe were cooked earlier in the day, then reheated and tossed in warmed sauce ‍. They also seemed like they were really seasoned without the sauce. If someone wanted plain, unsauced wings they probably wouldn't have much flavor at all. read more

So I recently had a bad experience with Enzos...I had ordered a bunch of pizza for a coworkers final day, we were having a party for his last day. However, I know that COVID has made things really crazy so when my niece wanted to go to Enzos for her 17th birthday, I agreed since every other experience I've had there has been wonderful. Well there were 6 adults and 6 kids...A young man Philip helped us. He gave us free drinks , I assume since we ordered so much pizza...he was so polite and accommodating. Then when I went to get a to go order to take home, he gave my nephew a free cookie! Phillip renewed my faith in Enzos and when we return, it will be entirely because of him!!! Ps. I'd been seeing these promos, but hadn't explored them until I was really crazing pizza and, man, Enzo's hit the spot! I should have taken a picture of my beautifully topped and lush Bianca Rossa pizza, but the aroma of garlic buttered crust, fresh mozzarella cheese melting, and the heaping mound of fresh basil was too tantalizing. I ate before even reaching for my phone. All too soon, I realized that their crust had changed my pizza standards for good. Don't get me wrong, at 11pm on a Tuesday before a paycheck when I'm starving, Dominos will do the trick. But now I'm hooked on this brick oven crust. Wow this place was outstanding! We were looking for fast casual quality food late on a Tuesday, and this place really impressed! It wins on prices, food quality, menu selection, fresh ingredients, really friendly and helpful counter guy, and atmosphere. We got salad, pizza and wings -- their wings are baked and sauced perfectly, and dressings / sauces are all homemade and delicious!! The salad was huge and was actually fresh with lots of cheese. But the pizza really shined. We got the Bianca Rossa half and Homesteader half, but the Biannca Rossa won. It had huge dollops of fresh mozzarella and red sauce, sausage, and topped with fresh tomatoes and fresh cut basil. It was super flavorful and a good size for two at 12"! Oh and they have 12", 14", 16", AND a personal size! This place has excellent pizza place apps -- wings and cheesy bread and salads, and really well priced subs.
